This a very decent Safeway although if you shop later in the day it may be a bit under stocked and rightfully so I believe they do most of their stocking at night and this store does get fairly busy. I like the fact they have security, its a rough neighborhood and sometimes there are questionable people hanging around out front and this store does a very good job of keeping them away. The staff is always super friendly and it has all they products I have come to love over the many many years of being a Safeway customer.

This location has never been one of my favorite Safeways to go to, but it has improved under New Management.I had a much better experience at my last shop. I would have given it 5 stars, but my cashier needed to be a little more people friendly. No casher should ever huff and puff, when you ask for a price check, to see how much something is.

I love Safeway its open late so when I get off work at 10:30 I can still hit Safeway up for little lite shopping. And they savings are awesome.

Safeway is great, I never have had any issues during my visits its fast pace and always easy finding items and the employees are very nice that I have always encountered a communication process with.

Safeway has been my favorite grocery store for decades. Ever since Lucky moved on from my town. I go there mostly for the produce - everything from tomatoes lettuce celery, .. I can depend on safeway for these items that stay fresh for several days in my fridge or cupboard. These food 0 less, loseco, scaremart, you better eat it that same day or you have wasted your time and food and $ . Or maybe buy all canned goods?At Safeway I am constantly waiting in line. Only once in 10 trips (Ive made over 900) have I been able to go through a line with ease. When Im planning any trip I add 15 minutes if I need to go to Safeway, just for standing in line. By all means chit chat madam clerk while there are 7 people in your line and your store wont open 1 more aisle while you chit chat. Have a life, be human, for sure. (Ive been called a silly man for telling jokes while waiting to pay for one baguette and a trail mix.) I would work there for free just to keep 1 more aisle open. My ice cream melted before I even paid for it. And they never have Wild Caught Pacific Salmon. Customer Service, pleaseIve shopped over and over Mr. SAFEWAY. Your employees are super and kind, please treat them well (Christmas Parties?) Arden, Manzanita, Sunset, Folsom, 19th, Alhambra, Calvine, Oakland, Auburn.....

Always friendly, helpful staff... If you buy whats on sale you spend less money. I only go in for certain things and only if they are on sale.

Good selection of items, cashiers are pretty well staffed to where there aren’t long lines... and I have to say, every time I’ve come in to restock my place with goodies, this place has it all, minus...my favorite coffee creamer, wide awake, sold in SoCal. That would be one that I think would be amazing to add to your inventory, vanilla flavored preferred 😉

The woman who gave my client part 2 of the covid vaccination today… was less than professional, at best. As a pharmacy staff member, who’s “qualified” to administer vaccinations into somebody’s blood stream, she was completely ignorant about the vaccination, it’s ingredients and even about the science of vaccinations themselves. She must have assumed I was also ignorant or just plain stupid. The fact that she Ushered us out of the room ; holding the door open for us showed just how unprofessional she really is.I just wanted an honest answer about the vaccination and it’s ingredients. I figured who better to ask than the person administering the vaccine.

Expect to pay $2.00 for a can of Spaghettios here... but, a walk to the Walmart next door will have the same can of Spaghettios for #0.88. Jus sayin.

The groceries are a bit more expensive but they have a great variety and never run out of things. But the Starbucks here is phenomenal! :-)

Every time I go there is something I love on sale. They always have a supply of items and theres always the exact thing I am looking for at Safeway.

Its a grocery store. They have food there and their alcohol is reasonably priced.

Staff here is always very kind and the store is always clean.

This Safeway is set up like most of the other ones. The store was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. I will go back to this one if Im in the area again. They had a great selection of flowers.

By far one of the worst Safeways in the Sacramento area. The produce is often rotten, or close to it and its really disappointing, considering its just about the only grocery store in the Rancho Cordova area.

We appreciated the free 24 ct of free waters and free shopping bag from our Rancho Cordova Safeway. Clean, bright, spacious store is always a pleasure to shop in!!! And the customer service was outstanding!!!

Not my favorite grocery store(Raleys), this is a clean and friendly store. The selection is sometimes limited on some of the items we enjoy. The lines can get somewhat long for checkout.

Clean store. Friendly employees. The deli sandwiches are great. The produce is fresh and stays good for much longer than other stores. Worth the few extra dollars to not have to deal with the huge crowds and mess of Supercenters.

Very clean organized a little more pricey on some things try to catch the sales make sure you enter your card when you go though self check out so you get the savings .

Clean, staff is always friendly. Especially Jimmy in the meat department. The main guy with the ponytail in the produce, and the guy that handles the liquor isle. Sorry I cant remember their names, they are also awesome, friendly and helpful.

This is my local go to store for stuff. There is an Outstanding and great employee that I like seeing there named Leah! I was just at the store yesterday and got to say hi to her. All of the employees are really great too! No attitudes or anything! Keep it up!

From out of state. Hidden carts, security guy staring me down when I was looking for one. Inconsiderate staff. Figured the store would be bigger with more of the standard grocery options being next to walmart. Should have went to walmart, which is an unusual thing for me to say.

Safeway is so much than any other store

Safeway is my life saver to staying away from Walmart, plus they were bought out by Albertsons and they use to be my favorite store in the 90s. If they play their cards right I could see them filling that 25+ year void. Plus I like self checkout, never a crowd, super friendly staff and some deals when you are least expecting them

The deli sandwiches are fantastic, (and everything else in the deli is great too ) and I love everything in the bakery . I really enjoy the chocolate and vanilla cake slices when I have a sweet craving .

I love going to safeway from the manager to the baggers all very helpful. I would not shop with any other storewhen i was a young boy my first job was a bagboy and soda bottle sorter good job and it was nice on payday i think i took home maybe $ 25.00 a week it taught me responsibility. And it has carried over to now in my 70s.

I always love going to Safeway in the evenings. It isnt crowded, the shelves and display tables are always fully stocked and pleasing to the eyes. The service is always amazing, and so is the deliakery area. This location also has a cute Starbucks with friendly baristas in a kiosk near the deli area...

I currently live closest to the location on Howe Ave. I enjoy shopping there becaus its always been hassle free. One time the only item I couldnt find was _velveta melting cheese product. So I just got a similar item w/o an issue

I love Safeway! They are so friendly, their food is great quality, and their stores are very clean. They have a good selection and all of the Safeway brand products I have tried have been as good or better than name brand.

Great store customer service, however they need to review their food safety. We got one of those chickens and did not see on the breast by the bone was raw but we had already ate some of it and now I am sick.

Western union people up here most of the time has issues and excuses to decline/refuse customers every time different excuses

Depends what they have and I noticed my favorite soda is root beer barqs. It gone as not have there and I was like shoot because it only they have caffeine free for me and the rest soda not have caffeine free.

Excellent chinese hot food selection. Bakery is pretty good. Too bad they dont have the energy bars lately. Oh yeah they do have that honey wheat dark bread from cheesecake factory.
