I personally prefer the Blue Max location in Buckley. Theyll set something aside for you if you call first. Also, the 10 pound bag of ground beef is $1.99 in Buckley and its $2.99 in Puyallup.

Quality service every single time we go! We buy meats from butcher shops as much as possible and fortunately this one is the closest to us.Employees are very attentive. I love that when you ask for something and they give it to you, they always ask if you need anything else instead of moving onto next customer.Also bonus that they have a tiny grocery section for essentials. Great place & great prices!

Excellent selection. Some pre-prepared, some not. Range of prices from low to expensive cuts. Good grill supply spot too. Sides and specialty meats available too. Staff is friendly. Super clean.

The employees are always very friendly and ready to help. I always get my bacon, chicken, Italian sausage, flank meat and frog legs. Especially my beef jerky, (original) yummy. The store is always clean and I go to both Blue Max Meats stores.

Meat, what else can you say. It wasnt crowded when I first went in but the Landjagger I sampled on the way home was so good I had to turn around and go back for more. It was a bit crowded when I went back and I wondered why they didnt have people take a number. It went pretty quickly and it was more personable this way

This place is great has good customer service and really good cuts of meat. The prices are a little bit higher but its worth it because the quality of meat is so much better than for say a grocery store.

Drove 30 minutes to pick up something after being told it was in stock. Arrived and was told by numerous employees it was available. After repeatedly letting them know I just drove from afar after being told it was there, another employee pointed at a refrigerated area and said that “it might be over there”. Found what I was looking for and then attempted to check out but there isn’t a real register in view. Had multiple people jump in front of me as well as employees bring the customers they were helping in front of me. Never even acknowledged my existence. Then followed another worker who took someone to pay to a different register tucked behind the counter. Waited in line directly behind this customer as they paid. Another employee took the customer that they were weighing their bones and jumped them right in front of me as well. Absolutely the last time I will visit this place. Apparently others know how the system works as the place was packed. For me, I’ll find somewhere else to go

Being British, buying from a butcher is a given, finding one that does things right can be a little tough in America sometimes. Ive been lucky enough to find good butchers during my travels across the country though.Ill drive the extra miles to visit Blue Max vs the butcher closer to me. No comparison really, shop is cleaner, people are more pleasant. Theres a better selection and the meats were fresher!! Good pricing! Ill continue to go here and recommend you do too. Also, they have British Bangers nice in a pinch since getting my Parkers aint an easy thing this far West.

Their selection of cuts, and seasoning are great. The staff is very attentive and offer great advice. I am glad I was able to also get some great ghost pepper cheddar cheese.

Sign on door said no more than SEVEN customer s. There were at least 20 customers in the store while I was there. Only two of us when I entered. No one restricted or asked excess people to wait outside. Otherwise great products here.

This is a great meat market. Picked up some bacon, ground breakfast sausage, Hawaiian style short ribs and chicken thighs. They have so much more, all sorts of steaks and different styles and marinates on the chicken.

This is the first time Ive ever been to a meat market. I walked in and was extremely confused. However one of the guys behind the counter was very patient with me and explained any questions I had period. He had great customer service and went out of his way to help. I will definitely be going back.

We love this local butcher! The employees are amazing as well JT at the puyallup location especially. Very nice and very knowledgeable! My only complaint is there is no “TIP” option on the receipt. I’d love to be able to kick JT a little money for his time and knowledge.

They practice safe distancing, which is great! They have a larger selection in Buckley. They did not have chicken sausages and the nest selection is not as large either. But it was quick and the prices are reasonable for todays economy.

First time at the puallup site the shrimp basket was hot and great. Today the same thing at Spanway site was lukewarm and old.

The meat was great before covid. The quality of meat has gone way down. The other thing why I am writing this review is because the last 3 times I have been in the customer service is so terrible! 3 times have the workers been completley rude! So much that I wont even go there anymore. That was my go to spot for meat! With both issues I wont be going back. Not only myself but my sister has the exact experience with them as well. So you lost two loyal customers.

We love this place, they always have great customer service and great cuts of quality meats. Tried the Kalua pork the other night, it was fantastic. We also enjoy the marinated short ribs, the smoked pork chops and the prime rib.

I will give you a 3 only because I normally like buying my meat at your place. But as we are all in a very difficult situation we are all living. Why would you try and sell your bulk chicken and hamburger for regular price, its normally 1.99 a lbs now today you want 3.99 a lbs Im sorry thats price gouging this makes me sad, I thought you were better then that

You cannot get better quality anywhere else

Almost immediately they will ask how they can help. The store front is a very, very long case of meats from sausage to brisket to rabbit and elk. They arent pushy at all as you walk around and decide if you want anything. No hard feelings if you leave without anything. They have gigantic bones in a freezer and lots of stuff in a cooler for meats people seldom order. They will custom cut for free and have a lot of smoked goods too. Wonderful place!!

Blue Max Meats is outstanding. Their customer service is phenomenal. I used to shop at Stewarts Meats but I wont be any longer. Blue Maxs employees were very friendly, willing to hold an order for me, and they even offered extra services at no charge (they cubed my order for me). Their shop is tiny but cozy and clean. They have a small section of produce which is so cool because I didnt have to go buy asparagus at the grocery store to have with my steak. Their prices are also good. I look forward to shopping here in the future. :-)

Very bad service poor choices of meat. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR ORDERS! I ordered a couple freezer packs and was shorted over half of my order and still charged full price! I will never buy here again!!

Always been quality products.

First time there today and had a great first impression! Staff was great and professional. I asked for a certain cut of meat and they went out back and cut me just what I needed and it looked beautiful will be smoking the beef plate ribs tomorrow! Also picked up some jerky and a couple smoked sticks. Do yourself a favor and grab some of that yum yum!!!

The service was great. Amazing prices. And the bratwurst were to die for along with the garlic butter chicken. Those were the only things we tried and loved both.
