Very poor customer service on my kx 85 its been sitting here for 2 1/2 weeks and nick the service rep. Doesnt even care about the job done on my bike. Asked for an oil change 2 new tires air filter that was ordered almost 3 weeks ago. Oil change wasnt done the tire was just sitting in store and said cant do oil change cause have to warm up bike thats been sitting there for about 3 weeks His demeanor is very poor and doesnt really care from his expression on his face. Told him im never coming back and he says ok we will cancel air filter delivery and snickered about it. Just dont know how he has a job must know someone

We put a deposit on a Honda Talon 4 months ago with Star Island, and had a written buyers order. Since that time the dealership was purchased by GO AZ. The Talon finally arrived and GO AZ would not honor the sales price. They were going to charge us over $2200.00 more. They super inflated the freight and builder prep fees. I called 3 different dealerships and the out the door price was $2000 to $3000 less then what they were charging us. The official Honda website shows freight charges, GO AZ almost double it. They OVERCHARGE! Although we will have to wait for another Talon, we won’t be taken advantage of.

I went in with money to buy a side by side. The salesman was nice enough but clearly a novice. He showed me what he thought was the best for me and my wife and when I was ready to buy that day he said the owners wouldn’t let him sell anything that we saw. He suggested going to another dealer. I was a motorcycle dealer for over 30 years in Ca. I have never seen such a process in my life. I called two other dealers and made a deal over the phone for a good price and they are delivering it to my home. I wish I could have purchased from my local dealer but they would not let me. It makes one wonder.

My seven year old daughter and I stopped by to look at helmet for her. We were looking threw their inventory when from across the showroom floor Dave asked if we needed help. It was great that he noticed us. We gladly excepted his help. Dave was great, the best thing was that he engaged with my daughter and included her in the process. He was genuine aged knowledgeable. With Daves help we found the perfect helmet to satisfy or needs. Thanks Dave we will see you again soon.

Just spent 700 dollars on 1000 hr service. 200 was new drive belt. The battery was never touched as promised and I can barely shift because the linkage hangs up. I would expect better for that kind off money.

In the last year we had about 15 motorized vehicles had to have work on many of them and I will just like to say that every single time Ive been to Star Island Motorsports Ive been very happy with three of the times that I went went to Sunburst Motors and they have one of my bikes for more than a year and still never got it fixed yet they offered to buy it and did I will never go back to their again and Outdoor Sports they say there are six to eight weeks out anytime you want to get something worked on and parts are so much more expensive I got a set of tires for one of our street bikes at Star Island mounted and balanced for $30 less than what outdoor Motorsports wanted to charge me just for the tires and then they wanted to add another hundred and sixty for mounting outdoor Motorsports is way overpriced I will never go back to their for anyting they charged me more than $200 for a set of handlebars that I wish now that I had bought from them because everywhere else I can get them for a hundred and forty I will never go back to outdoor sports for anything after I get my handlebars dont waste any time trust me just go straight to Star Island Motorsports and stay away from sunburst they are a joke

I was actually nearly finished with the process of buying a quad from another dealer when that same dealer called me and informed me that someone else had just put a deposit on the same quad that I had been working on buying for two days. My loan was already approved and the salesman had actually told me that I could come sign the paperwork and pick it up only to call me back 20 minutes later and tell me that It was sold to someone else. The dealer offered to find another but I was so furious I didn’t want anything to do with them.My experience with Star Island Motorsports was the exact opposite. When I found out they had the quad I wanted I told them that I would come pick it up the next day. The owner was actually the individual who took my call. He provided me with all the price numbers upfront so there were no surprises and everything was on the level.When I arrived at the store everything was nearly ready for me to sign. The process was super convenient and painless and the owner came up to introduce himself to me and thanked me for my business. The owner and staff seemed like genuinely nice people. If every dealer experience was like this people wouldn’t hate dealing with salesmen so much.

LOL I was immediately impressed with how spotlessly clean and well maintained this place was. Top notch. That tells you something about a place. I must apologize I was harsh I realize the mechanic by accident broke my brake cylinder I also realize the mistake on my bill but if you got the Bill you would have flipped out to however we must learn to forgive my 2016 victory Vegas 8 ball they dont make anymore so I am very protective of my bike good job on the seals oil change and fixing the problem it was so nice to ride today I had so much fun I look forward to seeing you guys again

Shout out to Dave who went over and above to help me find a quirky part for our Polaris RZR. The part I needed had been discontinued because of the age of our machine, but Dave went through a lot of effort to find an alternative replacement. Even though the part was not that essential and was an inexpensive piece, Dave treated me with exceptional customer service and was committed to helping me find a resolution.Star Island Motorsports is a great place to shop and the team is never pushy. My wife, daughter and her friend stopped by to compare a Polaris RZR and Can-Am a few weeks back. Adam helped us out and he was great! He let us test drive both vehicles to see which one we liked best and we ended up buying the RZR a week later. We live in Scottsdale and had a hard time finding one in the valley to fit our family, and Adam was great throughout the whole process in answering our questions. We love the RZR and appreciated Adam. I highly recommend this place and the people who work here.

