DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! YOUR HEALTH DOES NOT MATTER TO THEM! I hope that the prescriptions ahead of me were for life saving medicine since that it what mine is and it has still not been filled. It absolutely sucks that most insurances pay less to pick up at walgreens bc I would not have transferred to CVS if I could help it. 72 hrs to hopefully be able to breathe again seems like a bit much.
I spent hours trying to get a prescription called in CORRECTLY from my doctor. It was called in incorrectly time after time and my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I called CVS pharmacy and spoke to Libby- she went above and beyond helping me and found my old prescription from before which was the correct one and checked my cost which is zero instead of hundreds. Thank you Libby!! Finally there was someone willing to take a minute to listen to me and help me.
I guess finding good help in Florida must be difficult... or maybe its because no one wants to work. Scripts are filled wrong. No one answers the phone. Behind the counter looks a disaster zone. Ill be switching pharmacy soon.
Poor customer drive up service due to understaffing, however customer contact is very good.
Horrible pharmacy staff. My mother came in for her vaccine and they gave her the bandaid to put on herself and didn’t speak to her at all! Do they even care about patients. If I could give a negative star, I would. Avoid at all cost. From all the other reviews, it seems like a huge problem that should be addressed immediately.
As long as you can use the CareMark prescription mail system you’re ok. If you have to rely on the pharmacy staff here to fill them, you’re in real trouble. If your Dr. calls one in in the morning you’ll be lucky to get it the next afternoon or evening. Although the rest of the store staff are very helpful, this pharmacy is practically useless!
THE WORST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!Was on hold for an hour and a half, they do not answer the phone!!!!! Went in person to get a prescription that was supposed to be ready.. Said come back in a little while, that was 11 am it is now 8 pm..No prescription.
My doctor wrote two prescriptions for me. When I got there they filled one and told me they had not filled the other one because it was really expensive. I had to go back into another line and get that one filled, and then I had to come back to the store and pick it up at another time. They made the “executive“ decision for me. My CVS pharmacy in St. Louis asked me when I pick up a prescription are you aware of how expensive this medication is. And when I tell them yes and I still want it then they give it to me but these people their reasoning was “well we feel so many prescriptions for people and then they tell us that they’re too expensive“ well frankly that’s not my problem. They really are horrible. Incompetent and lazy. Fill the prescriptions
They now have self checkout ONLY. I had 2 coupons and had to get help anyway which took longer and created a line. If I wanted to work there I would fill out an application.
This is by far the worst pharmacy anywhere. They have lost prescriptions, dispensed the wrong dosage, long wait lines and don’t check fax or answer phones. Not to mention they will tell you they didn’t receive your prescription when they did. They are so busy they say or do anything to keep the easier RX’s moving.Go to the CVS in Port Charlotte they are so much better. Always check to make sure your medication is correct. CVS needs to open more locations in Punta Gorda to take the pressure off this one. It’s not safe!!!
Waited forever to get helped in drive-through finally get helped they throw the prescription in the bin don’t say anything nor told us the total nor told us we were good to go or have a nice day.👎
I called 55 min before closing bc girlfriend needed her inhaler for the night and they said they couldnt do it because there was only two of them working... Cant believe them
Absolutely horrible experience every time middle aged Female shift manager treats employees and customers like trash and nobody has any idea whats going on in there.
Modern drug store selling a variety of nonprescription things.
Horrible experience. Only one car in the pick up lane, I had to drop off .Figured the car in front just sat there. After 15 minutes, Went up and asked and they said they were waiting for their perscriptions. Waited another 5 minutes. Was able to get the car behind me to back up so I could drop off my perscription. Had to ring the call button three times before the clerk responded. If mine wasnt ready they always asked me to go out front and someone would bring it out. This was ridiculous. Am seriously considering changing my Pharmacy..its not the first time there were delays.Have had times when the CVS app stated my RXs were ready and go to pick up and they are not.
The male pharmacist is very rude, I didn’t get his name because he threw my script back at me as he walked away saying he isn’t going to fill it. People assume people are out seeking for drugs when they don’t understand your circumstances. I would not recommend coming to this location. New to Florida and what an impression. Sad
Called twice today was on hold for 15 minutes both times no one ever picked up then called back and pressed the extension for doctors and was disconnected. Arrived at the pharmacy at 6:02 because I couldnt get anyone on the phone and they were closed and extremely flip about my situation. I called corporate CVS to complain but still am Extremely disappointed in a pharmacy that is supposed to cater and help people with their health needs was sounconcerned. I believe Doreen Lowe is the store manager. Doreen, you should be embarrassed.
The pharmacy never answers the phone. They are always way too busy and never fill prescriptions in a reasonable amount of time.
I have just been on the line for 90 minutes waiting to be connected with the pharmacy.
Tried to set appointment for testing. They give you time options that you need to select,Then after giving all of your info and submitting the form the time and date you chose are no longer available. Then you repeat the entire process and achieve the exact same failure.Complete frustration.
I have always had great service here.Very business pharmacy so order refills a few days early.
They are helpful
They have messed up on my medications so much and are rude. They dont have enough staff. Expect to wait hours inside of cvs for our medication too..
Okay. Like the remodel.
I’ve never had a problem with my prescriptions since I’ve been getting them from Cthey phone me when my prescription is ready for pickup and when one is ready for renewal5 stars
Terribly slow inside and out. Sat in the pharmacy drive through for 30+ min while my son with an ear infection screamed in the truck.
Okay. Clean.
The Minute Clinic nurse, Natalia, was awesome. The awesome person who took my prescription and the one who gave it to me were also extremely kind and helpful (hand sanitizer offered and a quick fix for a mix up). I wish I had gotten their names; they are phenomenal people! Thank you for the great service on an extremely busy day. You are appreciated!
