Everyone there was efficient and were constantly making coffees for either the drive through or those customers coming in and drinking in their outside accommodations yet both times I ordered coffees, etc, they made them REALLY well ( I am a coffee LOVER) so its really important to have great tasting coffee. No indoor seating is allowed ( though I have seen cafes elsewear that have been able to accommodate indoor seating - by having people 1 person constantly cleaning off tables that have been used)- but alas, apparently Starbucks doesnt want to accommodate its customers THAT much! Like take your coffee & good food & just leave)...but 1 can sit outside ( in the Floridian heat). Theyre lucky they have GREAT employees that know how to make good/very good coffees ( I had 2 large 3 shot latte & my husband had food.)

Fast, friendly service when I use the app. My order is usually always right. Just sometimes theyre out of bagels or avocado spread. A nice option when available.

Visiting from out of town and had the best experience ever!!! So theres this kid, Evan, who works here. Hes absolutely the best employee and I hope his employers know how lucky they are to have him! Wow! What a breath of fresh air! He was so so helpful and amazing with customer service!! Its something that you cant teach and its so hard to find!! Ive had a lot of employees in my lifetime and would hire him in an instant! This kid is going places!! Best of luck! Go to this location for this!! Might be 1300 miles away but will be back!!

Very nice people even when crowded.

Ive had mixed results here. Sometimes they fill your cup far short of the top. Sometimes the drink is just 90% milk with a slight taste of coffee. Other times it has been good! So if it needs to be right, I wouldnt count on this one.

Nice location, nice building, limited tables for outside seating. Its too bad this Starbucks is not ready to get back to work. Most other food places at least allow limited tables on the inside, its too bad this Starbucks does not. Ninos Bakery and Resteraunt is a good alternate, and they are open.

I absolutely love coming to Starbucks they are amazing. This morning however the lady taking my order was very rude, my drink wasn’t filled all the way and my order wasn’t right.

OMG it smells so delicious when you walk in, so inviting. My visit went very well it was busy about 10 people in line. It went very fast I was in and out in less than 10 minutes for how busy they were. Staff was very friendly, however I think the music was too LOUD. I couldnt hear them call my name when my drink was done. And my coffee was very delicious unlike DD you actually taste coffee not flavored something that tastes like coffee.

I have been there many times since opening. Staff is polite. However, I order a venti vanilla chai tea hot and it tastes like dirty water. There’s absolutely no flavor. I’ve even asked them to do something as I explained what issue was. After waiting 15-20 in drive thru absolutely no time to go back through. Definitely not worth almost 6 bucks each time. Very disappointed as it’s one of my favorite drinks. I won’t be going back.

I know that people are trying to be careful of Covid 19. I was at this starbucks... they had the dine-in area totally close off... so, I get it. But the chairs outside where killing my back... so I asked if I could use a chair from the inside, that I might sit and enjoy my coffee while I read. I was told know because they didnt want the chair to get damaged. With everything going on... I thought they may want to use a little more customer service. I would have been careful, I could not sit in the chair outside, it really hurt my back. I wish them the best, but I will not be back. Sorry.

Ordered an iced chai tea latte with honey only to find honey packets inside my drink.

Only doing carryout due to Covid-19. Unfortunately, the managers seldom have enough carryout trays so you have no way to carry out your order. The orders that they are losing due to this issue are large expensive ones. Needs new management!

Great service inside but everytime I go through the drive thru here theres an issue...with the cars going the wrong way down one way strips. Today I was almost hit by an elderly woman turning down into a one way I was coming out of..then a red car just didnt bother to read where to drive for the drive thru and skipped 6 cars in line. Kind of insane of a parking lot.

There are 7 people working and everyone but one person is making drinks. One is wiping the counter whike This has to be the most unorganized starbucks i have ever been to. It wasnt until they had 4 people waiting for drinks that they had one other person start making drinks. The other 5 were still doing nothing.

Went there today for a coffee after dinner. It was raining very heavily, so we ran in to get out of the rain. They had signs on every table announcing there was no seating inside. We asked if we could sit inside due to the rain. We were told that there was no indoor seating!!. Now remember you can sit inside McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, and every other restaurant in Punta Gorda. Are you telling me that Starbucks cannot afford to hire someone to wipe off the tables there? Just shows they do not care about their customers. Just go outside and drink your $5.00 coffee in the pouring rain and have a great day!!

