I have been going here for about four years and it’s always been the worst customer service you can imagine. However, last week I went in and they have a new person there that actually opened the door for me because I had a large package. She took my package and helped me right away! I was highly surprised and delighted to see this kind of customer service. She was conversational and thanked me. Good customer service we don’t see much anymore. I hope they keep her and I hope she can teach the others in the store to at least meet halfway and Smile And thank somebody for coming in.

I dont understand all the very negative reviews. Ive been to this UPS store many times and always been treated nicely. The employees are friendly and helpful and respectful. Ive never had any kind of problem with them or their services. I find this local UPS store to be very useful for Amazon.com returns. They make it super easy and simply. They are my go-to place for photocopies, as well.

Horrible customer service by the same rude woman every single time! She obviously hates her job and takes it out on every customer that crosses her path. If this wasnt the closest Amazon drop off point to me, I would NEVER return to this location again. Other employees of this store are very nice but this one in particular is absolutely horrid and shouldve been fired a long time ago.

I often have returns and ship out packages to friends and family. UPS in my previous town always had the most friendly and helpful employees, and had earned my loyalty to UPS over the years.Since moving to Prescott Valley a year ago, Ive used the UPS frequently - often several times a month. I have had exactly one positive experience with the employees - and I havent seen that particular girl before or since.The employees behind the counter have been consistently rude, often making me feel like Im inconveniencing them by being in the store -even if my package has a prepaid label and they have to interact with me minimally. There is one specifically that Ive witnessed roll her eyes at customers more than once. This employee, Archie, often talks down to the customers shes dealing with. Though I understand that as a whole, people can sometimes be demanding and not understanding towards the guest service workforce, I genuinely believe that this is less of a problem of customer, and more of an issue with the staff.I also know how difficult it can be to find valuable employees, however, I would expect a manager or owner of the store to be in often enough to at least be aware of how the customers are treated.I actively avoid doing business here if I can help it.

Yes, it was busy. Its in a mall 🙄 No, the staff was not rude (but two of the other entitled patrons could have used a medium bit$h slap). We waited our turn, joked with staff, complimented and thanked them for their assistance and completeness (had to notorize a bunch of bank forms), happily paid our tab and left the place better than when we had arrived. Really folks, a little kindness and respect for those working as hard as these folks are goes a long way to making the world a better place. Glad we found this store 😁😷

Xena was AMAZING in setting up and processing a new mailbox service for me! As I was thinking of multiple questions to ask in regard to the cost and the service itself, she proactively anticapted and answered nearly every question before I had even asked! It was incredible and extremely rare to receive the kind of customer service that I experienced today at this UPS store. More amazing is the fact that Xena delivered this same high quality customer service to several customers ahead of me on line meeting each request so efficiently that it seemed like there was very little or no wait time at all! Wow, it was a real pleasure to witness someone who serves the public perform her job so well and just demonstrates that Xena TRULY takes her job at heart! Thanks again for making my day! Andre definitely gets an honorable mention for his dedication to the store and to his SUPERSTAR team member!

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! The first time my daughter ever tries to mail something, and you crush her confidence!! I cant believe you tried to charge her over $120 to mail me a tiny, little package to a neighboring state without suggesting ANYTHINIG cheaper. I WILL NEVER USE UPS AGAIN! And I will influence as many others not to either!!! I will be reporting this to the BBB and to your local chamber of commerce! And then you still charge her over $20 for 5 day shipping. A priority 2-day package from US Postal service, with tracking and insurance wouldve been about $12!!! You thieves!

I dread going into the PV UPS store. They have really unhappy and rude employees. Today I had the misfortune of being checked out by Roby. Very rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. How is it that UPS delivery drivers are the friendliness people on the planet but the store employees are awful.

I received a package today, box and item was damaged, the box had a big hole on a corner, I started a return with Amazon right away and brought the box back to ups store, they wouldn’t accept the package with a hole like that for liability reasons but they can sure deliver packages heavily damaged, ended up paying $38 for a new box.Next time I’ll make sure my items arrive with a different carrier.

