I’m having to put air in one tire every other day, so something is obviously wrong with it. This place, though, couldn’t find anything. So they let me off for free, which I suppose is something. But again— I’m still expecting to have to drag out my air pump every other day for that one tire while the other three are fine. They just kind of shrugged at me when I tried to explain this. I get the feeling they didn’t care as it was the end of the day and they just wanted to get rid of me.Also, one of the workers used the “r” slur in the lobby. They also recommended over a grand in other services, but these guys couldn’t see any problems with a tire that loses ten lbs of air pressure in a day, and I have been ripped off by other car service centers before, so I think I’ll be shopping around.Edit: two days later, tire alert on my dashboard like clockwork! But since they said nothing was wrong with it, I guess I can just keep driving on it until it has a failure on the interstate and I have a terrible accident, huh? Cool.
I think I have a varying degree of an experience at Firestone. My 1st impressions were excellent! I worked closely with Chuck and he definitely set me up for success to get my air conditioning fixed on my Mazda CX7. While they ordered the parts it took about a week for the right one to show up and then get installed and completed. That was not an issue because they stayed in communication with me anytime they had a delay. I definitely saw this as incredibly professional and trustworthy.I got my car back and everything seemed to be fine.. I have started to notice a noise coming from the fan that was not there before. I have also started to notice a rattling noise that was also not there before that comes from either the engine Bay or somewhere at the bottom of the vehicle. There was also a piece of plastic that was not properly re installed.. It still currently is dangling from the front of my car as I have not had the proper fasteners to put it back. About a week after I had the car the top radiator hose came unhooked and all of my radiator fluid drained out. My car began overheating and I barely made it back to my house. After investigating what the cause was I noticed that the top radiator hose was reconnected but the clip was not placed back in its original location to keep the hose from sliding off.I did call Firestone back and I spoke to Chuck and let him know that occurred.. He did say if I can find a way to bring it to Firestone that he would try to help me out. Of course the car was not driving and I did not have fluid to put back into it right away but right away.Which is why I am giving them a 4 star rating. Although although I had so many issues and most likely will deal with secondary secondary even tertiary Problems with the car Firestone has remained professional and trustworthy from the beginning. I do hope that I can find some time to bring my car back so they can take a deep look to see if any additional damages have occurred..
I needed 4 new tires at the last minute, and Firestone Prattville took good care of me and my car. Even though it was almost closing time and they only had 2 tires in my size at the Prattville store, one of their Team Members drove to East Montgomery to get 2 more so I could have all of them on the same day. They stayed 30 minutes past closing time to finish the job.
Fast, Professional Service. Friendly polite & understanding crew.
They were a great help getting me what I needed
Very professional company from my experience, vehicle was completed to satisfaction in a timely manner.
Horrible. Charged for oil change and didnt change actually put oil on top of old. Traveling had car for 3days. Several bad experiences with Firestone now in many locations. Use someone else
I have 15 years of mechanical experience I do not have a tire balance machine so I was trying to give Firestone a shot I know that they close at 7:00 but there was only two vehicles in the shop with four guys on duty and they turn me away because they did not have enough time left in the day.Next time if they would at least explain why they did not have enough time and at the very least why would they not at least try to schedule an appointment with me but instead they just let me walk away.
Friendly people great work
Road emergency....my genesis was leaking oil around the oil filter and spraying all over the interstate. I googled shops in the prattville area and first went to another that couldnt help me for 4-5 hours so next stop was Firestone on Legends parkway. When i went in Lamorris was quick to say lets get it in a bay and had Marcus pull all the under covers off to see if a drain plug or oil filter issue. They took exceptional care of me and got me in and out quickly (while i ate pancakes at ihop next door). I appreciate their speed and care and it got us on our way to destin for vacation. My first google review but they did such a great job they need to be recognized for it.
Family and I had an awesome experience!! We were on our way down to Orange Beach for vacation when our truck started vibrating bad enough to hit the shoulder and take a look. We had a few wheel studs sheer off of driver side front wheel!! From the moment I called, Amanda was a Rockstar! They didnt have the studs in stock, but told me to try to limp it there, and shed be looking for the parts. I tightened the remaining lugs, and got it there. After many calls, she finally found the parts about 30 minutes down the road. They went to get the parts, had it racked, repaired (while we shopped and ate lunch in the nearby shopping center), and back on the road in a few hours! The pricing was reasonable, they didnt try to stick it to the out-of-town, desperate vacationers! A very big thank you to Amanda and the staff for helping us get back on the road!!
