Abbey Carpet did a great job. I dont recommend very many contractors these days but I would have them back if I should need them. To be fair there was a few small problems but they took care of them.

We needed to have some very old carpeting replaced and heard good things from friends about Barry and his team at Abbey Carpet and Floor. Barry came out and we talked about what we wanted,. He took the measurements and told us we would get a call when the carpeting arrived and was ready to be installed. He called and we picked a time for installation. His crew of 2 showed up right on time and installed new carpeting in both bedrooms and our utility room all in one day, removing the old carpeting and pad. They were very professional throughout and the finished job was outstanding. Very well done Abbey Carpet and Floor. I would definitely recommend these folks to anyone!!

Our kitchen floor was damaged by a leaking drain. After the plumber and restoration companies remediated the damage, Abbey Carpet and Floor of Puyallup came in and repaired the hardwood floors. The estimator was quick and professional doing his part to explain the additional work I requested. On the day of installation, their technician was nothing but FANTASTIC. He worked so hard and did such fantastic job that Id call him a true craftsman of his trade.ANY flooring we need in the future WILL be with Abbey of Puyallup. Id highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Devastated. Our family is devastated with the customer service and quality of carpet we received on our whole house carpet install. We spent over $14,000 and the project lasted more than 4.5 months. The carpet we ordered was installed even though it didn’t match at any of the seams both upstairs and downstairs. Two different colors! Then we waited for a whole house replacement but lived with our home in chaos as we waited for the second choice to arrive. No compensation for the inconvenience or time lost off of work even though Abbey was reimbursed for the manufacture error. We lost time off of work and all our traditions during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years and Valentines Day because our house was out of order! I couldn’t even get to our fireplace to hang the kids’ stockings for Christmas morning. They promised a “we are sorry” basket when it was all over that was never fulfilled. In fact, they aren’t returning our emails about our molding that was damaged during the two installs. Sad to report we can’t recommend this company after the horrible, devastating experience we endured.

Im giving 3 stars because I was impressed by how fast the contractors worked, however the carpet was left behind when it was torn up, which I had to contact Abbeys to remove it. I also had trouble with finding out what the status was about damaged material even after contacting the sells rep multiple times.

However it was created just to make me go away i firmly believe. They sent me a quote for a quartz 8.58 sq ft bathroom countertop that was $5,267.10. This wasn’t even marble. This was approx a $650 per sq ft quote. When I emailed her back to verify the amount I got no response at all. I have a 16 foot long kitchen counter and I paid less than that amount for both sides of my kitchen with install!2nd Experience- Ive been trying to reach Jim the original sales man I worked with originally for the past week and 2 days. I have already gone into the store and picked the tile I was interested in and the counter. I give up! Calling and leaving multiple voicemails, and messages with co-workers has gotten me no where. I need to order my tile asap for my bathroom. I dont know if its because I wore grungy clothes or dont appear to have much money? But I am a serious buyer and wanted the tile I had selected & the quartz counter-top. Instead Ill be going elsewhere now.1st experience-I came in months ago to look at tile, we had recently had a house fire and I needed to pick out something fairly quick. However, I am super picky and sometimes it takes awhile to find what I want exactly. Thankfully Jim was so helpful & patient taking out the samples for me to see each one with my back-splash I needed to coordinate the tile with. We are now remodeling our bathroom and I immediately went back to Jim for his assistance! We will be using them for all future flooring project, there are so many options available for wall & floor tiles.

We purchased vinyl plank and carpet flooring. The products are very good quality and reasonably priced. Our salesman Scott did very well at showing us the options based on our desires and budget. The installers were on time, did very good work, and completed on time. This was a tear out and replace job. They removed all the old materials which was very convenient for us. We did not need them to move furniture so cant comment on that but I believe they can provide that service if need be.In short, I would recommend Abbey Carpet and we will be please to use them again for future flooring needs for other areas of our home.

We loved working with Abbey Carpet! We worked with Maureen and she did a great job of listening to what we wanted and made suggestions based on the planned usage for our space. I got to walk on actual samples in the store and then she came out to my house and let me see samples against my existing furniture. The man who came to install did a great job; he was fast and went the extra mile when we discovered that the sub-floor was damaged and needed to be addressed prior to installing the new carpet. We will definitely contact these folks with our future flooring needs!

Worst experience I have ever had with a retail contractor. If you use this company be very careful. A one day job has now turned into a 4 day job that will span two weeks. The install team measured on one day, demod and installed half the house on another day, came back to finish the install and ran out of carpet. They ran out of carpet after measuring twice! Now we have to wait a week for the extra carpet to come in and be scheduled again to finish the job. Communication is horrible, you have to call them to find out what is going on with the job instead of them updating you as the customer. Completely unacceptable. Stay away from this company. I also had them bid out for a tile and marble job that I will now go to another vendor for.

My husband and I went there in early march with the intent to buy flooring for an area about 800sqft. After about 30 min of looking around and trying to get some assistance it was clear they did not want our money. They were not bussy only 1 other couple in the place, and 2 workers. now one worker was helping the other couple that was fine but the other woman kept avoiding us, so when I had enough of trying to get her attention I went to the other woman and waited quietly for a moment in an attempt to get assistance. I thought she might say something like may I help you or have you been helped yet, but no she barely to a /second to look at us and continued with the other customers she was already was helping. At that point we walked out. I have never wrote a review and was hesitant to right this one, but it has really been bugging I have never been treated like that ever in my life, and my hard earned money spends the same as the next person.

Not too impressed and heres why. I hired abbey carpets to do my flooring. They hired a contractor (who also works for Home Depot) and other companies. I thought when I hired abbey carpets, it would be them installing.The guy did an ok job. Many of the planks are creaky and a couple spots the corners are sticking up. Not impressed with the work.My main complaint is that he left my house a total mess. Saw dust covered my entire downstairs and took me forever to clean up. Also found piece of flooring in my heater vents (that Im assuming he threw down there). He works as a hired contractor and it would have been cheaper for me to just buy the stuff and hire him myself without abbey carpets. I could tell he was trying to just get the job done fast and get to the next job.I do give abbey carpet credit as they were 3,000$ cheaper then Empire.Wont be using abbey carpets again.
