So Rude! Called to place an order over the phone for pickup and was told that my order could be fulfilled and it would be ready in 10 mins. Not even a minute later I get a call back saying that the type of bagel I wanted wasn’t available, so I would have to get it on a plain bagel. But after the second call I just didn’t want the order anymore. So I called right back wanting to cancel the order! The lady was giving me a hard time just to cancel it, so I think she put the manager or whoever on the phone. He asked me what the problem was but was very rude about it. He then put me on hold to reprimand the employee for telling me that my order would take more than 10 mins to be made. I could literally hear him yelling at her in the background. He was trying to get me to pick up the order because it was already made but, they initially told me it would take 10 mins, even though I called in less than 10 mins to cancel. He was so persistent about trying to figure out why I didn’t want the order anymore. Asking me if I couldn’t afford it or something. Like why does that even matter?! All they had to do was cancel it and hang up. The whole time he was giving me attitude and terrible customer service! He then finished the call saying that I should never call back or order there again…. All of this over me wanting to cancel my order! I’ve been getting my bagels from Alfa Bagel for years and it was the only place I preferred my bagels from. I even put lots of family and friends onto this deli but NO MORE! We will all take our business elsewhere! After this experience NEVER AGAIN!

Cheap spot for on-the-go breakfast, should you be running late to work. The food is actually very good, and you have many options. Dont forget to make sure they placed utensils and/or your sauce in the bag. They tend to forget sometimes, but this is probably due to new staff.

Recently moved to the area and was recommended to try Alfa by a neighbor. Hands down best bagels in the area. Growing up in NY its hard to impress me when it comes to bagels. Look no further Alfa is the answer for a perfectly delicious bagel.

Im usually not a fan of bagels, but Alfa Bagels is a hidden gem and knows how to make stellar bagels! Their bagels are crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. My two favorites are the Everything Bagel and Cinnamon and Raison Bagel.

Won’t be going there again. Don’t order the Cafe Latte as they don’t know how to make them. Order our food with a latte, when I got the latte, I thought I was drinking plain steam milk. When my husband went back to counter, the response was “that’s the way we make it. They didnt offer to put a little more expresso, how much could that have cost them to make a customer happy after spending almost $20. Bad Customer service.

A small bagel shop with great food and prices. Excellent breakfast selection, fast service, best bagels in the area hands down. Get there early or order ahead for popular bagels, Everything bagels are always 5 minutes from being sold out. If you buy in half of full dozens for the week, make sure to transfer them to airtight containers or bags after they cool. You only get 2 days out of the paper bags.

Big chewy bagels, many bagel shops keep decreasing the size of the bagels, not this place, very good choice!

If youre looking for a quick and great quality breakfast sandwich this is the place to go. The bagels are so incredible fresh and soft. You can also call ahead of time to quickly get in and out.

Everything they serve is amazing, bagels, fries, onion rings, pizza, sandwiches all of them are above and beyond. I’ve been to Alfa bagels a countless amount of times and I’ve finally decided to write a review. The entire place is mostly clean and the food is some of the best locally.

We used to think our regular bagel shop had the best bagels in town- but one town over we found Alpha! These are without a doubt the best bagels I have ever had in my life!!!!!! They sell out quickly but usually have enough in supply or hot and ready to replenish the racks that empty almost as fast as they can stock them. I wish we could add one more star to this rating!!! Yes folks they are that good! You will NOT be disappointed.

This place needs to be cleaner. There was hair cooked inside the bagel itself. That is disgusting. I came here because of reviews but I didn’t like the way it looked inside anyway. There should be one person handling money.

Have been a customer for years. The bagels are great! but I find their Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese sandwiches really skimpy and a bit dry. A single small egg and a couple slices of Taylor Ham. Always better to pick up a half dozen bagels and make your sandwich at home. Parking can be tricky but you can typically squeeze in somewhere.

My girlfriends family lives in Randolph and they always love to order from here for breakfast whenever were in town. Its definitely one of the better bagel places I have gotten food from, but it just didnt live up to the massive hype Ive heard about. Its pretty good, just not amazing in my eyes.

Recently drove all the way to NYC so I can have an amazing real bagel. Both my wife and agreed we wasted our time. Why? Because weve had Alpha bagels. Hads down the best bagel Ive had...specially in Morris and Sussex counties. Homemade whitefish salad and a selection of cured salmon would push it over the top.

Great little Cafe for a quick bagel fix! I got a toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Really hit the spot! The bagel was fresh and soft but also firm from toasting it. Id definitely recommend this place if youre in the area and want some bagels!

Fresh bagels. Great for basic jersey breakfast. Bring cash because they charge extra to use a card. Parking is difficult as there are not many spots. Also, just a personal preference, I wish they had turkey bacon. But otherwise the food is pretty tasty.

There is a good reason why Alpha is voted BEST bagel shop in Morris County NJ, they have mastered the art of making Outstanding bagels.There are so many places that sell bagels, but Alpha is the only place where we buy bagels. They have really good bagels but I have one gripe and it’s that the everything bagel doesn’t have enough stuff on it. Just a cheap little sprinkling of poppy seeds and salt. When I order an everything bagel I don’t want it to look like it was a plain bagel that shared a bag with a real everything bagel.

Holy smokes this place has the best bagels! They have this thing called the hungry man and it comes with a bagel egg and cheese sandwich, hashbrowns and coffee. Perfect place to have breakfast. It is a little small for eat in though. Usual line on weekend mornings but so worth the wait.

I have never gone to a bagel shop that was kept so clean with a spacious seating area so well kempt; especially considering how busy they are open to close. The owner, Jimmy, is there at 04:30 every morning, an hour and a half prior to the doors opening to start making the fresh amazing bagels by hand. Jimmy or Alfa Bagel employs a wonderful, well organized professional staff that makes you feel welcome and priority one no matter how many customers are in line.

Every time I come to visit my girlfriends family, I come to Alfa at least once. Certified NJ Bagel dankness. This is the real deal. I recommend get a bag of bagels for the family (very cheap) and throwing in their delicious cream cheese with chives.

Alfa has the best bagels around! They are huge and delicious. They are always fresh and quite often are still warm. Out favorites are the everything, asiago cheese, and rainbow.
