I’m in awe right now. The staff at this location always go above and beyond expectations to make their customers happy!! I moved to SD from Seattle about 2.5 years ago and needed to find a coffee place that served real coffee (sorry Starbucks). Began visiting this place religiously, about 6 days a week for all my coffee needs but ended up moving home about 2 months ago to help some family and just returned on Friday. Yesterday I visited the coffee bean in Carmel mountain and ordered my usual drink, only to get a watered down super heavily concentrated drink that I ended up tossing out and was super disappointed at. Today I visited my favorite coffee bean in poway and not only had my drink made to perfection, but the staff remembered me and my drink after so long and even wrote me a small note!!!! Seriously made my day. Could honestly go on for days about this location and the amazing services they provide. Thank you guys!!!! You rock.

Love the steamed tea lattes with oat milk like the vanilla Ceylon. Sooooo much better than Starbucks as you can take the tea and its creamy, not watery. The employees there are also very nice

Love Coffee Bean, our favorites are the Tropical Passion ices tea, iced Americano, and carmamel ice blended. They are always super friendly and we get our drinks really fast. I love the mobile order and pick up. Safety measures in place and always clean

Wonderful experience! Probably the best vanilla latte Ive ever had and my husband got a blended iced mocha which was also great (I stole a sip). The employees were super efficient, friendly and our order was out quickly. The seating area is super clean, welcoming and family-friendly. 5 stars!

Super Friendly staff had my order ready before even arriving; felt welcomed in; and was treated amazing! Was in and out quickly and even the drive through was extremely fast and efficient! Great attitudes all around and a clean interior!

Great Coffee Bean location! Drinks are always prompt and made right. The best thing about this particular location is the staff. Every time we come to this location, everyone is friendly, helpful and has a great attitude; Whitney made our night when we came in the other night.

Really good experience, I originally planned to order on the app to use the drive thru but the app wouldnt let me, so I went inside. The baristas were very friendly and fast, the inside was very clean and well kept, and the coffee was hot and delicious.Also the hand sanitizer despenser fell of the wall LOL. 10/10 couldnt have bean better.

I kept going here cause it was close. But I dont know how much more clear I can be about a splash of cream but everytime its like coffee flavored oat milk. 1 star seemed harsh, so I give two. Just a splash of a bad rating

You guys need to update your hours in Google and on the coffee bean app. You don’t close at 9 PM you close at 7 PM

This place is so good and fast. I almost dont want to post 5 stars so the dots keep going to Starbucks.

Service is just drive thru during Covid restrictions. I order mine through the app and just pick up at the pick up window using my name. They require face covering even at the drive thru. Im giving 5 stars because I like all the drinks I tried, prices are reasonable, and as I mentioned, I pre-order through the app, so I dont have to wait.

The manager Hayley is a nice person. I’ve rarely had mistakes and issues with this location. When it does occur there is a friendly manager who is male and other team members who can fix it. I’m simple and I order simple things. This is like the neighborhood coffee shop.

Im usually a Starbucks person, but I found that the hot caramel latte (caramel macchiato equivalent) and the dark chocolate blended are very tasty.

Matcha Latte with Oat milk..

I ordered a latte and asked for a cup of water. I got charged 25 cents for the water. Ive been here many times. Never coming back again.Unfortunately, your reply does not change my mind. I think cup usage is a poor excuse to nickel and dime your patrons. What should matter more is customer service and satisfaction.

I didnt hate it. Their food products are just pitiful. You can tell its frozen stuff, made with who knows what....I just wont spend my $$ there for food products. Same for Starbucks, their menu too has just gone to the doggies......☹

I stop at two Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf; one in Poway and the other in Carmel Mountain, SD. The Poway location is newer and more spacious which allows for working on your computer better. The Carmel Mountain has a delightfully large court yard to take your drink to relax or socialize. The service is quick and friendly at both locations. The Carmel Mountain has an exceptionally friendly crew and they know my tastes by heart.

Their coffee is really good. It has a nice smoky flavor to it unlike Starbucks, whose coffee tastes burnt and bitter. Their blended drinks are really good too.

Super sweet crew working here! And, of course, the brew is way better than Starbucks. A couple of vegan options for the breakfast sandwiches would make it 5 stars for me, but overall great place!

Finally decided to give this place a shot, I was very happy I did. I was able to get an iced coffee and a cheese danish that tasted wonderful.

The employees are always so friendly and they have yet to mess up any of my orders! ;-) Glad to have a CB in Poway!

Great place for a morning cappuccino, plus there are many other coffee and tea options. Staff is very friendly and attentive. WiFi available although a bit slow. Restrooms are clean and well stocked.

The quality of the drinks are about a 4, the quality of the workers are a 5, the quality of the shift manager Whitney is a 1. If Whitney is there you can expect to be screamed at, your need not met, and your order incorrect. If Whitney is there and you have an issue, you may as well go to Starbucks. At least then youll get the drink you ordered.

Havent been disappointed yet! Nice cashiers, they were willing to make a fave drink with less sugar. Usually the line moves pretty quick. Its also quite spacious in here, very chill atmo.

Best iced Chai tea late ever. Hand made unlike other places that comes out of a box. Take a bit longer but so worth it.

Baristas are so nice. Cafe is huge and almost never busy - there are always places to sit. Great place to hunker down and get work done for hours. Lots of wall outlets!

Really easy to go to, music can be a little loud sometimes, but no other complaints. Coffee is pretty good, but I think theyre known for their lattes and other drinks, kind of like Starbucks.

The staff is really nice and very knowledgable about what the drinks are for every season and it smells better then Starbucks. My only down side is when it comes to the holiday drinks, the peppermint is so faint, that i have to ask for a double shot of it. I also want to see more of the espresso creme since we would always come to the poway one for it every chance we got.

Quiet, not crowded, good (not bitter) coffee. Best selections of teas, and teas to purchase by the box, too. Convenient central location.

I give them 3 stars because their drinks are ok, but their customer service is very nice. All the ladies are always smiling.

Great staff. Hours posted here are incorrect for Saturday and Sunday. They open at 6 not 5:30And here it says they open at 5am, but dont open until 530. Driving to LA this morning and was so sad I couldnt get my fix! :(

I am a major fan of the Jasmine Dragon Tea Latte, but unfortunately I accidentally ordered the wrong drink on my recent visit to Coffee Bean. Luckily, the staff member was very kind and remade my drink! Kind baristas always made my day brighter 😊

If the customer a drink a specific way, the girl behind the bar should maybe try to pay attention. The cashier had already put out a cup with the amount of ice I wanted. The Barista took it upon herself to get aNother cup, fill it with ice and poured my drink into it. When I said something, another girl simply dumped the extra ice out, put the lid back on and handed it to me, an inch below the lid line. As well, by dumping the ice, the extra shot I paid for and most the flavor went too. Along with entirely too much of my 30min lunch break, from having to wait so long as it was. So I ended up with super milky and icy 32oz version of my drink instead of what I ordered (and paid $7 for), along with less than 10 min left of lunch and an upset stomach from the frstration. First and last time I come here. The customer is the one paying, girls, so please pay more attention.

This coffee and their pastry selection and quality is the worst. Coffee taste burnt and over extracted. When observing baristas they seem like they do not care about coffee and dont know what their doing.
