Every Sunday I visit Jamil for a bagel and coffee, and a half-dozen bagels and a tub of veggie shmear to go. Sometimes an egg bagel with lox, onions, and tomatoes for my sweetheart... no capers. This is the only place around that I have found egg bagels. They dont always have them but Jamil tries to take care of me. Very nice folks, and they run it like a bagel shop should be run. Always clean, always friendly. I look forward to my visit every week.

First time eating here, pretty disappointed. Ordered the roast beef sandwich on white bread. Maybe that was the problem... should have stuck to the bagels. Sandwich was NOT worth the price of $9; I could have totally made it at home. Skimped on the horseradish sauce, so sandwich was dry and boring. Couldnt even taste the cheddar cheese. Description said sandwich was supposed to come with bagel chips. Guess what? They gave me a small bag of Cheetos. 👎

Nice, family run business with great bagels. We stop here most Sundays for an Everything Bagel egg sandwich and a Blueberry Bagel with cream cheese. We have not been disappointed. The bagels have great texture and flavor. The interior is nothing to rave about and it would be nice if there were some outdoor seating to sit and enjoy your coffee and bagel. Other than that, I highly recommend.

So many bagel choices! If california had a little more humidity they would taste exactly like NY ones. But the taste comes very very close. Everything is the most popular!

Excellent customer service. Our bagels were fresh we enjoyed every bite. Coffee was fresh. The place was clean and bright. I will definitely go back there again.

I was looking for bagels in the area and this was the first place that popped up on Google. We came in this morning and I decided to try the egg sandwich which for sure can be a hit or miss at bagel places. This egg sandwich was absolutely delicious. I saw his wife or daughter cooking it in the back fresh on the grill!!! and FRESH sliced avocado! Those things count for me. Also the veggie cream cheese was really good. Thank you!

Where to start?! This place is absolutely amazing. Great food! From there croissant breakfast sandwiches to their breakfast burritos, bagels and cream cheese, and the deli sandwiches. Everything is delicious. Im in love with thier Carmel frappes. Their food is always freshly prepared and hot on a plate. You will not make it far through the door before being greeted by a super friendly staff. The owners almost always come out and ask if everything is ok and if there is anything they can do for me. Ive never met such a friendly hard working staff. The store is very well maintained with tables and counters and machines constantly being cleaned. The owners have done an amazing job with N.Y. Bagel and continue to renovate thier menu. If you want great food, great service, for a great price N.Y. Bagel is your place. This is not your average bagel place, this is an authentic New York bagel shop that has been run properly. I highly reccomend to my family, friends, and anybody whos asks!

Stopped into grab some breakfast bagels, never been here before so it took us a minute to choose. The owners were very helpful with suggestions and letting us know what type of meats they have to choose from.I wanted to try their Asiago cheese Bagel sounded delicious, unfortunately it tasted like a plain bagel but it was still nice and soft. Wasnt too much a fan of the bacon it was a little to overdone for me but the eggs were nicely done. Now, the Everything Bagel my sister got on the other hand that was amazing! You could taste everything, she got it with sausage. Usually I skip out on the breakfast sausage but this time it was fine. We definitely wouldnt mind coming back for more of their Bagels.

Been here 3 times and the service and food are usually good. Picked up an order today and was disappointed that the bagel was burnt black. A little crisp is alright but burnt black they should have tossed it and toasted a new bagel. Most likely will not return. 😕

Its nice to have a bagel place in Rancho! Its tucked away in the corner of a shopping center with a busy Starbucks. A good plan B or place of you want to avoid lines. They dont serve any special coffees. Its like the self serve set up at 7 Eleven but its good coffee. Good selection of bagels and they have breakfast sandwiches. Dining area is clean and nice and theres lots of parking. Staff is very friendly.

Extremely friendly family run business! They get their bagels from a Jewish company in New York. As a New York Jew, I know my bagels and what they are meant to be like. These are legit! They’re really good with a crispy outside and soft inside. The sun dried tomato one is acool and excellent!

Hands down great food! I had an everything bagel with eggs and bacon. It comes with cheese but I took it off. The Coffee is also great! I think the price are definitely affordable.

