This stop and shop was so clean in comparison to the ones I usually go to. They have everything love them

They are remodeling (as least this store ) and it took a little longer than usual to get my few items. Looks like its going to look good when done.

The fruit and vegetables are fresh they dont go bad in a couple of days which is nice fresh bread its kind of nice

This is one of the more abysmal Stop & Shops and I would recommend avoiding it. The store is messy and disorganized, and staff are generally not available. I rounded a corner of an aisle the other night and nearly got taken out by an empty pallet (pallets are visible when stacked, not empty, 3-4 inches off the ground). The store exterior and the parking area is so dark at night you cant actually be sure if the store itself is open, and the scene feels a bit sketchy, frankly. By the time we checked out, no self-checkout existed and no checkout was even staffed. This store has all the feel of Newark Airport at 3AM.

Worked here for years got harassed by the employees and the employers. You should never work here or shop here. It isnt a place you want to bring your family or friends.

Open late. Meaning 12am! I live in East Providence and I’d rather drive here and use this stop and shop than the one near me. It’s always stocked, smaller store but never packed. One thing that needs to change is the manager on his cell phone. I walked by and said have a good night he couldn’t even look up at me and smile. Just kept starring at his phone and said, “Same…” 🤣. Even the two employees behind him managed to stop there conversation and answered me and I wasn’t even talking to them hahahaha. But the store is nice.

Dont pay for your purchases until youve double checked everything on the receipt unless you want to go through a time consuming and humiliating experience trying to get a price correction.I purchased a buy one get one free item ( toothbrushes) and it rang up wrong and I didnt notice until after I paid. I was sent tocustomer service which was anything but. She didnt know what to do and I had to wait until she found someone who could do something. After waiting a few minutes, the new person proclaimed I must have gotten the wrong item. She reluctantly went to look for the $9.99 toothbrushes in question and came back with something different stating this was the only one and there was nothing for 9.99. She challenged me to find the item. We went back where there were at least 20 items boho. I pointed out the sign attached to the 9.99 sign, but there were none remaining so how could I prove thats what I got. I pointed out that she had the receipt and was accusing me of lying. Then she got the manager who said to just give it to me. By now 15 minutes had passed and I felt like a slug. I was brought back to the original person who was told to give me my money back. She wouldnt until she got in touch herself with the manager. I was noticably aggravated and she told me it was all essentially my fault.My recommendation is to never pay for anything there until you have scrutinized the receipt.

Fun relaxing walking around the area

They are super inconsiderate. Cash Dupree and the manger on shift where obnoxious. They did not at all care about the customer. Also I separated my groceries and the decide to mix them up when bagging. This is the worst location. They slam and beat up the fruits and vegetables.

Im from FL, first time at a stop n shop. Good prices and selection. Clean. And best of all was this sweet gal at the register, (tall/african-american gal; Wed June 29th, 2021 closing time) I was short a dollar on my items & even though she had just got ripped off bigtime by an uber driver, she was super kind and paid the rest of my bill.This was a good way to introduce Providence, RI.

Horrible leaving the place . The medical Marijuana place is up the road and people from there race up and down the street.

Very clean and organized though the organization does not always make sense. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of self check out lanes and isles are well marked for one way traffic though not everyone follows the flow of traffic.

Horrible service at the fish counter stood there for 10 minutes than the man that works there has an attitude because Im waiting. The store stinks soon as you walk in. Also their seafood stuffing changed and its gross. I go to Shaws market in North Providence RI very clean and polite service and their seafood stuffing is very good!

This Stop n Shop is your typical market place. Has all the essentials you need. Nothing too fancy (Whole Foods is the fancy marketplace). You can get in and get out within 30-45 minutes with an average grocery list. The employee operated cashiers move quick. Do everything you can to avoid the self-cashiers during peak hours because it is not efficient.My favorite thing about this location is the Gluten-Free (GF) section they dedicate (next to bakery aisle). They have a fantastic selection of GF products for my two GF family members in the house. I love Stop n Shop so, this is my go-to location in Providence, RI.

This store could be better in a few ways,*some of the items were hard to find despite the signs. After searching the baking isle up and down i looked it up on stop&shop website to see what exact isle it would direct me to. Still, gives me isle 7.Thankfully after looking for 8 more minutes i found what i needed, 4 isles down from isle 7...* i was very disappointed to not find any cherry pie filling... in the end i realized i should have just went to walmart because i would have spent way less $ and time...*On the bright side the store had an impressive selection of cheese.

