I purchased the caramel apple covered in pecans, it was actually pretty tasty. Wonder about the chocolates sold there but since customer service is lacking I only ordered the apple.When I entered the store I wasnt greeted or helped. I approached the young lady to ask her a question, she obviously did not want to help me. Ended up ordering anyway as I had traveled a long way to get there; I would have ordered more but it felt as if I wasnt a customer but more of a burden. Even the customer before me received a lot of attitude from the same young lady and he immediately left.Hoping customer service improves, really want to give this place another shot in the future.

I really like their Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Apple pie. Perhaps, a bonus that I like about Kilwins is that of the 4 ice cream spots in Princeton, it is the only one that seldom has a wait to get ice cream.

We found Kilwins when we were on vacation, and then a friend told me we had one right here in NJ. The ice cream is delicious, but what really makes it is their homemade waffle cones! Oh, and dont forget to grab some homemade fudge or a caramel some while youre there - or both!

We stopped in to Kilwins today unexpectedly, we saw those caramel apples and just had to go in! The service was excellent and they provided us with a lot of information. The man and younger man that were there really made the experience great! Their hot chocolate is absolutely delicious, I took a sip and my eyes almost popped out of my head! Next time we visit well be going back to try more of the treats! Definitely a great place for chocolate lovers or those that want to have a delicious treat!

Rude staff. Walked in exploring Princeton as I am a new grad student. Asked about the picture in the window and if it was showing a specialty type of chocolate on their ice cream. They looked at me as if I was stupid and said It is not special, its just chocolate. Rude look and tone. Please be a bit more kind and passionate about your product.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!I stepped into the store today after a very long walk around Princeton as I do every Sunday. All I wanted was an ice cream. This place has the only cookie dough ice cream that I feel satisfies my palate, but as I went to order the girl behind the counter turned to say hello and SCREAMED in horror once she looked at me. I get I was sweaty, but that was uncalled for. I tried to ignore it and move on but she kept pointing at my face and just uttering nonsense. I broke down crying and a man came from the back room to ask what was wrong, and he looked at me with such horror as if I just beheaded a small child. I will NOT be returning here.

First time looking into the store, it thought that it was a very beautiful place! But that thought was quickly shot down once my family and I actually entered the shop and started to order. My daughter had wanted that flavor called ‘Superman’ but because she has a very bad allergy to some ingredients in ice creams, I asked the employee what was in this icecream. She answered with ‘fruity flavor.’ I was confused about what kind of fruits in it to I inquired again, ‘Do you know what kind of fruits are in it’ and she just looked at me with utter disbelief as if I was asking her social security number. Then another employee comes around and points to the icecream tag saying, ‘there should be some info about it on the tag.’ I looked and there was nothing that answered my question. I was really losing my patience because I needed to know what the kinds of fruit were in it because if my daughter ate it her actual LIFE would be endangered. I am very very disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service in this shop.

My family and I went to the Kilwins in Hyannis this summer and loved it, so when my son saw Kilwins in Princeton today, he was excited to try some fudge. He only wanted a piece of fudge as a dessert after lunch and asked for a quarter of a piece of a large piece of fudge. The salesperson said he would not sell us a piece of fudge that size but would sell us a quarter of lb, but wouldn’t show us how big 1/4 lb was until we asked. It ended up being half a block of fudge- way more than we wanted. I have been buying fudge for many years and never had an issue getting the size piece I wanted until today. We ended up buying it anyway and was disappointed to find it way too sweet. I find it quite surprising that the salesperson wouldn’t sell us the size of fudge that we wanted as we were the only customers there and his attitude left us with a bad feeling. Small businesses like this need to think about repeat business. Even if they don’t get the big sale that they were hoping for that day, if they treat customers right, then next time they might make a bigger purchase. Although I’m doing my best to support all local businesses right now, we will not be returning.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could! The ice cream was slightly over priced which wasn’t that big of a deal but my whole family got food positing from it! Otherwise I would have loved the place!

Finally a Kilwins in my back yard!! They have the best ice cream and chocolates (and yes, usually fudge), but this particular store does not yet carry fudge. The friendly owner assured me it was coming. I guess Ill just have to keep visiting until it arrives!! ;)

Wow. Came here on the opening day because there was a KIlwins where we used to live, and we were one of the only people to come. Prices are sky high, and unbelievable, even for Princeton. They seem to have a lot of staff, but not a lot of people. The only good note is that the actual product is pretty good. I like their barks, ice creams and chocolates. Still wish they had fudge, though. Overall, its a pretty good place, but they just need to lower their prices.

Would have been a five but yeesh, terrible service . I even tipped like perhaps she’s having a bad day. Not a hello not a thank you just kept saying I dunno to every question.

Loved the kilwins at Williamsburg VA. The ice cream taste fresh and flavors are correct taste. We drove to the one in Westfield NJ because we loved it so much, also was great. I came upon this Princeton location by accident on my way to house of cupcakes. It was good but I didn’t like how the one girl didn’t use gloves serving ice cream. Very nasty to have your arms and hands in those buckets serving people. Please use gloves! Other than that, very friendly and very good ice cream.
