I went to this store on a mission to buy 1 type of container. I walked in and wasn’t sure where I was going so I starting walking around to find it. I looked around for about 10 minutes. I was passed by at least 5 employees and NOT 1 asked me if I needed help or made eye contact. I eventually found something that would work and proceed to checkout. The staff at checkout was friendly and cheerful which is what saved this from getting a lower rating. There is a lot more than containers for sale in here that are awesome options like closet setting and organizers as well as luggage choices. Overall management may want to tighten up being in such a niche vertical it’s important to make the most of every opportunity. I can’t say I’d return at this point based of my one experience.

This is one of my favorite stores! They have all of the unique organization pieces that you can’t find In other places. Variety and quality! Just walking through this store makes me want to organize something in my home. Staff is always helpful. It is conveniently located close to Crabtree Mall and has spacious parking. Highly recommend!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I use to like shopping at the Container Store- my most recent visit was not only a short one but my last one. I walked in (without a mask due to medical reasons) and was stopped immediately by a rude sale associate. She told me no mask, no shopping. I told her I am exempt due to medial reasons....She then walked me out to the entrance to show me the mask policy. I mentioned that those with medical reasons are exempt. She did not care. Raleigh Mask Mandate clearly excludes those with medical conditions but I guess The Container Store can set up shop in Raleigh but doesnt have to follow the guidelines set forth by the City where they do business. Their loss on a big sale as we are remodeling our walk-in pantry and (2) walk-in master closets. I ended up taking my business to California Closet on Atlantic Avenue. They were more than happy to assist me (I didnt have a mask on there) AND they made me feel welcome!

The customer service in this store is awful. Staff are all over, but never seem to offer any assistance. Further, they must have decided I didnt look wealthy enough, so I felt talked down to in the interactions I did have. Their elitist, cold vibe is bad for business. I will never go back. That said, I DO appreciate their masking requirement, and it made me feel safer.

This store soothes the minds and lives of people that need a place for everything. They have containers literally for everything. Containers of all sizes. It’s so amazing. Because of the specificity of the shop some items will cost you more than they would at other stores, so they are a little more expensive. Nice, clean shop with helpful and polite employees.

Very organized and well setup but they were oddly lacking in some departments. There was hardly any bathroom selections and an entire isle was empty so maybe they were just getting more stock in. They are on the pricier side but you can get a discount for being a student! I would recommend this place for people literally looking for storage solutions and not for supplying all your needs for a dorm or new apartment

Beautiful store, mediocre customer service. Nearly every step of the way, the associates were rude whether via phone or in-person. Get it together, container store!--I encountered rudeness from two employees over the phone and two employees in the store. From being cut off, being hesitant to cancel an order (I chalked it up to laziness or incompetence), assuming i didnt know when the store closed (I am not the person to stay in the store past closing and I was well aware of the hours of operation), assuming i was trying to skip the line when my 7.5 month pregnant self was briefly sitting my bags down to make sure all of my items were in my pickup order since I live a solid 30 minutes from the only store in the area i live in and last thing i want to do is drive 30 minutes for chip clips or anything else i made it a point to reserve for online pickup an employee forgot to pack because you all have too high of a free shipping threshold. Also lets talk about how i placed the order an entire month prior and you want to give me 3 days to pick up these items once theyre finally ready when again, your store is 30 minutes away.

My son introduced me to The Container Store and I loved it. Ive been back twice to make more purchases. Some items are pricey, but some items Id never seen before.

Great quality items for storage, ranging from closets to kitchen to bathrooms. They have a lot of different owns in the store and the staff are helpful. Kind of in the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Really nice, recommend if you are looking to organize

I had a wonderful shopping experience. The staff was helpful and pleasant. My only dislike was the items I was searching for from the website wasnt in the store but still located other alternatives.

As a professional organizer this store is definitely my go to for all my organizing projects.

This is my all time favorite go-to store. They have absolutely anything needed for storage. Great stocking stuffers at Christmas as well.

