Our original floors were built in 1910, had lots of stains and needed replacement wood. Im so happy we went with FCI Carmichael. They did an excellent job and the wood floor looks brand new. They also laid our new kitchen tiles with extra attention to our requests for design. The floors look fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Ben, Jose, and Jenn were completely professional. Very responsive and always helpful when I had questions. We started out in one direction and went in another. They were flexible and honest and very accommodating.The job was done perfectly and ahead of schedule. We were on a tight timeline with a new home purchase and orchestrated move in timing. We hired Floor Coverings International, Sacramento, to do the tile work in our master bath and we couldn’t be happier. We had them tear out an old jacuzzi tub and build a walk-in shower. Our design associate helped us pick out the perfect tile and grout and the installers did an amazing job! Everyone was very professional and meticulous and we highly recommend them.

When we showed Ben of the small area needing attention he brought in samples, and we eventually picked the perfect floor thanks to his guidance. There was no pressure or up-selling. The price was less than expected so we were skeptical. They actually called sooner than expected for installation. Giovanni came over and installed the perfect floor. We converted our floor surface from carpet to wood. Ben Rigsby was our 1st. contact with Floor Coverings International. He was clear, patient & pleasant while explaining the options. It was a difficult install: carpeting the stairs & wood floor of the entire 2nd. Floor, without removing the furniture.Ben took us thru carpets: grades & colors, woods: grades & colors. Lots to think about. His answers were clear. We felt no pressure. No buyer’s remorse. Very happy with our new flooring, both the colors & quality of the install.Melesio did the installation. Because of the furnishings and extensive library, it took 4 days. He had to move everything to the side, do the flooring, move it to the other side and complete. This was the pattern for every room. As I mentioned, the flooring was the entire 2nd floor. The carpet removal and the new flooring had to be carried up the stairs. In the entire 4 days he was always pleasant & patient with my questions.The entire process from the 1st. in home visit to the completion of the project was smooth & professional. There were no surprises and we knew what to expect every step of the way. Jose was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure our LVP installed to our stairs, upper landing, hall and guest bathroom looked beautiful. After getting a ridiculous quote from someone else, I was referred to Jose from my co-worker who had her floors installed and they looked so beautiful! I met with Jose and we picked a very durable vinyl plank that looked amazing! My dog chewed through part of my hallway carpet that let to the rooms. I found Floor Covering International on Home Advisor. Making an appointment was easy. Jose come out to speak with me and answered all my questions. I wanted to either fix the carpet or remove it and put laminate on. I chose to do the second because I really didn’t want the carpet. We picked out the laminate right there and make another appointment to do the install. Carlos did the install and did a great job! My brother was impressed with how fast and good the floors turned out. We all love the new hallway and I know my German Shepherd appreciates the coolness of the laminate compared to carpet. Everything went smoothly and quickly! Thank you!

Excellent company on all levels. I will not go anywhere else for our flooring needs. Not only is the final product beautiful and professionally installed, Jose and his team were beyond courteous and responsive to us from beginning to end. Customer service is huge for me and they nailed it.As to the project itself, the quote was more than fair and the final look of our floors is beyond what we could have ever expected. From orange-toned wood to a modern gray plank, we are in love!! Our stairs too!! And at the last minute we added new sheet vinyl for our laundry room, that too turned out great!!

Great company to work with. They delivered on time and did an excellent job. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect and did not cut corners. I highly recommend them. I have given there names to friends looking to remodel. I appreciated the addition help with understanding the flooring and the color.Jose recommended a great grey/brown color which I recently have seen on HGTV shows as the flooring color they do for remodels.

The product is top quality, and the crew did a wonderful job. The sales and administrative staff were also very professional and provided timely communication. We are enjoying our new luxury vinyl floors without having to worry about our dogs scratching the floor. We can cook in the kitchen and not worry if a drop of water is going to ruin the floor before we have the time to wipe it up.

Working with Jennifer and Jose was a seamless process. They were both excellent communicators from the initial call to Joses final walk-through. Jose is very knowledgeable and had answers to all of our questions. The install day went smooth and on schedule with no hiccups. My only reason for 4 stars is because I am not completely happy with the product itself. The floor makes a strange echo/hollow sound when walking on it, which I didnt expect.
