2 years ago we remodeled our kitchen and went to many big box store to look for appliances which was confusing and frustrating then thankfully we found Pacific Sales!Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful, we had Steve who made the whole process seamless plus made sure we got the best prices/ bundled promotions and followed through with the installation which really took a lot of the stress off our shoulders and we love everything in our new kitchen.Fast forward to last month month, when my mom who just moved here from Maui needed to buy a washer/ dryer combo and we sought after Steve and he was so kind and patient with my 81 year young mother m and explained the different brands and features and benefits.Again Steve followed through with her until the installation and made sure she had all the needed accessories to make it a stress free process.I trust Pacific Sales and Steve with my mom, that is really saying something!!I have also referred my 2 neighbors to them and all are very happy with their customer service.

My salesperson, Jen Perry, made it so incredibly easy and beat the price of everyone else in my area. She shipped it to me and they installed it within 24 hours. It was amazing! No one else could get me what I needed within a week. I was so satisfied with the service! Love my refrigerator!

We were in need of a dishwasher as our old one broke. We wanted a Miele, and tried at different local sellers. No one could help us get one within a week. Pacific Sales has been my go-to appliance store for over a decade now. Being in the home renovation business, along with being a Realtor, its been a life saver to find a company that I could rely on, as well as find product with good pricing. The service has always been outstanding, and my go-to rep Jennifer Perry has always gone above and beyond to make all of our transactions seamless. I cant thank her enough, its becoming increasingly rare these days to find great customer service, and its refreshing to see traditional caring of clients still a staple within Pac Sales.

I live in Carlsbad, but I was in the Rancho Mirage area last weekend, so I thought Id stop to shop for major kitchen appliances for my upcoming remodel. While I was there, I noticed an outdoor coffee table with an enclosed glass fire feature. After thinking about it over the weekend, I called Tuesday morning to see if it was still available. So I made the (over 2 hour) trek out again to Rancho Mirage. The glass on the top listed it as $249.99, with a round sticker next to it stating it was sold as a set (with the table). There was no other sticker on the table portion noting the cost. When I got there, the sales representative said that was not the total cost of the table. Apparently, it was 50% off on sale for $1,250 since it was missing a regulator. The problem is, I did not see any price posted on the surface of the actual table. Others who were with me saw the same thing. I mentioned that the price was misleading and the sales rep knew I came from Carlsbad. So after spending over 4.5 hours on the road, a tank of gas in my old Escalade, I came back empty-handed. Its too bad for them as well since I could have spent a small fortune on new kitchen appliances.

I arrived close to closing time at Pacific Sales to buy a full suite of kitchen appliances. John was assigned to help me out and with remarkable efficiency, he guided me through the entire process, helped me get the best deal, and even though we went a bit over when he was supposed to be out of there, he was super helpful and nice. I couldnt be happier with the end result, either. Great place, amazing selection. Ill go back for some kitchen hardware now.

Well let me just start by saying...they are all great! We were helped by Mary and John. Their patience and willingness to help was remarkable. We needed a certain size and style for our home and needed to stay in budget. Instead of giving up, they rolled up their sleeves and came through 100%. Mary & John were so easy to work with I would recommend them without question!

Horrible. We ordered appliances. That was the only thing I can say was normal😗.We came in the NEXT day and cancelled one item of $600.They take checks right out of the checking account immediately which is ok but the refund is over a month.. still not received… from corporate office because our salespersonwas not clear to corporate office that there was NO structure or mailbox to receive the check and it needed to come to the house we are residing in.Our salesperson kept telling us it was on the way. Then when I found out it was sent incorrectly she advised it was “Corperate protocol “ and the money HAD to go there. She was going to track it but she won’t call me back.Really. Don’t shop here if you don’t need to. We will never again. I cannot get a call back at this point and I am shocked how bad they are serving the customer .

Very pleasant store with well laid-out displays of appliances. The staff was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant to work with. It felt like they really wanted to please me.When it turned out that the microwave I selected would not be avaliable for over a month, she suggested other stores that might have some stock.I ended up buying nothing, but will go back when I need another appliance.