Great experience everytime! I purchased the top container (not the small one with purple handles) and filled it with almost every little nik nak and memorable item i had. It worked so well i went back for the larger version and put EVERYTHING in them.Whatever organization your lifestyle needs, the container store can accommodate it!

My first time here and I hate to say this, but it didnt meet my expectation. I expected more of a variety of items. Example: I needed a on the counter storage container to store my cooking utisils. I wanted a metal one but all they had was a woodblock one. Office supply storage had fewer options then OfficeMax. The staff was very friendly and the store was very clean and organized. Checking put was confusing since lights signaling the lane open didnt have anyone there.

Woah!!! I really have to write this review!!! As a mother of a pre schooler having the option of having my order brought out to the car was incredible. My phone would not allow me to download the app which you can tap to let the store know you are in the loading spot. I called up the store direct and explained my situation .A very kind member of staff brought it not only to my car but loaded it into my trunk ! Fantastic service!!!!

The selection and quality of products is generally really solid. However the customer service has been weird. Generally I’ve gotten little to no offers from staff to help with whatever I’m looking for - or sometimes if I do reach out and ask questions I get looks of confusion or annoyance. One staff cashier asked me to go get a replacement for the item I was trying to buy since the version I grabbed was missing a sticker. Just kind of weird in my opinion and leaves room for improvements.

Geez, this place is filled with employees overly eager and wont leave you alone. $150 for a trash can? I suggest Amazon.

Its an ok store. However, everytime I go, I end up standing in line forever. They never have enough cashiers open. Theres always tons of staff around but none want to help you check out. Either that or the management needs to recognize more quickly when additional cashiers are needed. I just want to leave the store after Im done but end up having to wait far too long.

The Container Store is the place to visit if you are ever in Raleigh NC. They have so many different storage items for any room in your home like trash cans, storage shelf containers, closet hangers, jewelry boxes, shoe racks, etc. Great store.

They have good items but theyre very expensive, for the price you can go online and order it in bulk and get way more for cheaper and great quality.

I love the container store. It was pretty well stocked and good location.

Many employees stand around while giant lines build up and only have 2 registers open while lines backup and take excessive amounts of time. I gave up as the lines didnt move at all and didnt buy anything as incompetent management wouldnt open any other lines so 4 other employees stand around and do nothing

I needed to add an Elfa shelf in my laundry room. It required some configuring to work with the pieces to make it work. Unfortunately the first mailing I received was cut incorrectly. I called on Saturday to explain and the customer rep immediately set about solving the issue without any explanation from me. She helped determine what was needed to correct the issue AND sourced it locally so that I could pick it up in an HOUR!! I was so thrilled to be able to finish up my laundry room right away. Exceptional service! as well as quality products and smiles all around with the employees. thank you

First time shopper and I was impressed! The store was well laid out, everything was easily found. Staff could use some retraining in Customer Service etiquette, but majority were helpful.

I just left this Container Store and I must say I really appreciate the friendly, helpful staff. I waited in line outside for approximately 30 minutes as they were only letting a certain number of customers in at a time (on a Saturday, not bad). An employee came out and gave everyone in line a bottled water. When I got inside I could see that they were extremely thorough in their cleaning/disinfecting in between each customer, from wiping down each cart/basket to having a fully stocked “sanitation station” for customers with hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and Kleenex. The employees were upbeat, friendly and helpful, even during this very different and difficult time. It was refreshing.

I’m very disappointed with my recent visit at The Container Store located in Raleigh. In their defense, most all of their associates are very helpful and polite; unfortunately Wilson must just be a bad apple. I was there with a very small child in a stroller browsing several aisles. Wilson was assisting another customer and we ended up along the same aisle 2-3 times. Rather than saying excuse me (to get around my child and stroller, and myself as I was browsing different storage options) Wilson (and the other customer) just squeezed by, forcing me to juggle the items I was looking at, along with my stroller....not once, but at least twice. Nevermind the fact that he didn’t practice social distancing or follow the arrows on the aisles (I could care less about that), but he not once said “excuse me” or waited for me to step back and reposition the stroller. As someone who has worked in retail for years and years, he should know better. At the very least, it’s just common decency. Shame on you, Wilson. Hopefully, next time you see a mother with a stroller or any children for that matter, you’ll be a bit more considerate.

