I dropped off my keys the evening before, they called the next day after the windshield was installed, I picked the car up, paid, and was on my way.I don’t know if I’ve ever had a smoother interaction with anyone before! When it came time to schedule they were quick to respond and had availability in a reasonable amount of time. The service itself took under two hours and I am completely satisfied with the results.

Portland Glass did an excellent job of replacing my cracked windshield on my Honda CR-V. I was recovering from shoulder surgery at the time the work was done and unable to drive, so they came right to my driveway and did the whole job right here. We have been using Portland Glass for decades. They have replaced fogged Windows in our house, commercial entry door at the office, automobile windshields and a huge class A motor home windshield. Their work is the best and the price is fair. They always meet my schedule which is real important. It was a very good experience. They edheared to the covid proticalls. Had a comfortable place to wait and keep me informed of how things were going with replacing the windshield on my car. The glass was so spotless, I hated to drive it and get it dirty.

I was very pleased with the price, products and installation of 8 replacement windows and a door on our sun room and of glass shower door in our master bath. Price was less than half of other window vendors offers, and included a veterans discount. Good communications all the way from requesting site visit for a quote to scheduling the installation. Clarke and Larry did a professional and efficient installation.

Excellent service. Was on vacation and got a chip in my windshield from a large rock, was in and out in no time. Plus the chip they sealed looked much smaller after they finished.

Took over three weeks for a piece of temp glass I was told would be ready in two weeks, finally got it, and not only is it not square its 1/4 wider at the tops than the middle so theres a gap on each side of the storm door pane. Was told I can either keep it, bring it back for a refund, or wait another three weeks so they can do it right. Terrible customer service, after I told the dek person my issue she was very silent on the phone and not willing to offer much help.

We needed to replace a front picture window. Portland Glass came right up, measured the window. A week later they installed the new one. We are very happy with there service.

Had a simple storm window resizing job I dropped off and talked with the technician about. 3 weeks later it was ready . Even though I brought a screen to use as a template for the window modification, the window frame was assembled incorrectly. I found that out when I tried to fit it in the window channel. I had to then make modifications to get it to fit. I had a second window that needed the same resizing so I wrote a detailed note WITH PICTURES about how the frame needed to be assembled (which was the SAME orientation as the screen frame I left as a template). I dropped that off, but the technician was not there. I called and asked to speak with the technician, but he was not there. I asked that the technician call me so I could make sure he read the note. He never called. Later, they called to tell me that it was ready. I went to pick it up - SAME PROBLEM with the frame orientation. Lets review:1) BOTH window modifications took 3 WEEKS EACH to finish from the time I dropped them off2) Even though I left the detailed notes with the receptionist for the 2nd window, AND a screen as a template BOTH TIMES, neither window got assembled correctly3) The technician never read the notes, and never called me back.4) The technician didnt bother to reference the screen template I left - BOTH TIMES.Ill let you figure out if I will ever use Portland Glass again.

I just recently had my windshield replaced on the 7th of November 2016. My wife had to bring it to the appointment due to me working 2nd shift. I looked at the car today the 9th of November 2016 to find my driver side front fender with two dents in it where it looks like someone leaned on with their body and the passenger front fender with scratches all in the clear coat. I called Portland Glass in Raymond Maine and told them about the damage and they denied it and said my car was damaged before it came in. I am very picky when it comes to taking care of my vehicles and wash them every week. There was no damage to the front fenders prior to the appointment. I also talked to the manager and he pretty much told me that there is no way I could prove that the damage was done by them, so I will be contacting the better business bureau and also getting in contact with the owner of Portland Glass. My best advice to others is go to another business to have your glass replaced and also take pictures 360 degrees around your car and inside to make sure this doesnt happen to you.
