Husband and I havent been here since before pandemic. Finally went on 10/31/21. 😃 we made a good haul. Everything all the time is always great. Location, pricing, items, service and friendliness. Anyone saying otherwise just have no clue and no taste (pun intended).

This is the most fabulous place for Italian food, olives, cheese, cold cuts, Italian sausage, etc. etc. I love coming there. The ravioli are the closet to what my mother made. The restaurant next door is fabulous. The food is wonderful!

Most amazing calamari I have EVER eaten!!!!First time to Rhode Island and the best food on my vacation period. There is nothing like this in Texas. The patio was an absolute treat, watching everything was so much fun. Thank you for best caprese salad I truly have ever eaten. So much fun❤️❤️❤️

I was at Venda Ravioli this past Saturday looking for items to put in our pastor’s (who is from Italy) gift basket for pastor appreciation. It was Columbus Day weekend so there was an Italian festival going on, so I figured I would stroll the street and the venders. Since, it was early afternoon I figured I would grab a bite to eat, and since I had been craving sausage and peppers I had (or tried to have) the sandwich from the Venda booth outside the store. The sandwich was delivered quickly, however, the bread was so stale and rock hard I could hardly bite through the bread. I did manage a couple of bites but I was thoroughly unimpressed with it and ended up throwing the entire sandwich in a nearby trash receptacle. I spent $10 dollars for the sandwich and gave a $5 tip for something that was basically inedible. The plus side was I had an excellent glass of wine with a much better dinner at The Providence Oyster Bar. This experience turned me off from going back to Venda Ravioli.

Great service and delicious food. All the pasta is made in house and the lobster ravioli is on point. Even though they were packed the food arrived surprisingly quick. A definite must go.

All glasses and silverware were dirty. Made us loose our appetites. Makes me wonder what the kitchen is like. We all ordered bolognese. Sauce was good. Pasta was all stuck together. Won’t come back!

This is great Italian specialty food shop. They offer many meats, cheeses and fresh made pasta and raviolis. You can also purchase fresh made Italian entrees and sides. Its must try if you are a foodie!

Very long wait for a preorder. Everything seemed disorganized. There were a couple of young worker guys that were the only nice and helpful ones. Tons of workers but hardly anybody attentive to assist I had to go searching for help all around the counter. The old blonde lady w glasses at the register was rude as hell. Not friendly at all. Shouldnt be working in PR. Never wanting to go back.

My husband and wife went to eat at Linda ravioli it was always a good restaurant but this time was very very disappointed we ordered the Salami which had about six or eight pieces of cold cuts three pieces of cheese and two pieces of ricotta also my husband ordered Bolognese whichever had me any sauce on it very little meat oily and very very disappointed there I will never go again one thing I have to say the service was good and the help is very very kind.

This place is more spacious than other delis I’ve been to. Lots of good selections.

Anyone, of course, can imagine finding his or her favorite delicacy somewhere. But at Venda, its like your Top 17 Favorites have been prepared and gathered - and Im just gazing into their spacious Delicatessen, the vibrant, very well-stocked heart of Federal Hill. Here, sumptuous olives, multi-colored and sized flank plump home-made sausages and delectable offerings of home-made Italian dishes and choice cold cuts. Everyday its like the Pope is coming. Bottom line here, at Venda, its Little Italy and some of the finest prepared foods (especially frozen pastas) and staples (like fresh bread, olive oils, canned fish and various desserts) this side of Bologna await - and fairly priced. Even a fresh gelato or espresso! But may I admit something? Because my wife and I had miles to travel home, Ive omitted a lot. (We remembered our cooler, though.) So do Venda the right way: Visit leisurely, savor all the smells and sounds and chat a bit with gracious helpful staff. Because isnt that how lifes most enduring memories are made? And can you visualize Venda catering your very special gathering? They do that, too. And just now, offering delivery. My, my.

Delicious tiramisu. Got the Parma proscuitto sandwhich and was pretty good except they put a little too much balsamic glaze for my liking!

Literally THE BEST food around. Fresh, quality prepared foods that are absolutely delicious. Their deli selection is outstanding! Try their imported ham with rosemary!! Their very popular dish with chicken, peppers and jalapenos is fantastic! Try the stuffed artichokes too. I could literally name a dozen other food products to try from here that are super delicious. The Italian grinders are the BEST!!!!