Had very poor relationship with Pacific SalesBeing stopped at door with requirement to provide name (not for temperature) made purchase easily but from then on it was down hill. I was promised a call to confirm delivery-no call! I called them but could not speak to a person. Left messages but no call back. When delivery was made product was majorly damaged(don’t they check?) I called again left message with no call back. I am done! Cancelled order got money back.

Terrible experience!Went in asking for an over the range microwave? I was sold a countertop microwave in a box, so I didnt realize the mistake till getting home.Incompetent staff.Open the box and check your merchandise before leaving is my advice.

Have shopped here 5 years now.. recently needed a microwave for an air bnb the day I called.. they couldnt get me the one I wanted for 3 days.. they are closing in an hour.. the man on the phone got me an LG for a better price and had it in my truck within that same hour.. today I will buy a wall unit air conditioner.. highly recommend this business..

In August my husband and needed new appliances. After research and availability we chose Pacific Sales in Rancho Mirage. We had purchased at PS before but this was a major overhaul.. Covid forced many items to be delayed but we proceeded. Purchased our appliances back in November 2019 for a remodel that started in January 2020. The initial purchase was easy as we knew the exact appliances we wanted. Our sales person, Leslie, was fabulous at price matching so we felt we got a great deal. Construction was significantly delayed due to COVID. Fast forward to July for delivery. There were a few hiccups with delivery and installation as we were trying to manage this from out of state. Again, our sales person Leslie, was incredibly responsive to our concerns. She answered our emails and phone calls very quickly and went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied customers. Would have given 5 stars if the hiccups for delivery and installation had not been there.

What a fabulous visit I had at Pacific Sales today. I was shopping for a washer dryer combo and had been all over the valley and on the internet in my quest getting little to no help at all the usual places. I was frustrated when a friend suggested that I try Pacific Sales. After my trip to Home Depot, Lowe’s and Costco I really wasn’t very hopeful but drove over to their Rancho Mirage location. Unlike the other stores I was greeted immediately and directed to the area where the washer dryers are. Here’s the amazing part. I actually got a salesman who listens and tries to help me. They don’t have a floor model of what I am looking for but he, Jeff Caldwell can get it and he proceeds to his computer and he pulls up a better option than I was originally checking out. I tell him I like it but need to see if it will work in the space I have. No pressure. He printed the spec sheets for me and gives me his card. No pressure again. I check it out and sure enough it works. When I return he could not have been more helpful. I purchased it thanks to Jeff and Pacific Sales. I will check them first from now on.

Excellent service! Jeff Caldwell went out of his way to help me purchase a washing machine. I don’t live in the area so Jeff handled everything over the phone. In less than 20 minutes he had the whole transaction completed. Lisa Corona was very helpful too. Washer will be delivered in 2 days.

Nice place to window shop. If you want to spend $5,000 for a stove or $11,000 for a refrigerator this is your place. They do have a selection of appliances for plebian budgets.

Pam is AMAZING! We looked at so many stores and had no luck buying appliances for our remodel. We walked into Pacific Sales and Pam got everything ordered within an hour. She is so knowledgable about all of the brands and answered all of my questions. She also went above and beyond with the delivery considering we lived 5 hours away from the store. I highly recommend her!!

Clearance deals are the best around. Nice product all around for the fancy chef. Rick is NOT a good salesman. He forgot our order, and did not release the appliances on time. Had called him a week before we planned to pick them up and then had to WAIT 30 minutes for the appliances to be wrapped. I would shop there again, but would NOT work with Rick again

I cannot say enough about the high service level I experience with Tim L. and Charlotte at Pacific Sales, Palm Desert. Tim was able to resolve an issue I had with a warranty on my washer, and Charlotte followed up and provided me the information I needed to get my repair....all of this done a year after I purchased the washer. Their commitment to service and to resolving my issue was fantastic and not something we see much of in todays world.

Great show room, probably largest in the valley, Jose M in the plumbing dept helped me out with some questions I needed answered and he helped me get my water conditioner warranted as well. ill be buying from him in the future. I recommend jose for advice he sit all the way in the rear right of the building. I would have gave the place 5 stars but he was one of the first to help me while everyone else was standing around or on phones.