Awful customer service. The few times weve been there (twice for an amazon return and once to ship our own ups package), both employees who were working were rude. As in very rude. The employee this morning just started yelling at a customer. She was awful. She just started hollering at the rest of the customers as well. Two of the previous visits, we were informed that yes, a customer can send an email to the store and theyll print it. I think thats awesome and a great service. Today the employee just kept repeating (yelling) that they dont do that and dont have to. I like being able to write postive reviews. It takes a lot for me to write a negative one. This however has earned that spot. Ill go further out of my way than this convenient location just to avoid the employees Ive encountered.

I had came in with just a simple request. I needed a few copies of a record that I couldn’t lose. The associate Zerenity, not only was she helpful but had a wonderful attitude, her courtesy and respect was over the top, and I’ll definitely be back again. You don’t find respect like that now days. There is a girl in this store who should not be working in near or with the public ....EVER! (She is a manager of some kind )I have visited this site on other occasions and she was short and came across as rude; but each time she was working alone so attributed it to being stressed and busy....No; today she spoke the same way to her coworkers and again to me. She is short, rude and all for no reason! When I expressed my concerns she waved me off and said repeatedly have a nice day.She is the rudest employee I’ve ever encountered in a business that counts on the public

Danger Beware Danger... this is an awfully bad store. The employees do not care about you, they do not want to help you. They are not trained, and you always have someone new. If you do go there be prepared to stand in a line for a very long time. Average time for me is 30 minutes. The people who work there are mean and do not give a rip about you. They know nothing about customer service. If I were you, I would look for an alternative way of shipping/receiving. Or maybe someone can take you out back and beat you with a 2x4 before you go, you will feel better than working with these useless employees. Who in the heck owns this store? The owner seems not to care…

Tried and tried to tried to find out about a tracking number on a certain item and all I got was the run-around they kept telling me at the store in PV or Prescott Valley to call the 800 number I called it and I got the run-around then couldnt find nothing out and Im still trying to figure out if a package was shipped to them they should have got there by now it was probably shipped out after V and still cant get no answer from anybody

I was at this store on 10/8/2020 at 2:20pm Thursday. Was only two people in front of me. One at the counter sending package, one behind (no mask, no distance upset women). Another walking around with package in hand. The employee #106528 Andre Z mid 20, started with yelling to women walking around we (dont accept postal boxes). The store now has a line to door everyone wearing mask but women behind me complaining. I was next this employee started to help with rude attitude, yelling at me (what is in the box) told her three times to stop yelling information could here her even being deaf in one ear. She wanted an itemized list of what box contained insuring for $100.00. Tried to give her one but got impatient quickly continuing to yell (again explained to her could very well hear her)....Small UPS store with little room between counter and racks of cards for sale. Explained would write list for her tried to move to other counter on left to help next customer. She moved me back did not want to enter info in computer again. Now the women with no (mask) was able to brush by me...Another tall gentleman from back came out and was very helpful but she yelled again if you insurance for $100 value has to be $100. She needs training in customer service I was not the only one that got her rath......Sandra, AZ

This ups store is amazing! Great customer service very friendly and helpful staff. I’ve been here multiple times and have over heard many different interactions between the staff and customers. People just need to realize that this is not UPS this is a franchise and quit being so quick to judge off of things that are out of their hands such as delivery issues. These people work their butts off and go out of their way to help out to the best of their abilities. Friendly reminder to treat workers the way you want to be treated as a customer.

On Friday, October 30th, 2020, I received an email from UPS/My Choice.com that my Amazon package was delivered to your store, located at 7760 E State Rte 69 Ste C5, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 and available for pickup...Upon entering the store and asking to receive the package, I was told by the desk clerk that the package was unavailable due to the fact the he was too busy and did not have time to check all delivered UPS packages into the store. This desk clerk made no attempt to provide me with alternative time as to when I am able to receive my package and informed me that in no uncertain terms was he going to accommodate my request.THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND POSSIBLY ILLEGAL!!!This is not the first experience of this nature that has occurred with the Customer Service and Management of this particular UPS Store. Along with arbitrarily and erroneously charging Package Retrieval Fees to customers and damaging merchandise when being shipped from this Store... I would like a QUALIFIED explanation why this business practice and other practices noted are allowed by the General Manager, Tabitha Thomas.Horrible Customer Service, LAZY CLERKS, Ridiculous and Irresponsible Management! Honestly I go here a lot for Amazon, I have never had a problem up until today with a woman who had a horrible attitude. Blonde hair, short, fake eyelashes I was in about 1:00 p.m.. She had a hard time figuring out what my return was I had 2 separate ones. It was pretty self explanatory as I handed them to her separately with two different codes. She kept asking me the same question over and over again. Quite annoying, and absolutely terrible customer service as she was making a scene.