Loved it. Great food, nice vibe inside, friendly help, and all around had a nice experience there. Grabbed some pasta, meatballs, and sausage and ate it in the square just outside the shop. Even on a cold winter day it was lovely.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Its hard to imagine federal hill without venda ravioli. There pasta is superbly crafted, there sauces are flavorful and rich, and there meat is fresh and high-quality. Its a perfect little slice of Italy in Rhode Island and a must eat for all!

Used ladies room after employee, when I went to wash my hands the soap was completely out... so I know she didnt wash her hands. Tell one of the young ladies working the register that the bathroom was out of soap to which she says okay.. well its not my job to refill soap dispensers. I said I figured it wasnt but can you tell whoever refills them because there is no soap? Older woman working with her agrees they arent responsible then says oh theres hand sanitizer by the door.. I had already ordered and paid for my food, but had the pleasure of seeing 2 more female employees use the restroom with no soap in the dispenser while I waited 🤮The staff need to be re-educated on the importance of hand hygiene.

Great location on Federal hill in Providence. The staff was amazing and so was the food. The summer atmosphere is great with outdoor seating specially when there is a live band playing.

In light of COVID, it was fun being back, even if they had less than normal products.

My thanks to Kevin at Venda. I placed an online order to be delivered on my fathers 94th birthday, March 19. However, due to St. Josephs day they were very busy and couldnt deliver til March 20. I called and Keven was able to arrange the delivery for today. Im so grateful! My father thanked me a million times for his Venda gift. Im thanking Kevin and the Staff at Vendas a million-and-one-times for making my dad so happy. The food is always stellar, and delicious. Never hesitate to order/visit the store...you will ALWAYS have a GREAT experience and will enjoy their food and products. Thank you Kevin!!

Stopped in Federal Hill on the way home from Boston. Venda came highly recommended. We got grinders for lunch, shared a table with another couple, and then ordered fresh cut prosciutto to take home. Loved that we got to sample a lot of items and that the cafe table space encouraged us to meet new people.

Worse service.. 2 hours just to get our meals. We were sitted before 4 other tables and they were waited on before us. Flys everywhere and we were inside on second floor. Food was just ok considering the way people rave about it. Would not go again.. I would go to Marchettis instead better food and service.

AMAZING!!! You can not beat this place for a good ol fashion taste of homemade like Mom (Or Grandma) used to make! After spending most of my life in RI, we had to move to GA and WOW, we cant wait to go back to visit each year, not only to visit with family, but to eat some great Italian food!

Husband and I just left. Amazing food, fancy drinks and Kylie was an amazing waitress. Atmosphere was perfect. Definitely up to code with Covid regulations. If were ever in Province again well back for more oysters.

From walking in the front doors the sounds and smells are enlightening.. I got some pre made Angel Hair pasta with 2 huge meatballs and 2 delicious sausages.. I also got a medium container of Vodka Sauce (my favorite!l and a loaf of fresh Italian Bread with fresh mozzarella cheese.. the staff are very knowledgeable and polite..not making tou feel rushed by any means.. Everything I got was for take-out but they have a courtyard on the side with tables and chairs properly spaced apart for Covid regulations.. I STRONGLY recommend whoever is reading this to make plans in your near future to go to Venda and see what I mean!! Top quality Italian food at its best on Federal Hill.. Tyvm to the staff at Venda for a most memorable 1st time visit with many, many more to come... 😊

A wonderful Old World Italian market featuring all the meats and cheeses as well as prepared favorites. Locally made pastas and Raviolis, oils italian cookies and chocolates. A connoisseurs delight!

Always Great Food since the beginning.

Best of the best as usual. Meats, cheeses, pastas, incredible italian coffees, pesto, homemade alfredo, homemade ravioli in a million different types, you name it. Its a tourist attraction its so good. Everyone in the area knows Venda. The small cafe inside is also excellent.

The prepared foods are excellent, the sandwiches are made fresh and they are excellent as well. This is wonderful place to get all kinds of Italian food.

