Fire Star Service, thats why I gave Beldinni five stars, our needs are complicated as we have to ship to the Bahamas, the company have been extremly receptive and supportive. I have advised of the need for some packaging improvements and I would love to see a solid hard wood door. The models I have purchased have been veneer - which means they can be delicate until they are installed. Once installed however they will dramatically add a quality feel to your project. I adore the hinges, the door locks, the magic sweep, the frames and the choices. Julie Rusina deserves a special mention as someone who has gone above and beyond to help our projects.

Working with this company has been a pleasure their professionalism and customer service has been great. The staff helped me find the perfect doors for my home. They look amazing and stylish. The shipping was fast and easy to set up. Overall no complaints and would recommend to family and friends.

Nothing wrong with doors, but they stealing your credit card info(happens twice)

Use DecorPlanet instead. Door Design Lab is much more expensive and they will do whatever they can to assure you cannot get a refund. After emailing us days after to tell us we must sign a form for an order to be completed when we thought the order had already been placed, we ordered the same door for over $100 less on Decor Planet. Once I was back in town, I emailed the person who had now sent multiple emails stating that we will not be receive our order if we didnt sign the form and informed them that we decided to go with another company. I was then told that the order had been placed anyway and that they will not refund the purchase or even price match Decor Planet. Basically online retailer bullying and theft. Unfortunately, this company could care less about how you feel as a customer and obviously dont care for repeat customers. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Decor Planet sells the same exact stuff for cheaper and will price match, etc.

Purchasing doors from Door Design Lab is by far the biggest (and only) regret I have in our home renovation project. The reviews here on google looked great so we purchase feeling confident that we would be getting a great product. Now, in retrospect, I wonder how many of their reviews are even real. The doors look great online and to be fair they even look good in person (at a glance) but its extremely disheartening how poor the quality is - especially for $12,000.We had problems from Day-1 with the finish delaminating on the door frames and trim. Imagine how the finish on a cheap set of shelves look when the wood finish peels up (see attached pictures). They talk about a durable and scratch resistant surface on their website but that is anything but the case. The slightest bump tears right through the finish. Buy these doors and youll be constantly worried about guests, kids or pets damaging them. Trust me, Im speaking from personal experience. Doors should be the least of your home ownership worries - but thats not the case with these.They did send us replacement frames and trim, saying that our 1st delivery must have been a bad batch. Unfortunately, after waiting way too long for replacements (our original order was in April and the replacements didnt come until July) we ended up having the exact same issue with the replacements. Once we started installing the doors we realized we had the same issue there. The slightest pressure to the bottom edges or corners of the doors caused the finish to start peeling up.Its not just the wasted money in the doors thats frustrating, its an equal amount of wasted money and time in the installation process. Imagine having to rip everything out and redo it a few short years. From a home investment perspective this was a horrible investment. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a local dealer, even if it costs more - in the long run youll not only save money but youll save yourself from the stress and aggravation that weve experienced

Very nice products, great quality and look. Great customization/hardware options/choices. Whats also very important - very knowledgeable and responsive customer support that gives great advice on product and option choices and provide good answers on many questions I had in mind. Bought a few doors (standard and barn/rail style) there already for house renovation and will be buying more.

The moment I saw the booklet with these doors, i knew it i needed to check them out. I live in Philadelphia, so i decided to drive to NJ where the factory is located (970 New Brunswick Ave, Rahway, NJ 07065) to check them physically on display. I found the design very unique and elegant. Right than and there i ordered 15 doors for my house. I was explained the process, the length of them getting manufactured, delivery, installation, expenses by a team of professionals. The entire task went very smooth, with no complaints. Highly recommended.

Very poor quality, doors have good looks to it, but customer service is horrible, if you want your doors fast and a quick response from the customer service, this is not the company you looking for, Im still waiting for a response after a few weeks. I few items came damage and some missing, I guess my project will be half done till they decide to help me.not recommended

The quality and design of the doors are great. They are located in New Jersey. I ordered from Los Angeles because I liked the doors a lot. Their customer service was quick and professional too. The only problem I had was the poor packaging for shipment. Multiple doors and casing pieces arrived damaged. It happened on more than one shipment. If they want to ship, they need to spend the time and money to package properly.

