As a designer for Summit Homes, I use Northcraft Flooring exclusively for my tile and flooring needs. Jill Koeshall understands my needs for creating homes that showcase the latest trends as well as providing affordable product for all types of homes. The installers are professional and work very hard to deliver the best workmanship and when something is not completed as expected are willing to rework as needed.Northcraft Flooring also recently partnered with Summit Homes and Childrens Mercy Hospital - supplying all of the materials and labor needed to finish a home with all proceeds of the sale going to the Hospital.

Customer service is terrible! We have been waiting for four months with repeated calls to check in on the wait. Our floor quality is terrible. When we moved in there was a huge stain, lots of scratches, subfloor showing through where boards were not snapped together and there are at least three different places where the floor is bubbled and the floor is not even. We keep calling Northcraft asking for a fix and asking for them to honor the satisfaction warranty of their floors and we keep getting told they are waiting for a response.

Jill was exceptional as I tried to pick everything to build a new place for Crestwood Villas. JFE construction sent me here and so glad I had Jill. I can’t wait to see it all together in the new place. Carpet, tile, stone, paint, wood flooring, counter tops, stain for woodwork. She had vision that I didn’t. Her many years of experience was invaluable.

Been to this store before and they measured a room for installation but never called me back to proceed with the installation. Went back again months later and there was no trace of me on their systems whatsoever, went through the process again. From the start the people I dealt with constantly took down the wrong information and not following through on their own process for selling/installing carpet. I had to take it upon myself to check in after giving them the amount of time they said they needed to prepare for each step in the process, they never reached out and let me know whats going on or if anything got delayed. Once I called them and figured out what was going on I scheduled Tuesday as my installation day, no specific time they said. Since I work 3rd shift it would be really nice to be able to actually schedule a time to have the installers come over instead of whenever they pack the van and leave to your address that day.After they actually installed they asked my brother if we had a vacuum to vacuum the carpet, like they werent provided with one? Why do I need to use my own tools and clean my own house after I PAID you to do it, there are white powdery marks all over the bottom of my walls and some in the middle of the wall from the bottom of the carpet as they moved it, there is a new hole in my wall which looks like it got hit from the bottom up when they were using some tool to install the carpet, and once the carpet was installed they took their tools and left, didnt wipe my walls at the very least. Im pretty sure when you pay $700 for one room of carpet the LEAST they can do is clean up after themselves, that is literally part of the process.I went in the store a week later and put in the complaint and sent pictures to the lady and the register, I stayed until she said she sent the email to the stores owner and the person responsible for installing, told me I should expect an email for call soon. Its been 7 entire business days and I havent been reached out to once, thats why Im here writing this review.How do you expect me to pay full price for this? It seems I had to put more work into getting my carpet installed than they did?

Very knowledgeable, helpful staff! Any questions I had were taken care of immediately. They helped me pick out better carpet than I would have on my own. My bathroom tile looks amazing! Beautiful work and was done timely and professionally! Im highly impressed with everyone I worked with here! Will definitely be recommending Northcraft to anyone in need of flooring!

I had a great experience with Northcraft! I went into the showroom with one idea in mind (laminate throughout) and ended up working with their team and came up with a really unique and beautiful tile design for my hallway that matched wonderfully with my new wood laminate through the rest of the house. I couldnt be happier with how the work turned out. Their crew was timely and organized and cleaned up well after themselves. I was left with beautiful new floors that I get many compliments on. I highly recommend them for your next project!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Northcraft Flooring & Design. I went to the Raytown location and the designer assisted me and I ended up going with a pattern carpet on my stairs that I never would have thought of using. That is now my pride and joy and I show it off every time someone new comes to my house. The installers were of highest standard and treated me as if I was their only client and did not leave until everything was to my satisfaction. I will never use any other company for my flooring needs other than Northcraft Flooring & Design. I dont give many reviews and only then if the company far exceeds my expectations which Northcraft did.

Worst tile job Ive seen. They completely butchered my wood work. Missing grout joints and the most horrible caulking job. Looks like a little kid did it. Tile floor is a trip hazard. They shower would have leaked on first use due to the amount of holes in grout and horrible caulking. Its gonna cost me more to repair the damage they did than the job cost. I wont even start on the subpar engineered wood floor. It chips and scratches just looking at it. Its a tongue and groove floor. What baffles me are all the face nailed boards out in the middle of the floor. The floor is delaminated in several places. Steer clear of Northcraft.

If I could give zero stars I would. My review is not in regards to the store itself, or the quality of the products. It’s 100% in the quality of the contractors Northcraft uses to install tile. We built a brand new home and our builder used Northcraft to buy/install all the tile. I’ve never seen such poor tile work in my life. If you are buying a new home and this company is installing ANYTHING... BEWARE!!!!

I recently bought an old house and replaced all of my flooring with Northcraft Flooring & Design. Even with unexpected problems under the existing floor my new floor was completed on time and looks beautiful! My old house looks new again! Great job Northcraft Flooring & Design!

I think it’s amazing how a great business can have nasty human beings working under their prestige. There is new summit homes being build all around my neighborhood and northcraft is there main contractor for floors. Yet they have such low people working and representing their company. Just a few days ago at the beautiful new home was a few installers doing illegal substances. I immediately called police but when they arrived they had already left the location. I was not able to jot down the plates they were not visual. But the Van was a white Mercedes driven by a Hispanic male along with another Hispanic male. I just think it’s absurd how this can happen during daylight hrs and just at the reach of our children.

I had a friend refer me to Northcraft after being very happy with their design services. Northcraft recently opened a store in Lees Summit. After getting a crazy, over the top price from Lowes to put new flooring, cabinets, countertop and backsplash in my kitchen, I stopped in there back in October and met Christy. She was amazing. She puts customers first. I told her my budget and she worked within my budget to show me options that were beautiful and matched my design taste. I told Christy that I wasnt going to start my remodel until after the holidays, and vs. being pushy and giving me the weekly sales pitch, she simply just told me to contact her when I was ready. When it came to my remodel - Christy helped to coordinate a contractor schedule that worked with my timeline. When the work started, Christy called on a regular basis to make sure things were going smoothly. When a problem came up with our wood floors, within 24 hours Christy had new floors being delivered to us. She has been so great to work with, I am even having her make custom rugs for our kitchen. Every new build or remodel will have its problems but its nice when you can call a knowledgeable expert to help work through your issues.

Horrible customer service and warranty work. Northcraft has been to our house to fix issues they created numerous times now. They still cant seem to get things right. Poor management, non-skilled labor and an overall horrible experience.

Do not use this company!! Stay away summit homes contracts this company and our tileflooring came out all wavy and theyve missed 2 appointments so far to come fix it, showed up on another day in announced. Shoddy work and no accountability
