I mostly stocked up on sauces and such, they had almost everything I needed. The produce variety is amazing, also the Deli has great food. WARNING: the prices at checkout arent the same as on the shelves! Take notes. Also not as much Thai stuff as they used to carry. Cashier was very sweet.
Wow. Let me say wow again. I would say this is the top 3 Markets I have ever been to. If you need any type of thing from the water from fish to crustacean and somewhere in between. Fresh or salt this is the place. This place is super clean. And the people are so friendly. Produce awesome. Meat department awesome. The bread department oh my God! And the variety down the aisles. Consider coming to this Market as a field trip.
Its a nice supermarket with fresh items. I come here for the green onions, ginger and broccoli. Cheapest all around, and fresh. Getting fish or seafood here is also sort of a norm. When they have promotions on these items, prices are really great. I also get the specialty teas they offer plus some Chinese pastries. The prices on that area are not low, but if you like what you like, pay it.The cafe area they have offer limited dim sum items, but enough for a Sunday brunch at home. The meats (bbq pork, roasted pork, duck) are actually very good, bit again not quite cheap. For a family of four we spend average 100 bucks when buying at cafe place. I guess this place just a bit of everything for a specific day, not for everyday and not for everyone.
Really love the selection of products. Even though all 99 ranch markets carry similar items. Some carry more specific items then others. I had to go to three other stores just to find some Banh Xu Xe. I was extremely happy I was able to find it. I feel like the other stores that I went goo could have carried it, but whenever I would ask, I was just told No we dont sell that here, its Vietnamese.
Been shopping at 99 Rancho Market since it opened. They have a great selection of vegetables. Some you do not see in regular grocery stores. Love the candy and chip sections. I like trying different chips will there. Good fish and meat selection. 👌
This market is much better than other 99 Ranch Markets I visited. This store has a little bit more aisle space than others. It started to get messy in recent years. The store manager try to put more and more stuff inside the store, and the aisle space getting smaller than a couple years ago. I guess customer shopping experience is less important than sales.
Many Asian food items to choose from. Selection very good. Vegetable section has large variety of fruits and veggies. Store prices competitive.
Im pretty sure you can go pick out a live fish and have them gut it and scale it and all that. But Im pretty sure theyd expect you to buy it as well. Its a terrible date night idea anyway. I dont know what I was thinking.
Foods here are becoming very VERY EXPENSIVE. When you go most day some of the meat are not fresh because by the time I bought produce and meat home and over night it turns sours. However, this is a good place to find exotic asian foods and staff are nice except some meat especially grounds meat on certain days can go bad real quick.
The customer service is incredibly terrible. The guy in the seafood department is so impatient and even ignored me when I was talking to him. The cashier at the check-out counter is rude in the way talking to the customer. It is not fair to say all the other staffs working in the same terrible way, but only one or two could ruin the impression for the whole store.
I love to go get my plum candies
I love coming here! I entered to grab some sea food and a worker told me the way! Super clean and organize too!
Great store for authentic spices and ingredients needed for Chinese food making the seafood department is very large and has much to choose from
Came for my snacks. Friendly service.
If you dont know how to choose clams, just ask they will help you
A place to go for Asian products. And they have seafood (fish, clams, lobster, shrimp, and they carry meat product as well.
They do not listen well. I asked for skinned fish and fried well. Received skin on and barely cooked. Yuck
Good variety and the whole store doesnt smell like fish.
When you go to the seafood area, make sure to grab a number.“Don’t ever forget it or think that they see you though you’re there waiting for a long time!!!!” They won’t care at all!!!Even though you’ve been waiting for a long time and the workers can see that you have been waiting, they will not bother to entertain you since you don’t have a number!! It is not acceptable! I understand that there are rules to follow, however, I was just standing there, constantly asking for their attention, and they just won’t assist me at all!! They were simply making signals for me to just wait, and I have already been waiting!! The workers were just talking in the first place. How can they focus on their job when they are just chatting with each other!?
Im a fruity person! They carry fresh and hard to find items, luv it. Prices are affordable
Great bakery. Wide variety of Produce. Prepackaged food to go. You can buy a wide selection of beef and fish. Friendly Checkers.
In the back of the store you can get great tasting sushi at a very good price.
Lots of different flavors/ brands. So much variety. Almost every aisle has many different types of noodles.
We love going here because they have a great selection of products for a reasonable price
Overpriced vegetables and fruits, not to mention most of the food are rotting on the shelves. Sometimes I even got moldy vegetables when I opened the package at home. I’m only going in for the sauces and dry goods. Compare this store to other local groceries, you could get fresher produce and better price elsewhere. I’ve been coming to this store for the past 7 years and It’s a shame cuz it’s the only Chinese market in Rancho.
Such a wonderful place, it has so many choices. Its a Chinese Market, and a great place to learn about Chinese culture through Cuisine. Highly Recommend!
Hard to find items can be found here should you be looking for asian cooking ingredients, teas, beer, fruit an vegs..and baked goods.