Terrible customer service AND expensive. Waited in line, when my turn, attendant was already huffing and puffing about having to measure and look up the item I wanted to have shipped. She gave me the quote to package and then ship it, I asked if they could just package it to which she rudely replied “uuuuuummmmmmmmmm...... yeah but not right now, I was supposed to be done 20 minutes ago so we don’t have time and these packages need to go out first so if you want it you need to come back.” I know it’s the holidays and it’s busy and it’s covid but that’s not an excuse. I didn’t need to spend $38 to ship a package approximately 15”x10” weighing less than 1/2 an ounce a couple of states away so no, I don’t need to come back.

Absolute worst customer service ever. Rude, snippy, inconsiderate... UPS offers $100 loss or damage insurance on all packages unless a value is specified, but not this location! They say unless they were the ones who packaged it that its only gonna cover loss. That makes no sense when the ups website says they automatically cover loss and damage. Besides the fact that if a shipping company drops, kicks, crushes a box and something is broke, it should be replaced. They are taking responsibility for the package once its in their hands. Sitting here writing this I wish I could go back and pick up my packages and take them to a different carrier. I am appalled by the behavior of this location and i pray my packages get delivered safely. As a art designer and seller, I ship packages several times a month and its sad that the attitude of this location will push me to seek other sources for shipping. Another customer lost, at least from what im reading, im not the first...

This is hands down the worst customer service I have received. The manager was extremely rude to us and to her employees. They charged me 1 dollar to tape an envelope. I have come here before and they have not charged to tape a package. On top of that, they charged 76 dollars for 6 boxes. This is ridiculous!!! Save your money and go somewhere else where putting a strip of tape on a package is simple courtesy and cardboard boxes are priced reasonably and can be returned if unused.

The absolute worst. They act like theyre doing you a favor to help you. Their prices are INSANE..EXAMPLE: December shipping presents around the country, quoted $150 the cheapest. Discovered the UPS Customer Center, took it there instead, paid $16...yes you read that correctly. Sixteen... They will take USPS mail but again act like theyre doing you a big favor and request a donation to the humane society (no problem with the donation its their attitude!). They wont sell you postage stamps. Never going there again!!!! The girls who work there are snotty. This is not a mail center. Its an expensive retail franchise and thats why the prices are outrageous! If you have extra money to throw around at people who would not give you the time of day then this is your place! They also dont have carts so you can get a bunch of packages, or one heavy package, out of your car all at once. Ive asked them once and they sent someone smaller than me to carry a box. And one time recently -- the LAST TIME -- they watched me go through the line 3 times and get in it again and never even made eye contact to see if I needed some darn help.

I rarely need to return anything to Amazon, but needed to this time. I hadn’t dealt before with a return where a UPS store scans my Amazon return code and then packages up the items to return. The gal helping me was very helpful, courteous, and lots of smiles. She scanned my Amazon return code, took my items, gave me a tracking receipt, and reassured me that she would take care of everything. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The young brunette working there was really rude. Its unfortunate because she seemed to be the senior employee as the associate who was helping me kept asking her questions. Two stars only because at least one of them was friendly. When someone asks a question, simply answer, dont judge and be rude because a customer doesnt understand your red tape.

During the covid 19 issue I had to get fingerprints for a job. After touching the glass of the printer and the associate handling my fingers for over 10 minutes because the machine couldnt pick up my prints, it was finally over. When I asked for some hand sanitizer, the clerk said they didnt have any. The clerk across the room said we dont have any hand sanitizer just like everybody else. Funny, I had just been to Fed ex to mail something that could only go through Fed ex and they had hand sanitizer on the counter. If you cant make your customers feel safe, dont open your doors.