I had the best experience at Pacific Sales in Rancho Mirage. Jehan Panares (JP) was absolutely the kindest, knowledgeable, and fun person to work with. She helped me decide on a sink...was very honest about which products would last longer. She took the time to show me faucets, filters...etc. I highly recommend anyone that goes in to look for her. It was a huge difference from when I went to Ferguson in Rancho Mirage looking to buy things for my bathroom. Ferguson was awful. They treated me as though I didnt belong in that store. Anyways, JP is awesome and I will definitely be going again.

Im a single senior citizen who is remodeling 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. I was shocked to read a review saying, Customer Service is bad.I thought the service was excellent! I had to wait to be helped, but George in appliances was worth waiting for. He answered all my questions and I felt comfortable with his suggestions.Jan in kitchen and bath was equally helpful. I was able to pick out everything with her input and very comfortable with my selections. My kitchen is finished and beautiful!Were all entitled to our opinion and this is mine.

They delivered a $6700. Kitchen Aid refrigerator that did not work when it was plugged in!!! They are sending a repairman to fix it.....a brand new refrigerator!!! The new warming drawer has a dent in it & has to be replaced!! The double oven works perfectly. The microwave hopefully will be delivered in January. Our salesman was a smooth talker but not much else. Very I dont care attitude. When I asked to speak with the manager he told me that the manager probably wouldnt be able to speak with me because he was with someone. GRRRRR.A most frustrating experience. We spent $15,000. Will spread the word about our very bad experience with this company!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! We will NEVER go back to this store for anything, even a paper clip! We spent over $10,000 here with new appliances for our remodeled kitchen. They delivered everything except the microwave (which they couldnt find). We were scheduled for its delivery two weeks later, but on that day, they called to say they still couldnt find it and that it would arrive in early January. The shipping dept. and the store were not allowed to speak to each other about the issue. We cancelled the order with Pacific Sales, paid for the microwave elsewhere and have yet to received the credit back from Pacific Sales. Talk about a messed up store! They may have good prices, but its NOT WORTH IT!

I purchased a high end S.S. KitchenAid microwave 14 months ago... Dead as a door nail! No warranty, no nothing... $600 bucks! I think these appliances they sell are 2nd hand or refurbished. Never again!

Worth the trip to way out Palm Desert. Plenty of parking. Cool stuff inside.

So they have a great selection of mostly high end products with a very well trained sales force. There are some very business model issues that make no sense to me. The showroom as they call it opens at 10am. In the Desert the Showroom needs to be open at 7 or 8 am so that contractors can pick things up and exchange things and come with clients without killing an entire day. Or it could be open for pick ups and exchanges and not for new orders. It also needs to be open 7 days a week, so that couples who work can come on Sunday as well to select things.The other huge issue is that most customers occupy a sales person for a long time. If you are buying 6 appliances it could take an hour, If you are doing bathrooms and kitchen you could be with the salesperson for 90 minutes. Meanwhile if you try to call you can go to VM, and often the salesperson has no time to respond or even hear the VM. and they can miss things like a delivery time, or that something is not available . So you end up frustrated because you cannot resolve something with a single call. They also need to take calls while they are working with people. The employees should be in 1-2 hours before 10am to follow up when the store is closed, to answer questions, and they should have a way for contractors or customers to come up to a window to pick up or solve an issue with someone quickly between 8 an 10am.I think their business model is flawed. There should be two sets of sales people to start earlier, and then be replaced by others who stay later, extend hours and be open 7 days a week. It is very hard when a client is with a contractor and everyone has a limited amount of time and you arrive and your salesperson is in the beginning of possibly a 1-2 hour sale. And then they are stacked up busy all day and you really do not have the answers you need. The choices in the desert are complicated. Lowes and HD are just terrible. They have little or no salespeople and it is very difficult to shop there. Sears has good employees but there is a confidence issue with the state of affairs with the company and sometimes it is so difficult to speak to someone local when it comes to delivery issues. Best Buy owns Pacific Sales. So you do not really have to go to PS if you want some more basic appliances.I just wish that the great attention that you get with salespeople here was supported by better hours, assistants who can help the salespeople and a quick ask/pick up employee who can make it possible to run in and out without having to wait for a long time or wait for a response to a VM for 6 hours or even a day.

