This place is small but is so darn clean and the prices are amazing. They staff is friendly and I love how organized they are. They have various binders for magic cards labeled and different prices (ie 1 dollar) and will charge you a dollar per card regardless of that cards actual value. Amazing place to be in general!
New owners are very attentive and help you out quickly. Not only do I play 3+ trading card games, they also have a growing fighting game community! They have the nicest tables Ive seen at a game store and you can really tell they go above and beyond for their customers. Will recommend to friends and family
This little card shop is awesome!Omar is so kind and welcoming of new players. Good selection of MTG cards. Amazing tables to play games on.They also support the new(ish) Flesh and Blood TCG and have a thriving community for it! Omar was so nice to my wife and I when we came in to check it out, very supportive and helpful.Their board game selection needs some work but thats my only critique. I did see a copy of good critters so at least they have good taste! I also saw a nice selection of D&D books. Store was clean and seems like a chill place to hang out.
Very fun place to hang out with friends, meet new ones, and start, develop, and continue hobbies such as different trading card games or Dungeons and Dragons. Ive met some of my best friends here in Provo at this location. The staff are extremely friendly and social. 10/10 would recommend.
Great fun and chill place to play some games and shop. Really felt peace and comfortable in a fun and welcoming environment by everyone their including the owner doing his job and so nice and forward with everyone! He was very inviting and kind and I plan on visiting in the future way more:)
Absolutely amazing place run by great people and helpful customers. Love it so much. I dont know how much it matters but you earned a regular out of me!
New owners! WAY BETTER experience. This store went from a meh store, to the best trading card game store in Utah. They got my business for life.
Great place! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they dont have it, theyll order it. Good prices.
Really friendly guys working there and theyre always willing to help newbies with any game: Magic, Yugioh, Weiss, and Flesh and Blood are the biggest games here and they are always ready to help.
Clean bathroom, and great bulk binder. They also have very comfy tables and chairs which make sitting there for hours actually something I can do for commander night. Not as many people as I would hope for commander night, but the peeps there were really nice. I intend to keep going for the time being.
Awesome game store! Our go-to spot for Magic: the Gathering purchases, playing, and events. They also have a ton of other games, like the new tcg Flesh & Blood, and they seem to be the only game shop nearby to carry it. Their prices are great and they are always willing to trade with you for a fair value of in-store credit as well.
Great service, awesome people. Definitely a great shop.
Nice people, need more inventory and diversity.
Really cool little shop. Great community, the shop really makes any effort to get people playing games
A much better place than the previous Game Den. Prices are fair, atmosphere is great, and all of the people are helpful. And, they dont rip you off like a certain other nearby store...
New owners! WAY BETTER experience. They got my business for life.
Very nice store for card games. Staff is super friendly and help you out.
Inventory is a little sparse, but they swear it is because they keep their prices so low it flies off the shelves. I got a very pretty set of dice for much cheaper than Dragons Keep.
Great place that has really friendly workers. I would highly recommend going here
A clean, well-lit place to cast spells. Bathroom is clean, tables are glossy and beautiful. Chairs are comfy. Staff are honest, friendly and helpful. Great place to go and play games. 😁
One of the best stores Ive been to
Love the place! Neffi is an amazing guy. The people are friendly the atmosphere is awesome. I love coming here.
I dont make it down to Provo often but when I have an errand I try to stop into this place. But seeing that not a single person was wearing a mask in there employee owner or customer made me turn around before I even opened the door. There is no signage to inform customers that masks are required which goes against the local mandates. As someone with immunocompromised family and who is high risk this is irresponsible and dangerous.
The best place for MtG in the Provo area right now. A welcoming play group for EDH particularly, very reasonable single prices for sales and buying, and they charge reasonable prices for sealed product. Definitely the place to play. Drop by and just hang out some time, or slap some commander with the guys.
Small shop so a smaller selection of games and things. But the tables were great. The employee was informative and helped answer all my questions. Good atmosphere would come back again.
This place is dope! The owners are super chill and super welcoming. Also, its not creepy like a lot of other card/game shops. Its clean, well maintained, and just has a great environment. I would recommend them 10/10 times!