I have always been greeted professionally and warmly by the staff at this UPS Store. They are prompt, courteous and friendly. I have no complaints. I have 25+ years of customer service background so I think I am pretty picky but also fair in my opinion of the customer service delivered at this store. Keep up the excellent work!

I had to ship back a vacuum from Dyson for repair. Was given a reference # and told to take it to a UPS Store. Carried my vacuum in and was told they dont do reference numbers, that I would need a label or pay for it myself. Was also told that maybe the UPS hub could do it and was given the address & phone number for UPS. I left the store and called, spent time navigating through the frustrating automated phone system and was told they couldnt locate the reference number. So then I called Dyson and waited 15 minutes on hold. Their customer service person had me go back to the UPS store with her still on the line. She said it sounded like inexperience and sure enough, when I went back in and after waiting yet again in line, the supervisor did the transaction. Took less than 60 seconds. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!! Was a total waste of my time, not to mention having to lug around the vacuum.

I just wanted to say a few things about this location. As I sit here and read the reviews I just have to laugh, the fact is people are so easy to judge. I have known the associates and managers of this location for many years, and am very happy to continue to do business at this location and all of their other locations as well. Customers go in having a bad day, dont get the answer they want and now it is all of the sudden the associates fault, so they go online and post horrible reviews. I do not think that people should judge a business on a few bad reviews. This is not the case at all, I have read these reviews and I can say these kind of things have never happened in the years I have done business here. I could not ask for better service or better customer service at that.I get it ... if the service is that bad and you feel you need to speak to someone about it, maybe call and speak to the management, Im sure they will be happy to figure out the problem and resolve it for you. Dont jump to conclusions and feel the need to post ridiculous reviews because youre not happy with yourself or are having a bad day. I sent my Mothers China to my niece in Washington. Wrapped every piece in bubble wrap sepseparately. Markefd it fragile the box was smashed almost every piece was broken. If I could give them no stars I would. They were so rude from the moment I walked in. No one greeted any person that walked in the store. I waited for at least 15 mins. I went to go get a title notarized because the bank was booked up for a couple days and the 2 girls that were in there made it very obvious they didn’t want to help me. Finally one of them did “Tabitha”. Keep in mind they don’t have ANY prices for anything in there and she was rushing me along so before I could ask the cost she was already started and after the fact she says it’s $10. $10! for a notary. She was so rude and inconsiderate and genuinely unprofessional to me I couldn’t believe it. I wouldn’t have done it if I had known it was $10. I am very disappointed and honestly upset.

Super-quick, friendly customer service. I usually go in to drop off my pre-metered packages and it doesnt take me more than 1-2 minutes to do so, even during their busy times. They also offer to tape up your boxes in exchange for a small donation to the Humane Society, which is great all around (I dont have to run home or buy a whole roll of tape, and the YHS benefits as well). Everyone is doing a great job and its always a pleasure to ship from there.

When I walked in this morning I could hear a lady in the back office yelling at someone on the phone, followed by a loud hangup, which was incredibly unprofessional. Then she stormed out of there and asked me (next in line) what I needed. then she told me her computer was down so she would have to wait until the next computer was available. Then she went to the guy after me and started helping him, even took over the computer the other lady behind the counter was using to help the person in front of me! And then, after helping the guy behind me, she helped the lady behind him! It was so rude to not be taken care of in a timely and professional manner. Their customer service needs serious work!

I went in with a shipping label and box to return a defective Amazon purchase. They forced me to use a credit card to donate to the Humane Society since they taped the box closed. Then I had to put a paper in the box so they charged me another dollar. I dont mind making donations when I choose to but this was horrible service and it felt like I was being punished for shipping the package there. In the end UPS gets paid for delivering a defective product both ways but I have to donate extra money which I cannot be reimbursed for. I used to do a lot of business here but not anymore. I will discourage anyone else from using this UPS store. Terrible service!

I went in today and asked to ship a package along with buy prepaid postage back, they spoke to me like I was an idiot and tried to get me to pay $200 something. I left the store and went online to purchase everything for just $70. Theyre ridiculously overpriced and rude. I went back into the store with my package and shipping all ready, the lady whom I dealt with earlier just asked if I wanted a receipt and sent me away. I wont be going back there.

