Capel Rugs is a great place to get area rugs and stair runners. Sid greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. On our first visit there he helped us find the perfect rug for our long entryway hallway. My husband went in yesterday and he helped him find the match to our last purchase for another area of our home.

I was in Raleigh visiting friends and they recommended Capel for some area rugs. I went and was impressed first with the immediate welcome from Sid, and second the vast selection and price ranges. I ended up purchasing three rugs at an unbeatable and unbelievable price. I hope to be back for a few more. The customer service is outstanding as well.

When I arrived at Capel I was immediately greeted by Dana, the salesperson who helped me. She showed me where the different kinds of rugs were displayed and pointed me to the ones I had specific interest. I was amazed at their selection and more importantly their incredible prices. My husband and I bought 2 area rugs that day. We had been searching online for over a year and with the selection at Capel, we were able to find what we wanted for 2 large rooms. I am one for giving Kudos when deserved, however, I am unable to share with you the 5 star rating that i would like to. I went in looking for a living area rug and indoor/outdoor for my sunroom. The selection was very vast and the pricing reasonable for my budget. Why am I not rating this as a positive experience? Because at no point in the 40 minutes that I was browsing the showroom floor did I ever get so much as a greeting. And yes, this was a Saturday with ample sales persons on the floor for the 15 customers at that time.

It had been 15 years since I had been in Capel Rugs. Rob greeted us at the door with a smile. He explained how the showroom was arranged. Then he left us to walk and around and browse. We had a couple of questions that were answered promptly. When we saw a rug that we thought would work, he asked his guys to get in down for us. It did help that I had my couch and chair fabric samples with me. He held it for me while we went to eat lunch. I returned to purchase the rug and it was quickly put in my car. Save yourself some time! Go to Capel Rugs first! You will see some fine, quality rugs at fantastic prices!

We had a great experience at Capel Raleigh with Judy, the assistant manager. She was helping several people at the same time, and still did a great job to listen to us and follow through on taking care of making sure we got the rug we wanted, and also made sure we got the right rug pad. Dont expect online prices, but you get what you pay for and we LOVE our rug, and will be back next time we are looking -- the selection cant be beat!

We had a fabulous rug buying experience at Capel Rugs in Raleigh. We went in on back-to-back days. This being our first foray into hardwood floors and the world of area rugs, the first day we just wanted to see what might be available in our price range without feeling any pressure to buy. This was exactly what we got. We were greeted when we entered the store and the staff immediately asked if they could help us with finding what we were looking for. When we explained we were just starting to shop and just wanted to look around, we were politely encouraged to do so at our leisure. The staff checked in with us just to see if we were still doing OK while we browsed, but we never felt hurried or pressured. After educating ourselves on the first day, we returned the following day with specific ideas and questions. Judith was an excellent resource for all of our questions and spent over 2 hours with us going over the floor plan of our new home and our furniture layout and styles and helping us select just the right rug for every room in our new home. I could not imagine anyone more patient or helpful. I will not hesitate to return for all my future rug needs.

A friendly gentleman greeted us immediately, pointed us to the size rugs we needed, allowed us to browse independently for a while, checked on us a few times and answered all our questions. We ended up choosing a well priced rug and then learned it was on sale for an additional 20% off the ticket price. What a great deal! We had none of the issues with customer service that were mentioned in previous reviews. Quite the contrary, it was the perfect balance of no heavy sales pitches with a knowledgeable, non pushy, very kind salesman. I recommend this store and will definitely shop here again.

We shopped for a living room rug and due to the sale decided to also buy a dining room rug. Sandra Moye was the absolute best! She was helpful, knowledgeable, and very patient and kind when we came back 4 times making exchanges until we found the right rugs!! Ask for Sandra. She is the best!

I was at the store 50 minutes and not even 1 hello or a do you need help. I was prepared to purchase several rugs but, I just cant being myself to go back. Customer service is not first on their mind. My computer is nicer to me than that. Ill go to green front.