Customer service is bad. I spent about 15K. On the date they were suppose to deliver, they did not come. When I called, was told they had not scheduled it though they collected the full payment to schedule a deliver. Got on the phone to the manger and instead of an apology got an answer In defence- we do a really really good job. We are the number 1 store. You had multiple orders hence the warehouse made a mistake Am I really suppose to learn their system? and to defend their mistake by telling my how good they are -WOW

Chris Nelson, in the electronics department, is very knowledgeable about TVs, sound systems, etc. He was extremely helpful in our purchase process, laying out the differences in qualities of TVs so that we could get the most out of our money. Product knowledge like this is something you definitely wont get at a big box store.

Pacific Sales has a broad range of appliances available and while the sales person is confident and engaged, my purchase is disappointing and is not what I expected for the price. I purchased a KitchenAid Model # KRSC503ESS00, recommended by Consumer reports and the sales rep. I was looking at this model, LG and GE profile . Once of my criteria was that is had wheels .. This is what I have ended up with. A refrigerator with a Roller . it takes pulling off the front panel with a screwdriver, using a wrench to screw up the feet and then it rolls, and the doors are not aligned! this is not acceptable. Next: 3 months after the purchase when opening the freezer door there is a huge thumping noise. the outside of this refrigerator is extremely hard to keep clean of smudge marks. The service in my area is also less than acceptable. Only M- F and they require all day at home! really. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL and beware that the sales people are only trying to make a sale. Pacific Sales has been purchased by Best Buy.

I bought a refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher and cook top when I remodeled my kitchen. They delivered everything but the dishwasher, and when I asked about it, they said that it was delivered to the store for us to pick up. They made a mistake, and said they would bring it out later. That was no big problem as we were not ready to install it yet anyway. We were not ready to put the refrigerator in place yet either, and the delivery man suggested that rather than leaving it in the middle of the kitchen forcing the contractor to work around it, they would put it in the garage and when they brought out the dishwasher, they would bring in the refrigerator. A week later, different deliverymen brought the dishwasher and when I asked them to bring in the refrigerator, they were rude, told me they didnt have rime to bring it in from the garage and refused. I called Pacific Sales and they were told to bring it in. They brought it in and left immediately. When we took away the box,I saw it had two large scratches on the front. When I called to complain, they told me I could either wait until they got another one in stock or accept two hundred dollars off the price. My contractor told me he would try to buff out the scratches so I said I would take the two hundred dollars. When he went to install the cook top, the box housing the working parts was not properly attached and the top itself seemed warped.. There was no way to tighten it to the cabinet and the back raised approximately a quarter inch off the counter top. If you pushed it, it bounced. I called Pacific Sales on Tuesday. I was told they didnt have another cook top in stock, but would get one on Thursday or Friday and they would send it out with an installer on Monday. When I didnt get a call to confirm the delivery time on Sunday, I called Pacific Sales and got a taped message that said they were closed on Sunday and Monday. My contractor came back Monday to finish up the kitchen. When I told him that Pacific Sales wasnt delivering the cook top, He said If I wanted, he would take it apart and see if he could fix it. He spent most of the day fixing the cook top which is now installed. To date, two weeks later, no one from Pacific Sales has either delivered a cook top, nor called me to schedule a delivery time. Nor have I seen any sign of the $200.00 I am supposed to get back on the refrigerator.P.S. the dishwasher was 1/4 inch taller than the specification printed for it. That meantgrinding down the legs or replacing the granite counter top. We chose to grind down the legs. I planned to pay the contractor for remodeling the kitchen, not having to pay him to remodel new appliances

Cant beat it... We have remodeled 5 homes and condos, would not go anywhere else. Selection, price, service, delivery, and set-up.The only negative not open Sundays

No one said hello or offered to help. I asked one salesman a question and he said he had another customer. Was very rude. I was there to buy a refrigerator but walked out instead.

Called 3x for repair and the automated service hung up on me everytime

We went to look for appliances. We were in the store more than hour before anyone spoke to us. We wanted to ask about ovens but no one in that area would give us the time of day not even a “hello we’ll be with you soon”. Not one word. I get they are busy but they could also speak!

I think they need to hire more people so they too can stand around and ignore customers needing help.
