Dont get a flu shot here. Their appointments you sign up for online dont mean anything. We made appointments to get it and had to wait over 45 to get our shot because we had to wait in the same line as those getting prescriptions.

Ive been trying to get my sons prescription for several days now. I was told it would be ready after 8:00 a.m. the first day, and went in that night to get it. The drive-thru line was wrapping almost around the front of the building, and the line inside was almost to the photo counter, with people sitting at the pharmacy waiting to be called back up, so I left.The next day, I wastold that his prescription wasnt ready and they had been too busy to fill it. The staff member ridley told me that I shouldnt have come to get it since I didnt receive a text message stating it was ready, and told me to come back. I dont get text messages for this. This was over 24 hours after it was supposed to have been ready.The next day, the line inside was almost too the photo counter again, and the drive-thru was wrapping around to the front when I arrived. My son is out of his medicine now so I have to get it.I think that they should remove COVID testing from the drive-thru as this shows down the original functions of the pharmacy greatly, and being in more staff for that. If they cant do that, then the staff should help those getting prescriptions in the other line while those testing take the test, rather than sit there and wait for the rest to complete and refuse to help anyone else while they wait.The staff is incredibly rude, they assume you already know things about how busy they are, how their system works, etc., and obviously do not have the customers in mind when working. I wish there were a better pharmacy to go to.

I come to this pharmacy every 3 months for my prescriptions. I love this pharmacy. They work so hard to fill prescriptions. Despite all the abuse they incur from their patients. The employees do their best to get you in and out. Followed by trying their absolute best to answer questions that I might have. When I look into their eyes I see tired, over worked, and often under appreciated health care workers who just want to help! If you do come here for your medications and healthcare needs, please be patient with them as they too are dealing with shortages, long lines, abuse from patients and their own personal problems! But I will be coming here until the second coming for my RX’s.

Great locale in the center of most of the medical clinics and hospitals which makes it great to pick up items from their pharmacy. Ample parking during all hours, although the pharmacy can get really crowded. For some reason most oddballs in Provo tend to gravitate towards this walgreens. Could do with less homeless but otherwise great.

Worse experience ever. Never could get on hold of a real person when we called. Medication was out of stock but no one informed us until we showed up hours later to pick up prescription. Unhelpful staff told me to go from pharmacy to pharmacy to look for a critical medication needed after surgery. I would give a zero star if I could. Avoid this place.

I have been filling my prescriptions here for about 15 years. The last few months have been so horrible! When they say it will take just a few minutes then I’m waiting 45 because they forgot about me. And last month I had to come in 3 different times to get my prescription because it wasn’t ready! Don’t bother scheduling an appointment for a COVID vaccine at this location. They just make you wait in the same line as the people who are walk-ins and people who are picking up prescriptions. The line went from one end of the building to the other, and was in the aisle of the cold/allergy medicines. There were people coughing and sniffling trying to get to the medicine while we were all squeezed in line next to them. Although I had an appointment, it took about an hour to get a shot that took 30 seconds to administer. Also, they don’t have people sit and wait for a minute after getting their shot, they just send them on their way. Which was okay with me because I was anxious to get out of there! I have had great experiences with this store, just not this time with the pharmacy.

If I could give a half star I would. The only good thing about this pharmacy is that it is open 24 hours, however they were so slow that it would’ve been more efficient to go somewhere that opened at 9AM. My son has a fever and ear infection and needs antibiotics. We drove straight from the doctor to the pharmacy (in the middle of the night) knowing we’d likely need to wait. The man we spoke to at the pharmacy said it would be twenty minutes. We drove around with a screaming baby and came back 30 minutes later. Someone else talked to us and said it wouldn’t be ready for 20 more minutes. Now, two hours later it is still not ready after being told two separate times that it would definitely be ready by. I’m extremely disappointed - anyone coming to a pharmacy in the middle of the night needs their medication as soon as possible. Overall my biggest complaint is that the pharmacy’s communication was not consistent and negatively impacted us and our son.