Wonderful service! Had a flat tire in the middle of an extended road trip and needed repair on a Sunday morning. They couldnt have been better fitting us in, getting us back on the highway, and charging an incredibly fair price also! Thank you so much!
We bring both our vehicles here every time for tires and service. They always call and ask if we need something that costs extra. Great staff here too!
I went bye Firestone to get my tires checked and they finish and said thats okay no charge thats customer service
Friendly, helpful staff that goes beyond to make your car safe and reliable
If you’re in a hurry, go somewhere else. Seems like everyone is on permanent break. Everyone sitting around, no one working. Truck is just on the rack with nothing being done. It doesn’t take over an hour to change a tire.
Great staff, good prices, and fast service.
I had an appointment at two, I was a little early. I have been here for about an hour and a half. They still haven’t touched my truck yet. Don’t know what their work will be like but I will rate it later.
Honest and reliable. Thanks guys.
We had a flat tire and pulled into Gray’s Tire. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were back on the road in less than 30 Minutes.. The staff is highly qualified and efficient. I would recommend them to everyone.
Wasted my time. Asked for an alignment today, I told them what I had and everything. Pull up to get an alignment done then they tell me they have too many people booked today that they couldn’t do it. Me working every day but Sunday I don’t have time to bring it by during the week. Drove an hour and wasted my time.
Was told to show up at 8 AM the next day as this was my only vehicle and I couldn’t leave it over night and that they were over for the day. That it probably wouldn’t be finished until noon the next day. I’m ok with this, not their fault they are busy. I can show up the next day and wait at the shop or surrounding restaurants. Then I get here the next morning to see a sign that says appointment only. So apparently the rules change over night here. Rolling around on a spare isn’t exactly safe either.
They have quality tires at good prices and quality support programs
Crew was nice and amazing service. Got my family and our old RV back to rolling smooth
This is a review of the online appointment system effectiveness.I made a same day appointment in the morning, for 2 p.m. I received an email stating the request was being processed. 3 hours later, just as I was about to pull up to the store for my appointment, I got a phone call. It was Firestone, saying my requested time was unavailable, and then offered to reschedule. There seems to be a clear break down between the appointment system online and the stores work load. It is unacceptable to be notified the last minute that my requested appointment is not available.
I won a free oil change from this Firestone store from the local LIONS CLUB. I made my appointment with the manager, Mr. Chuck Johnson. Upon completion of the oil change I was cheerfully presented with my bill, $0.00 and asked to remember them for future services. Great place to do business! Great service, good coffee, great atmosphere! Allen B.
Very knowledgeable and professional technicians.Quality workmanship
While traveling from Tennessee to Florida we encountered a major problem with our tires. Could not get any help from roadside assistance so we limped over to the Firestone Store here in Prattville....My problem was solved and our journey put back on track...Dennis went way beyond the call of duty to get us back on the road. This young man is an asset to this business, has the patience of a Saint and is truly upper management material and a star at customer service. Thanks again you have a friend here !
Be careful!! I have been using them for an extended period of time. But recently, my sister-in-law visited here and was told she needed over $900 worth of brake work on her 2010 Nissan. After visual inspection, the front brakes still had 75% worth of use left. The rear did need pads, but they wanted to replace drums, pads, and all! I say all this to say, if you are a single female or inexperienced in automotive issues, this is NOT the place for you. They will take you for all you got! But, otherwise nice place. It is clean and the coffee is pretty good. They are VERY slow and always packed. Use as a last resort.
Filled out an appointment online. Got to the store approximately 30 minutes before my “appointment”. Was told by the employee behind the counter that they couldn’t help me because they were booked solid until closing time. So apparently scheduling an appointment is a waste of time. By the way, I’ve had work done at this store several times before and this is the first time they’ve been too busy to help me.
The staff was very courteous. The service was prompt.
Great service and respectful people I give them 100%
Dont trust anyone but Firestone to take car of my 14 Ram 3500 Diesel. Brought her in for maintenance before a 1800 mile trip hauling my 5th wheel and expected a sizable bill, all good they said, all they did was change my oil. Very pleased. Outstanding job gentlemen!!
I went there around eleven oclock today and I was told it was a Two hour wait and got there at 1:40 and it was not ready..... they said it was going back as we spoke.... I then stated that I was going to take it bc you all told me that it was a Two hour wait....but why not give a courtesy call and say....I know that I told you a two hour wait but were running behind so I could determine if I wanted them to still do it or not.... and the manager was just as non shalant.... you wouldve thought he would have been of better service or at least try to make up for the lousy service that was being delt....not going there any more....
