Recently throughout COVID, I have needed to ship a few items through this FedEx location. Each time I was lucky not to directly have Cliff, whom I believe is an assistant manager, help me, though I have had to interact with him unfortunately. The first time I was here about a month ago he was NOT wearing any mask. Though not at the counter he was in the building building boxes directly behind the counter. And in our interaction quite rude. The next two times I have been there both this week, he had a mask that did not cover his nose at all, but as he stepped back from the counter, still within sight and near his coworkers he took his mask off. I feel highly uncomfortable with this behavior. The other staff I have worked with have been extremely helpful and thoughtful with their assistance. He is the main reason the stars are low, while the other staff are the redeeming factors.
Worst time management. 8 people in line with only two employees at the counter working and the bald guy cliff having a full blown conversation with a customer about nonsense.
Team members at the FedEx on Meeting Street in Providence (PVDKO) were EXTREMELY helpful. I called in my order late the evening before and when the estimate ended up being out of my price range, staff called me back to negotiate a better price. When I arrived at the store the next morning, at 7:30 AM sharp, my print order was already ready! Staff were friendly and polite. I placed another order, this time for a banner, with short notice and again, it was ready for pick-up at 7:30 AM two days later without complications. I would not hesitate to recommend this location to others.
Great service. I called in as a regular customer to get some guidance on a prepaid return label for a special shipment. They gave me no annoying sighs and boos. I just got sent to customer circus for an immediate pickup--and had a gem of a guy help me arrange everything. I appreciate the extra patience, caring, kindness and support. I have used this location for very critical document copies and expresses and such. Always such a joy! Truly world class service in a location that serves all types and sorts as if each one is king or queen. Simply put...THANK YOU!
It’s a FedEx, what else do you expect? Pretty large store, staff were courteous and attentive.
Staff is terrible. Either disinterested and uninformed or condescending and rude.
Workers just werent wearing masks behind the counter. Couldnt send a check and held me up for 15 mins trying to figure out the computers.
Eric is awesome! Observant and kind. You will be happy to work with him
I came into the store with a package received my FedEx. I can in to return the product that was in the same packaging. It was boxed taped and label. All I needed was to drop it off. I get the the counter the assistant manager, a Caucasian young female informed me I needed special labeling. She didn’t tell me where to get the labels but gave me the customer service number to call to find out. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. I was in line for 10 minutes just to get to the counter and not even receive a full minute of service. This is not the way to assist your customers especially as an assistant manger.
Nice staff! Come here a lot and miss the old manager. Great service though.
I have been using this location for everything from printing posters (for my lab at Brown University back in the day) to making flyers (for Habib Koite concerts) and signs (for Clinica Esperanza) and they have always been amazing. There is no doubt, this is the Best Fedex Kinkos in Providence !
Express 10:30, friendly staff.
Dont come here to print. Go to Allegra on Thayer st. Allegra has better service and lower price. The FedEx staff care little about the quality of printing. I printed some invitation cards and nothing is correct. They only printed the first page of the file I gave them.
Excellent service and very helpful
With my business I am shipping documents pretty much on a daily always super helpful.
Christina Miles is amazing. Thank you for your assistance. 5⭐️ Only for Christina!
Ive used this Fedex/Kinkos multiple times to have high quality prints of artwork made. Ive always been impressed with the attentive service and quality of the product, and the store is always quiet and well maintained.
I have never encountered such as unpleasant way of being asked to leave a store because of my dog (5 pound chihuahua, completely harmless that can go in a tote bag and you cannot even see her). I only take my dog to places that do not sell food and allow them in stores (mostly everywhere in College Hill and Thayer Street area). When I go to a new place, I always check for stickers at the entrance. If they say no dogs, I do not even try to get in with her. I always ask if it is ok to bring her in, but today I was not even given the opportunity to ask as they told me to leave right away in a very unpleasant way because their company policy does not allow dogs in their stores. They did not even check if she was a service dog (it is not the case, but they could have asked: Is this a service dog? and say oh in that case I am sorry but our store policy..., as they do in other places where they are polite). Instead, they simply asked me to leave with a stern face. So... they did not got my business, UPS did and my dog few treats and a plenty of smiles. And by the way, I was going to Fedex to mail my Veterinarian Certificate to fly abroad with my dog. The website recommends you to use Fedex or UPS... they should stick to UPS instead as they are the real dog friendly company.
The worker “Christine” here was very rude on the phone and snappy. Not helpful
Hard to park but great staff, great service. lots of stock and many services available.
Unprofessional staff, ridiculous priceWe went there the third time to print and cut some invitation cards after two unsuccessful visits due to various little issues (you have to combine all your files otherwise we charge $8 per file etc.). I first asked the lady to print a black&white proof of the first two cards, then asked her to print all eight cards in color (use FIRST.pdf for proof and ALL.pdf for the actual print). They said they were very busy today and asked for my phone number so they will call me once it is ready. The phone call didnt arrive until *13* minutes before they close. I rushed there, paid $17, opened the bag, and found that there were only TWO cards. I tried to notice them of the problem, but they insisted that they were under the impression that I only wanted to print the first two cards, and if I want to print the rest I still have to pay for the additional pages AND again the cutting fee. It is also interesting that they charged me $1.5 * 8 = $12 for cutting, while for that particular layout only 6 cuts are needed. I used to print business cards at other Fedex locations and always had pleasant experience. However this time it feels like having eaten a ton of fly.
Effing morons changed the closing times from 11 pm to 9 pm but have not changed the info online. Went there at 9:02 and of course all doors are locked. What a waste of time.
Avoid if possible. Apathetic staff. Limited and restrictive printing options. (Copiers cant email, staff can only scan to USB drive). Computer fees are excessive and systems are set up to extract maximum fees by, for example, making instructions unclear, slow to load and not available until after signing on and meter is ticking.
Excellent customer service, and thank to Jame for your help.
I rated it one star because it was the lowest i could give. I tried to send a document abroad but the guy working at the place said i cant do it as there is no fedex service available where i wanted to send. I was 100% he was wrong as i send various stuffs by fedex so often. So i went to 50 Kennedy Plaza, Providence and the old lady over there just took two minutes to get it done.
Horrible service, charged me twice for a fouled job, and then made me wait for 10 minutes at the register for no reason even when I paid for the fouled work. Never again
Sadly, the staff is uninterested, unhelpful and a bit rude. I would avoid these places at all cost and use a local printer.
Every time that I have come to this location I have been helped. They may not alway have exactly what I need, but they present alternatives to what my needs may be.
Friendly staff, convenient hours & location
I called on Saturday said I need to print a label on small envelopes ask the guy ball park figure and if I can come in the today 5/28/17. of course we will get it down for you. I arrive and the personnel says...We can print on those size envelopes. Terrible!!!
Helpful and quick.
Very helpful