Terrible service to busy to take number down to text when filled said it would take at least an hour so my wife and I went to dinner came back 2 hours later still not filled live in Fairview couldn’t wait around any longer they said ins wouldn’t cover one prescription bs both my wife snd I have same insurance they just covered the same prescription for me she wanted to pay cash for it clerk said it would cost $112 so we left called our home town pharmacy to move it to them they said if we had to pay it would be $12 they would have it ready in the morning Walgreens is corrupt takes advantage of people

This place is horrible! Longest lines, vaccines same line as prescriptions. Plan on being there for awhile...each time I go there, its a 45 min to a hour just for a med thats been already filled. Avoid this location at all cost!!!

Today I received the worst customer experience I can recall to date. The pharmacy technician (a heavy-set, african-american gentlemen with what appeared to be a religious hat) that helped me on my second attempt to pick up my prescription told me it would be 1.5 hours until it was ready. When I asked why it would take so long and that this is already my second visit, is there anyway to do it faster...at which time the technician responded:THIS IS NOT A TRIAGESo rude, not ok.I have mental health issues and as some may experience this as a simple insult and be on their way, this experience is going to resonant with me for some time and will likely be a topic I discuss in therapy.This man is not a professional by any means.I have seen him be rude to myself and others on numerous occasions.Future complaints to DOPL Pharmacy division will be made.Ive always gone to walgreens for Rx cuz thats where i grew up going.This was the last straw...hoping to never set foot in a walgreens again after this horrible experience.Sir, if you are reading this, I hope you feel better about yourself knowing that you caused emotional anguish, stress, and inflicted suffering on another human. GAVE THE WRONG DRUG!!!! This pharmacy is terrible. My prescription was ordered at 7 a.m. I called twice to see if it was ready yet, their automated system said no. Finally at noon, I decided to head over there anyway, and on my way I got a text that it was ready. When I got to the drive up I was told that it wasnt ready yet and they would need 10 or 15 more minutes. I said I would wait. Eyeroll.After I got back to work, I took one of the pills, and passively thought it looked different than usual. Wondering if it was a different manufacturer, I started looking at the label. The label was correct, exactly what it should have said, but the pills inside the bottle were wrong!! Wrong color and everything.I googled the pills they gave me and identified them as the anti-convulsant medication topiramate. After I had already taken one!I called the pharmacist and she was totally unconcerned and rude. She said, Youre welcome to bring them back and swap them for the correct medication. I declined. I was heading out of town and didnt have any more time for their sloooowww customer service. But I had to call back again and ask her if I would be okay, or if this drug was going to interact with my other meds (Which she didnt even bother to ask me about!). Totally irresponsible. Imagine what might have happened if I had followed the directions on the bottle, take one tablet up to three times daily as needed for pain!!!?? Scary!

Awful pharmacies. Do not come here for covid vaccine or any pharmacy needs. There are always problems. For one reason or another you wait a long time for something that takes 2 seconds. What is the point of a vaccine if Walgreens doesnt care about giving it to you. I was the only one in the store for a vaccine and was left waiting for an hour. I had problems in the past picking up prescriptions but thought they would treat the vaccine with the proper urgency.

I just had to print some photos, but they didn’t send a confirmation email that my kiosk order was received or that it was ready for pickup.Furthermore, after calling, the employee I got was rude - he didn’t explain why they do it that way and he sounded like he hated having to answer the phone. I really didn’t like that.The only redeeming quality is that their photo software was fairly easy to use, as long as you know which photos you want to print. It does take a minute to load up all the photos.I’ll probably go somewhere else the next time I need to print photos.

I usually dont mind waiting at a pharmacy cause they just seem busy. I find that this location is pretty quick but they use their consultation window for storage always having things on that counter top. It just feels a bit cheap and that their standards have slipped.

Every time I come here this is what I see. I dont know how to make it more clear that you need more employees in the pharmacy and quicker employees. I will sit there and see them chatting up a storm while there is only one person at a register. This is my third time Ive stopped by hoping to grab my prescription, but it was unsuccessful because I dont have 30+ minutes to wait. I have full time school and work. This is the line inside. You should see the line of cars outside. I am going to switch locations.

I have a prescription ready to be refilled. It was ready for pickup. I called ahead to update my insurance. The female pharmacist treated me extremely rude. She got confused because she thought I was talking about a different prescription that wasn’t due to be refilled. I tried to clarify the situation, but before she let me speak, she said “this is so wrong. Absolutely no way am I filling this”. She didn’t even say bye and simply hung up. I checked on my Walgreens app and she had immediately put back the prescription that was rightfully refilled. She also said that she was going to talk to my doctor as if she’s accusing me of trying to abuse a drug. Completely disrespectful. Prime example of absolutely horrible customer service.

