Friendly environment, knowledgeable employees, and great products. Went in to buy a complete skateboard not knowing what exactly I wanted. The guy who helped me walked me through the whole process and recommended products based on what type of skating I was planning on doing. Left completely satisfied with a great board they assembled for me. Definitely going back!

Best shop ever whether youre looking for Snowboard, Longboard, or Skate stuff. Employees are super knowledgeable and helpful! Justin spent the better part of an hour helping my wife and I as we shopped for her first snowboard. He explained everything in super easy to understand terms and we left with a board and a way better understanding of the equipment in general! Also there was no pressure at all! Shop local and you wont regret it!

I love the workers here. When you are a new boarder, they will come down to your level, they wont speak fancy terms and ensure you get a board for you as a beginner. As for someone more advance they dont judge you on what you can and cant do. They like to know where you like to board, what you like to do. They build some great rapport with their consumers

I come here lots and love this place. The staff is all around great except for one. Every time I come in this one dude ruins the mood and treats me and my friends horribly. I will ask questions and he will respond so rude and will openly talk poorly about other customers with them in the store. I always love coming here but as soon as I see CJ my day is ruined. He does not have any customers service skills and I would be surprised if he actually knew something about boarding Bcs every time I talk to him someone else ends up helping me and tells me everything he said was wrong. He needs to learn kindness, respect, and more about the products you sell because he can rarely tell me any truth. I always tell people to shop here and lately have told them to watch out for CJ.

These guys know their stuff! They were super kind, answered all my questions, and gave me numerous options at different price points to fix my son’s broken skateboard. They took such good care of us, and have gained some loyal customers!

I was about to walk out but, then I saw it. The deck I had to ride. This was a great 1st visit for me. The guy that helped me was nice. He gripped my new deck and put my trucks on so I could skate right after. Good experience.

As a mom with child in tow, I was worried I’d be judged or laughed at for wanting a skateboard. The guy who helped me was so nice and made sure I was comfortable with the deck I chose and built me a good setup. The owner and his wife were very cool too and I appreciated being taken seriously. It’s been a month or two and I cruise and can almost Ollie! This place is great for new and expert boarders.

Im always stoked to have a reason to support this place. Ive been shopping here for my (admittedly infrequent) snowboarding needs for almost 13 years, and I have always gotten great service and left with something that I am super happy with. Very friendly employees, and a great selection of parts for building decks. It’s nice that they have a bunch of other assorted skate gear, too. My only quip is the lack of variety for safety gear. There are only one or two options in each category, but it wasn’t too big of a deal. The deck I got skates great, and the employees were nothing but helpful for the whole visit.

I bought my girlfriend a board for her birthday from her and she loves it! The owners are really friendly and helpful! The shop itself is fun and enjoyable to shop there!

I loved going here. Everyone was willing to help and answer questions about both skating and snowboarding and were fine letting me look alone when I wanted to. Im probably going to keep going here as long as I live in the area.

I have never felt more uncomfortable shopping at a store in my entire life. Each employee was very condescending and assumed my friends and I were stealing and did not actually have helpful suggestions for products. I would rather go to Zumiez for my board sport needs than this hostile environment.

Staff AND Owner spent a considerable amount of time helping me get equipped for a day on the mountain. The staff is knowledgeable in their products and I never felt pressured to buy. After being educated on specific products I was empowered with the knowledge and felt confident in making some big purchases. Kudos to Board of Provo. Theyve gained my trust.

I love this store and love shopping there but each time I go the customer service gets worse and worse, they followed me and my friend around creepily and when I tried to have a conversation with them they were very rude and defensive. I tried asking them about deals and one of the employees was very nice and explained what they could do for us but the rest of them were acting very unprofessional and it was disappointing because I tell everyone to shop here and knowing they treat people like this makes me regret that. Only go here if you are going to be quick in and out, they won’t offer much help and aren’t super friendly. With all the bad reviews I would think they would try to fix the trend, but like I said I have been here lots through the years and it’s just gotten worse.

I bought a great Losee board from these guys several years ago. I went back recently to talk about getting another board. I didnt buy one yet, but I had a great experience. Told the guy up front I wasnt going to buy one today and he still spent 10 minutes with me going over different styles, brands, etc. Offered to let me test some of them out in the parking lot. No pressure and great customer service. When I buy, Ill buy from them.

Great staff. I was helped immediately, they spent a good amount of time helping me build a perfect board. They gave in depth explanations of every piece of hardware or equipment, and they even discounted prices for a complete new build. I’ve spent hours on my new board today, I am extremely confident in saying it is the best board I’ve owned. Well worth the price.