Simply went to get two tires changed, but they didn’t put air in my front right tire before I left and they didn’t tighten down any of my lug nuts on the front left. Didn’t find that out until half of my lugnuts decided to part ways with the car and the car started vibrating uncontrollably through corners. I am fine waiting 3 hours to get a job done if it is done correctly and thoroughly, but sadly neither of those things were accomplished at this establishment.
Went there to help a lady & her kids out when their car had issues while traveling & the young man behind the counter was so nice & helpful. He really took care of her & we found out later that she was able to make it to Atlanta without any more problems. Thank you Firestone for choosing kindness & empathy over a large bill, pushy sales tactics, & big profit. Wish I could remember the name of the nice young man behind the counter because he deserves a raise for his great customer service!
Waiting area was clean. Staff was professional. Got tires for a fair price. Would come back again in the future.
I refuse to go anywhere else other than this Firestone location for car service. I actually live in Montgomery but get all of the work my car needs done here. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and I rarely have too long of a wait.
I was walking in as a technician was walking in and he greeted me and opened the door for me. I believe his name was Joe. I was immediately greeted by the sales advisor Dennis. He was still assisting another customer but acknowledged my entrance and told me he would be with me shortly. He got me in the system very quickly. I was only gone from the store 20 minutes when I received a call from the technician Joe who explained what I needed to have done and the total cost. When I came to pick up my car that afternoon I was out of the store within 5 minutes. Great experience!
Good place to take your vehicle to be worked. Great staff. I like it because you can see your car being worked on and know the job is getting done. Unlike other place where they take your car and you cant see if they really do the work. Like rotating your tires.
Over pricedDont take no for an answer.
We came off the highway with 500 miles to go and a loose heat shield making a lot of noise. The store manager and the other guys here were great. They got our car on the rack right away and quickly fixed the problem. Fast, friendly, honest, and didnt charge us much. Its nice to know there are people like this in the auto repair business!
Really helpful staff. They diligently searched for the tires I needed. The ones I originally wanted were not available, Dennis searched until he found tires for me and they were on sale.
They’re always nice. I get my tires from there and the oil changes are the cheapest in town. You need to make an appointment if you can’t wait a few hours though because they are always busy
Firestone was a great experience
Been here since 10 am.. Was informed that it would take an hour and a half to do my alignment.. So I left came back two hours later.. They havent even moved my car from its original parking spot... They said give them a little while.. I went to get something to eat.. Came back still havent touched my car... Finally after them realizing I was a bit upset they pull my car around back.. But oh no there pizza for delivered so they stop and go eat.. It is now after 2pm so 4 and a half hours later I am still waiting on a 10 min alignment.. I suggest anyone wanting an alignment to go somewhere else bc they clearly have no care in the world for the customers here.. If I could Id rate below 0
They fixed my tire in a days notice. They were very nice, knowledgeable, and informative. I will be coming back and would definitely recommend.
Great service
Very unprofessional! First they misplaced my truck keys. Then I call up there and ask why has my wife been waiting on truck for 2 and a half hours for a standard oil change. The reply I got was sir its been a busy day. I said I understand that but 2 and a half hrs for a oil change! I will NOT be back!
Very kind and Amazing Mechanics. Oil Change, tire rotation, air filter, backup lights done in one hour without an appointment.
I went spur of the moment for a nearly flat tire. They fixed my tire in no time and since they had a special going at that time I went ahead and got my oil changed. The employees were very kind, friendly, and helpful. I was in and out in no time. Plus its close to many stores if you want to pass the time shopping.
Have bent over backwards to assist me with tires (even at late hours) and ALWAYS making me feel appreciated! Very caring staff, that I can vouch for since they have opened- TOP quality work, whether it be a front-end alignment or new tires. Wouldnt go anywhere else!
They had my Starter on hand. Referred a Tow Company, they use. Did the repair work, in a reasonable time. Id have no problem using them again.
Really friendly guys! I dropped my car off and walked to work and they were great. I paid over the phone and walked back over to get my car, keys exactly where I asked them to be left.
This place was awesome. We had great service and they were fast! The lady working inside even helped keep my toddler entertained.
Was kind enough to stay open later to patch my tire, highly recommend!! Chuck and his team are excellent.
