Brought a non-cellular phone device that had a faulty (intermittent) mini-USB connector. I asked if they could remove, clean and re-solder the connector, which they did with a TAT of less than 5 hours. The device works now and saved my project three weeks if I had to get a new one. Very pleased with the outcome.

My samsung phone was run over by our Chevy 3/4 ton pick up and we thought it was kaput! Yay. They fixed it quickly and its impossible to know it was damaged. Thank you.

My 2nd IPhone. Apple Store will say anything to sell you new IPhone. Very discouraging. Battery changed and cracked screen. Save me $$1500. Money I can use someplace else.

If I could give a negative review I would. I agreed to a price for replacement batteries for two phones, what they put it did not work...it died while using the GPS and it was plugged into the car! The owner charged an additional $120 to put batteries in that worked. He was rude, yelled at me, and blamed my settings for the issues, but for extra $ he was able to make it work. He also said he would did not guarantee that the replacement would work like the original, I can understand that, but it should not die while using the GPS and plugged in. Stay away from this place if you want a fair honest deal.

I would not recommend or return to this CPR location. The guy who helped me did not seem to be very knowledgeable or was just trying to get money out of me. I went in with a laptop that had some water damage and they informed me they could use special equipment to dry it off and then check for damage. They charged $80 just to do the drying process and then called the next day only to say the laptop still did not turn on. He said this could be because the battery is damaged so he said they could order another battery for $100 (way over priced) and then try to see it would turn on. But this is obviously able to be tested without ordering a $100 battery so I lost all faith in their knowledge or honesty. Not going to return.

I took 2 phones to have the screens repaired. They quoted me a price which I thought was high so they gave a discount. I said ‘great because I have several phones that will need to be repaired as I work at a company here in Poway’. They fixed the phones then told me I needed to pay more because they quoted 7 not the iPhone 8. I told them that is not ok and they should have called me before they did the repair because their price was high to start with! I would have never paid their high price as there is a place in RB that will do it for $40 less and still use apple parts!! When I picked them up I told them they were loosing a lot of business but they didn’t care...all over $44! DON’T USE THIS PLACE! THEY ARE SHADY AND DON’T HONOR THEIR QUOTES! Use the Genius Bar in RB!!!

Unfortunately after spending almost 200.00 to have my shattered glass repaired and a new battery installed on the late afternoon of March 22, 2021 there is a dbl line that runs down the center of my iPhone 7 Plus. The lines appeared Monday Evening. I went in today(Thursday March 25, 2021) to see if they would repair it. I was told that it is not covered under the warranty! Wow, are you kidding me! I didn’t have the time to come in Tuesday or Wednesday. I trusted taking my phone to a different location, even though I have have a very reliable repair place in Escondido. When I paid Monday I was told if there were any issues to let them know and this is the customer service you get from here. Sadly Poway is small and I like to shop local. Think twice before doing business here.

The guy had no clue what he said not responsable on date did nothing to my device and of course charge on front pay 87 for nothing such a bad store

My 70 year old mother went to CPR in Poway asking if they could install Microsoft Edge on a Chromebook (because she has some online courses at work that can only be completed in a Microsoft browser). They said yes, they would, for $80. She just went to pick up her Chromebook. They said Edge is not compatible with a Chromebook and they were unable to do it and THEY CHARGED HER THE FULL $80 ANYWAY. I live 1200 miles away, and knowing that local companies are ripping my non-technical senior citizen mother off is disappointing. So, they agree to work, dont do it, and charge full price. Way to go CPR. Elder fraud. Way to score good karma.

I had to get a new screen protector on my phone and he was able to do it in a timely fashion on a walk in.

I recently made a trip to CPR because I needed to replace my I-Phone screen and glass. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They initially told me it would take about 30-45 min but they called to let me know it was finished in 20 min! The glass was perfectly centered and smoothed out, which I can be quite particular about things. Overall, great experience. Will be working with them in future and would highly recommend anyone else who needs cell repairs or accessories.

