I love art stores, being an artist of many mediums and master of none, and I love The Art Store. It has enough of most mediums to keep me dabbling for some time to come. And NEW mediums to me, dont get me started! For instance, Alcohol Ink. What a fascinating medium! Im currently using it on small tins. It can be used with pen nibs, brushes, and floated in a solution to create abstract art on just about anything! Keith Kendall, the owner, is a wonderful teacher and very ready resource of everything Art. The website is a great place to start, the class roster is up, classes are ON!

Best selection of papers and inks in the area. The owner is usually around and very knowledgeable, hes even offered to order different materials for me when Ive asked. Very low-key, but worth a visit if youre looking for high-quality supplies.

Very knowledgeable about the products which is so helpful to the beginner to the professional artist.I drove 2 hours to come to this store because of a canvas shortage. The owner personally stretched some canvases for me. When I picked up the canvas I was interested in some new products and he was instrumental in helping me make my choice.Well worth the drive!!

Great people that seem to genuinely care about what there clients need,after spending over an hour here listening to my buddy ask questions without any issues.........concerns with paints ect.....after we finished shopping the owner even insisted he delivered everything to my buddies jobsite!I was just there to carry paint for my friend....this store is very accommodating.......

I like The Art Store because its local and has a variety of mediums and papers. They have a paint tube card, buy a certain amount get one free and always have new and nifty things. I rarely go to the box stores because this has a knowledgeable staff and good prices, and they have good sales around school time and holidays.

Well, I walked in and tripped on a dog bone for one. I can to this store which obviously is going to have more expensive Art supplies which are higher quality. But that is what I was willing to pay, as I walked in believing I would get expert advise. I was pretty much insulted multiple times, received no expert advise and would never return.

I went in there expecting to find art snobs, and to find what I wanted by myself. What I found were warm people, friendly, wanting to help, to give advice. They sold me the things I couldnt find anywhere else, at a good price, and with service that will forever keep me coming back to get my art supplies there. They have a good selection, good advice, and people who are more than willing to make a customer satisfied.

The Ive been a customer at both The Art Store and the Frame and I for several years. Ive purchased many art supplies for YC art classes, and have appreciated the discount they give to art students. The sales staff is outstanding - knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. As a relatively new art student, I find I always learn something new when I visit the Art Store.

I am only giving it one star because it wont let me finish if I dont put one. Dont buy from these people, such a rip off. Overpriced to the point of ridiculous. Very condescending attitude towards those of us asking questions, dont like being talked down to. You have to spend a fortune to get there little coupons!! Will not be returning there.
