I was told that my car is ready to be picked before 6 pm. So I went at around 5:30 pm on Thursday to pickup my car. When I took the car after service, I noticed that the front bumper was hanging off completely on the right side of the car. The technician who took the car from the garage said that he didnt know how this happened. I called the service adviser and he said said that something might have happened during the car wash and that it can be fixed tomorrow. He fixed it temporarily by forcing the bumper into its place. I came on the next morning and asked him and he said that since the car wash is complementary such things are bound to happen and they are not responsible for such things. He showed a form where I signed the day I left my car for service and showed that it is a complementary car wash. I tried talking to him but he was insisting that they cant do anything and finally he agreed that he will get it fixed but I have to pay $36 + whatever it costs for the bumper clips. He said usually it will be around $80/hour charge, but they can do it for half-hour labor cost. My colleague who came with me told me that we could do this ourselves instead of paying them $50. So I took it back to my office and went to buy the clips at a hardware store. The mechanic looked at the bumper and said that it looks like someone has hit the car because the bumpers latch is in front of the head light, whereas originally the latch should be seated behind the headlights latch. He said that it will be impossible for me to fix it myself and recommended me to go to the dealer again. So I took the car back to the Folsom Lake Honda service center and told them what the mechanic said and the service adviser said that they cannot fix it but redirected me to Caliber collision to get an estimate of how much it will cost to fix it. I told him that the service center must fix what they broke and they were not willing to take it. For now I have tied the bumper to a zip-tie so that the bumper doesnt fall off. Here is how it looks now. Initially I thought the service center was honest when they said that my oil is at 40% and I dont have to service until it reaches below 15%. But instead they are ripping us off for the mistake at their end. I would not recommend this service center to anyone.

Larry will always give you the run around it’s ridiculous and their pricing for auto service is all double the price of the other local Honda service centers must be nice being in folsom