Worst Game store in Utah county. This is what a store about to go out of business looks like. Less relevant games than I could count on one hand, they rely wholly on an old boys club, and have no business strategy for attracting new customers. The employee made it clear they purposefully chose to reduce the product lines they carry, removing board games, puzzles, card games, role-playing, and table top hobby games. All they carry are collectible trading card games. The store looks barren. About 80% of the store is empty space, with one counter of product. This is a travesty, and the tragic conclusion of a store that listens to its vocal live ins, and not the customers dollar.
Owner is friendly. People are nice. Tournaments weekly for Yugioh and Magic. Has a station of smash bros for those not playing or just wanting to chill. All around one of my favorite hang out spots.
The employees are really nice and can help you with anything, and it’s pretty organized. They have tournaments around twice a week for each card game and then some game nights on top of that. Great place all around. Would recommend to everyone
Clean, setup is really nice and staff is very friendly and helpful. There really cant be enough good things said about the tables themselves, do yourself a favor and ask about them.Could use more product variety, but I am sure it will come with time.
This place is great! They have really good magic the gathering collection and the staff/store is really nice. Ten out of ten. 👍
The employees are super helpful and really friendly. They make sure anyone needing stuff is taken care of but if they have time they’ll play magic with you too which is super cool. Their prices are better than any other game store nearby that I’ve seen and they have a great selection. I come here often and recommend it to anyone into strategic card games or board games.
This place blows my mind the owner made 12 wooden tables from scratch with cool varnish excellent for kicking trash in magic the gathering, dragon ball, or whatever game you play. I havent played in such a long time but it blew my mind how awesome the owner was and how he had created this this cool game den and attracted all of the local talent to play there.
Best game store ever! The owners are the best, they always have great deals, and they always include and talk to everyone. They have literally the cleanest LGS Ive ever been in which is amazing. I go at least once or twice a week and love supporting them.
I went there recently. Pretty chill environment. They are gamers first, and store owners second. So you probably wont get the same experience that you may expect from other table top stores in the area. They seem to be not as profit driven.Definitely go there if you want better prices (and a little room to negotiate price; they are more willing to do that than most other places).
Solid location, great tournaments and awesome staff. I think that purchasing hand sanitizer bottles for each table would be better, and limiting player entry for events to help prevent the spread of covid 19.
Friendly owners. Large selection of cards!
Amazing selection and the staff are great people. The community in this store is also very friendly. Great play environment.
Have only been in a few times, but the employees are always very friendly and generous. The store is small but clean and nice. Great place to play Magic!
Game Den is by far the best Brick and Mortar game store in Provo. Their prices are very reasonable, their shelves are always stocked, and their staff is very friendly. They are always willing to take the time to answer questions or even explain how a game is played. The clientele is also very friendly, welcoming, and inclusive which can sometimes be a rarity given the fact that so many dedicated gamers frequent the shop.Furthermore, if they dont have the game your looking for, Dan will order it for you. When Im looking for a game, Game Den is always my first, and usually my last stop.
Great place to hangout and play games
The staff at Game Den have been playing games for a long long time. They know their stuff and know what’s good to play. They also have better pricing than any other store around town.
Good to play games, lots of open table space. They also seem to carry some cool games (I mostly played with friends, so I didnt look too hard at the selection)
Great place if you are into tcg games
Super friendly staff, really clean open space to play games and a great atmosphere. Good selection of games and it is THE PLACE in Provo for Magic the Gathering and other game tournaments
Great place. Love the atmosphere, and the people working here are really nice.
I love this game/ card store there are so many fun events that happen every single day (except Sunday) that happen that include magic players to board game players
Great staff, clean, good prices! This business is not affiliated with the store of a similar name that was located at Provo Towne Center (which has since gone out of business). Several negative reviews were inaccurately attributed to this business. This store has only been open for about 6 months, so any review older than that was actually for the store that went out of business at the mall (no affiliation whatsoever).
I love this place. I just wished it looked a bit more clean, but their service is amazing.
I love this place. I lost all my games, but it was such a great atmosphere!
I like a lot. They are friendly and helpful. The people who go there are nice. It is also pretty clean and open feeling. Recommend!
Game Den is owned by some very friendly people and their Yugioh games are pretty well attended! Prizes for winning are nice too.