Really bad prices, employees were unhelpful and didnt even acknowledge me when I said hello. Also didnt have anything that I was looking for. The one thing I was thinking about getting was double the price here compared to other retailers

Great Products - Abysmal Customer ServiceI actually really enjoy shopping at The Container Store and have spent a substantial amount of time and money here over the past eight months as we installed elfa in our sons room, our pantry, and then to set up an unexpected office for me due to COVID. While Ive loved going to the store, since day one Ive always felt lukewarm at best about the customer service. I literally cannot think of one time in the 30+ visits to the store Ive made since since Feb. where I didnt feel like I was an inconvenience to the staff. It has always been a source of low-grade irritation for me and a running family joke, but Ive put up with it because I really do like the products. However, today really took the cake and I think Im now officially done.I have had eight shelves on backorder since June. I have been extremely patient waiting for obvious reasons - were all doing our best in these times - and they were finally shipped to my house last week (mind you the shelves are also on sale now but they would not honor that price even with the delay). I opened up one of the boxes and five of the shelves had noticeable dings in them. When I took them back to the store tonight to return them, the person who helped me, who was rude from the get-go, immediately informed me that the shelves were damaged before I could even get a word out. When I told her I knew they were damaged and that was, in fact, why I was returning them as they had been shipped to me that way her immediate response was well I would never recommend shipping these. No sorry, no let me get these returned for you - just a completely dismissive attitude that it was somehow my fault for ordering shelves that were out of stock. The container store website absolutely does not indicate that the shelves shouldnt be shipped. In fact they had to be shipped because they were out of stock at the Raleigh store!This was enough for for me but, of course, I had the gall to ask for assistance in getting two shelf brackets which immediately resulted in a heavy sigh because she had to go to a different computer. While I was waiting for the brackets, I walked off to look for other items and happened to be in the next aisle as I heard her complaining to a colleague about my returning shelves. Unfortunately, I didnt get the name of this beacon of customer service as I was so disgusted that I had to leave before I even purchased everything I came for.So the good news is The Container store wont have to worry about me being a nuisance/customer anymore. After a solid 8 months of being disrespected Ive finally had enough. It really is a shame.

Ordered online....three weeks ago. Nothing has shipped. They say a delay of up to two weeks when you order so I waited until after that to contact them. Tried to reach out via their online page text box and have yet to receive a response after a week. Tried calling. First time it hangs up if you ask to speak to someone. Tried the following day and was on hold. Chose the option for a call back which I never got. Called again today....and it hangs up again if you choose to speak to someone regarding an order. Three weeks and no news in sight, and no way to talk to anyone. Worst online customer service Ive ever experienced.

It was my first time going and was well worth the trip. My only complaint is that their carts are very small for what they sell, but that isnt something they can change right away.

They have a great selection of so many different things, but it would have been helpful to have a bit more signage. A lot of what is out in the store is just a display and there are not accompanying boxes with every display. So while you might really like something, you may not be able to buy it there at the time. It’s confusing. Most of the staff there seems to be helping customers with lengthy individual requests like designing spaces in their homes, and it’s hard to pull them away from those meetings to get them to get you what you’d like from the back. Overall while the store does seem to offer a lot, I left with less than I’d like because they didn’t have available what I liked on display and the staff was really busy accommodating other individuals with their design questions. I’ll definitely come back, just wish it was an easier shopping experience.