Great Asian grocery.Lots of variety on favorite items.Spacious all As.Very organized and clean.
Great store, prices mostly reasonable. The restaurant is pretty good as well. And they have a row of gatchapon machines! Very cool
Asian market where I can find Asian food, fruit n vegerables in my neighborhood in Rancho Cucamonga. But the prices are much higher (sometimes double) than those Asian markets in Pomona! Many times they just increase more than 50% of the prices for no reason. They do not offer to fry the fish you buy anymore, but still clean it for you. Dont bother to ask any questions to their employees in English, most of them cant understand or speak English,, only Chinese please!
Good for Asian food but it a little pricey
Costermer services can be better but over all it ok
This place always has fresh produce, also live seafood! The kitchen is great and the bakery is just awesome 👌
People stare at non-Asians shopping here but it is mostly the patrons, not the workers. They always have the ingredients, food and liquor I’m looking for.
Good variety of asian grocery, but safety concerns are rasien, theres multiple robberies happen in parking lot for single women with purse, the market should hire security but they are being cheap on that.Watch out the environment before and after parking ladies
So good (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
ExcellentBest Asian Market.Friendly and Helpful staff.Remarkable selection.
Plenty of parking. Nice staff. Great variety of produce. Awesome prices on some products like bean sprouts, jazmine, and green teas....and AMAZING pastries! You must try the almond coconut pastry; its decadent!
One stop shop for everything you need! This is the number one Asian grocery in this area. The biggest and the best! They have something for everyone who has need of an Asian market, and very cool for someone who has not been to a place like this. The produce is great and especially for stuff you wont find in your local Vons or Stater Bros. The market deli is really great, with a wide variety of prepared dishes as well as pastry and roast meats including duck, and pork, and chicken. The live seafood area is second to none, with so much variety that it cannot be listed in this review. If you are looking for live lobster, crab, shrimp, clam, or many varieties of fish this is the place for you. All in all, a great place to shop! Highly recommended!
Fantastic place for vegetarians And meat eaters alike but especially vegetarians
Very fresh seafood, great variety and value
Great seafood section but.... The smell is unbearable, which makes you wonder the freshness of the product.
A little pricy but clean market, with good selection
This market has it all, takeout, seafood and meat deli, bakery, and hard-to-find asian ingredients. If you are looking to make genuine asian cuisine, this is the place to shop. Their bakery also serves cakes that are styled differently than the ones you can find at American grocery stores. They also have a variety of Asian produce you cant find anywhere else like rambutan, dragonfruit, shimeji mushrooms, etc etc.
I love it the place was very enjoyable
Fresh sea food and they fry it it u want
A huge variety of Asian groceries. Also live crabs, fish etc. Fresh meats at reasonable prices. Will definitely shop there again and again.
This is one of the local stores that took the COVID-19 virus very seriously. They restricted the number of customers in their store and had a concierge disinfecting carts before they are taken into the store. They also didnt allow customers to bring their shopping bags into the store. The store is always clean but most of the item sold are Chinese or Korean, which poses a challenge for those who only read English. I go there for rice and soy sauce, which they have plenty of.
I guess this is the place to go if you want Asian food, but for anything else, prices are expensive! As in, the produce and meat had really high prices compared to Aldi where Im used to.They have the fresh seafood aquariums, which was fun for my toddler .In the back corner theres a Panda Express type restaurant. We got the salt and pepper fries fish, noodles, orange chicken, and eggplant. Prices were okay, and portions were giant. My husband and I shared a 3 entree plate for $9.
Great for Asian recipes shopping.
I’m completely in love with your store every year we save enough money to have a fest of fresh seafood!!! My husband always buys crab from the fish tank and have you steam it! We also but shrimp and fish, he’s from a family of fisherman so he knows about fresh and quality seafoodI always end up buying more items! We’ll see you on thanksgiving! Thank you 🙏🏻
If you want a great Asian market, this is the store. Shelves not as empty as the one in my neck of the woods so I truly suggest this one. The veggie department is great!
Very good place to shop some asian grocery
Have your cooking Asian food the best place to go there to get your gredients I recommend that
Capacity is regulated so thats good. I love getting fresh fruit and produce here. And the snacks aisle are fun to go down. Only asian store i got to since its pretty much the only one in the area.
Alwayz take my Mom here every weekends.

They have good items
I like Oriental veggies
Excellent Panasian grocer, meat, fish, poultry and fresh produce. Theres also a bakery, Dim Sum, sushi rolls and other items to go. Highly recommend.
This is an amazing store with a huge selection of international Asian foods. I saw many vegetarian items as well. Word of caution though, dont be in a hurry because everything is in other languages with some English too. Instacart shoppers beware... very difficult to find everything unless you are familiar with this type of food!
Was very big for a Chinese market, but smelled like dried up seaweed. The employees were not very helpful, very rude, and as a paying customer I expect some courtesy from the cashier instead of getting the bag tossed to you. I did enjoy seeing live fish tanks, just didnt like smelling them.