Great place to hang out, friendly owners
Easily the best store to get your TCG and board game needs the owners all seem genuine and always aim to please and make a connection eith the customers.
This place is a blast! Their product is EXTREMELY reasonably priced, almost on par with internet prices (something Ive never seen before in a brick-and-mortar game store), so it makes it *very* easy to support your local game store, and they definitely deserve the support: friendly staff, lots of events, and very knowledgeable, and if they dont have it in store theyll always order it for you. Give them your business! :)
Great staff very friendly and helpful. Good selction overall great experience.
I can only help but think many of these reviews are friends of the owner/employees or relatives. This place is horrible! I have tolerated it until now. I came in on 9/20 at around 7:15 or so. I was greeted by one of the employees who asked if I needed anything, I told him I wanted to look for some common and uncommon magic cards. Well that night was some kind of Super Smash Brothers game party. He seemed put off that I was there because he said he couldnt go play if I was there to look through magic cards. I just wanted to relax and look at some magic cards after a long day and some much deserved time away from my kids.I would have been in and out if the magic boxes were actually labeled right. Because they were not I was there for a good 45 min for 8 cards. While in the middle of me looking the employee was approached by one his friends asking why he was not playing. He said, very loudly, I cant because of one customer. one customer! Pointing to me. Not only does that ruin my relaxing night, but its EXTREMELY rude. I ignored it and kept looking. He then asked if I needed a certain block. I said no at which point he just hovered around me trying to rush me up. I only bought the cards because I spent the time looking, which was way overpriced in my opinion. The owner needs to teach some customer service. Even just a little bit. Work is for work not to play games. Every time I go there they are always just playing games. I wont be going back to this place ever again. These employees need a crash course on the real world and how to interact with living things. Didnt up their customer service and are no out of business, good riddance!
Employees are super friendly and helpful, there are a lot of tables for playing games, super great atmosphere
Nice little card shop with the most friendly players and employees
Such a great place to play DnD
Great prices. Often very closely priced to Amazon without the inconvenience of the two-day wait.
Game den is pretty much THE PLACE, the only things i wish were there were manga and video games but thats not the purpose of this place. Ive been here many times mostly to buy mtg cards and play it with my friends, the staff is very accommodating and friendly, another plus is that dragons keep smells like sweaty nerds and game den doesnt. I feel like its the upper class of gaming. I fully support game den!
Very large assortment of non-standard tabletop games, but the staff is absolutely atrocious. They are always playing games and seem irritated and completely put-out when you want to purchase or rent a game. They also dont offer to help even when they saw me standing next to the checkout counter, I had to go out of my way to call attention to him to ring me up.The back area smells like body odor, but not too bad compared to some other gaming stores that have tables to play on.
Great service, and all prices are marked down from retail. Lots of tables to play anything you like.
I havent had an experience with employees as rude as the employees at the Game Den in any other shop Ive been to and Ive visited hundreds of game shops. Terrible first impression and low event turn out. Id recommend going to one of the other local establishments.
Cool staff, chill environment, awesome store.
Cool place with even cooler people.
I mainly go to Game Den because I play Smash Bros there every week for a small local tournament, but Ive found some other neat things. The service is alright, but its mostly all on you. Game den is a mini-mart of all things for the stereotypical geek. There are board games (I cant name any, board games are not my specialty), card games (Cards against Humanity, Magic, YuGiOh, Avalon, etc.), and all your dice from d4 to percentile. They even sell those $4-$8 fancy chessex dice.
I like the card and game selection but I wish they had Warhammer stuff. The employees were friendly.
Didnt spend much time there but they have a decent selection and good prices!
Went there to play some warmachine and hordes and though ppl werent in that day to play i had a great talk with some other ppl and the store worker! Ill definitely be coming back there!
Good store. However I always to wait to get helped because the cashier is always playing games.
Pricing in line with Amazon, but you dont have to wait for shipping. Love the discounts.
Run by the most understanding people
Great prices and friendly, helpful staff
Mostly card games and the like, if you are into magic, or other card games this is the place for you
Great owners, fun place!
Very friendly and welcoming environment
Sweet and chill
Well
