Took my Mom ( 92 years old) for new updated hearing aids that are rechargeable. The staff (Sophie and Joann and the gentleman (forgot his name) were absolutely great! Extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in slow detail! Easy to understand and a pleasure to listen to. Kudos to the Randolph office! We went back twice for adjustments and Joann was great. Five stars!! Thank you for everything.

WARNING! Do not be TRICKED by the salesman they hide in the back room! I went to see Joanne Kaplan at the Randolph Office. She was very pleasant as I explained I had broken one of my hearing aides and needed to purchase a replacement. She gave me a hearing test then casually mentioned how lucky I was because there was a sales rep available to show me the latest models. I expressed that I didnt have much money to splurge seeing as how hearing aides are sadly an out of pocket expense. Joanne assured me he would take great care of me. Well.....fast forward 2 years.....to MY error the financing plan that I signed up for was COMPLETELY NOT what I was told. Sadly, being so happy to leave with my new aides so I could hear again, I rushed and yup....SIGNED the dreaded contract. Now hearing aides that are only worth 4000.00 will now cost me about 8000.00 because of the 28% interest that I will be charged until I pay the amount in full. I am disgusted with myself for trusting an audiologist (if she is one) who seemed to care about her patients. She sent me directly into the lions den. Thanks Joanne Kaplan. I truly hope you can sleep with yourself at night knowing you aide in ripping off the vulnerable. Instead of telling me about how your husband is an EMT and your kids are doing great in school....how about mentioning that if I sign up for this Healthiplan it will cost you your life savings. SHAME ON YOU.

Pandemic protocols are in effect, yet despite masks and social distancing, office visits were comfortable and efficient. I recently had a need for servicing of my hearing aids at my local American Hearing Center in Randolph, NJ. Joanne Kaplan, the manager and her assistant were both very accommodating to my every need. Joanne is a credit to American Hearing. She was very knowledgeable about the product, helpful to me and more importantly exhibited patience in her demeanor. She is a credit to American Hearing and I will certainly recommend American Hearing whenever that need presents itself.

Joanne was terrific!! It had been many years since I’d seen an audiologist, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the experience to be low stress and informative. Not only is Joanne a competent audiologist, but also clearly has the qualities of a natural teacher including: patience, empathy, warmth, and the ability to teach others subject matter in a simple, straightforward way. I would highly recommend going to see Joanne if you are looking for an audiologist, she is a gem!

I was losing my hearing at 53 and was told by doctors that there was nothing that could be done for me since the cause of the hearing loss was inflammation due to my Systemic Lupus. I was devastated at the thought of not being able to hear for the rest of my life. So, I sought another opinion at American Hearing Centers in Randolph. After testing my hearing and examining my ears, they determined that hearing aids would be a benefit to me. When I got my hearing aids, my quality of life was increased tremendously!! I could hear again!! It was like a miracle! I would definitely recommend American Hearing Centers. The staff is always so kind, courteous and professional. Thanks to them, I have my life back!!!