You’d think after being open for over a year that they’d have it together by now but I guess not. I go to this one because it is less than a mile from my house but I guess if I want my drink made correctly I’ll have to drive to the kings highway location because almost every time I go to the Punta Gorda one my drinks are made wrong. Its not that hard to make someone’s drink properly.

Clean and spacious Starbucks. Mobile order was a bit slower than normal because of the massive amounts of orders coming in through the drive through, but it wasnt too long of a wait. Staff was friendly. Overall a good experience and a good Starbucks.

Literally one of the worst locations Ive ever been to. After the very first visit its been poor experiences every single time thereafter. Their Frappuccinos are very poorly made and pretty much are water. The staff has never gotten one single of our coffees correctly. And have even gotten four out of four of our items messed up before and as we drove her away frustrated the cashier started to apologize and the manager looked at the cashier and said dont. After spending $11 today on two coffees one tall one Grande and receiving another poorly made pathetic excuse for a Starbucks coffee this is my last visit. Whats the saying fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I think after the 10 try Ive given enough chances11/3 gave them another try and this is worst, MORE than the last GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

Went to be the new Starbucks location in Punta Gorda for the first time! !! Well designed, bright and comfortable tables and seating. Friendly, attentive staff. One of them even took my photo for my family back in Canada to see. Had a Sumatra coffee in my traveler and bought Sumatra beans for my French PM. Finally gr8 to see Starbucks open in PG.

This new Starbucks is only 2 miles from our house. We have now tried it 4 times. I know they have a learning curve, but somebody needs to audit their training. I can overlook learning new procedures, but to have lousy drinks every time is bad. Took drinks back but barely improved them. We will drive 13 miles to the Target in Port Charlotte to get great drinks from now on.

The service was horrible, when we were ordering the person on the other side was rude and when we got our drinks the lady didn’t want to give a straws to us, when we needed one. Not only that on top of it when I got my venti drink it was filled up 3/4 of the cup.

Ive gone several times to this Starbucks and they cant seem to get it right. I always get cold foam on top of my latte but they never blend it long enough so the drink is essentially just a cup full of milk. This morning I couldnt even drink it.

I have given this location chance after chance but the quality and quantity for that matter is usually very disappointing! For starters, they never fill the cup all the way! I pay for a venti and end up with a grande. Apparently, if you want whip cream this means you forfeit most of your latte. The other issue is the recipes are not being consistently followed. Its either too bitter, lacking whatever flavor syrup you ordered, or it is too milky and no espresso. The prices are too high for these constant problems! I will be making mine at home from now on. Ordering here is too much of a headache, which is sad because we have waited a long time for a Starbucks in PG. 😢

Yet again, another poor quality set of drinks...I have no choice but to admit that I am fool for having allowed myself to be subjected to this fakakta service as many times as I have. I contacted corporate as I asserted I would after my last review. It has been a week and no word from the district manager. The morning shift does a pretty decent job but I think from now on I shall avoid this location anytime after noon to be safe. I hate wasting my time and money.OLD POST: It is getting really old that this location struggles to make drinks as ordered. I am also contacting corporate. This is unacceptable. Period.

Under covid its still really inhospitable...the interior is still all stacked up and the price of coffee is several dollars more expensive then ten years ago though they sell the same coffee...the people watching is really scary...all have to be blonded and collegiate in some way so God has to help you if your hungry their deprivation was called a keen gender superiority when they have medical owners that drug them that way....the whole area prohibits smoking so there is only one or a usual scary angry sociopath that never leaves being interned to the area...and all the other homeless have to vacate for citizen no one normal to claim he owns 4 places to get a coffee...i had water though and covid shut downs at least made them address their areas as noise pollution...

Comfortable and open on Christmas day. They bag up used coffee beans for gardens if that interests you.

Starbuck has done an excellent job creating a gathering place in Punta Gorda. Bright and comfortable. Oh, and they have coffee.

Just went through the drive thru and the girl at the window never said hello, or “have a nice day” when we left. Was on her headset taking an order the entire time and handed the drinks out to us without even looking in our direction. My boyfriend said “she’s young and didn’t know any better” so sick of hearing that excuse when someone is dismissive and rude. If she’s young and “just doesn’t know” maybe Starbucks needs to make sure she is trained correctly. Next time I’ll save myself $5 and go to the Dunkin Donuts up the street where they actually acknowledge you in the drive thru. Over priced coffee at Starbucks, now awful customer service.
