We were in need of a generator after a big storm and looking at the possibility of being out of power for several days. Russell was the only place that still had them and we were glad to get a good quality one at a good price. They were super helpful. I plan to come back to shop them first next time. They even unboxed it and added the wheel assembly for us! So nice!

Staff was helpful but the grout I purchased was old and very dry (had to discard the top layer of grout from the container).

I had made a purchase at Alex City Russell center and tried to return it to the Prattville store but the store manager said they don’t refund on items they don’t carry at that store. So the only time I will return to a Russell Do it Center is to return that item to the Alex City store. Never had this problem with Lowe’s or Home Depot.

Rented a sander so I could redo my hard wood floors . Great experience. Staff was friendly. They also have complimentary popcorn which was nice sense I had the kiddos with me. They had some nice sales going as well.

Best customer service in town. Every employee cares about the store, and that shows. Great popcorn, and they always have what I need for the house, unlike the big stores, you can buy single nut/bolt, or in bulk. Nostalgic fountains and decorations for the yard, as well as functional tools and yard maintenance.

Not a helpful or friendly place. Walk through store looking right by employees and not offered help. No smile or thank you from casher. Its well stocked with lots to look at but Ill go elsewhere in the future.

I have to say, the folks were very polite on the phone, but my experience was not helpful and also a little annoying. I called to ask if they carry band-saw blades. I was put on hold for a couple of minutes, then she came back to ask me to repeat what I was looking for. Told her again, and 3-4 minutes later, someone else picked up and asked me if I was being helped. I said, Yes maam, and got put on hold again. A minute or so later, the person I first spoke to asked if someone had helped me. When I said, Not yet, she said, I dont know why they didnt pick up. Got put on hold again. A guy picked up a minute or so later, and asked for details on what I was looking for. On hold, again. Couple of minutes later, another guy picks up, asks me the same questions, pauses and says, We dont have that. Long story short, if your employees dont know what you are selling, they probably shouldnt be answering your phone.

The staff is very helpful and a great place to do business with. They also support local businesses and if you shop there dont forget to get some local Southern Sweet Bee Honey and Scented Candles.

Nice customer service, they didnt have sulfur for snakes, but had other products. So I didnt purchase anything. The store was neat and clean.

David, my part time employee, had to stop there for a certain tool, and within 2 minutes 1st employee that comes at us, seriously, said what do you want and keeps walking away. Before we left, 10 mins., in all, at least 5 diffrent employees were so invasive it almost had me unable to recall the reason we were there in 1st place.Will not be a customer there anymore if posdible

Very poor customer services I made three trip to this store and they gave me wrong product. I call before going to store and ask them to go check if they had product I need, they said yes come get it . I used this store 3yrs ago because builder said so and I did for project at church. We order number 1 wood for ceiling they sent number 2 and builder started installing it. I would not recommend this store to anybody. It’s best to shop at Homedepot or Lowes. If you are wrong please make it right for customers.....attitude ruin business.

I have been using this store for several years and plan on using it many ore to come. Why? Because it keeps getting better. Everyday you can see improved customer relations, service, product knowledge, and an over all feel that the store is growing to meet the customer needs. Before, it was a store that you went in because it was convenient. Now!! I choose to go there over Lowes and Home Depot because of the people who work there. They worked with me looking for the right solution to my problem. This was one time I could not find what I needed. Jeanie help me for an hour but no solution this time on my needs. They work to help you.

We go at least once a month. They have a military discount. They rent out garden equiptment AND tables, chairs, etc for parties. Every staff member is knowledgeable and they have specialists for every department. If they dont have what you need, they will give you an honest answer about where to find it. They also reccomend local plumbers, electritions, contractors, etc. They gain nothing but trust from those referrals. We have never been sorry. I cannot lift more than 10 pounds and they have no issue with carrying a out anything heavier than a screwdriver! Great alternative to the big box stores.