Great local shop run by great people. The staff is always welcoming when I come in and theyre quick to help! Ive spent way too much money here, but still not enough. Theyve always got affordable (and carry the best) shoes as I burn through em skating and their shop decks feel, look and skate great! John the owner is awesome to talk with, hes got great experience and puts on rad skate events for the community. Hes put together an awesome skate team thats fun to watch and are nice folks too.In the winter the staff is often out shredding when the mountains get fresh snow, as they should be! They know what theyre talking about be it skate, snow, cruisers, whatever. Theyve always answered my questions well and hooked me up with whatever gear Ive needed. Gotta shout out Lukas, dude goes above and beyond helping me out! All the homies at the shop are top notch. Go pay them a visit, please support local shops, local people, local experience and know-how, you wont be disappointed.

Board Of Provo is by far my favorite gear shop.. My last visit, I went in to get a parka and it took me all of ten minutes.. I picked up a really nice 686 parka. And I couldnt be happier with my purchase.!

Super fast board wax and tune, great selection of product! Cool people who work there. I wear a size 14 or 15 in snowboarding boots and to my shock they had a few pairs in stock. Had to pick a pair up. Thank you! I will be back and reccomend to any snow, skate, longboard or one wheeler. Andy there even help me make sure it was the right boot for me and that it would work with my set up.👍👍 Heard another sales guy setting up a first timer and did a great job too. A place you can trust not to just get what is the most expensive but the right one for what your looking for.

I half expected store run by pretentious skate bros, but was pleasantly surprised. Every time I have brought my kids here, the employees were very helpful. Pretty bad experience coming here. With just looking at the responses from the owner on poor reviews its easy to see why. Several reviews reporting the same thing about not being helped or being told they would need to leave if they were not going to buy anything and instead of the owner taking accountability and maybe considering the criticism and acting on it, he decides to come up with some clever come backs and insists his store is perfect. Hes more concerned with winning an online argument on his google review page than he his about improving his store... dont shop here.

My daughter and I went to Board of Provo from Spanish Fork. The even tempered sales guy (future pilot) was not pushy, but he was able to guide us through each decision until we bought a new board by deduction. We entered the store to get their assessment of the board we bought a few weeks back, because the bushings were not performing, and the bearings were seizing. Thank you board of Provo.

Don’t listen to all of the haters because this is a good local business with good people. Some of the comments are people that don’t have anything better to do because they probably can’t kickflip so they decided to rage online. Support your local skate shop!

I support local when I can. These guys are super friendly and knowledgeable. Youll pay slightly more than online, but its critical to keep these local businesses alive.

During covid they dont let you browse. Just get on Amazon and buy what you want. Oh, and if you go in ( with a mask trying to be safe) and try to browse dont be surprised if they are rude to you and dont let you look around. Sorry for trying to support your business during hard times. Now I will never come back even during good times.

I love Board of Provo. The staff is super helpful and friendly every time I come in, and theyre never pushy or try to upsell me. Ive got a Zumiez 5 mins from my house but I still drive 20 mins to see the boys at BoP. Theyre the realest.

Just came here and got my first skateboard a couple days ago. An employee named Lucas helped me find a great board and was super helpful. The rest of the staff was great too. I’ll definitely be coming here again in the future!

I went in and bought my 1st complete skateboard in 25 years and Alex totally walked me through each step and was an expert with all the products. I went back and purchased 3 more completes for my kids and several supplies. They have the best brands and a huge snowboard selection too. Going to buy my new snowboard there too.

I do not recommend Anon M3 ski goggles. I paid $230 for the goggles and $60 for the matching magnetic mask. The first day I wore them I set them on the private restroom rack at Snowbird Ski Resort. When I picked them up to go skiing there was 2 scratch in the middle of vision that could not be removed. Ive done the same with Oakley & Smith goggles for 20 years with no problem. I took them back where I purchased them at Board of Provo in Utah and the owner said You will have to buy a new lens at the price of $110 which I did. I will never buy another item from Anon or Provo Board of Provo because of their poor service and quality. As a side note Ive spent over $3,000 at the Board of Provo in the past 3 years.The spare lens was clear for night skiing . Board of Provo did not offer me any replacement. Only suggestion was to contact Anon.

I know skate shop loyalties can be a little controversial.. but love this place. Every time I go (after looking in like 3 other skate shops) I find exactly what Im looking for. They have a great selection, and the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful.

Ive always wanted to try out skateboarding, but didnt know what I was doing as far as board selection. I came in and was immediately helped by Justin, he helped me pick a deck, trucks, wheels, and bearings. Once I did, he built the board and gripped it for me. Excellent service and decent prices. Couldnt recommend enough, I had a great time and got a great, high quality board.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff helped to build a custom setup for my sons first real skateboard. They helped us select the right size deck for him and walked us through the options and prices for the other components.They also assembled the components into a functional board and set up the trucks for his weight, etc.

