After installing important comm equip for a major Search and Rescue exercise, the master/slave clutch cylinder went out. With 2 days before exercise, and my 94 Jeep 1 of 3 vehicles needed for a successful exercise, Dustin stepped up to due repairs. Hands down the best shop in Prescott valley! very polite and honest! I got my truck from a dealership and I got a warranty. My truck started acting up I took it to the dealer and the were telling me it’s gonna be a 2000 dollar job and my warranty didn’t cover it. So I took it to Dustin because I was told he’s a very good mechanic and honest. And sure enough he was able to tell me the problem that needed to be fixed and was able to get my truck running again. It ended up not even being the problem that the dealership told me. So if your looking for a honest mechanic shop Mountain view Autowerks is the place to go to!

I always appreciate honest and trustworthy mechanics. I recently took my girlfriends friends car there for what I thought was a wheel bearing issue. However, after Dustin’s inspection he notified me that it was a rock lodged between the wheel and brake guard. This saved me an expense over $400. I am so beyond happy with the service my dad received from these guys! 12 stars out of 5! My dad came into Prescott from Lake Havasu to have have some work done at the VA and stayed with me for a week. His last day after his biopsy he was ready to head home... when he went to start his truck nothing, we went and put in two new batteries in his Ford F-250 super duty and when we went to start it, it sounded like the starter was fried... we called every diesel shop in town and the earliest he could get in was a month out. Naturally we were panicked and I felt bad for my dad because he was already on edge after his procedure in his 70’s... I called the shop and they told me have no fear we will squeeze you in to get him back home. Dustin even stayed 45 mins past close to make sure he was there to greet us with the tow truck. They knocked it out next morning and he was on his way. Normally that would be an impressive turnaround on such short notice, but the fact that they did the work in the driveway with rain, sleet, and snow, I was so shocked and happy they went above and beyond to accommodate an old vet! You guys are absolutely amazing and earned a lifelong customer. I cannot thank you guys enough.

They are one of the most honest auto shops I’ve ever encountered, in and out of state. They do quality work at a fair price and never try to tack on repairs you don’t need. They are timely and friendly and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. I couldn’t recommend them more. Hands down the best auto shop in town and beyond. They deserve your business.

I brought my 92 f150 long bed in with a couple other quotes for repairs to the steering components from other local mechanic shops(after being charged for the quotes). I was provided a free inspection and quote. The repairs in the other quotes were found to be not even necessary. They had me back on the quickly and a quarter the price. Just got a new water pump installed today. They did a great job. I recommend everybody check them out. Even their new receptionist is awesome!

One of the best allighnments in town. I installed after market upper control arms on my lifted truck and they performed allighnment to the spec I needed and did so with such a great attitude. I love that they test drove it and told me about another issue with the truck that I will fix. A different shop i used on a straight axle dodge let me drive off with a steering box in rough shape and didnt realize. Great guys and they do good work.

I have been going to Dustin since the beginning at least 5 years ago when he first opened up his shop. I have taken all four of my personal vehicles to his shop and referred him to many family and friends. he takes pride in the work that he does and it definitely shows when you first walk into the office and even his shop everything is so neat and clean and organized. That thing I really appreciate about Dustin is that he does not try to upsell you. he is one of the very rare mechanics that is honest in the area and theres even times hell turn down you on things that you think you may need because its not necessary. Overall I promise you you will have a good experience and will definitely get you in and out fast and at a reasonable price.

In an earlier life I was a flathead auto mechanic and knew my stuff. Dustin and his crew are the best that I have encountered since those times. Dustins service is fantastic!! I am from Phoenix and recently purchased a truck in Prescott Valley for my son. I selected Dustins shop based off of the reviews and was not disappointed. Took my car to the dealership and they wanted 10 thousand to fix all the problems. Called all the local shops in my area and Mountain View came up with the best game plan and price. All the mechanics I called said I was in good hands going with Dustin and Mountain View. All the reviews for this place are true in my experience. They did an excellent job on my car and sacrificed business to keep my car in the shop for a minute part that took a week to come in after they fixed the main problems. My car works great 1 month later and Dustin even let me come in and use some of his tools for free to fix a clip in my window!!!

Sent a car to get fixed at this shop that was highly recommended by a friend as the car will be his now and he has done years of service with them. He will not be after his interaction with dustin. Not sure why I would take my car to a mom and pop shop for dealership prices. 1000 dollars for a diag is laughable. Ended up getting the work done at biels after the recommendation from action automotive in prescott. If you want outstanding service at a great price I would recommend going to biels or action automotive.Also I had work done on a 1997 prelude here in 2016 when I got the work done it was because of the high star rating and recommendation to go here. The service was okay. The work did take longer than I expected with me calling several times for updates on the car when I was told Id be called. The work done wasnt overly expensive on it but I know if Id shopped around I could have gotten it done cheaper somewhere else but with it being highly recommended I decided to have the work completed here. Didnt ever go back or leave a review at that time because I wasnt overly or under impressed at that time. Bring this up because I have had personal experience here and dont want people to think Im leaving a review with no prior interaction with this establishment.