Friday Nov 27 12:10PIf you are looking for a pharmacy that cares you will need to look somewhere else. Very impersonal, little empathy or concern for customers. Wednesday I went in to pick up an anti-inflammatory (not a controlled medication)for my back which was in terrible pain. They said the prescription was never called in. I called my doctor and asked if it was called and they said yes but they will try again. I called later that evening and Walgreens said their was still nothing there. I called the doctors office after hours and ask them to send it to Walmart. Of course by this time Walmart pharmacy was closed. I went in today to pick it up and they said it had already been filled at Walgreens 2 days ago. I called Walgreens and asked what happened. She gave no explanation or a desire to figure it out so it wouldn’t happen again. Rather she suggested I cancel the prescription with Walgreens and have it called in again to walmart. No “Sorry about the mix up” or “we will make sure this doesn’t happen again“. Nope, just tried to get rid of me. I have been going to this Walgreens for years. The long lines due to being short staffed or employees socializing is very inconvenient. Bottom line, Poor customer service. If you are in pain and/or need medication fast, you might need to look somewhere else.

When I arrived, the line to the pharmacy stretched from the back of the store all the way to the front. I waited in line for 30 minutes which would normally be fine, but there was one woman in the line who was clearly having trouble standing, and another person who it looked as though they had recently been in a car accident who needed their prescription filled. When I finally got to the front desk they told me it would be 30 minutes but it ended up being 45 minutes. All of the workers were very polite and very kind but they all looked very overworked and stressed. I feel the care that I received was unacceptable as all the other Walgreens Ive visited have had very good customer service and wait time. If this Walgreens could just employ more pharmacy technicians, I would consider returning. Again, the workers were great there was just not enough of them.

Gave three prescription tickets to be filled. They gave two tickets back for some reason but I didnt realize they hadnt given me all three tickets until I came back to pick everything up and they handed me one prescription instead of three. Ended up spending two and a half hours trying to get some prescriptions. And after that two and a half hours they informed me I would have to go to another pharmacy in the morning to fill the other two prescriptions. Unfortunately, I have to come back for the refills but after that I wont be coming back to this Walgreens. Incredibly frustrated.

Waited 30 minutes at the window for them to figure out why I was paying for my son’s antibiotics when I had already met my out of pocket max for the year. After all that they “looked into” I still had to pay and just went with it cuz it was 11 PM and needed to get him home. Finally got home and opened the bag and found that it wasn’t even my son’s prescription. Just a name that was very similar. What was the point of me verifying my address and giving her my prescription card and all the other dumb questions she asked? My son doesn’t have attention deficit disorder...just an ear infection!

I have lived in Utah county for over a year now and have tried a few pharmacies, including other Walgreens. The staff here are exceptional and most of them seem to be genuinely concerned with my needs and do their best to meet them as quickly as possible. It is one of two in Utah that I am aware of that is open 24 hours a day, if you do come during late hours they are usually short staffed so be patient.

Usually a bad experience coming here. We tried calling before we got there to let them know my son won’t take bubblegum flavored medicine, waited on hold for 20 minutes with no answer, gave up (we had arrived at the drive thru with only one car in line ahead of us), waited 10 more minutes, then found out they had flavored his medicine bubblegum. They offered to re-mix it, but asked that we drive around and get in the back of the line. By then, there were at least 4 cars in each lane and only one tech working both sides. I tried explaining that myself and three of my kids had strep, I had a newborn who was about to wake up hungry any minute, and we still had a 30 minute drive to get home, but she was already helping the next customer. By the time she got back to us, she was almost done mixing it, so luckily we avoided getting back in line, but she did inform us that they needed to charge us extra for switching flavors. Ridiculous. She put points on my account to make up for it, hence two stars instead of one. She was nice, but they are very understaffed.Another experience was with tamaflu. We were charged a ton for it when they were the only pharmacy open, but the next day when another family member needed it, we got it for $11 a different pharmacy 😳 such a rip off.