We bought 8 doors 4 closet doors, more to go. So far so good. Very nice quality doors, good prices when you shop around you may find doors for less $ but they might not be the same quality. The only bad experience I had with these doors was with the shipping company, which was not DDLs fault but they helped us with that.

Ordered 3 doors, one barn door and 2 others that should have come pre-hung . Lots of pieces and the directions in Russian only. While the sales person professional and the ordered reviewed by superiors . What was delivered is an ikea nightmare and a total waste of my contractor’s time!I will use barn door but not the other two.

Quick to respond to emails or phone calls. The hang up I had was a delay by about 2 weeks on the door. However - originally a pick up order - they delivered it.

DoorDesignLab provided excellent customer service! My door arrived quickly but was damaged by UPS. After submitting proof, a new door was shipped immediately, protected, and in perfect condition. The pricing was also better than what I found through 3 other major online retailers. I would definitely order more doors through here.

I want to share my experience with this company. We needed to purchase the doors for the downstairs, but the problem is that our first floor is really high and requires non standard doors. We could find anything fitting anywhere, and then we found this shop. The managers quickly helped us choose a good model (smart pro 4h) and provided the prices for the knockdowns. So easy to deal with and very quick delivery too. Will recommend!

The DoorDesignLab platform is great and easy to use and their customer service is fantastic.There was a glitch in my online order which caused the door I ordered to be built in the wrong finish. I wasnt available to receive and someone else signed for it. I wasnt on site for another few days after delivery.Nonetheless, once I realized the finish was different than the intended order, the Sales Manager, Val, was super responsive and within a day confirmed that they would be shipping the door in the correct finish and would pick up the other door at no cost.As a business owner, I know mistakes happen, especially with online orders. DDL owned this one and their response and remedy were top notch.

So many awesome styles! The managers were very helpful to find me a perfect french door for the room divider. I wish there was a larger door handle choice, but when it comes to doors, this company definitely provides a lot.

This place has so many style of doors to look at and chose from! Alot of different accessories, door handles, concealed door hinges and etc.!! Word of warning--unpack immediately and inspect prior to signing for order! I purchased these doors for a new remodel being done at my vacation home. I purchased 6 doors, total was over $4500. When the shipment arrived, they were wrapped up what appeared to be very well in a cellophane product, lots of packing material, could not see the actual doors it was so thick, and it was extremely bulky and heavy. I had met the driver at a storage unit, and because it took him so long to offload and move the product, when it finally came time for me to unwrap and inspect everything, I was running short on time, so I just looked it over from the outside, thought it looked ok, and signed for it. Well, that was a huge mistake. We finally needed the doors a few months later, and when we opened them, 3 of the 6 doors were damaged, one so bad that it was unusuable. The other two were scratched and dinged on the sides (on white paint, very noticeable). Because it had been so long for me to report the damage, the best DDL was willing to do was file a claim with UPS for us (that was 3 months ago, and weve heard nothing, so I assume it was denied) and let me know that if I did want to replace the one unusuable door, they would give me a 30% discount on a new one. Because I needed a door, I took them up on it. The door was then a reasonable price, but the shipping alone was almost $200 for one door. We received that door, and this time we opened it on the spot, and it, too, was damaged. We declined delivery, sent DDL photos and let them know that we wanted a full refund of the replacement door, which they did right away, which was nice. It was difficult to tell how it was damaged or by whom, but the cellophane wrap didnt appear to be damaged, it was almost as if it was underneath the wrap. So, word of warning, no matter how long it takes you to unwrap each door, inspect and notify DDL immediately if you have any issues, otherwise replacement or remedy is not an option. After spending over $4500 on our doors, we have had to use a bondo product and comparable white paint to make due with what we have. The doors are good quality and very cool looking, but the shipping process has some serious flaws.
