All I can say at this point after years of going to A + Autocare they consistently meet or exceed expectations. I have enough stress in today’s world to wonder if my vehicle is being taken care of by true professionals or not. With A+ Autocare I never give it a second thought. They are the best period. I have been with A+ since it was a small oil changing station on Poway road to their present location and was always very satisfied with their service. Over the last 30 years they took care of all of my cars with the same degree of professionalism. They also do the best inside/outside detailing in town.

I have been taking my cars to A+ Auto for more than 20 years and have been doing business with Dave and Al (the very honest managers of A+) for that long. At each visit over these many years my car has received expert, meticulous mechanical attention such that each of my last two cars lasted me nearly 20 years and my current car is 11 years old. Because of the proactive service my car receives at A+, I am never stranded, require towing. With each visit Dave or Al takes the time to educate me re: the needs of my vehicle so that I understand what I am paying for. When my car was serviced at A+ this week, in addition to a detailed explanation I received photos of parts needing replacement. My son and I have taken our vehicles to A+ Autocare and we have always felt that we were treated honestly and fairly. On one occasion when a repair didnt go quite right A+ stepped up and honored the fix. If I need to keep an eye out for something that will be coming up, but that doesnt need to be fixed right now, they tell me. When I have waited too long they will tell me. This is it. You cant put this off anymore or you are going to have problems. I appreciate their straight forward no non-sense approach.I appreciate that I see the very same people over the last 20 years. That to me says they are invested in working there and it must be a pretty decent place to work.

First time and they won my future service!I brought my Infiniti 2013 JX 35 in for service because the diagnostic light was on. I am new to San Diego and was looking for a new auto service center fir a car past warranty. They diagnosed my car and gave me a complete rundown with the inspection everything they told me needed service was as expected. I had recently put 4000 miles on my car moving from San Pedro to San Diego in 2 months and was concerned my car needed serious work. They repaired all the major items and my car is ready for another reload trip. I will definitely be back to finish up on the minor repairs. Also my AAA car and being a first time customer gave me a very good discount .

I just turned down some repairs from the dealership for my 2015 Chevy Traverse because of ridiculously expensive pricing ($1,700 front break pads and rotors, transmission service and fuel injection service). After talking to Alan at A+ he did a 35 point inspection and performed the repairs the dealership recommended, AND actually a few other things the dealership missed (they didn’t even fill up windshield wiper fluid!), anyways, A+ did all that for $857!! Also, unlike the dealership, A+ texts you and emails you a DETAILED report including pictures of the parts that are broken or need replacement. They’re extremely transparent and their customer service is top notch. Great people and Alan (Al) is amazing. Never going back to the dealership for services. THANK YOU A+!!

They pushed hard with my insurance to make sure they covered the cost of replacing a battery that should be replaced. They were very friendly and I will definitely use them again.

We had replaced a couple batteries in the past and one was scanned at a local parts place and determined to have gone bad Dave was quick to get us in, the battery replaced and out the door. We appreciate the relationship of trust with Dave and company at A+ that keep us bringing our vehicles back.

Been a customer for a few years and made an appointment 2 weeks out for timing belt replaced. Dropped off on Thursday for Friday repair. Was called at 3pm Friday saying they were just starting and need to keep car until Monday after they were told I needed car back Friday night. Oh well they lost a great sale and customer!

Detailed report with pictures and no pressure to complete all work recommended. Suggested most important work to do first which they completed efficiently and well. Happy to answer questions and give advice. Would certainly recommend and will be back.

I appreciate the modern convenience of having information sent to me via email. Also, A+ always seems to do a general health check no matter what major or minor issue is that brought me to the shop in the first place. Sometimes they run a tad longer than promised, but their courtesy and professionalism mitigates that. Thanks for being there!!

A+ is always straight forward with in their communication on what needs to be done now and what can wait. I always appreciate a mechanic who isnt forcing you to do everything when it might not be needed yet. My wallet appreciates it as much as I do!

Brought our 2004 Toyota Camry to A+ Autocare back in July, after receiving quotes from other shops. It was our first time in and A+ had come highly recommended. After having some work done elsewhere we needed more work on the suspension and wanted to find an honest shop so we wouldnt get price gouged. Al and the team went above and beyond with our car. They addressed every concern that we had and did not recommend work that wasnt needed. We had the struts replaced along with some general maintenance work/oil change. Hands down, this was the best experience Ive had at an auto shop. We were so happy with the quality of work, the customer service and communication. The car handles like new and we feel safe with our teen driver behind the wheel. The guys at A+ have earned a return customer - we will take our cars here for years to come.

A+ was in my neighborhood and AAA approved.We received a coupon for service, and the car was due. They were pleasant and emailed a detailed inspection report at which I optioned for some recommended work. There was no pressure and they completed the work that afternoon.

