We bought our 1st Waterbed from Jeff back in 1981 when Why Not was on Broadway. Over the years weve bought 2 more mattresses to replace the original bladder. We have bought accessories too like Pedestal Drawers, Water Conditioners, and Side Rails. We are still using the original frame & pedestals which have been moved a complete circle of Missouri.We went back last weekend and caught up with Jeff after 15 yrs. He ran us thru the different modern options from a best technology water tube mattress, to memory foam, to Gel mattresses. Jeff gladly spent a lot of time with us; much of it sharing his vast sleep technology knowledge, he took the time to learn what we liked / didnt like, got re-acquainted, talked about their cat, Boots (now passed), hashed over some old history & we learned what he has plans for in the near term. Eventually he helped us get a pretty good idea of what we really needed.While we were just looking on this visit and didnt end up buying anything just quite yet, we happily discovered that Jeff & Why Not is still our 1st Choice to go looking for bedding even after 37 years. He wants his customers to be well rested and happy with what they buy from him. You know the stuff, right? Old school CUSTOMER SERVICE! We did find what we wanted and when we get our budget lined up very soon, we WILL be back.