Every single experience I have ever had here has been awful!! First time: I took my son to the minute clinic where the dr on staff told me they accepted his insurance, so I proceeded to wait the entire 4 hours it took for him in to be seen. Once we were called back, she basically took his vitals and went on to ring us up, then tells me they do not accept his insurance. I paid $200 out of pocket, then she sends the prescription literally to the other side of the wall where the pharmacy is. After waiting another hour for his prescription, they call me up and tell me that the eye drops the dr prescribed for pink eye was going to cost me another $200!! THEN the pharmacist told me I needed to call the dr myself and have her change the eye drop to a different brand that the insurance covered!! As though they could pick up the land line and dial the 1 digit extension themselves. It ended up being another hour before the PREPACKAGED eye drop and PREPACKAGED z-pack were filled and we were out of there. I swore I would NEVER step foot in there again, but then my husbands dr sent his medication there to get filled. CVS told him it would be 1.5 hrs to fill. 3 hours later I went to get his prescription for him. I waited 30 min in a line that was wrapped around the building, and when I got to the window the lady tells me that they hadnt even processed the prescription yet, and that I would need to come back later, or come inside and wait 15 minutes. I had a sleeping baby in the car, and a 7 year old, and I absolutely was not going inside to wait another 15 minutes for amoxicillin. Needless to say, she told me to go all the way back around, get in line again, and she would try to have it filled by the time I pulled back up. Ended up being a grand total of 1 whole hour in that parking lot. Long story short, FIND ANOTHER PHARMACY!! Unless of course you want to deal with incompetent pharmacists and Doctors, long waits, and being furious every time.
Called Minute Clinic and looked online to verify my child’s insurance would be covered. We were told it was so we proceeded to make an appointment for the next day. Showed up to be seen and was told no, we don’t take that insurance. Umm, ok so let me just pay for his visit then because he’s sick and cannot get into his family dr until later this week. The nurse on duty denied our payment and refused to see him stating it was “illegal for her to accept payment if he has insurance”. No, ma’am it’s not. I called the insurance office and we can pay out of pocket if we choose. Awful service and I am probably grateful she didn’t see him since she doesn’t even know this part of her job.
I have been getting my prescriptions here for years. When it was time to refill my prescriptions as last time the cause had almost increased 900%. Medication I was paying 10 $20 for was now going to be over a hundred. This is with insurance. I went to another pharmacy and was paying less then I was paying previously at CVS. Theyve lost a customer
Inconsistent service in the Pharmacy at best. Long wait times to pick up medications; poor staff attitudes; and prescriptions not ready when promised. Staff needs more training and some of the staff are desperately in need of an attitude adjustment. They need to remember they are in sales and we, the people waiting, are clients! They definitely need more & well-trained staff during season and additional service windows! The staff all need additional procedural training!I have received automated calls advising scripts are ready and then been told at the service window that they are out of stock and to come back after 5 pm tomorrow. They say they are too busy to call and advise that order isnt ready....
I was told they would prescribe me medication in a week if I was still ill. The doctor forgot to call me, so when I called to get the prescription filled they told me they couldn’t do it since the doctor I saw was out until after Christmas. So now I get to spend my holidays with bronchitis. I will NEVER go to a cvs again. That’s absolutely ridiculous and a waste of money.
Well stocked CVS. Normally very busy with sometimes only 1 person at the front. Long lines at peak hours but still a good location.
If this is not Your GO-TO Drug store, you are missing out. Try it.
Very nice CVS
Great Pharmacy.New to area from Ft. Lauderdale very polite and friendly and have all I need and gave me information to help all questions.
My wife and I have had nothing but trouble with the pharmacy and getting prescriptions filled. These people are truly incompetent! They have lied to us twice. My wife has missed her medication on more than one occasion because of them. They have lied about when they sent requests to doctors on two occasions. Today was the last straw. Gave us the wrong medication. Not ever doing business with them again. Reporting them to health department and board of pharmacists.
This CVS is the best! They have such caring and dedicated staff who solve problems and are eager to help. The suggestions and information from their pharmacy staff have been so beneficial to my family. KUDOS!
Worst pharmacy ever. They claim they can never find your profile.
Best pharmacy ever went out of their way to help!
This CVS location has terrible customer service in the prescription dept. My husband had a prescription for pain medication after a hip replacement, and they kept saying they were out of stock and to go elsewhere. We returned on the day they said new inventory was arriving, to be turned away again. It made my husband and I feel like drug addicts, and was humiliating. My husband ended up taking the 4 day ride back to our home state without pain relief. From what Ive read on the net, this pharmacy was involved in dolling out drugs to people who went to pill mills a few years ago, so tightened up their policy.Unfortunately, their suspicions toward the public makes for a very unpleasant experience dealing with them. My Dr. in Port Charlotte tried to phone in a renewal for a prescription, but they rejected him. Something is very wrong in the pharmacy dept, and it appears to be coming from the head pharmacist.
Rude and very unfriend in pharmacy, never seen anything like it
Worst Pharmacy Ever!!!!!
Fill scripts no hassle no headaches
Customer Service the best!
Very hard to get prescriptions filled here
Medication was to be sent to the nursing home 5 days ago for eye surgery. Paid for but never delivered.
Dont trust the joys here--the pharmacy part of the pharmacy is not open to 10:00 pm.
Joe the manager is very rude.
Liar! If you close at 10:00PM then why is your door locked with a closed sign at 9:15PM.
Open 24/7 cant beat that
Poor Customer service