So easy to schedule apps. Althougn walk-ins welcome. Needed part, came quicker than expected and phone looks brand new after puppy crushed my screen. Very pleasant gentleman, great work and turnaround time.

The price was less than my insurance deductible. They were fast and efficient. Same day service! They told me they were working on one phone already and would get to mine right after. I received a call within 2 hours of dropping it off to let me know my phone was ready.

I dropped off my phone to have the screen repaired to trade it in and was given the wrong phone when I picked it up! I had to call and and try to fix things. They never returned my call said they couldn’t retrieve my original phone and now I’m screwed for trade-in valise.

Cant recommend highly enough!! My iPhone wasnt charging and I was worried I would have to get a new phone. I did a Google search and found CPR Cell Phone Repair and was encouraged by all the great reviews. The website was really simple and straightforward. I filled in a form describing the problem and got a very quick repair estimate. I was able to book an appointment for later in the day. The repair itself took 45 minutes and cost under $60. Truly amazing service and very reasonable. In these days when were so dependent on technology, Im so grateful to have found these guys. If anything goes wrong with your phone, devices or laptops, this is the team to turn to!

The service was very good and I recommend them. I have an HTC 10 which is a very difficult phone to work on. They were able to replace the battery which is not easy to do. Unfortunately, there is an issue with loss of touch sensitivity of the topmost part of my screen now. I dont blame CPR for this problem, as most screens get broken or burned with the heat gun when trying to change the battery. I have been able to work around this issue so far. Overall, I am happy with the work they performed, even though the phone is not in perfect working order, I think it will be fine for another year, I hope. Having the battery replaced is much cheaper than buying a new phone. In retrospect, I think having the battery and screen replaced at the same time is the best bet for this type of phone. Easy to make an appointment online for the next morning. Tony was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. We ended up with an easy fix and were only charged for the purchase of a new cable. Will definitely make this business my go-to for phone issues. A+++

They put tempered glass on my phone and they did an excellent job..very happy.

They saved my phone after I shoved a SIM card into the port without the holder. I thought the phone was beyond hope but in less then an hour they saved. I would 110% recommend them and God forbid I need to fix my phone again I will be going to them first before thinking it’s a lost cause.

We went into the shop because of a phone that was dropped in water. The store clerk told us it was going to take about 5 hours to fix. After waiting for 8 hours and no updates, I called in to ask for the situation. The clerk reassured me that it will be done on the same day. Then, less than an hour before closing, he called back telling me that they had not gotten to it and must take more time because of a technician family emergency. This was a problem for us, as my family was leaving the country the very next day. When I explained this to the clerk, he proceeded to blame me for not telling him that it was an urgent order, even though he had promised it would be done on the same day.I understand that emergencies do happen, but had I been informed, I could have went to another repair shop and got it repaired. What happened was a blatant lack of respect on the stores part. Not only that, the clerk offered no apology for breaking his promise and wasting our time, and insisted that it was my fault. This unwillingness to take responsibility was very childish, yet even my 2 years old baby brother knows how to say sorry when he messed something up.But props to the clerk for having the courage to call me an annoying and difficult customer when we asked for a refund (which we did get, so thats an upside). This review might change if I ever go back again, but so far, youve earned the 1 star, friend.

Great service, my phone which I didnt even think was salvageable was fixed in under 2 hours. The price is also unbeatable all the other kiosks were 20-30$ more to fix the screen.

Amazing place! I had a cracked screen and I took it to a the same place in Phoenix Arizona when I was there for business. Once I was back in San Diego, I saw some death pixels and the screen was making squeaky noises. I took it to this branch and they helped me right away. I showed them my receipt and they changed my screen and put the screen protector that I had as well. This is screen has no death pixels and is amazing. AMAZING PEOPLE AND 5/5 in costumer services! I called this store to double check if they would be able to replace and they said again that they would be able to. So I decided to go in person, just to be told that no, they cant replace the screen on my phone. Cant recommend.

