Some important info had vanished from.my laptop so I called to inquire about my options to retrieve it and/or determine how it went into cyberspace. The young man I spoke with was very patient as I explained the circumstances under which it was lost. I believe he gave me good advice and I will definitely use their services in the future.

Highly recommend Protech/Joey. Stopped in (1st visit) w/ my son and a gaming PC that we were having problems with. On the spot, he diagnosed the issue, rewired/assembled everything and got it working, all in ~45 min. He charged me fairly for parts and labor. He estimated that the time it would take the parts to ship in and to repair my laptop would be a little over five days, but it actually took even fewer. Im pretty circumspect of who works on my systems and the quality of their work. Joey at Protech is one of the top two PC and Laptop repair vendors Ive worked with in 24 yrs of being on the road. Joey was able to identify the laptop screen assembly issue down to the latch and ordered the necessary parts and perform a high integrity repair in a timely manner. I know, the issue I had could have easily been diagnosed as a screen replacement issue, but Joeys integrity wouldnt even allow that consideration: good for you, sir .. good for you.

Joey was absolutely awesome! My computer wasn’t working on my first build, so I brought it in to Protech to get it checked out. Not only did Joey figure out exactly what was wrong, he also ordered a whole new processor just to fix my computer, did a BIOS update on my motherboard and only charged me $20!!! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone with ANY computer problems!

This guy KNOWS what hes talking about! He only had my desktop overnight. Im sure it was because there were other customers in front of me. I was able to pick up the next morning. Great service and quick turn around. I will definitely return and will always refer.

Went in to see if they might have a screen for my friends phone, they didnt but the guy at the service desk went out of his way to call other places and found us a way to get it fixed without any cost to us!

Had a wonderful experience here. After having visited a number of sketchy, rude, overpriced computer repair shops that didnt get the job done, coming here was a huge relief.He explained all my computers problems in a straightforward, understandable way, and then also helped me understand the different repair options.He did such a thorough repair job he even found problems I forgot to mention, and then fixed them free of charge.Theyre very polite, and obviously know what theyre doing. I instantly felt like my computer was in good hands. I live in San Diego and the 30 minute drive is worth it. Ill be coming back here for all my future computer repairs.

A few miscommunication with the owner caused a delay in repairs. Then I called to see if it was done and was told yes so I said I would be over in a hour to pickup because he said he had to close shop in the afternoon to go to a job. I drove over when I said only to be greeted by a sign on the door back in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I called to see if he was back and hiding in the back of the shop. No answer so I sat out right in front of the shop and waited a total of 35 minutes for this shop to reopen during regular business hours. If he was going on this break he should have told me because I told him when I was coming. Luckily I was able to retrieve my computer and the issue was fixed. Obviously computer skills are there thus the 3 stars overall but business operation is a 1 star.