We dropped off our UTV for a recall notice and to do maintenance work. They discovered a problem with a sensor and alerted us to it. The covid hit us and we couldnt get there to pick it up. Nick kept telling me no problem, you can leave it here. Finally 3 1/2 weeks later, we were able to pick it up. Such a friendly group!

Great help every time I need help with parts of just understanding how to work on something.Listen to the Techs and ask them what they would and wouldnt buy. I know that they have had turn over but what place doesnt have that currently.Had a tire pop while parked in my driveway very odd. They fixed the tire at no cost. Great service.

Very good selection inside, but we went there and spent 10 minutes walking around the front, followed by another 10 minutes at least wandering around inside. We were the only customers in there and not a single employee bothered to come up and ask how we were or if they could help us at all. EDIT: After constant battery issues, I contacted the battery manufacturer and my battery was made in 2009... When I bought the bike, the battery was dead and the dealership told me they put a NEW Battery in it which was a lie. Because of this, my display no longer displays the mileage which seems to be a somewhat common issue with these ducatis. The only way to get my mileage to appear is to take it 2hours away to a ducati dealer and pay for them to unlock the milage. STAR ISLAND MOTERSPORT IS A JOKE.I purchased a motorcycle in May. After wondering where my plates were (over two months), I contacted the mvd to find out it was put under a misspelling (two letters three keys away) of my last name. Mvd says it was the dealers mistake and the dealer claims its the mvd... Well, almost five months later after the dealer supposedly fixing it, its still not fixed. Im absolutely fuming over this MASSIVE ERROR by the dealer. (my temp plate has the misspelling which is done at the dealer, not the mvd). Im looking to move on and sell the bike but I DONT HAVE MY TITLE BECAUSE OF THE SAME ERROR. I dont write reviews but after the numerous bad experiences ( yes, this is not the only bad experience at the dealer/ service) this requires a review. Save yourself the massive headaches if your in the market/service for anything they offer.Update: my last name has been fixed but they had the wrong address. I told multiple people at least 15 times its unit A1 not unit A. Now I have to pay to have my plates and title sent out to me.

Service overall good but did have an issue. I asked put new Bridgestone tire on. They went out way to install in my need of time. I left feeling good without inspecting. Later I had to install new backtire while in Phx. They found my previous tire was not a Bridgestone and that what Star Island installed was not compatible with my bike. Went back to Star and it appears they will make it good. Mistakes happen but I was told they were a dealer for my make of bike and expected more. Creating much time and trouble due to their mistake. Still service manager has been extremely kind.

Starting at the beginning. We were there looking to purchase a UTV, after taking our time looking at the vehicles we were interested in for about 5 minutes we were greeted by Adam, he gave ample time prior to approachingus to look without being pushy. Thanks for not attacking the customers like a pack of sharks. As for Adam, what a respectful and knowledgeable young man, he answered all of our questions and gave us a deal that was very fair. The vehicle itself is a blast and the trailer we purchased is high quality not like a box store trailer. No need to travel out of town to find a great deal or dealer. Star Island excels in every category. We purchased our new Polaris from them and everything and everyone was knowledgeable, patient, helpful and courteous. We got what we considered a very fair deal and Scott Walz even went above and beyond to make us happy. We are very happy with our purchase! The parts dept is great and has a great inventory. Walked in with a Honda M/C front wheel and its flat Tire Saturday at 3:00. Nick in the Service Department inspected the wheel, the flat and cracked 11 year old tire, tube, etc. I was back on the road as good as new in less than 1 hour! Just want to say I got a brand new 2020 drit bike from them and I have only had it for about 2 months and it lockup why I went to leave my yard so whent up there after work to talk to them about it and ask if it was warranty and I was told yes thereeen that asked me if I had it with me I said no then they said how fast could I get it to them I said I can have it there in 30 minutes they said ok so I had my friend bring it up to star island when he got there that took it straight into the shop and just started working on it then 5 days later they tell me that its not warranty and I never signed any thing for them to tear my bike apart and cris was just trying to get money out of me and said he can order me after market parts because they are cheaper ( after market parts are not cheaper ) and that he needs to look up how long it takes to do the job he said it is a 12 hour job at a 180.0 and they all ready took my bike all a part and all so didnt care about anything than trying to say its Suzuki fallt when it was there felt u should never tell someone that there bike is warranty and then tear into it and then say after 5 days later that it has no warranty took my bike all a part and now I have no bike and not only that its even worse than so dont buy anything from them cris is a money hungry pig

I was on the second day of a 10 day motorcycle trip when I picked up an Allen wrench in my rear tire on my BMW R1200RT coming in from Congress. The damage was not reparable.Time was critical for me as I had to get to Eagar before nightfall.Everyone, from parts to service, was great! The parts guy found the perfect tire and the service manager squeezed the job in between other jobs and had me on my way pretty quickly.I dealt mostly with Terra (who was the one who rolled the completed wheel back out of service for me), but everyone I talked to was wonderful and genuinely concerned about seeing me back on the road.A heartfelt thanks to all of you and I wish Id paid more attention to names.