$290 for a basic screen repair and battery replacement. The battery was new, literally replaced days before going to get the screen fixed. An attempt at self repellent causing the screen to get damaged. So We sucked it up because we figured that it was better to get professionally fixed than try by ourselves. Learning our lesson. But it ended up taking twice as long as expected, and when we got it back, the screen want even solidly on. It was coming up at the edges. They hadnt replaced the glue. The touch screen now stutters, and without its case the screen threatens to come off. But because of the cost we cant go try some place else and dont want to go back.If you have access to other services, use it.

My iPhone battery got to the point where one day my phone wouldn’t turn on. I called CPR Poway for an estimate and dropped my phone off. While they were working on my phone, they encountered another problem where my screen wouldn’t turn on (just my luck!). I came back thinking my phone still wouldn’t work and if it did that I would be out a ton of money.I was wrong!! About both!! My phone worked and I only paid for the battery replacement!! The screen was replaced but at no cost to me!! I was soooo grateful that I literally had happy tears!! Thank you so much to CPR Poway!! You will forever be my go to place for all electronic repairs!!

Went in this morning to have my charge port replaced after having months of issues getting my iPhone 6s to charge. I had tried cleaning it myself but wasnt good enough. Went in expecting to not get my phone back for a few hours but the technician Ray said he hadnt had to replace a charge port for that reason and asked if he could inspect it under his microscope. He cleaned the port and was able to get it to charge. Said to come back in 15 min to be sure it was working. That did the trick. Left just paying for the labor. Appreciate Ray getting the issue identified and resolved so quickly. Ill be sure to mention CPR and Ray to my friends and family. Thank you!

Horrible service at exorbitant prices. The cell phone repair shop near Western Dental in Poway is half the price, faster service, and the final product is perfect.I payed 2x for a screen repair here, and ended up replacing the same screen (it was returned bad) and the mic (CPR caused) at a total cost of half of CPRs price at the aforementioned shop near Western Dental.

Great screen repair, everything is as it was before the screen cracked. Cannot visually determine it was replaced.

I dropped my iPhone 6S for screen replacement and screen was replaced very professionally using all appropriate tools in less than an hour. Technician did not rush to get it done quickly but instead went through all the recommended process to replace. Not only it was repaired but technicial also went through many check after repair to ensure that phone is working as it was. iPhone in now new. This store being new, owner gave me tour of back office where devices actually get repaired. I was amaze by how professional set up they have and how they handle repair. Technician also showed me couple of other phones they repaired and was shocked when showed me a phone which was dropped in ocean water and they were able to restore to its normal function. They arent reliable. We called and asked them if they had a certain product. They said that they did. When we showed up they didnt have it. So then we had to wait for them to order it. When it came in, we said what time we would be there for the tech to put it on our phone and when we showed up at the confirmed time, they had already sent a tech home. Even though we talked with them beforehand and let them know. Will never be back! Smh very poor service.

I have an S8 phone and the back camera lens was cracked. CPR did an outstanding job on fixing the problem and in a timely matter. Customer service very professional. If anyone needs repair on there phone or tablet CPR is the place.

Ravi and his technician were diligent and patient working thru the problem with my cell phone & explaining to me their thorough technical evaluation (could not be charged )... ended up with no new battery but the PMIC, I think, on motherboard was burnt out & charging portal damaged so replaced motherboard & portal & Im good to go (love my 5S!).Note the Apple Store rep at the front said ... without examining it... needed a new $270 battery. Way to Go CPR Powys!!!

They say lifetime warranty and then I called and told them taht the phone had already broken after a few weeks and say it isibt covered. Costumer service isibt very good (especially over the phone) and the screens are not durable at all for the price. GO TO ANITHER PLACE!!!! it is also very overpriced