To celebrate my move to Providence the family went to the sister restaurant, but it was packed so the the host escorted us over to the grocery/restaurant. I had the linguini alla puttanesca and split a bottle of wine with my wife. Everything was superb. I plan to be back to eat here and shop for my Italian staples.

Food is exceptional. Place gets bigger every time Im in town and pay a visit. Great place to get Italian specialty groceries or to eat outside in the piazza.

As another owner on hill I would never go to that place or order from them again I was at place 9:15pm on my mother birthday I was tolled the kitchen is going to close at 10pm wish is understandable but waiter took 20 min to even come to us so I let him know he was late instead applogizeing he walks away like tell me to F off I walked after him to ask for manger he tolled me to get him myself very unprofessional and offensive i talked to the owner he was nice about but definitely need a more professional staff. As another bussiness owner down street that’s not how you treat your customers

Favorite place to food shop. Everything is incredible. Prepared foods are to die for. Great fresh Italian bread. Cookies and desserts are awesome. The only place I buy olive oil. I get all my meat here. Steak,sausage, brisket, ground beef, etc. The ground meat mix is great for meatballs. Its a blend of beef, pork, and veal. Overall its more expensive than your average supermarket but well worth it. Have never had a bad experience and can not think of a single bad thing to say. If youve never been you need to go. Guarentee youll return.

Venda Ravioli is one of my favorite delis. Great food and atmosphere. I love the tin ceiling, the homemade pasta, bread, cookies and the great assortment of deli food. On some days youll hear the staff and customers speaking Italian. Its great to know theyre still keeping their neighborhood language alive. You can get food to go or eat in. The fountain in the piazza next door is a nice touch. Take a stroll through the area and enjoy the sights!

I love Venda! Its one of my favorite places for food in RI. Federal Hill used to be full of Amazing places to eat. I had a bad experience at another spot on fed hill last night but going to Venda quickly made me remember the good spots on Federal Hill.

We had lunch outside in the courtyard on a beautiful September afternoon. Fantastic food and people watching. Inside they have an amazing European type deli with all kinds of meats, cheese and prepared meals like pasta dishes. Truly mouth watering. The hardest thing is deciding on what to get.

This place is one of my favorite places in Providence. I will drive from Connecticut to come here and Pastiche. The dining experience here is excellent and as good as any restaurant. After eating, I love to get some coffee and shop. I love to buy their ravioli, sauces, cheeses, and stuffed cherry peppers.

If you want a real taste of Italy without the plane fare this is the place. They carry a very wide variety of in-house made pastas and food items. You will have to go to Florence itself to find the same quality as you find here.

I came all the way from Cape Cod to purchase the famous Venda Raviolis and they said they only had frozen ones for purchase. We cooked them like I always do, second generation Italian, and 3/4 of them exploded before they were even done. Cheese all over the pan. They were poorly made and the taste was awful and over priced too!!!

I feel the restaurant is pricey for what youre getting and overall a bit bland. Outdoor seating is nice in the summer with a feel for Federal Hill and sometimes live music. Go straight to the store to buy your own fresh ingredients and make an authentic meal at home instead.

A must go to when in Providence for food to eat in or to take home. MANY prepared Italian specialties, a meat & cheese deli that is guaranteed to impress along with a variety of fresh pastas, Italian breads and other foods imported from Italy. YUM!

THE BEST RAVIOLI IN THE WORLD. Make sure if you want fresh ravioli to ask the person behind the checkout counter. If youre planning on cooking it that night, it is much better. Otherwise, get it from the fridge.

Venda is a must for all Rhode Islanders and people visiting Providence. Their selection of food is incredible, and all of the folks working there are super friendly. I have purchased more than a few items here that I never thought I would use in cooking, and have been given suggestions by the employees on how to cook them. They have never steered me wrong. The homemade sauces and pastas/raviolis are good enough to stop you from buying supermarket sauce or pasta ever again. The coffee and Gelato bar give a nice touch for an early morning family visit, and I often find myself staring at the cheese selections for 10 minutes or even longer. We truly are so lucky to have such an amazing market in Providence.

Ive never been to Italy but I imagine this is what a market in Italy must be like. Excellent deli and cheeses, too many choices to list here. The frozen ravioli and sauces are amazing. Authentic Italian!