Wow part dept will tell ya they’ve got it but they don’t.....ask for a specific (really specific) part for my bike, they said they had it, drove 2 hours to get it got there and “oh you want that..........ya we don’t have that” SMFH not even apologetic horrible service wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.......EDIT to respond to the comment below Defiantly not a communication error I told your service clerk exactly the bike i had and exactly the part i needed and installed. He explained he had a rim strip I again explained no thats not what I need put on hold few minutes later was told that you indeed had what I needed and that i could be installed today. So i drove 2 hours to be shown exactly what i explained i didnt need twice. Then told by a manager that since i added a tubeless system to my bike theres no way they could have known what I needed. I explained that this is a KTM factory tubeless system to which i was told to go talk to the parts Dept. Thats not a miss communication thats poor training and poor service sorry to say

This business is very disorganized and poorly managed. They don’t have a computerized system to keep track of orders or for the departments to communicate. I went into the store to order parts for my Ranger and it took 45 minutes for the person to figure out the right parts and order them. Then I had to wait in the service department to schedule my serice. They told me that I couldn’t bring my ranger in to have the parts installed until all the parts had all arrived. I repeatedly called the store the following week but no one could tell me if the parts had arrived. I finally went into the store and it took the person in the parts department over an hour to find all my parts. There were 4 other people waiting in line, grumbling and complaining while they waited for him to find my parts. This was Friday and they promised they would have the parts installed by Saturday. By the following Wednesday they still weren’t finished. I picked up my ranger and parts and had another dealership install them. I won’t ever do business again with Star Island.

The service guys are pretty cool. Ive met the owner and had warranty work done there before. Over all a pretty good experience. My last visit I got some tires put on my wheels i brought in. They used so much tire lube it was spewing out onto the tread for 2 days. I had to wash my tires a few times. Even after washing and riding a few additional days the lube was all over my sidewalls. I guess this wouldnt be bad if I rode in a straight line but these were sportbike tires and we like corners. I still like the shop but all my friends get tires mounted elsewhere and there is never an issue. I have a friend that goes trough 3 sets a month and doesnt have this problem with other places.All in all. Dont use so much lube!

Third time wasnt the charm here.First time I went here I took my Ranger in for a basic service, everything was done correctly and all was well.Second time I took it in to have the carrier bearing replaced after it fell apart on a ride. This was explained on the phone making the appointment and again in person at drop off. Couple days later I got a call to say it was ready for pickup and that the tech tightened up the wheel hubs. When questioned about the carrier bearing I was put on hold while the service advisor checked with the tech. (Mind you the carrier bearing was in 2 peices out of the mount and hanging off the drive shaft, anything over 2mph made a terrible noise and all this was explained to the service department twice.) I was then told to give them a couple more hours and they would get it repaired since they had a new carrier bearing on hand. Ok, everyone makes mistakes.Third time took it in for a 100hr service and was quoted $400+/-. Got the call to come pick it up today, asked for the total....$680!! I asked what happened to the $400 and was told they replaced the drive belt when I questioned them why since they had changed the belt at the last service I was put on hold while the advisor talked to the technician. Turns out they didnt replace the belt and the total was changed to $460. At pickup I brought this up and received 5% off the total. Cool. Then there were a couple more issues that resulted in me asking to talk to the owner, at this point they had already lost any future business with me. After waiting the service advisor came back out alone and offered to replace the belt for free which took less than 2 mins but cost $140?Moral of the story, should you decide to go here for service at the very least check to make sure the work is complete and you are getting what you payed for.

Well I cant say much about their sales department but I would definitely NOT recommend their service department ! I say this because after living in a residential neighborhood near them for 5 years I know for fact they dont respect your property. They race through our neighborhood constantly at excessive speeds giving the saying Drive it like you stole it a whole new meaning! Its such a shame seeing some of those beautiful machines being beaten on by such bad mechanics, like that custom chopper that just blasted by!

Brought in my RZR 800 S because it was over heating, they had it three weeks said it needed a new radiator cap ($50). I know they didn’t test it, because the first time I drove it more than 20 minutes, it did exactly the same time. What a colossal waste of time, I’ll never use them again.

I was on my way to Phoenix to buy a used RZR but decided to stop by Star Island first and to my surprise they had exactly what I wanted. But the best part is that is was $1000 cheaper than the Phoenix dealer prices! I was totally satisfied with the entire buying experience and Alan in the service dept. answered all my questions pertaining to the maintenance on it. I recommend buying from Star Island before anywhere else