This store has some of the rudest most snotty customer service people i have ever cone across. Taidyme (Tatum) the notary is the rudest, most condescending, snottiest person I have ever met . Her attitude towards customers is atrocious. I have never been treated so badly by any one in customer service. Its worth it to go to post net where they treat customers a lot better.

Over priced, and attitude from the manager! $12 for a carboard box. Paid to have a fragile item packaged, had to sign a release that they are not responsible for the packaging. Then, manager gives me attitude because I waited to inspect the completed packaging job! (After I offered to buy the material so i could do it myself, but counter person assured me she would do an exemplary job). Get over your self manager/owner; learn some customer service skills. I will avoid your store in the future.

I was in this morning, and once last week to print from the 2 large printers at the front left of the store. Both were incapacitated this morning. I alerted the young male clerk and he turned both on and off, enterred his key code, but to no avail. He then suggested using the public computer that is billed per minute. The standard black printer would not work either, so he says to print to the color printer, so I do and get charged $47 for 88 copies.I figured when he told me to print to the color one I would not be up charged, boy way I wrong. I was charged for computer access and colored copies for my black copies simply because this store had 3 printers not working. Before leaving the store I took visual evidence of the error messages on the large printers to prove this did occur as I was denied my receipt as well.Last week I had no trouble at all printing from the large printer with a zip drive at no cost other than cost of copies. Its not my fault this franchise does not maintain its equipment. I should not have had to pay for computer usage or 59 cents a copy just because the ups print shop had a single printer that worked on Nov. 17th, and 3 others that did not. Black/white copies were 15 cents. Further after each failure I had to get back in line each time to notify the clerk this occurred at least three times. I also did not get a receipt and was informed it should have printed. I informed the clerk it did not and I wanted a receipt. He ignored me for 15 minutes until I left after getting his managers number and being denied any store credit. I will be contacting my bank to dispute this charge.This was probably the worse customer service experience Ive encountered.I recommend using any other competitor or other ups store franchise but this one.Last week I was in to witness a portion of a different dispute. These people just dont care.And the pricing is outrageous, they have normal united states post services boxes and are charging twice the price.

They charged $380.00 ground shipping no insurance to Apache Junction for a painting. Yes it is oversized, but to drive it 130 miles. $380.00 on a painting I paid $130.00 for. I had a terrible customer service experience at this store with a young lady named Tatum. It was so bad that I went to another store in the area because I was treated so badly. I initially chose not to post a review and sent an email privately in hopes to reach the owner to let them know. I believe the email probably got to the manager who I have been told is a family member of Tatum. I still hope that the owner sees this and knows that the service in their store is lacking.

Absolutely atrocious customer service Employees are passive, dismissive, and rarely willing to help if you need it. When you do ask for help they do the very minimum, while rolling their eyes with attitude and talking bad about customers amongst themselves. Have lost packages of mine on two occasions. Manager Tabatha is combative, defensive and unwilling to resolve problems with professionalism, yells and deflects blame constantly. Had to go as far as a BBB report for the lost packages and contacted their corporate office with regard to details of these issues. Save your frustration and go to Fedex!

Terrible customer service, rude, slow, they act like the customers are stupid talking loud about their packages and took customers just walking in ignoring the ones already waiting. Was waiting for a picture to print and instead of them helping me they just hollered we didnt get no email were talking amongst themselves and hollering from the back room to the front! Will never go back

Always busy seems like, the staff is friendly,last Friday I showed up at 8 am that’s when they were sopose to open I left at 8:30 they never opened the store, it isn’t close to me so it was a inconvenience don’t know what happened

I was in few days ago to make copies and an employee/manager there was extremely rude to customers (her name is Tatum I believe) After reading other reviews on here, I dont understand how shes still working there. Especially for a company like UPS. Hopefully someone will do something about this and care about how customers are being treated!! Its very very unprofessional and rude.

Store was horribleWe stopped in to make 50 copies, but they came thru blank. We could get it to work, but they charged us $12.00 for the blank paper. I will never ever go back to this store. Total ripoff.

Now they make you pay to use their internet to print something plus pay for the prints. They no longer allow you to email stuff to them for them to print now theyre just going to sit there and take every penny they can. Way to go downhill UPS.