I called them and received a lot of education from them about boards for my kids and for me. When we went to pick them up, they were knowledgeable, welcoming and eager to help make our experience great.

Snapped my deck and came here hoping for a new one. Walked in and looked at decks for a bit. Was hoping to get help finding a 9.0 deck. No help from an employee for about 10 mins. When one came up to me I was told if I wasn’t going to buy anything I would need to leave the store due to coronavirus. Was set on buying a board that day but they literally drove my business away. I ordered from an online company and got what I wanted. Don’t waste your time here.

I just bought a new snowboard set up from BOP. I had been doing my homework and learning everything I could about new boards I might like. I made several trips in to the shop and asked many questions before I purchased. Todd and the guys are like walking snowboard encyclopedias . I cant say enough good about my experience there.. my entire family snowbords and some skateboard. We always have a great experience at Board of Provo.

I went to board of Provo looking for a specific pair of snowboard boots that I wanted to buy. Tony sized up my foot right away and helped me skip the guessing game of trying on pair after pair to find my size. He was very knowledgeable about the brand of boots that I was looking at and he helped me narrow down my search to the exact pair that fit my needs the best. Unfortunately they did not have my size but Tony did not try to push any other boots on me that did not fit my needs. I would highly recommend Board of Provo to anyone who needs snowboard gear and might have questions about the gear. 5 star customer service.

I went to Board of Provo to try on some snowboard boots to get an idea of what I wanted. However, when I asked an employee if he would grab some boots for me to try, I was informed that they charged twenty dollars for helping customers try on boots. As a college student at the time, twenty bucks was a big deal for me. I think the assumption behind this shop policy is that if someone is attempting to use their store just as a showroom to check sizes and then order online, then at least the store gets compensated a bit. The problem is that for me, I hadn’t made up my mind if I even wanted new boots yet, I just wanted to try out some options, and so being asked to fork over some cash just to try something on was a deal breaker for me. For the record, I did end up purchasing the boots I wanted to try on that day at a local store in Sandy, and didn’t purchase them online.

This is the best board shop that I have ever been too. Staff is super friendly, and the prices are wonderfully considering its a rather small business. They only carry high quality items, which make me feel confident in whatever brand I try out from their shop. I will definitely be coming back to them next time I am in need of some gear or a new board.

The guys over at Board of Provo really have you and your riding experience in there best interest. Over the last few years I have purchased boots, bindings and a handful of other things. Every time they take the time to make sure I am getting exactly what I need to ride at the best of my abilities. John, Justin and the whole team always make sure every thing is perfect before I walk out the door. I always feel welcome when I come in. Probably the best skate shop in Utah (admittedly, there arent a lot of options in Utah). Very helpful friendly guys who just want to promote their sport. slightly more expensive than what I would have paid at another store, but its worth it for the quality experience. Ive heard mixed reviews about their snow stuff, but if you are looking for a skate board, I recommend these guys.

My husband and I came into the shop to check out some boots and snowboards. It was such a good experience. Riley was the one who helped us. We loved working with him to find our gear. He was so awesome, he answered all of our questions and helped us find the perfect boots for our price range. We loved how welcoming everyone was and will definitely be coming back.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but thought the customer service was so exceptional I couldnt pass up the opportunity to give kudos. I have an old 2004 Burton snowboard and needed bindings to fit it. Not only did John immediately tell me he could help, but took the time to explain the difference between bindings and find the ones that would work best for me. He also helped me pick out boots that would work best for my skill level and needs, then heated them to mold them to my feet. I was a little embarrassed at first to bring in such an old board, but the staff was super cool and complimentary. I never once felt uncomfortable. Board of Provo has a customer for life!!

I’ve driven past this place for a year and finally went in today. I wish I had stopped by the first time I ever saw it! Absolutely amazing selection of Board related hardware and accessories. The staff was some of the nicest, most helpful group of people I’ve met. You can tell they are passionate about the products and want to get the best fit for you. I cannot say enough nice things about Board of Provo!

I walked in a bit terrified because of social anxiety, and the guys are SO NICE. He knew exactly what I was talking about, repaired my board almost without being asked, replaced one bearing no charge, and I didn’t even have time to be anxious or look stupid. Amazing business and great selection.

We are so thankful for the help that we got at Board of Provo. They really know their stuff and helped us find the best possible boots and equipment for an upcoming board trip. Weve been to several other board shops in Park City, Salt Lake, and Provo and this is the only one that actually had the information and equipment we wanted and needed.

Took my son to look at snow boards. The sales people were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain differences between boards knowing most of their stuff was out of our price range.Sale boards were priced between $220-400. Regular boards $375-600. Bindings around $200. But large selection of clothing, boards, bindings and boots. If you want to hit mountain ready for anything, they can help set you up.

Best snowboard store hands down. They have a wife selection of boards and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for a particular snowboard chances are they have it.