I have to say the customer service here is probably the best customer service I have ever received! So extremely helpful and not just one person but everyone! I Was in the store earlier shopping and Julia was so extremely helpful with my mom leaving us in awe. The lady at the cashier was another wonderful help! So we left the store and went to dinner and I found out that I left dropped my pearl earring which My husband got me for my birthday recently. I checked my car and it wasn’t there so I called back to the store and April pick up. I explained what had happened and I thought I may have dropped my earring in the store, April was very helpful and told me that if they find it, they’ll call me back and let me know either tonight or the next day! Within like seconds of hanging up she called me back and said they found it! I am so extremely grateful for the staff at this store! They’re so helpful and very kind!! If I wasn’t a fan before, I’m definitely a fan now!

Very disappointed in this store! They will not allow you in and will refuse you service if not wearing a mask. I had proof of my medical exemption and was still rudely turned away. The lady repeatedly raised her voice at us and told us to leave. When we tried to tell her I was medically exempt she said “I don’t care get out”. This store has forever lost my respect and business. I will not return even after COVID is over.

I absolutely love coming here! Its super clean and organized well, which is important because they sell so many different and unique items. Even with the vast number of organizational products the environment is always energizing and clean. I always end up with a few extra ways to organize my space after I leave.

This place has it all! You can easily go broke organizing your entire house.

We LOVE this place! Y’all! They can help you do anything. From organizing your kitchen to organizing and rebuilding your closest. One of our favorite things is our pull out shelves in the kitchen. They can take the size of your closets and tell you exactly how to make use of it in the best possible way. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the help from the staff.

I ordered some products for my home on May 24 and its June 6th and they have not even been shipped. If items are out of stock, you should just not allow customers to order. Love the selection inside though it can be pricey. This was my first time here and i have to write a review because i have NEVER been talked to the way an associate talked to me today. When she asked if I needed help I said no. But that didnt stop her from condescending to me for like 5 minutes straight about something i was really only casually looking for. The store is cool but she should really learn to read the room :( it is actually possible to try to sell things without treating a customer like an idiot!

Very helpful staff any questions you have their there for you. A great place to go for closet organization they have great staff to help with that answer all your questions. Some things are a little pricey and some things are great prices good place to go check it out.

This is such a neat store. There is a HUGE selection of organizers and closets and shelving units of all shapes and sizes with an even larger online selection. Unsurprisingly, this store was very busy and the lines were long, but the cashiers clearly knew what they were doing and made quick work of the lines. If youre an organization freak like me, this is the store for you!

What can I say???? Most women will lose their mind in this place! I personally could spend hours! My mistake was bringing my husband and our daughter. They totally rushed me. I could probably spend 15-20 minutes on each aisle. Prices are all over the board, so there is something for everyone. I never leave empty handed even if I didnt find what I came in for.The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is their check out system. Wow! What a mess! First of all it wasnt clearly marked where to go and then they were taking people from both sides of the counter with a randomness having nothing to do with when you got in line. I stood in a line watching people go to the other side getting rung up one right after the other as myself and about 3 or 4 others stood there frustrated while the customer 2 people ahead of me took forever. Im in retail and I have always found 1 line into the next open register always works best. That way no one gets stuck behind a problem. Hey! Thats just me.Besides the line, I love this store and will still continue to shop there!

They have nearly everything you could want, in every color. Their furniture is also very inexpensive, simple, and stylish. I love this store; staff is kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The layout is spacious and clean of clutter. I seldom walk out without a good deal! Their bathrooms are colder in temperature than the rest of the store but that is true for business; Worth the visit everytime.

We come to this store somewhat frequently and always have a good experience. Tonight, however, was exceptional. We came in sort of knowing what we were looking for but not really. Craig greeted us and after we explained why we were there, he was able to show us option after option until he found exactly the product to solve our needs. Craig new the store and the products inside and out, and he didnt just stop after we didnt like the first one or two options he showed us. His knowledge and outside-the-box thinking eventually solved our problem. Great attitude and great service! Thanks!!

I cant go here very often because I want to buy everything! While they have whatever container you need and more, theres so much stuff you think you need, too.This particular store feels like the right size, it was clean, and mostly smelled like plastic.
