After waiting 4 months our very expensive Basset Electric lift chairs, they were delivered to the store. A week later drivers were finally procured and the two chairs were in place. Immediately we recognized these chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs we have ever purchased. We contacted the owner who was not very concerned as he had his money but called Basset to send a representative. The representative finally came to our home only to find “nothing” wrong. We have had numerous family members “test” these chairs as we thought we were in the wrong. Everyone agreed they could feel the hard springs close to the chair surface. The owner of the New River Furniture Store did not even.bother to follow up and now we are stuck with awful chairs !! Run from this place. It is NOT what is advertised !!

I recently purchased a bed from NRV Furniture and I must say my wife and I had an amazing experience. The service was above and beyond anywhere else. We were not rushed but encouraged to take our time and come back if needed. We loved the fact that no one tried to sell us anything! We were given factual information to help in our decision and did I mention BEST DEAL AROUND! The bed we chose costs thousands more from other stores so we saved a ton of money. Cant say a bad word about this place. I must point out that I have read some of the other reviews and although I understand everyone perceives their experience differently, I am NOT white and I was treated more than well! The owner personally waited on us and personally handled our needs from start to finish. He could have hid in the back but he didnt. The process was seamless and the entire staff was amazing. Randy a d his staff are the reason we will be making all our bed and sofa purchases with NRV Furniture from this day forward. Highly recommend this establishment!

Worst customer service I’ve never received. One month later no service on Serta lift chair. I have cerebral palsy and one leg. Chair badly needed in working order!

Went in there to buy a mattress and maybe because I wasn’t white literally no one came up and asked me if I needed help with anything so maybe if you’re white they will take good care of you, but if you’re not you’re better off driving a few minutes to Aaron’s or to Christiansburg.
