Got an emergency fabrication order filled in hours, with special order material and based off a verbal description. Mr. Hamilton personally took care of it with an incredibly reasonable price for fast, neat work. Definitely my go-to machine shop in the Raleigh area. The shop cat is adorable too.

Mr. Hamilton is a busy man, but the work he does is impeccable. He worked with me (an individual, not a business) on a threaded adapter with very specific ID/OD sizes to make a new shift knob work for my car. Specifically, the threaded adapter for the two sizes I needed exists nowhere else, so this was a from scratch project. Needless to say, I am extremely satisfied and would recommend him to anyone else. Pic related.

Hamiltons Machine Works offers a quality product that is well priced and skilled machinist that work there. I use them to do repairs and fabricate parts for the Factory that i work in multiple times a year and i have never been let down. I have also watched some of their machinist worked and was impressed by their skill. i will continue to take my business to them, as well as tell other people about them.

They may do absolutely spectacular work, but their customer service left a lot to be desired. I called to get some information from them on their services and was told: I dont have time to talk to you. You can call back later. Then was abruptly hung up on!If this is how they treat prospective clients, then I can tell you right now... Ill never be one.

This is a great place to go if you need machining, welding or fab work. We have been here to many times to count and the service and pricing are always great. They actually just welded the inside of a chipper drum for us. When others said it couldnt be done and want 12,000 for a new one these folks said no problem and did it for almost nothing. These people produced a custom made machine part for the company I work for in less than 24 hours, and at 1/4 the cost of other estimates. This company looked at our needs, not at how they could profit from our emergency. Unbelievably excellent!

Nice people and good TIG welds, but I was quoted $30 to have a fitting welded to a oil pan and when I went to pick it up, was told from a different person it would be $60. I ended up paying $40 after telling him what I was quoted.Get your quote in writing.

I had my rims drilled here. Turned out perfect at a great price. Very fast and friendly.

Excellent. Needed a hole threaded on a piece of surveying equipment. They did it right away in less than 5 minutes, smiled the whole time and charged me $20. Coulnt ask for more.

Terrible. Woman answered the phone and told me two bring in the two pieces of metal I needed cut. Literally two cuts that should take all of 30 seconds. Drove 30 min to get there and one of the guys said Cant do it. Too busy. Come back tomorrow. If I could leave zero stars I would.
