Dave is an AWESOME guy and so easy to talk to. Took the time and made us feel more at ease in buying this car. The car was very clean and they do all the detailing themselves!!!!

All I can say is wow. These guys are professionals at not being truthful. Buyers beware. Oh and the warranty they push you to buy doesn’t work at all either. Save yourself a headache and drive to the next dealer

We unexpectedly needed to buy a vehicle. We had what I like to call a champagne taste on a beer budget. I went in and spoke with Dave thinking I wanted the Acadia or Traverse he had on the lot. He got an idea of what we wanted/needed for our family and pointed us to a couple vehicles that would be even more ideal. Those didnt work out for us but he kept my information and within a week contacted me to inform me of a Honda Pilot he had coming in. We worked with Ken as he was working that day. He was just as honest as his brother. They were upfront, no BS type of people. I didnt feel pressured and I felt like they were fair with their pricing. I even used their credit union for financing. It was a super quick and easy process and the rate was great!The market isnt great for used SUVs lately but I feel like I got a decent deal for what I wanted. Ill update my review after Ive had my vehicle for a while but Im under the impression that they dont sell junk! And if there are issues they disclose them. Ill likely bring my vehicle back to them to get detailed in the future and will definitely do business with them again.

I bought a BMW 650xi Gran Coupe from Dave and had a wonderful experience. Very upfront and honest about the vehicle and overall a very smooth, painless transaction. I highly recommend Diamond Auto Inc!

Friendly salesperson, but both vehicles I took for a test drive had issues. Both vehicles had cracked windshields in the lower right corner and the person was going to sell us either vehicle with the cracked windshields. The crack on the Honda Pilot was the size of my fist. The Buick Enclave had spongee brakes and made clunking noises as I pulled out of the lot. If you want a vehicle that you dont have to take to get repaired right after buying it, dont bother coming here.

We visited Diamond Auto Sales of Ramsey on 10/31/20 and met with Ken who seemed like a knowledgeable and friendly salesman unfortunately we later learned that wasn’t the case. We were there to help our 16 yr old son purchase his first vehicle using money he had been saving for college but now needed for a vehicle so he could get to work. The vehicle he was interested in was 2006 Explorer with very high miles for $3997. We were concerned about the high miles but there wasn’t much in his price range with lower miles and the overall condition of the vehicle and “great” maintenance report that Ken told us made us feel the miles wouldn’t be an issue. This vehicle wasn’t in our son’s price range of $3000 but with the trade in it was closer to what he had although he wasn’t looking to empty his whole college savings. Ken assured us this vehicle would be a great vehicle for him; 1 older male owner and a CarFax Report that he said showed maintenance every 3k miles; however Ken failed to tell us and didn’t get the CarFax hardcopy until after we purchased to notice the vehicle hadn’t had a maintenance service in over 7k miles which is probably why we experienced the issues the day after it left the lot. We traded in a vehicle that had its share of issues and we did disclose those issues (exhaust, fuel pump, stalling), which was why Ken said he could only give us $400 because it would be junked. The next day, we noticed it was leaking antifreeze and oil in our driveway, so we took it into our mechanic where he found a cracked thermostat water housing assembly, loose water hose, rear axle issues, the rear main seal was leaking, and the exhaust manifold had broken bolts which at some point would need to be repaired which is another costly repair. Our estimate to repair just the thermostat housing, rear main seal and rear axles would be $1600. Even though this vehicle was purchased “as is” we reached out to Ken to see if there was anything he would be willing to do. We quickly learned that would not happen nor would he even apologize for what he sold our son. Ken only offered us that if we paid $3100 in repairs on the trade-in vehicle (the vehicle he was going to junk), then he would look into seeing what he could do for us on the vehicle he sold us. We declined his swap of repairs and paid $1000 to fix just 2 of the immediate issues; however 58 days later we were hit with another expense. The timing chain and tensioner broke and we were looking at another $3000 in repairs. At this point the vehicle isn’t worth putting any more money into it since we are already out $4700 in less than 60 days. We called Ken again and he only offered for us to talk to Dave the owner, whom we have since learned is his bother. Dave was just as rude and kept sticking to his “As Is” sale. How about you actually have your vehicles inspected before you sell them, then you can stand behind your “As Is” contract. Dave’s only solution was to use his mechanic which he stated could possibly get the repairs down to $2000 pending an actual view of the vehicle, but we would need to have the vehicle towed there for a quote and if not fixed by him then another tow charge to bring it back home, so in the end there would be no savings. At this point we are just hoping to sell this to a mechanic for parts to recoup some money. This was a hard lesson for our son to learn and even more devastating for us that we fell for the deception and now he is out all his savings and doesn’t have any money to fix the vehicle We will never recommend this dealership to anymore as we hope no one ever has to experience what we have. 2020 was a horrible year and this was really the icing on the cake. STAY AWAY!!

Dave was awesome to work with. They waited two weeks for my tax return to come back when Im sure other people would have bought the car.They got me approved for financing even though (after Discover card) I have terrible credit now. The car drives perfect and we found no drama with it. These guys are great in my book, they got me and my wife our dream car.

