Great mechanics in this shop. They installed fenders on my bicycle, extended my handlebars to suit my height and fixed my front wheel which was backwards & loose. Ill visit here again for any of my bicycle needs.

Was assisted in very knowledgeable Way on the person attending me. He fixed the wheel and charged me very little for it.

I have taken my bike to this place and all this store did on my bicycles is make more problems for me needlessly to say I will not go back to that shop again and Mike Wheeler is not very friendly but if you need bike repair around the Elizabethtown area Elizabethtown Schwinn is great

My reserve unit has a document shelving system which rolls on tracks on the floor, much like the medical records shelves which roll and collapse to save space. Ours were installed recently and one of the shelves stopped working - the chain connecting the handle to the cog at the bottom of the shelf had come apart. Upon inspection it was clear that the master link plate and clip had either been lost or never properly installed in the first place, and after a few uses the link fell out which made the rolling feature unusable.I have at least six years experience as a bicycle mechanic and am more than comfortable with chains in general, though this particular type is very different from anything you’d find on a bicycle. I came into Outdoor Ventures with the goal of purchasing a chain tool and remove a link, then re-tensioning the chain accordingly, but the gentleman demonstrated that their chain tools would not work for the width of this particular chain. He suggested I drive a couple blocks down the road to the local hardware store (True Value) where, as it turns out, they carry master links for many types of chains and were able to match the exact size I required. After spending a mere $1.47, I was out the door and successfully repaired the shelf. I’m very impressed the way the gentleman didn’t try to offer some other, more expensive solution, and selflessly directed me elsewhere. Now THAT is customer service!That all being said, I will ABSOLUTELY visit this establishment again next time I need tools or even a bicycle (or any outdoor sporting equipment). I live in Louisville, which is plentiful in great bicycle shops throughout the area, but will gladly take the longer trip to spend my money with these guys!

Had everything I needed, and a great price. Does full service tuneups on all bikes. Also provided detailed information about local routes. They also patrol Saunders springs (radcliff trail) and provided assistance to stranded cyclists, like me, from time to time.