Is there something wrong with Walgreens when they advertise their store as 24 hours seven days a week and the pharmacy and it’s closed on a Sunday but it clearly shows on the website is open even on Google maps it takes you all just a few minutes to update it. But it takes me as a customer 40 minutes to get to you for something I need and can’t get I have driven to two pharmacies today both showing the same exact results not open

Rude, inconsistent service from the photo department. Extremely pushy when trying to cancel an order, saying I needed to come pick it up because the associate worked hard on it, even though I had received a call the night before saying that the project could not even be completed. Wish I hadnt placed an order in the first place knowing that this would happen. Highly disappointed. Recommend taking things less personally in future communications with customers.

How is it possible to give a controlled substance to someone who’s name it’s not under? No ID needed? Ask this Walgreens how they figure it out, but then again you’ll be on hold for 10 minutes. This Walgreens has actually done this a few times, they are a pain to deal with and they are unprofessional at resolving the problems they seem to create. Came in with a client of mine, it was 530 and a knew it would be a bit of a wait decently busy, very helpful and friendly said her prescription would be ready in 30 minutes.My client takes their meds at 6 and I knew we where cutting it close, they had also not eaten yet as we went from instacare straight to walgreen.Decided not to take them home and wait in the store. mistake on my part 40 minutes later we came back to check the electronic board and their name was still not present. Waited in line to double check. About halfway through the line it popped up and showed another 40 minutes added on to what they originally told me.Needless to say I was frustrated and here I am. Could have taken them home to have a meal and meds.

The bad reviews on this place must be old. I actually had to go in to get passport photos just a couple weeks ago and the lady did it very quickly and treated us well. We also used the pharmacy--which is in fact a 24-hour pharmacy, and the only one I know of in provo--to get a medicine refill. It was quick and they were also very courteous. They have earned my business and I recommend them to my friends and family.

The pharmacy doesn’t ever answer the phones and they somehow lost my prescription. I called my doctors office to figure it out and the nurse who helped me said that the Provo Walgreens is basically the reason she has a job because she’s always having to call and straighten things out with them. I’ll be going to CVS from now on. I’d advise the same for anyone else in the Provo area.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I fill an important prescription here every month on the same day at the same time. Theyve had it in stock every time for at least six months now. I always call to make sure they have it before I go in. I called tonight and was on hold for 20 minutes before someone answered. I asked if they had it, and he pretty much cut me off and said Nope. We dont have any. The closest store that would have it is in West Jordan.Me: Oh, well when will you have it in stock?Guy: We never carry it. We havent for months.me: Well thats odd because I fill it here every month. Including last month.Guy Nope I just fill in here and from what I know we never carry it. I get a prescription filled once a month here. They have the best genetic brand of what I get, and theyre 24/7. I dont think Ive ever been able to just drop off and pick up. There seems to always be a miscommunication between staff, and something always goes wrong. I feel like one of the tech know what theyre doing (thanks Raul), and the rest struggle. Calling in for information rarely works too. I get a different response on the phone than I do at the counter. The techs just need to communicate needs with each other!

Having the drive through window is nice. They have a better selection than some pharmacies. Sometimes theyre nice, sometimes grouchy. They cant seem to handle my transfers from another pharmacy nor refill when they tell me they will. A bit more expensive.

There was one time when I was so sick and waiting in line for the pharmacy feeling like death and it seemed to take a particularly long time, but other that that one experience they are usually pretty quick. UNACCEPTABLE!!! The insane wait times to get a prescription here are NOT OK!!!!! HIRE MORE STAFF. I waited in line for 50 minutes inside, for a script that was already ready. Trying to avoid the crazy long drive up line. My frozen groceries in my car melted. The pharmacy employees always seem annoyed & are rude. They never seem to know the answer to fix the problem. Ever since Walgreens absorbed all of Rite Aids customers it takes a minimum of 30 minutes just to pick up a prescription that has already been filled. Ive come in the afternoon and the evening on different days and its still the same. They either need to hire more people or the scheduling manager needs to schedule more people for each shift.

I had a terrible experience with one of the passport photo workers. I did escalate to management and they offered a refund (I paid 12 dollars, and they gave me a 20 dollar gift card). While my first experience was unacceptable, I am very pleased with the way management called me back and took initiative to make up for the incident.I realize sometimes the staff on one incident are not indicative of what the store really is. While initially I gave a 1 star review, I will escalate it to 4 due to the management following up and compensating me in full, and then some.