I was embarrassed when I dropped off my car to be detailed because of how dirty it was. 2 kids and a lot of neglect will really show over time. I expected the car to look better when I picked it up but I was absolutely blown away by what I saw. They were able to get all of the stains out (light interior shows everything 😳) and they cleaned every inch of the car. Goey stuff in the cup holders? Gone. Dirt stains from dirty hands? Gone. Salt rings built up on the carpet? Gone. I don’t think it looked this good when I bought it brand new. 10/10 in my book!! I highly recommend Dave at Diamond Auto!!

Stopped by to look at and test drive a 2017 Sprinter 4x4. Dave was very helpful and easy to deal with. We set up the visit via his website text service and heard back from Dave in minutes. Not sure if the Sprinter is right for us. However, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to do the business with Dave at Diamond.

Just bought a 2013 GMC Yukon Denali and out of the 30+ years of buying used cars this was the best experience i had out of all of them. Dave was so nice, friendly and straight forward. I had no issues with any part of the process and all the paper work was a breeze. And all the cars were very well detailed in cleaning, it looking like it was brand new inside. I am definitely going to be buying more used cars from him in the future.

All of the light gray fabric seats, door panels, and dashboard of my F150 super cab (used for fire investigation) are clean and bright again! If we could give zero we would. Single worst car(s) buying experience EVER. We purchased 2 vehicles from Diamond Auto of Ramsey MN. Both vehicles turned out to be unsafe to drive immediately after purchase. 1st vehicle needed all new front end steering etc...$1100. Second vehicle has catastrophic motor problems pre-existing to when we purchased (we have only put on 1200 miles since purchase and we are unable to drive). Diamond Auto not only hides behind the AS IS condition they demean their customers and urge you to take it to their mechanic to pay for repairs out of your pocket no matter the circumstance. BUYER BEWARE!! There are many dealerships out there we will never step foot on the Diamond auto lot ever again. Pretty sad when a business operates this way.

Had my girls suv detailed and it looks great. Only reason for a 4 star is because there was a couple little spots they missed but overall it was a good job.

I take our few of our fleet vehicles here a few times a year. They do an awesome job detailing my van and make my bosses car look new again, he spends a lot of time on dirt roads, not an easy task. Thank you Diamond Auto. I look forward to having my Harley done by you as well.

I bought a vehicle here. If there was a zero I would pick it. I bought a vehicle from them, and the next day after it broke down. I had the vehicle for total of 8 months. I put more money into it than I spent on it. THEY, attempted to fix in 2 times then they told me I was on my own. When they did bring me to their back yard mechanic... they gave me a rental... I pulled out of the lo,t and the check engine light came on. I called them right away, and they said I did something to their car. Come to find out. Their fleet is all FLOOD damage. For being a christian company they sure are not trust worthy.

On my way I did call Diamond Auto and Ken picked the call. I inquired about the vehicle condition and I was humbled by the gesture that Ken got up from his place, went to the car to tell me over call everything about how the car condition was. I was so impressed that I continued my journey. I got a very casual reception which I loved. I dont want 3 people running towards me ( feels like to rip me off). Its been 3 days and Ken is getting the vehicle ready. He just told me that he wants me to have a good experience with him when I own and drive the car which was something any car owner would love to hear.Okay, so I will add to my review after a few months if I get the car as still I need to get the finial inspection done but still I admire Ken for his time and help he is extending. I filled out an app to see if I’m pre-approved for a loan. I did let one of the gentleman there that I would have money put down once I know if I’m approved. I was promised to get a call back on Monday about it. No call to follow up with my status. Don’t judge someone based on what they wear thinking I don’t have the funds. It’s okay I guess I’ll put my money else where. How are you going to get buyers if you don’t follow through what you say if you are talking business. Just shred my application smh.

And they haven’t bothered to register the truck to my name. By law supposed to be done in 10 days. It took two months and multiple phone calls.And hey don’t read their kbb ads they put on their vehicles, they mark them up $2-5000 to make it seem like you scored.This company is a joke.

I brought a vehicle that only lasted 6 days then blew up. David said to me well what do I want me to do? I replied I want my money back! He stated I can’t do that! So let me get this straight he sold me a lemon & refused to do anything about it. He will write a review stating that he contacted me that also is false! He is false& so is his so called business! DO NOT purchase anything from him as he is s crook! Find another business!!

I love giving good reviews to companies that deserve them but cant even give this place any stars (except it requires me to click on one to post a review) as I recommend avoiding it at all costs. There are very unethical practices here and this is exactly why salesmen in general get a bad reputation. We got the ol bait and switch after heading there to buy it with cashiers check in hand. But thats ok because they clearly didnt want us to go through with a vehicle inspection so Im glad we didnt end up with a lemon. I dont appreciate being treated like Im naive or would fall for this trickery like an idiot. It was so bad that we thought maybe we were on an episode of Ashton Kutchers Punked show. We feel bad for the person who did end up buying this vehicle without an inspection. Wish it could have turned out better but hopefully we can help others to avoid a costly mistake.

Got the truck and the battery was dead, needs brakes and rotors, headlights out, engine lights on. I would stay clear of this lot as much as you can.

I work for them for a week as a detailer it was a joke they tell you how much money you will make and never give you any cars to clean but make you be there 9 to 5 i had to find a different job and I gave them all my information and they never paid me for the week I was there
