I called Computer Citi to transfer data (files, passwords, pictures, software etc.) from my old computer to my new computer, and to diagnosis, update, clean, and speed up my old computer. The fix was easy and quick. Gene came to my home ($120) per hour, and his service was worth every penny. He is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

They were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The repairs were completed quickly. Prices are reasonable especially for the prompt and efficient service. I would highly recommend them for anything you may need.

Regrettably I can’t put zero stars. I took an external drive to this store and informed the kid that the file was locked via .bat and now failed to open. He elected to take a look at the drive and inform me by telephone later if there was anything they could do and what the cost would be. In about an hour the same kid phoned me and informed me that it would be 350 dollars to unlock my file. They were requesting my authorization to proceed and I declined. When I came to pick up the drive the kid charged me 40 dollars for service. I asked why he failed to disclose the 40 dollar charge at the time I delivered the drive. He claimed it was common sense that when a service is provided a charge will be incurred. However, he called to gain permission to perform the service AND I DECLINED. Now at home, unlocking the file myself I have discovered that the drive claims to be empty. There is however 944 gigabytes of intel on this drive. This is not the way I delivered it. After doing some digging I have recovered the folder locker and it was deliberately hidden by this company . The evidence of this is that the visual removal of this folder from the drive is only possible by running a command prompt and selecting to hide the files within this drive. This was incontrovertibly done deliberately by this company to attempt to force me into a position to pay for their service.

Mo was very helpful getting my laptop hard drive replaced with a faster, better quality SSD Drive. Would recommend if you are needing computer repair go to them!!!

Best Buy wouldnt take my $1200 Laptop I bought from them unless I somehow managed to take it exactly at my appointment time in the middle of the afternoon, during my work-shift.Thankfully this lovely little shop was just over a mile away, and the service there was 100 times better. I worked with Mohammed and he was very polite and cordial, they fixed my laptop and had it back to me in 2 days, and even went out of their way to clean it. Definitely coming here for future computer repairs!

The technician Darwin was super helpful and efficient. Fixed my computer super fast and it works amazing now. Reasonable prices too.

Absolutely scalping the new gen GPUs at two to THREE times MSRP, and then trying to argue when I thanked them for their time and said Ill wait instead of paying 3x MSRP. Absolutely no thank you. $1800 for GTX 3070 and $1500 for Radeon 6700 XT.

The employees are always helpful and the store usually has what Im looking for when Im looking for it, they also give really good recommendations when they feel you may be spending more than you need to and will recommend smaller parts if you really dont need it. I was looking at getting either a 850w power supply for my computer I built or a 1000w but once we got the parts they saw I only needed a 650w supply and helped me save money and stay in budget.

This is the place to go! I took my PC in with a motherboard failure. They were on it almost immediately and since I dropped it in the morning I had it back the same day. The tech went well above and beyond and updated everything for me too. The PC has never worked better. Excellent value for the money.

I had a very good experience with the people at computer Citi! The customer service was exceptional. I had an issue with trying to hook up a third monitor off my laptop. The gentleman that help me, was thourogh with his questions, and got to thr heart of thr problem. I am a professional composer and arranger, demanding high speed, multi-core, mega RAM, and multi-server environments to ensure the resposiveness of DAWs, virtual instruments, notation programs, microphone performance, etc. Techs at Computer Citi understand this and built a very fine system that saved me thousands over popular brands. Better yet, after market service has been outstanding and I have usually got my problems solved and repaired in less than a day or two. This is crucial when you have production studios breathing down your neck. Certainly better than those prepaid warrantees. Have these guys build your next system! And, if you are a musician, they know what you need!

Scalping next generation graphics cards and selling them for double MSRP isnt right for a local business to do. They are selling $700 RTX 3070s for over $1400.

The screen to my laptop was damaged while it was in the shop and they refuse to take responsibility. When I dropped it off the hinge on the laptop was broken so the monitor was visible and I know 1000% there was no damage to it. When I picked it up and asked about it he said oh it’s glue or a burning. This laptop is used by my 12-year-old who doesn’t have adhesives like that and doesn’t smoke. This clearly happened at the shop while they were replacing the back cover however they would not accept responsibility. In addition the laptop was there for more than a month waiting for the part and they never called to update me I had to continue to call for updates because there was absolutely no communication for them. Very poor service.