I like Walgreens but this one is a joke.I needed the fax # for a request that I sent off two mos previous to that with no response.The mgr gives me ther store #, not their fax #.I call back and am transferred to three different people, and a nice long wait, because no one knows the fax # there.Its a fairly easy thing to answer.Tape the fax and business # to the work phones so you can give your customers simple, accurate info.This store stinks.

What is the point of a 24 hour pharmacy if the staff is unwilling or unable to answer their phones? I waited 30 minutes on hold for a simple question, having my friend call from a different phone to hear different hold information. If you want to get these guys to answer, you have to call a different 24-hour location in the Salt Lake area and get them to transfer you directly. Otherwise, I dont know how long youd end up waiting.

I try to not give negative reviews if I can help it but we have had pretty negative experiences here with the pharmacy. Misleading about how soon prescriptions will be ready, and exceedingly slow to fill them. This is the fourth and last time I’ll Use this Walgreens, at least for pharmaceutical needs.

This place is hit or miss, I feel like they never have enough people working at the pharmacy so it often gets really backed up with crazy wait times this includes both the drive through and in store counter.

Do not, I repeat do not use Walgreens pharmacy. Last night I took my daughter to the urgent care and they prescribed her an antibiotic she needed to start ASAP. When I got to the pharmacy on columbia it too 15 min for the pharmacist to come to the window. He then told me there was an issue with my insurance and it couldn’t be fixed till morning. Fast forward to 9am past a night of a screaming toddler and I go back and the pharmacist was just an idiot and didn’t bill it correctly. Now they can’t find my prescription so they ask me to get the prescription numbers for them and come back in 30 min. Come back and they now say it’s gonna take 30 min to bill insurance, come back AGAIN, they need another 35 min only one is done and they’re working on the other one. Meanwhile toddler was supposed to have medication at 1am. Here we are 11 hours later and no meds. The worst experience I’ve had with a store bar none. The only redeeming they have is their cashier NOEL who gave my tired grumpy and sick kids candy to help them stop screaming.

When the guy at the pharmacy desk says: You shouldve had that sent to RiteAid. Weve been so busy., it doesnt inspire a lot of confidence for my visit. The young guy at the desk has zero empathy towards patrons. Hes defensive and refuses to show any decency when things go wrong on their end. Telling me all about how people yell at you and you get blamed when its not your fault isnt appropriate. Especially because youre doing it to prevent ME from being upset that MY prescription isnt found. Its 11pm at night, Im 8 months pregnant and this medicine is for my 23 month old child in the car. Of COURSE Im going to be upset that you dont have my prescription. I just paid for an after hours visit to get this for her and youre telling me you dont have it. With tears stinging my eyes, I felt super composed given the circumstance, but you just kept defending yourself and making my reaction out to be an attack on you. I dont appreciate it and I strongly suggest you go into a different career where you arent dealing with sick, angry and/or upset people all day long. Go some place where rainbows shine and the sun never sets.

Was given the run around today. Got there and they said my prescriptions in the West Jordan location which I haven’t used for 2 years. Was told to come back in 30 mins after I confirmed over the phone that it’s ready. Ok I got to Walmart shop come back and still not ready. Told to come back in 15 mins. They are unorganized. Had to literally scream for the guy to hear my name. He’s either deaf or they need a speaker phone loud enough outside for them to hear us.

I recognize most probably won’t have this issue, but am posting for the owner to just be aware of why they lost a customer/if any other customers experience the same thing.I switched to Walgreens after the Rite Aid closed down. I love that they are open 24 hours, and wish I could still go there for that very reason. But I had too many issues and have switched to CVS.I am on a high dose of medication (been on it for years) and apparently my insurance flags it or something. One Walgreens employee went the extra mile and went to my insurance website and figured out how to make it go through. Turns out it was just a few key presses. She said she notated in my account how to take care of it. But other employees in subsequent visits couldn’t figure out how to get my medication to go through.Tired of not being able to get my medication when I came for it, i switched to CVS. One employee at CVS got snagged with the same thing, but he figured it out in 5 seconds. Since then it has been smooth sailing.

The older woman at the photo booth in the evenings is very rude and condescending! I will never come here for FedEx deliveries again because of the way she treated me. She should not be working with customers.