Ok, we made a worthwhile trek from Corona to here in search of Einsteins that ended up being inside the airport, so we yelped bagels and NY Bagel caught our eye, we changed course and pleased that we did, breakfast bagel sandwiches with tasty bacon, egg, cheese(add cream cheese too), coffee all doe right and fresh, service was super too, definitely on our map to return to

The lox bagel is amazing. Expensive but good. The staff is always super nice and friendly. I only gave it four stars for the fact that the last couple of times that Ive went they didnt have alot of bagels made..very limited selection of what you could get. Other than that this place is great. Try the chicken and pesto panini its good.

If you are from the nyc area, this is your place! My wife and I have been searching for a good bagel place close to riverside. There are other places that claim to be nyc style bagel shop, but have fallen short. This is THE PLACE

This place next to a nail salon and it smells like acrylic in here and the food also taste like it too it has a scent acrylic taste. The smell of acrylic is everywhere and it permeates the food

Its a hit or miss. The first time I ordered online was through the menu on Gmaps, my order was ready- Fresh, soft and warm straight out the oven bagels. I was delighted. The second time I ordered same way, they had not received my order, but the owner accommodated right away by giving me the bagels that were already out on their display. He also warmed them up to toast them. When I got home with them they were hard to bite into, and one was a bit burnt. I suggest to make sure you are always getting fresh bagels, before you leave.

Great experience each time, warm welcome with a warm bagel, they have coffee, juice, water, energy drinks, & pickles along side with some chips.

Only been here twice my life. Yesterday and today, and there bagels are fresh chewy, soft and warm and with any combos you get with it it will always taste good and nice clean places as if your in a New York bagel store. Would recommend the rainbow bagel with salmon and tomato’s and onion!

Staff is friendly, seeds were burned on my bagels,maybe it was the toaster and the Turkey bacon was way overcooked, it was too crispy, egg could had some flavor. But again, staff is super friendly and will be back soon

These bagels are some amazing. The everything bagel with chives cream cheese so delicious. The cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with butter and jelly mmm so good. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Love it. Great bagels.

I had been craving a lox bagel and this is the most local place for me to get one. Its a bit expensive but tbh I think its worth it. The rainbow bagel looks crazy but taste just like a plain bagel. The lox was fresh and it was prepared nicely. I would recommend this place! and another plus, I wanted one for my boyfriend but I was meeting with him a bit later so I was able to order one unprepared so it wouldnt be soggy. My boyfriend enjoyed his as much as I enjoyed mine.

This place was okay. My kids shared a rainbow bagel and that bagel was great. Nice and soft and tasted fresh made. I got a lox bagel sandwich, it was pretty good but my garlic bagel was hard and the garlic sprinkled on top was a bit burnt. My husband had the egg bagel sandwich and his bagel was also tough to chew.

Perfectly chewy and crunchy, just like a good bagel should be. Honey almond cream cheese is my favorite. Their samminches are very good as well, with four or five breads available. Friendly staff and owner, highly recommended

The prices here are really good, affordable. The only thing I would say is not necessarily a bad thing .. probably more of a good thing cause the less salt the better right? but I could use more seasoning on the egg or its just missing a little somthing but still very good the breakfast sandwiches are like 4 dollars and loaded! Overall the bagels are pretty fresh and they even sell the spreads by the lbsA pretty guilt free food spot for me

So soft and dough like bagels. Perfectly fresh and crispy. Just like the NY bagels Ive had before.I had the lox and cream cheese bagel. The lox was fresh and silky just the way I like. The bagel was warm and crispy.The staff prepared it fast. And even with lines I was out in no time.

The plain bagle I ordered was way burnt, as well as being tough to chew. The cinnamon thing I got was stale. I spit it out it was so bad. Also the sandwich my boyfriend got was not very good. I do feel bad leaving a bad review because its the middle of a pandemic but still to serve old and stale food is not cool

Great selection of bagels and different spreads. If you want sweet you can get a blueberry bagel with strawberry spread. Savory? Asiago cheese bagel with scallion and bacon spread. Delicious! Bonus points for being the only bagel shop in town.

The staff of the location are always so friendly and service is magnificent. It is definately a place to go early in the morning to get your morning breakfast with coffee. I always walk out with a smile and I highly recommened the French toast bagel with PB&J.
