The pharmacy staff is amazing! The whole store is clean and the employees are helpful.

We my wife and I like going there sometimes always on sale. Shelves are always full. And have a Starbucks to boot. Get your coffee on while shoping. Lol

When I am in Prescott Valley I dont do a lot of shopping at Safeway but recently I stopped there for a few items and its a very fine grocery store. Its clean and not cluttered. I enjoyed their lemon pepper rotisserie chicken that I bought there on my most recent trip to Safeway. The cashiers are always helpful and friendly. Their grocery prices are a little higher than some other stores, however if you shop their weekly bargains, that is a good thing.

I have been to this store three times in the past seven days to get chicken from the deli. I have came as early as five and been told they don’t have any. I’ve come as late as seven and gotten what I like. It’s extremely frustrating that they make hot meals to buy and they never have any left at dinner time! I even went to the prescott store today at like four and they were out too. Completely unpredictable. And don’t buy the leftover cold stuff unless you enjoy leather in your mouth!

Enough times where the cashiers leave product behind. Ive been stolen enough from this store so I say good riddance and never again.

This store seems to have a pretty good selection of items. I especially appreciate the organic food offerings and fresh food for cats. The self checkout area needs help though; I find the machines to be overly sensitive, and often the supervisor has to come and correct an issue about scanning or where an item was placed.

Clean and well laid out. Deli, Bakery, Starbucks, and National newspapers. Only 4 stars as prices are high, even before the last 2 years.

Everything about shopping here is horrible. The app never works, More than 3 times Ive witnessed the store manager be rude and condescending to customers. In trying to recoup my $57.00 in coupons, and U deals, that the cashier refused to fix. I went to customer service. The clerk stated I was wrong. I showed her my app and that indeed I had downloaded the coupons. The service clerk grabbed my phone out of my hands and held it away from me as she looked at my app and coupons. I had informed her that she was incorrect and she was arguing with me. I asked what her name was, and she said. you wouldnt be able to pronounce it. In stunned reaction, I asked her, Why would you say that to me? I requested for her to give my phone back to me, she said No. I reached over the counter and took my phone. She screamed, stated I assaulted her. I stood quietly, asked for the store manager. He appeared after 10 minutes, I said please pull your video now and review the past 15 minutes. He asked why, I said just do it. He came back shaking his head, and said shes fired. I told him that was none of my business, I didnt want her fired however the culture in his store was abhorrent and he needed significant team training.

Wonderful employees who will go the extra mile to help you get your shopping done quick, convenient and correctly.

Just need to be able to get my club soda.The end of the week the shelves are cleared

We wont shop at this Safeway again.The young lady manager was rude and Safeway makes you work too hard to get the deals they advertise in their weekly flier.Some exclusions apply including liquor and tobacco. So I should be good if Im not purchasing those right? Nope.Management doesnt know what the exclusions are either and will be rude if you ask them to how you as the customer are supposed to know what the exclusions are.

The store is well run and clean. Safeway has higher prices in general the trade off is they usually have a wider variety of products. If you follow store specials, have coupons, you can find some deals.

Did some volunteer work.Weed eated all perimator and in side and pulled weed in walkways and laid wood chips.Was hot! 😆

Ive always liked this store the only place I did my shopping when I lived in Prescott Valley though I have to admit because of the covid things have changed and the stores employees stores employees just a different time and different generation working now, I still shop there when I can.

Personally, the prices are higher than other grocery stores. But some things, like Freshetta Gluten Free Cauliflower Pizza can ONLY be found at Safeway. Nice clean store, well laid out. Good produce, good selection. Just my personal opinion that theyre high on prices

I was standing at the bakery 8 min. while an associate was just going back and forth looking for what looked cake holder bottoms. Didnt once ask if needed help...well yes I did; a birthday cake I needed. Well Frys got the sale instead

This Safeway is in Prescott Valley. Here for July 4th Holiday. I learned that the various Safeway/Albertsonsstores often have different items on sale and OFTEN different prices. So if you are not a local remember to change store location (upper right on phone) to get the correct location prices and sale items. I just learned this info but it is critical to getting the correct price.Example this week was 🌽Valley digital price 1¢ an earup to 4/5 ears. PV price 5¢an ear up to 5 ears I think.So when my card did not work quite like I expected I asked the cashier and she explained how to change location from valley to PV.I actually like Safeway as the have great meat and produce. Plus was cashier gave my valley prices when they were less than PV.Awesome.😍😍😍

What can I say, I love Safeway. Its always clean and well stocked, if you cant find something that is on sale they will give you a rain check. Been shopping there for 30 years now.

We love picking up our groceries here curbside and especially appreciate Bobby who shops for us and brings us our groceries!!!

I respect that this store has actual cashiers working. Plenty of self check outs but also plenty of cashiers too. I already like the sales and rewards but just appreciate not having to check out my own groceries.

Stopped by Saturday evening, to buy a few things and get a roll of quarters to do laundry. The lady at the costumer service counter toll me matter of factly that they dont sell quarters. So I asked her where I might get some. She suggested the UPS Store. As I was leaving I came upon a self-service car wash with a quarter machine. I guess Costumer Service just a misplaced sign on the wall.

Just opening for the day. They do require masks, but dont enforce it.Great selection of nuts and dried fruit (I make my own trail mix) andorganic meats. They have a rewards program that helps me reduce costs. Bakery is outstanding, bran muffins are wonderful.

Thought I would stop here for groceries because it was on the way home. I usually goto Frys. Safeway is overpriced and not as nice as Frys. The only good thing was that it wasnt crowded. Probably because everyone goes to Frys like I usually do...

Love Safeway I can beat the crowds at Walmart and Frys and theyre selection of goods is awesome different than the other stores great products check out a little bit of a wait but worth it.

My go to grocery store when in a pinch. They carry specialty items are have social distancing requirements in place. A little more costly than Frys but definitely with it for the convenience. Staff has always been kind and helpful and that is truly appreciated.

Ive been a long time Safeway shopper, and until my recent visit have had great things to say about this store. However, it would be appreciated if certain cashiers and baggers could keep their unsolicited opinions about conspiracies, racial slurs and political issues to themselves. My groceries are not a political statement nor an invitation to hear about yours -- I certainly didnt offer up mine nor give any indication that I wanted to hear about yours. Had my items not already been unloaded on the check-out belt I would have walked out, unfortunately I was a sitting duck and had to endure . Its a grocery store not a facebook conspiracy group.