My appointment didn’t matter. It still took over two hours to change one tire, that was readily available in stock. The tech made it very clear, while staring at his cell phone, that my appointment was an inconvenience to his work day. At that point, I should have left the store. Not doing so is my fault. The initial over-the-phone service was great, but the in-store service was lacking.
Love this place. Service is always good. Also I love Firestone tires!
Tire trouble coming home from vacation. Cody worked us in and got us back on the road quickly. Thanks Firestone!
They quoted me a pretty high price for brakes on my last visit so I decided to do them myself this time and save a few bucks. This location was the last to do my brakes and they put the caliber bolts back on so tight I couldn’t get them broke loose. So against better judgment I decided to take my OEM parts to them and let them do the brakes since they put bolts on so tight I couldn’t get them off. I spoke to the MGR DENNIS and he said they couldn’t put on my parts that I got from the same parts store they order theirs from. This was the last incident with Firestone. Every time I bring my personal or Fleet vehicle in there seems to always be some kind of an issue. This location is constantly braking wheel studs or not tightening the oil filter or drain plug bolt. Done with Firestone across the country. I’d rather pay twice the money than deal with the unprofessional staff.
Came in for routine maintenance and some repairs. A hidden wire got knocked loose in the process and my transmission started having issues. Joe noticed the side effects right away and let me know. It was almost closing time, so they offered to keep it overnight and he got right on it the next day to find the problem and fix it. A lot of places would have shrugged it off and sent me to a transmission shop on my own dime. Not this crew! Reliable, trustworthy service!
Get there between 7-8am if you dont want to be waiting all day. However, the service is good. You also may want to Google how to reset your Maintenance Required light because they probably wont do it for you.
Enjoy going to Firestone but specific does not provide you an inspection sheet regarding my battery, fluids, and other items they are suppose to inspect. Been going to Firestone for the past 6 yrs or so and this is the first one that doesnt provide that document.
Every time I get something done there(HIGH $$$), my car comes back with something else missing/broke/or worse then it was! Love firestone but this particular location has gotten BAD
I went here a while back because the ABS light was on in my car. Instead of fixing the ABS sensor, they changed the brakes and charged me over $400 dollars. I also had a coupon, but the guy didnt take it and said he had already taken more money off than the coupon was worth. Today, I had my friend who is a mechanic run a scan of my car, found out which sensor was causing the issue, bought the sensor for $40, and fixed my car myself. I went to them specifically for the ABS sensor, but instead they decided to give me something I didnt need. After, I told them my ABS sensor was still broken, but they acted like they didnt care. I wouldnt trust them with my car again.
Great customer service. SATISFIED
Great service everytime I go. The one in Prattville and on Atlanta Highway...
Good service. Good workmanship. Usually a fair price (sometimes negotiable).
This seriously is the slowest tire shop I have ever seen. Would not recommend using them unless you have a day to blow.
Just oil change with balance and rotate the tires in 30 mins... Great pit stop!
Top Notch customer support
Stopped there after check engine light came on in my car a 2011 Volvo. They got to it quickly and were very helpful. I will be back.
Had a flat. They fixed it promptly with a smile. Will use them again.
Excellent service. Great prices. People who know what theyre doing.
Wonderful employees, very knowledgeable, they do great work and have good tire products and prices
Was fast and friendly !!
Very friendly service and extremely fast!
Been using for service on my families 3 cars for past year and all has been good. Work performed on time and pressure for extra sales.
Took a little longer than I expected but as always great customer service!
Don’t answer the phone and when serviced half the time don’t know what’s wrong
Used them many times but this was the worst experience I have ever had.
Performed the work quickly and at a reasonable price.
Fast service and pointing out coupons made my visit a good one.
Had a problem with my plastic undercarriage panel coming off, all the plastic pegs holding it to the chassis broke. They pushed my car right in and fixed it, no charge. Very pleasant staff. Thank you guys!
Very polite and professional. The only place I take my car.
Always helpful. Always looks for specials and coupons for me. They get my car done as soon as they can... Always working, never see them just hanging out doing nothing. I have been to other firestone locations and none compare to prattville. Worst by far is the one in eastchase in Montgomery will NEVER go back to that one!!
Because good customer service and most of all this is the way i pay my bills
Nice staff. Very professional.
Love this place I can always find a coupon and the staff is friendly
I am disappointed with this store as well as this company. I dont recommend Firestone to anyone. I will say that the staff at this location was very nice.
Periodic car maintenance well done.
Went to have my tires aligned because the car pulls hard to the right. Paid $$$ but there was no change in the pulling. They said I needed something on the left rear that made it pull right. That is confirmed to be wrong. They did give me a refund though. Wont be going back.
