Ive been shopping at Smart & Final since the 80s..Even shopped there when I lived in Rosarito, MX..Great place to buy bulk! Good prices and good service!

I bought a can of SouthGate Sketti Os here that Im pretty sure had something wrong with it. It was completely vile. I had one bite, retched, and had to throw it out.Employees are great, store is always well stocked and clean, bathrooms are pristine.

Terrible ability to keep inventory correct but other than that, great place and great options when available.

Smart and final is good for some things and not good for others. For instance they have a big selection but sometimes the first street brand is pretty bad. They always have a large selection of beer and wine but their selection of meat is not always the greatest. Depends on what youre looking for.

Great place, very friendly staff, always find what I need. And always great prices on beer.

I really like this location - the staff is SO friendly and the place is kept clean. But since this whole COVID thing started I have noticed the quality of their produce has degraded significantly. Each and every time I have purchased vegetables (i.e. red onions, daikon radish, avocados, etc), I come home to find that they have been compromised. Rather than going back to the store to make an issue, I just end up throwing everything into my compost pile (thats one very expensive compost). Please please please reconsider your sources for produce!

I usually have a great experience at Smart & Final Extra. I know what I want and they have it and I get it and I go! Also, along the way employees are always so helpful and friendly. This one star is totally only for my checker. I went to get the disposable coffee cups like I had bought before. A young man help me find the little shot glasses that I wanted too. I shopped around some more and I found myself in line at a Checker. It was only one lady ahead of me but at the end of her groceries she had two raw whole chickens that obviously had condensation all over. She was sliding both birds and getting chicken juice all over the conveyor belt and right on top of the glass laser window. It was disgusting. Even if it was just water, I truly believe the young lady should have stopped the flow of groceries gotten the spray bottle and some paper towels and cleaned up that last foot of conveyor belt and that whole glass window area. Thats what I would have done and Ive seen other grocery stores do the same previously. As soon as the girl was about to move on to my groceries I caught her and I said, excuse me can you not slide my food across the window because of the wetness please.? As I pass to the left to pay with my credit card she said, I know how to do my job. I said Im not telling you how to do your job, Im just asking as a courtesy will you please not set my of produce (5) on the wet spot. Then shed immediately went scan my third item .... then put my item in the wet spot and slid it over. I never shop on Saturdays at 2:20. Im a 8 a.m. during the week day shopper. She looked younger then the average cashier she looked about 28 years old straight black hair shoulder length. I think maybe she had bangs too. Stood a little on the shorter side. I was actually having an outstanding day and she put a downer on it. I just looked for my receipt and I cant find it. I think I would have normally stayed and pulled a manager to the side and spoke of what happened but I didnt want to continue the bad feelings she gave me at that moment. Long story longer, I quickly sanitized all my groceries with my wipes and the car. If not for this survey popping up on my phone I would have never told anyone. Remember, this 1 star is only for that young lady who was obviously not having a good day.

Its always clean and if you cant find something, they try to see if they have it. Most of the people that work here are nice. Ive gotten a few who arent nice or just get smart with you. Anyway, its a nice store overall.

Big fan. Their sales on produce beat Sprouts consistently. And the quality is always better. They have great markdowns for items close to the sell by date. Roasted chickens rival costco.

Has most things you need, i liked it better with more restaurant supplies.

Runs out of stuff all the time. Bread never lasts and goes bad within a week. Ive bought things that i didnt realize expired in the next two days. Things like ranch dressing. Cheese. Unbelievable.

Its always wonderful then you can always find what you need here

Cashiers name Jesus is not supposed be working in the front.I asked him a question about the price of eggs and he just looked and ignored my question and just told me the total price. No customer care or service.

Nice and clean stores. comparitively less expensive prices. always fresh stock is available. Not a very big store so easy to move around. very good parking.. its closest to joans and 99 cents for extra. shop lovers. Flowers, icecream, roasted chicken and bakery items are really worthy to try. pets are not allowed.. compare the products whicj has savings on it as most of the times it has. c.r.v, which falls for relatively same with no savings outside.. always has customers, so the lines will move little slower than expected..

My wife shops here all the time, but this time I escorted her and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and noticed there was no aisle hodgepodge or wingstacks with baby wingstacks sticking out throughout the aisles or thoroughfares. I spoke with a middleaged shopkeeper to ask him where I could find a certain item and be guided me to the correct area. I thanked him and said Here, here my good man. He made mention of my custom monacle and I bowed out, putting my Tophat back and my wife and I, along with our youngest daughter exited the establishment with our goods and drove home in our horseless carriage. I say, Good Day Sir.

The store itself is fine. Clean and convenient. They recently started accepting WIC but rarely have the approved products in stock. I gave them two chances and each time they were out of a different product. Why accept WIC if you dont care to keep the approved products on hand? Frustrating.
