Dr. Bailey was very nice and knowledgeable. The sexton group has been great. The entire staff in the exam area was extremely friendly and made you feel welcome sand appreciated. They were very helpful with information on the new style of contacts for me.

What a wonderful visit! I scheduled an appointment and got in 2 days later instead of several weeks/months later. Everyone was super friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The technician explained everything she was doing when taking the digital images. No dilation meant no pain from bright lights. The doctor showed me my eye images and explained what was what and fitted me for corrective lenses that are going to be AMAZING compared to what Im wearing now. The ladies at the front counter helped me find the frames I wanted, made sure they fit well, double checked the prescription and my information and helped me out with insurance. It was a much shorted visit and better service than the last vision center I went to. I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment here

This place was absolutely a joke. Never again will I use this company. The eye exam was great. Dr was amazing. But now I have to pick frames. My appointment was at 5. I was there for 2 hrs. The helper lady didnt know how to do anything

Dr. Bailey was excellent! She very clearly knows her field and was excellent at explaining and answering all of my questions. At other offices in the past I have been frustrated by the eyeglasses examination often feeling rushed and expected to quickly answer questions of “picture 1 vs. picture 2” That was not the case with Dr. Bailey. She gave me the impression that she, as much as I, really wanted me to get my comparisons right for the very best and accurate eyeglasses prescription. She was patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and very professional.

The services that were provided to me were effective and efficient from start to finish. As soon as the medical assistant walked out of the room, the provider walked right in and was ready to see me. The contacts prescribed did alleviate the redness and dryness that I was experiencing with the old contacts I wore from another clinic. Although, the newly prescribed contacts were a bit expensive but I love how low maintenance they are. I would put them in and then dispose at the end of the day. Their eyeglasses were pretty cute and at a decent price, I’d say.

The doctor was amazing, and the young lady who took the tests. The person who was going to help with the insurance and finding glasses was rude. She also told me I had so much for frames, and had to pay a large amount for my lenses. She lied! I went elsewhere, and my lenses are covered 80%. They give excellent and thorough eye exams. But, then try to rip you off. I would go there again just for the exam! (The Sexton group is separate from Lens Crafters)

We had such a great experience getting our eye exams and shopping the LensCrafters in the South Hill mall. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful, they took the time to answer all our questions and ensure we got the most from our insurance benefits. Overall wonderful experience.

Everyone was so nice! I really appreciated that the doctor listening to my complaints and didnt write off what I was saying. Id been to a different Optometrist a year ago who couldnt find anything wrong with my eyes and sent me on my way. Needless to say that didnt happen here - they listed to me and saw what I was talking about and we have a treatment plan set up! My eyes already feel better just one day into treatment.

Several days prior to my apt I submitted my insurance information online. After my eye exam I had to wait for over an hour because they ran my old insurance from 5 years ago instead of my new one I submitted and the card I gave them. So I had to wait for them to cancel the first request and submit a second one. After spending 2.5 hours here and picking out a few pairs of glasses I like I was told I am out of market. Then I am talked into purchasing since they offer 40 percent off to anyone out of market. Yeah no they offer 40 percent off to everything. Then the worker quoted me at 400 dollars for some crazy lenses that I did not need when she knew I was paying out of pocket. Ended up spending 200 when it should have been 50 or so Solon even my insurance covers 130 of frames and 100% of lenses. They should have called and told me I was out of market considering they had my insurance card prior to my appointment. Friendly staff, just felt like all they cared about was the sale.

I really enjoy having Dr. Bailey work on my behalf at SVG. She is so thorough, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to..... taking the time to fully explain any issues to me. You cant go wrong putting your vision health in her hands. And a big thank you to the whole SVG team. Awesome job!

Im here with a friend. And it is covid19 safe. However the mall itself has a few( only a few) covid19 denial people without masks. Oh my and the bratty looks they show. You know the I dare you to point out my selfish actions look.Otherwise its great at the mall.

Excellent service, fast, efficient, thorough and very friendly. Dr. show the pictures of the eyes, talks about what he sees, and reassures me that all is well. I love the time spent explaining things and comparing past and present pictures. No waiting at all. Excellent experience.

The staff was very helpful & friendly. I didn’t get her name but she made sure I got my glasses the same day within’ an hour for my drive test.

Everyone is friendly and accommodating. My husband has been dealing with an issue for a long time and Dr. Bailey is the first to listen to what we are saying and take into consideration what we would like to try. Shes caring and conservative, but open to hearing your thoughts. The offices are spotless and social distancing is taken seriously.

I brought my 4 year old for her second eye exam. The entire staff was wonderful. They addressed her and not just me, which made her feel important. We had a bit of a wait as things were running behind, but my daughter had fun trying on all the pink frames she could find to fill the time.

Dr. Kim is wonderful! My whole family went together for our eye appointments. She thoroughly explained everything and listened to all of us about our concerns. Also, the staff at Lens Crafters were very patient and helpful too.