He not only fixed a qwerk my laptop had been doing for over 3 years, he gave me information on some websites to use to block my 15 year old sons tablet from going to websites that are inappropriate. He was very personable and knowledgeable about all I needed help with. I will go to this Computer Citi again when I need help fixing any of our home electronics.

The most awesome staff! Knowledgeable, professional and real-life experienced. Was having issues connecting my laptop to a new router after fiber optic internet installation. The manufacturers had no clue on how to resolve my problem. Contacted Gene at Computer Citi where the router was purchased. He patiently and clearly guided me thorough the myriad of possible connection disruption causes. With his most appreciated help my router troubles were resolved. I highly recommend Computer Citi to anyone needing services they provide!

I have an older tower and heard there was some kind of chip that would make it run better. I didnt know what i was talking about but he did! Bought two items a laptop battery and a power source for my desktop. Provided the specs for the desktop, and selected a power source, salesman advised it would work.Laptop battery was trash and wouldnt hold a charge, only giving 2 stars because they did return that. 45 days after purchase the power source completely shut down. Their unspoken warranty was 30 days, they did offer $15 off an $80 power source. But otherwise I was on my own to contact the manufacturer as they decided it was no longer their problem.Inept salesman is the main problem, better off buying online, as relying on professionals, is apparently a costly mistake.

These guys are great, dealt with them at Auburn location. Very knowledgeable and thorough. My hdd failed causing system crash. They got me back up and running, going out of their way to ensure satisfaction. Recommend their services for good work.

I had high hopes but I ended up very disappointed. I stopped in to ask questions about my home computer. The salesperson was engaging, seemed knowledgeable and was willing to help so I returned with my computer. I left it with them for nearly a week while I was out of town. They explained what was wrong and how they fixed it and charged me $130.00 which I was willing to pay. Bear in mind they replaced no parts, just ran diagnostics and tweaked it, But I was good with that because I could not figure it out on my own and it was far less than a new computer. It worked fine for about an hour, then went back to its old ways. I took it back in and they were sorry that it was still having issues. I was under the impression they were to call me later the same day I dropped it off, but I left it for a day and a half before calling them to see if it was done yet. They suggested it was done but I should wait and pick it up the next day after they tested it some more on the bench. I picked it up the next day, took it home and within 1/2 hour it was obvious it was still not repaired. I called them and they did spend 1/2 to a full hour on the phone with me trying to walk me through what should have been done before I picked it up. After an hour the technician suggested I let it run until later in the afternoon and call him back to let him know how it was working. Of course it was no better, maybe even worse, than when I dropped it off the first time but when I called back at the appointed time the technician had left for the day. I waited until the next morning to call him back. He was out but I was told he would call me back in the afternoon. He did not call back so I called them myself before closing. He had left early. I called back the following morning and was told he was in but could I hold. I held for over 1/2 hour, hung up and waited all day for him to call me back. He didnt. Im done. I paid $130.00 as an experiment. Im out $130.00 for what was apparently time it sat on the bench. I have nothing to show for my money except a valuable lesson learned. I wont be going back.

Fast, Fair, Friendly! Great first experience. We had an old computer that died after a recent power outage. After a quick check-up I was presented with several options that allowed me to quickly -- and economically -- get access to my data trapped on the dead computers hard drive.

I went to them with a router problem of constantly being bumped offline and the tech showed me a channel monitor app on my smartphone that allowed me to choose a different channel from my router so the problem was cured. They didnt try to sell me something I didnt need.Professional, knowledgeable and good Integrity. I recommend them to anyone for your computer needs.Thanks, guys.

Really cool place, they did what i asked. As simple as that. No bullsh*t, i brought in my alienware laptop for diagnostics took 2 days and 40 dollars,which is a really good price considering diagnostics is 80 to 100 at other places i visited. Definitly deserves 5 stars.

Great job at a reasonable price. I took my computer in on a Thursday afternoon for a new HD (old one was maxed out). They had it ready the next day, even fixed an annoying bug that would not go away. Better yet, no extra charges for the mini tune up. What a difference between this shop and Geek Squad. .The shelves may not be overflowing with retail items (who cares) but the service is great.