Ive been a customer for many years and a couple of cars. Ive never driven away feeling dissatisfied with the work, price or the way I was treated. Ive recommended them to my friends and will continue to do so.

I move around a lot for work and so am constantly looking for a solid mechanic; after my service today, I can say I’ve found that place here in Poway. I would say two things won me over:Customer service- They were very helpful over the phone and kept me in the loop throughout repairs/maintenance. Apparently rodents chewed through some wires under my hood which is common here, and they took the time to make recommendations for rodent prevention.Honesty- I received an inspection report for the whole vehicle, and they did not arbitrarily recommend replacing all of the fluids, etc. I have had some places recommend all maintenance under the Sun just because it was my first time with them and they did not have records, but A+ was honest about what they saw and only recommended necessary things.Good in my book.

This group of long-time employees are very knowledgeable and honest.They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, at the price quoted. For eight years they have serviced all my vehicles, and are the best auto shop I have used in fifty years.

The water pump needed replacing. This was discovered at my normal oil change. Thank goodness I wasnt far from home or my home mechanic. My cars design required an engine dismantling. A + Auto took care of that and helped me with a rental car. I appreciate the attention to detail and great service!

Alans team diagnosed and replaced faulty brake hardware that was installed incorrectly. I originally took my car to the dealership who could not duplicate or diagnose the issue. Alan had it fixed in a few hours and saved me roughly $1500 in parts and labor.

I was very impressed with their customer service. There sent me updates pictures of worn parts and found things that needed replaced I wasnt aware of. I would recommend A+ 100% of the time. Top notch for sure.

I am a loyal customer of A Plus Auto Care because their customer service is outstanding,The service/repair is done correctly and in a timely manner, and their specific knowledge of both of my vehicles makes me feel like I’m a valued customer.Just last week, because of a recall, I had to have the entire transmission replaced on my 2013 Nissan Altima. In addition to the transmission, the dealer presented me with a list of numerous maintenance items I needed to have done. I only take my cars to A+Auto Care, so my response was “ I’ll have my own mechanic do the work”. I took the car in this morning, got a courtesy shuttle back to my home, my car was done ahead of schedule, I was picked up and taken back to the shop by the courtesy shuttle, paid for and picked up my freshly washed car. Ahead of schedule and below the estimate. That’s why I only take my cars to A+Auto Care.

I called several mechanics in Poway when I needed my starter replaced. Many places were going to charge an arm and a leg for the labor. When I called A Plus Autocare their quoted price was definitely the lowest of them all. I was very impressed by how quick they called me back saying it was finished and the price was exactly what they said it would be. Alan was very friendly and even fixed a few minor problems my truck had for no additional cost. Next time I need a mechanic and am in Poway, I will definitely go to A Plus Autocare.

The best Ive been treated by any auto repair outfit. I showed up first thing on a Tuesday morning thinking Id made an appointment. Turns out I hadnt actually made one (my mistake) but they were still able to look at my vehicle right away. Repairs were done before lunchtime. The whole time, the staff were polite, welcoming, and enthusiastic about finding the problem and solving it. I am genuinely impressed and will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommended!

I expected something more i guess. The bill was on PAR with the dealership. I picked up my truck and found they used 46 miles on my distance until empty. My AVG. mpg went down .3. I have driven my truck for 6 months prior. Including a road trip to Vegas. AVG mpg didnt budge. Someone there hot lapped my truck. Im extremely disappointed and wont go back.

Our family has been going to this place since we moved to the area 8 years ago. We had never encountered such a professional and honest automotive repair shop. They always get the job done and provide different options. This last time we went, they could have taken advantage of us and suggested we make many repairs, but they recommended we retire our car (the repairs exceeded the value of the car). So glad I found this place! I was unhappy with the services and “care” that I received at the dealership where I usually take my car. I needed new brakes, new tires, and an alignment, and I had no idea where to go! I scoured yelp and found A+ Autocare. They took care of me like I was an old friend and were so sincere in their customer service and the repairs that I needed. When they finished, my car felt brand new again. I needed my brakes changed because they were screeching and vibrating the steering wheel. The call and appt setup were easy. They answered right away and I was able to drop my car off the next day.After I dropped off my car, they did a great job of contacting me on what needed to be done without any upsells and very reasonable pricing. They were done by the end of the day and I got my car out before closing.The brakes work great, no screeching and no vibrating steering wheel, and they even went that extra mile and added rotating and refilling the tires, and a car wash.The work even fixed my alignment because now the car drives straight instead of drifting right.Definitely reliable and trustworthy. No wonder why I keep seeing car with their license plate holders.

It should be renamed to D- Autodamage. The car ended up with more problems after they fixed it and even more problems after over-charging to fix the problems that I think that they caused. Very lousy.

Watch out for this place twice they forget to tighten the lug nuts for a customer of mine not a good thing.
