Went to Big 5 Sporting Goods to get a hat or two. I wanted some new golf hats. They keep the top of my head from getting sunburned. They had some hats on sale, so I got a Nike black hat and an Adidas black with red lettering hat. Great deal on both hats, marked down from $26.95 to $16.95 and $15.95. I also brought some golf balls.Highly recommend

Low cost work boots! Frequent sales also for discounted boots. I give extra kudos to the Mgr who helped. Simultaneously I was getting boots. A couple was fighting over soccer shoes for their girl. Last, another couple walked in demanding service. Wow! Retail work... That Mgr had nerves of steel, kept calm and had everyone serviced. I think the employee she had was a bit new for the shoes area. Besides the example, Ive received excellent customer service. Ive found some clothes quite cheaper than Target next door. **TIP** They sell Adventure Passes so if youre going up to Holy Jim or Trabuco Creek Picnic site get one and avoid a possible fine. They also sell fishing licenses too. Not a huge store, but stocked very well.

Big store, plenty of great selections, inventory is kept up well, and plenty of staff to get you in and out quick.

It isnt their fault that they never have ammo in stock..... Or is it?

Decent selection of long guns. Very good selection of ammo, especially .22. Ammo is inexpensive compared to most places locally. Firearm lockers are also inexpensive.

The shoe guy was great. Very attentive.

I couldnt find my size soccer knee high socks but the sales associate Im interested he had some in the back and sure enough she brought out two of each color in my size ready to go. If it wasnt for him I would have left disappointed and upset that my soccer uniform would be incomplete.

Admirably efficient, thorough, patient and courteous, Manager Bao showed repeatedly that his thoughts were centered on my interests and not his sale.I found his knowledge in firearms and local shooting resources - and willingness to kindly share what he knows - as the best Ive experienced, including that which Ive experienced and seen at numerous gun-only shops in multiple states.Bao has no attitude except that of friendly, professional excellence. His staff is being visibly affected in the best way by his positive example, so Id expect (and saw) quality service from them, too.

AWESOME staff best service

Went for some shoes they have on sale. The ones on display are noticeably darker than the ones the salesman brought out. Asked him why, he said the ones in the boxes were probably faded. WTH? Asked him to see if he could find a pair of the dark ones. He came out a few seconds later and said they were all the same.