Great service, excellent prices, and always honest!
Had a quick stop there and needed help, I received more than I expected, friendly service and the help I needed
So i had a flat tire 1 block from my home, my husband put the spare on my car, because the treads were wore down he told me i needed to go get new tires put on my 2014 chevy malibu lt, being sunday the only place open was firestone in prattville, Wal-Mart didnt have my size car tire instock and I cant wait until during the week riding on a spare with a 2 yr old and 4 month old in the car with me. The woman ( inside register worker)was very nice, but i have been here now for 2 hrs and my car is still not fixed with new tires, they believe in stopping everything for pizza, making the customers wait longer, its not like its 12 pm, its now 3:30pm( i came in around 1:30pm, they dont take anyone after 3:30 apparantly on sundays ) and they close at 5pm. The lady that works inside also had her 4 kids there and they were running wild inside the building ( not professional at all ). The phones have been ringing but no one is inside to answer the call. Its extremely frustrating when you are pressed on time. I probably will not be back unless its another emergency and the only place open. Positive is that they have reasonably priced tires.
Great service...friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Going to toss in the atlanta hwy location as well.these two firestones dont have the techs to set camber or caster on a vehicle.all they know how to do is set toe.prattville messed up my so called alignment.so i took it to montgomery firestone on atlanta hwy and they couldnt get it right.but, montgomery did rebalance tires and set toe that prattville couldnt get right.my vehicle still needs the camber and caster set.beware folks.if your vehicle has camber and caster adjustments, this is not the place to take it.
Amanda and Eric and David were awsome
My wife took her Toyota to this Firestone to have a left front tire repaired. It was near closing (around 6 pm) and apparently the technician sensed her urgency and concern in getting the tire repaired. After inspecting the tire he informed her that the tire is un-repairable - un-repairable and that he couldnt fix it. He then sold her two new tires with mounting/balancing it came to just over $327 - but with a money back guarantee. He then mounted the new tires on the rear of the vehicle. When did this become the norm putting the bad/old tires on the front of a front wheel drive vehicle? It turns out that the old tires were under warranty at Sears, so the next day my wife took the old tires luckily she had asked for from Firestone and the Sears technician inspected the tire, and fixed it for FREE. Including mounting/balancing and putting the old tires back on the car.My wife promptly returned the tires to Firestone one day after purchasing them and had to argue with them over reimbursing her for the full fee. Apparently Firestone wanted to charge her for the mounting/balancing for the two tires she didnt need in the first place. After this story; you decide. I would rate this place as questionable based on her experience but Google doesnt provide this option.Like an idiot I decided to drop my vehicle off at this place for a noise in the back of the vehicle . . near the rear differential. The technician took the vehicle for a drive and said he heard the noise and assured me that hed take care of it. I later received a phone call and they said that the work would cost me $1109! When I picked up the vehicle and drove it off the lot - - - it was making the same noise it did when I dropped it off there and this is after the $1109 in repairs to the FRONT of my vehicle. Of course they offered to replace the battery and air filter on my vehicle at additional cost . . . routine maintenance that most people can do themselves.I later googled the noise in my vehicles rear differential and learned that it was simply a matter of replacing the Honda certified dual pump rear differential fluid at a cost of around $30.Perhaps this is just a coincidence regarding my wifes tires or repairs to my vehicle. Or perhaps this is unnecessary repairs in order to boost the bottom line of this retail auto care business?I guess the old fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me applies to this place. I would say use caution when deciding to get your vehicle repaired here.
Mixed reviews for this store. I used these guys and other Firestone stores for several years. They had been fair, nice, and had the best price on oil changes in town. Then something happened that led to me leaving Firestone and moving my vehicles to Gipsons.I had just gotten back from a trip to Atlanta and I heard a slight rubbing/scraping sound from my car on the interstate. I brought it in to this Firestone and after 55 minutes, they said it could be a few things:A) I would need new tiresB) I would need to replace the front rotorsC) Could be something with the suspensionI am not a car guy at all, but they gave me a quote for $1400 to fix all 3 and told me that they wouldnt know what the problem was intil they were finished.I shopped around, and Gipsons found a peice of plastic had broken off the front of the car and was causing the noise as the wind rushed past it.They didnt charge me to remove it, I gave the mechanic $20.I look at this as: Firestone almost cost me $1400.00 to do things that really had nothing to do with the real problem. I learned my lesson quick... Goodbye Firestone.