Poor serviceMisleading pricesDon’t feel like going back
I love this market. It has everything and anything you could want to eat. They have safety procedures in place. Everyone wears their mask.
This is a asian specialty store with tons of stuff, a large area with fresh seafood meat and produce. There are also 2 different restaraunts inside. Prices are pretty good only downfall is they could be a little cleaner.
I have no clue what half the stuff is, but its fantastic and I bought frozen durian and it was super gross. 10/10
A lot of fish products, not bad for a international Asian market. They have a lot of good seafood too choose from.
They have a very wide variety of tea to choose from.
Good customer service and they have a wide variety of items for cooking and household.
Asian groceries are abundant in this place and I really love it coz I like to cook asian cuisine.
Good place found everything I needed to cook my drunken noodles and also leeches and jack fruit.
I LOVE IT 🙌✨♾🙏🤲💜💜💜💜
I love this Asian market! It is always an adventure shopping for ingredients for my ethnic cooking. They also have a cooked foods counter, a bakery and a butchers and fish monger. I always drive home with a great Asian snack which usually doesnt make it home.
Closes asian grocery store to me. Fresher meats than staters or vons.
Great place to get a variety of meats and produce not found at Staters or Food4Less.
Asian market great place for seafood, friendly people, clean store, will return
Love 99 Ranch! Seafood is FRESH! Amazing choices for snacks and sauces!!!
Love this market. We get live lobster, fish, oysters, other seafood and meat and produce. Super fresh and Awesome prices and everyone is always friendly and helpful
Its always a joy and a pleasure to visit this store. Clean, not crowded, so many unique items to choose from! Excellent customer service as well!
This place is good for veggies, meat, and fresh fish. But if you are looking for a specific brand of dried staples, you may not be able to find it. This place is very small compared to the Chinese markets in the San Gabriel area. But they are one of the cleaner Asian markets.
This is the only place that sells my favorite snacks. Mochis ( many flavors) from Mais Bakery. So yummy and delicious, and great price.
Love this place. If you make soup check this place out!!
I love this store! Asian food is my favorite and you can find whatever youre looking for here. And even if you arent looking for anything in particular its lots of fun to explore here and buy new things. Staff is friendly and helpful too.
I have a few complaints about this location. For starters there is almost a whole section with different brands of light and regular soy sauces, but no sweet soy sauce and the only dark soy sauce was out. Lots in brand representation, but lacking in different varieties. The guys at the meat counter are lazy as well. Ive gone on different occasions and theyve refused to cut or slice the meat per request. No other meat counter Ive been to has denied requests. They cannot cube it, they cannot slice it thin, they ONLY slice it into long strips, and you cannot buy a certain amount of pounds either. You have to buy the whole slab or cut. WTH? Worst meat counter ever.Ive also purchased the roasted duck from the hot foods counter and the guy whose job is to chop up the meat refused to do it. Another worker who has a totally different job had to step in to do it. Thank you to him! Apparently some of their staff are too privileged to do their job. Management is completely lacking if this is the type of service their staff is allowed to give.
3 Stars only because of language barriers. I dont understand chinese😬 other than that super fresh vegetables, variety of asian items to try., Friendly staff👍😁
Decent place. Has the Asian veggies Ive been looking for. But the place just kind of feels not clean. Its not explicitly dirty, but just doesnt feel clean. I like the one in Chino Hills better, but obviously thats quite a bit of a drive away.
I wanted to give a huge shoutout to this location. My father-in-law lost his wedding ring here a few days ago, and called to see if they had found it. They hadnt at that point, but then today they called him and said that they had found it! He has been very happily reunited with his 50 year old wedding ring, and I am so grateful for conscientious and honest workers at this store!! Our whole family is absolutely delighted. We love this store!
Very good variety of seafood and other grocery items
Best grocery store for east asian products. Ton of variety along with some niche items. If you cant find what youre looking for here than I doubt youll find it anywhere else in town
There so rude. Not even a hello or not even my total. I had to ask for my total the cashier just point to the screen
Hit or miss like most things during the pandemic. But the only local place that carries many hard to find Asian ingredients. Prices are somewhat reasonable, but on the higher side for standard staples.
Always a pleasure to have a local 99 Ranch Market instead of having to go the distance to 714 or 626.
Its my first time to shop here the first thing I notice is that the associates are rude especially r the register my daughter spend $300 worth and my daughter even say thank you and the cashier just ignored which supposedly the one to appreciate that we shop at the store!!! We ask for a rewarding thing and she just handed the paper like throwing duh!! Well, I think the management needs to orient their associate to show good manners!
This is a great place for any Asian ingredients needed. Produce and meat counters are stocked well good price. They have a huge seafood department my only complaint is that you can smell the sea food department. It all looks super clean everything iced down but it smells like a packing plant when you get close to the fish.
One of my favorite places in rancho to go to ged sea fopd and asian sauces/ seasoning