I saw Dr. Auyoung for a vision exam and new contacts. He was very thorough and was very nice, friendly and easy to work with. Now that I gave gotten my new contacts I can see so much clearer and I couldnt be happier!He even showed me the imagery of my eyes which showed the health of my eyes which was very interesting. To be fair Im giving a 3 star. Very clean. Dr. was great. However, Olivia was not nice nor caring. I finally made it to Lenscrafters after I was lost within the South Hill mall looking for Sexton. No where or does anyone tell you Sexton is within lenscrafters. Therefore, I walk in 13 minutes past my appointment time. First thing I was greeted with, sorry your late, we cant see you (huh?) I told the gal Im sorry I was looking for Sexton not lenscrafters. No one told me you folks were inside lenscrafters. Oh. Ok. Im telling you we have to reschedule your visit Im sorry but today is my day off and I was actually early but the mall stores are closed and had no one to ask for help and that is why I called when I was standing outside of lenscrafters for some direction. Again, Im telling we cant see you today I refused to leave until I spoke to the manager or she was going to process what I was explaining. Nope! Manager isnt here I sat quietly and then asked for her name and told her I was having a hard time with her rudeness and was going to post a Google review. Within 2 minutes she started my appointment process. Needless to say, she wasted our time and her attitude was in the wrong.For my eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses I spend $946 a sale they basically were refusing.

Been here multiple times now, and other than the extremely sweet, direct and professional lady who walked me through the initial tests, Ive seen 2 different optometrists and they were both kind and helpful as well. Love this place and how quick the appointment went, but still had all my questions answered and needs met. Will recommend a thousand times over.

Dr. Auyoung was fantastic. My experience with contacts hasnt always been the greatest. My eyes dry out a lot and due to my astigmatism my options left me limited. I only use them sporadically. He fitted me a new brand and tried out a few before getting them just right. Im impressed! Ive worn glasses for 30 years so this isnt my first rodeo. I cant wait for my new glasses to come in!

The doctor was great! The sales people were so-so. They were great in helping me pick out a frame, but rattled off the highest costing lenses without giving me options or input. I was able to catch it and ask about a cheaper option that I knew existed. Also, added on a one year insurance without requesting if I wanted that. Basically high sales tactics.

I felt that the staff was very helpful very pleasant. It was my 14 year old daughters first eye exam appointment so she was pretty nervous and pretty scared and they made her feel comfortable and Addies. Very very good staff clean office. A little expensive but Overall fantastic experience.

In the past month Ive been twice. Once for plaquenil testing once my starting of that turned a bit sour. Dr. Bailey helped me out and gave me advice on it. Over a month out dry and feeling better so I have to rework my medication with my other dr. Yesterday went for a regular eye exam and felt like she thoroughly provided me everything I needed to know and even a bit more. Really appreciate having a doctor care and provide support. Would definitely recommend.

I felt like I was getting all the information and questions I had answered but the front staff really were inconsistent about my insurance and I was told three different things regarding my insurance. Although I was referred there, Not sure if I’d be back.

Good Service polite and courteous staff, Doctor Knowledgeable good experience, UPDATE*** However, went to pick up my glasses today, and they just didnt seem right almost like the prescription was wrong after the Lenscrafter staff when through their process the came to the conclusion that i needed to double check my prescription i was right there lets do it, no no no i had to wait almost 3 weeks to get an appointment. I ask for a refund of the $600 dollars glasses and walked out.. Sad very sad.

I always am happy to see Dr. Sexton! He is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. He always checks in with me like he sees me more than once a year, and makes me feel known and important. The appointment went quickly and efficiently, but I still felt like I could ask as many questions as I needed. The office is also doing an excellent job with sanitizing for COVID precautions--I felt very safe!

The optometrist and assistant were fantastic. Kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. The optometrist offered a lot of information on the health of eyes, vision issues, etc. He was eager to answer any questions I had and printed out my prescription so that I didnt feel pressured to purchase glasses at the Lens Crafters they partner with.Lens Crafters itself was terrible. You can see my review for them if you search Lens Crafters South Hill Mall. But I realize the vision group and the eye glass store are two separate entities, so despite that event, Sexton Vision Group gets 5 starts. They really were fantastic!

Olivia and Dr. Kim were phenomenal. They are both excellant at explaining everything that’s going on and what my options are. Both are friendly and pleasant. The place seemed very clean.

Ive always wanted to get my eyes checked but wasnt sure which place would make it effortless. Ashley set my appointment up and made sure that my insurance would cover my exam. Amazing experience! I expected some old school exam but got a checked beyond my vision. I had some trauma to my left eye as a child and the exam pinpointed the point of origin. Luckily, I only needed reading glasses which was a sigh of relief! My wife is due for an examination and I plan on requesting Ashley to make it a simple 1,2,3 process.

I’d give zero stars if I could, who tells someone that they take state medical for the free eye exam and then goes after their credit and sends a bill to collects? Worst company ever.

I’ve been going to Sexton Vision for years and highly recommend them. They have state of the art equipment and the office space is immaculate. I was able to submit all paperwork from my phone the day before which made my visit even quicker!. Dr. Sexton and his assistant Alivia are efficient and always fun to talk to.

They need to learn how to do their job. They told me an upfront cost after calling my insurance and finding out my coverage and then billed me for more later. Im unsure how you can call my insurance and tell me one thing and then bill me for more. Ill be going somewhere else for my exams. Hope that $30 was worth it. Its not a huge amount of money its the principle. Zero trust when your billing team cant do their job how can I trust the eye doctor to do his job when even the simple part isnt done right? Yikes.

You should make a room accessible to try on your frames without your mask as you want to make sure they fit your face correctly. This was extremely messed up.

Was very disappointed that insurance only covers the exam and then Lenscrafters is a complete different set up. My girl found her frames before the exam but then we couldnt get them because they didnt take our insurance for frames or lenses. That should have been explained over the phone. Service by staff at the exam was friendly though. Will not return and find frames where they accept our insurance.
