Amazing aspirational store. Worth a visit to see interior set ups to mimic at home.
The furniture is beautiful and so comfortable! BUT the customer service here is terrible. They are SO snobby. When you spend thousands of dollars on furniture and it takes OVER 4 MONTHS AND MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS to get your furniture - it’s just not worth it. Sorry this will be the last time I’m spending so much money in 1 place.
They have a lot of interesting things. That being said I had a run in with the Manager . They are not very customer oriented. I also called the corporate office with no resolve.
Lovely, lovely items. Staff a bit snooty and have disagreed with one another on the sales floor more than once. Uncomfortable. Prices are high. Displays are inspiring. Store clean.
I am in love with the store the Decour is so me but I can honestly say they need to work on their staff you could wonder around for 20 minutes and I will not ask you if you need some assistance...
The customer service at the Pottery Barn in Princeton is terrible. They’re so standoffish and rude, like other reviewers here have said. I went there in December 2019 and one of the employees there was pretty snobby with me. When I met the manager earlier that year, he was snobby as well and clearly doesn’t like talking to customers even if you’re trying to be really nice to him. Well, whatever. The physical stores are probably going to close soon anyway since you can buy all their products online, and if the stores can’t offer decent personal assistance then they’re good for little else.

The store itself looks really nice but unfortunately they never change up the product selection, even with the seasons. Additionally it feels like the sales staff just dont care, socializing instead of greeting and helping customers.

Don’t buy furniture here. If you live nearby, you have lots of other options along Route 1 that will actually deliver in a reasonable time frame. I’m in my third month of waiting for a sofa and loveseat, and customer service has gone from vague promises, to lies, to complete silence as they’ve continually pushed back the delivery date.
I have been visiting this Pottery Barn for several years now, and they always have great service. They remember me and my purchases, and ask me about all the projects I have going on at my house. There is a Pottery Barn closer to my house, but I always drive the extra distance to visit Princeton. Holly and Michael are always very helpful. I look forward to continue to visit this store.
I love the products but I dont recommend this location. Customer service is really bad. I wanted to buy a Brinkley Mirror (small SKU 1185875) that was exhibited on the store for $118.97. They told me that another customer was going to buy it, but offered to leave my name and phone number to be the second in the waiting list. They would inform me if the other customer didnt buy it. I went back to the store to see if the mirror was available. This time another person told me that there wasnt any waiting list. She checked online and told me that the item was still available online (much more expensive $299) and they couldnt sell that particular one. The true was that they didnt have any intention to sell that mirror (It was for sale as far as I can tell, on display and marked with a price). I lost my time going back to the store. Why do they lie to customers?
Horrible service...or lack there of. My boyfriend and I went in tonight looking to acquire info about a sectional and order some fabric swatches. 3 men, Im not even sure if all were employees, didnt even acknowledge us. The sectional we were looking at was directly next to them, but they were too busy socializing. We never even got a hello. Needless to say, we left without anything. Better employees needed.
Worst customer service every time I go to this store. Traveled 30 min to pick up a plate to save the exorbitant shipping fees charged on the website. They didn’t have the plate in stock even thought it’s from their standard PB Classic line and completely dismissed helping me in any way to get it. Was told by the manager to just come back later even though the sale was only going to last a few more days - they couldn’t offer a raincheck or waive shipping or send from another store without a fee or even pretend to care. Very disappointing.
I personally really love this location I love their sales and just the whole country/comfortable look that’s the vibe my house has I’ve got my lanterns here two years ago and they are still in tiptop shape !

Went to pick out picture frames. Selected about 5. 2 of them apparently were displays since they were out of them. Salesperson was unhelpful and rude. Stated we dont sell the diplays. So why would you put them out of they are sold out?Will buy elsewhere.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Made me drive all the way down from Basking Ridge to pick up an order I placed online (and that I got confirmation for) just to tell me that they did not have the product I bought in the store. Their products are ridiculously overpriced and their service is quite disappointing.

This store has a really poor customer service. On Dec 14, 2019 at 05:25 PM It was understaffed and its staff was unwilling to please customers. We bought a picture frame 4x6 that was exhibited and had no box. Associate # 385557, who was at the register told us there were not frame boxes at the store and gave us a 8 x 8 1/2 x 12 box. Unbelievable.
I usually love pottery barn but this location is a flop! you can look around for 20 mins straight and no one will assist you! its like they dont want to help you well thats how they made me feel...
Love their products but prefer to order online. This location has poor customer service. Sales team offers no assistance and have poor problem solving skills. May appear snobby and short fused. Disappointing and definitely not a good reflection of the brand.

The worst company i ever dealt with . we purchased a dining table for over $2,000 and it was delivered damaged, when we tried to reach the company to replace it they opened a case number they said they would call us back and nothing happened its been like 5 months and we still need to run after them and call them to try to get them to do something and nothing has happened still!

They asked me the register number for the order i placed so they can track my shipment. Comical! Plus charge for shipment if not in store.