Prices are high. Some sales make it worth a visit

I work for instacart and I usually shop in so many places I don’t usually leave one star for no matter how they treat me I always smile and be kind when it comes to dealing with staffs and employees I know how the job goes cause I’m an employee myself but it’s always something wrong with the people that work here not including everyone but I’m always having issues and troubles with someone over here the law say the customer is always right my receipt didn’t show me my saving points so I ran to customer service and the lady was trying to say I have an attitude and I’m wrong and she kept trying to prove me wrong I respect her she doesn’t seem like a bad lady but then can’t give you the right service and won’t appreciate you as a customer and keep in mind the rules for any job say the customer always right and rule number two say go back to rule number one I do have a life to live for no one have time to waste and even most of the time they’re super busy and so many things could be found there but all I can say It’s providence I guess and thanks god I don’t get engaged with so many trouble makers cause you could go to jail easy for trying to be right

Depends on which one you go to because they all have different deals. I love getting the poland spring water when its 3 for $9. Im a couponer so I always try and save as much as I can especially with 5 children. Coupons go a long way for the better though

Love it, I always go to stop and shop and I always find what I need. One thing though, the paper begs need to go. At least with something thats easier to carry. They did it for one day then I never seen it again.

Pretty busy, but not too much. The out door was being fixed at the moment, so that was a little confusing at the moment. Self checkout is the best to het in and out.

That means a lot of different types & stages of foods. & I don’t have a lot of time to be cooking because there’s work. I love when ever I need to stop plus shop theres this little diddy. Great prices and great customer service whats not to love, although their new robots creep me out. Its like they are plotting. Anywho, Stop & Shop is for winners so if you like to win, and shop, and stop then go, there.

Clean, high quality produce, and friendly staff.

A full organic section, excellent selection, a ton of ice cream, vegan and vegetarian foods, plus a bathroom! What more could you want from a market? Be careful, stock can run out right quick!

Stop & Shop is very convenient for me, unfortunately the help is nothing but a bunch of morons and the managers of the same.

I was simply looking for garlic bread. One lady couldnt even be bothered to stop and answer me walking away talking over her shoulder at me which didnt help one bit. Luckily I found a young man who asked the manager and found the bakery was on the opposite side of where they traditionally are in most areas of the country, next to the produce and meat.

U can find kosher products.

Friendly staff, fesh produce and easy fast check out, wvwn when busy its pretty fast here.

I really like this stop & shop better than the one in my area, this location has a large selection of organic foods at a reasonable price point. Its well stock all the time, check out lines move quick, depending on the time you go thats what determines if its busy or not. I have 2 stop & shop near my house and I go to this location that says a lot.

I noticed that much of the stuff here you can get from nearby walmart, price rite, and even whole foods, at considerably lower prices. It is nice however, that the sales sometimes are worth it but more often than not, its a few cents off the already overpriced item. You have issues when whole foods has items cheaper.Secondly, theres very little parking. They have the bike rack right against the building which allows only for a single bicycle to park adequately. On top of this, the smoking section is a foot away - disgusting. Could just solve the problem by moving the bike rack to a more open space or hell, just designate a car parking space for it and throw it in the middle of that.Edit: The responses comments link to feedback doesnt work. After browsing the stop and shop website for the correct link, I found an email form with a broken submit button, ie, I couldnt submit my feedback.

It is the community grocery store. I caters to the local area. Does it have everything under the sun, no. Does it have everything most people want yes! Is it easy to shop here, yes! Really can’t complain on a place that has everything I have wanted (and should expect), and doesn’t have lines, whenever I go. Between full service cash registers and self service cash registers I don’t think I have ever waited

I will be honest I only go to the Stop & Shop after my 2nd or 3rd Shift which means I catch and where its really dead. But I do have to say the fact that it is open late is a plus. The layout is very simple, organized, well-stocked, and does carry items that a lot of all the Stop & Shops may not have. And the variety of items this Stop & Shop carries accommodate all walks of life.

Big selection of everything. Compared to other supermarkets in the area this one is great. The produce section was full with fresh fruits and vegetables. Meats all looked good along with the fish department. Checking out was quick. We will be back for sure
