I had my kitchen countertops resurfaced and my backspash tiles replaced. The price was very reasonable as was the quality of the work. I knew I didnt want to spend a lot on upgrading my kitchen with granite countertops, and this was the perfect fit for me. The management and customer service are first class. Ive never worked with finer people.

I am very happy with the outcome out of my epoxy countertops. I had Best Refinishers resurface my tile surrounds and tubs prior and they did an amazing job. Our tile and tub were done by other company prior to purchasing our home. My experience working with this company has been very satisfying. The technician was very thorough and professional. Covered all floors and walls to ensure our new paint and floors were not damaged. Communication was great from the sales rep Carol to the owner Malcolm. They answered all my questions and even after all was done they quickly responded to small concerns.My countertops are beautiful, and we couldn’t be more happy with the entire process. No more nasty looking countertops. The finish look of the epoxy is amazing. My husband and I are like little kids in a candy store can’t keep our hands off it. We have a 5 year warranty so that’s extremely comforting to know they stand behind their product.Definitely plan to use them on our basement floor project. We highly recommend this company!

Best Refinishers reglazed my tub and tile from a very old scoured tub with old pale yellow tile to a beautiful white shiny tub and surrounding tile. Very professional staff. The tech Dennis who did the job was amazing. I had to have broken tile replaced around the vanity sink area and he made everything look seamless and new again. Everyone on staff was very friendly and responded to me in a timely manor.

I had my bathtub and surround tile re-glazed. It looked pretty good but the worker who did the work, missed several spots due to a poor tape job and got some over spray on the dry side of my bathroom. Not a huge deal to me but I did want it fixed. I called, set-up an appointment and no one ever showed up. I have called several times since and left a few voice-mails. After the last call it said the voice-mail box was full.Update. The company did try to contact me to correct some of the issues but it is a little too late. I corrected all the issues myself due to the previous lack of communication. I will up my review by one star for the apology.

Amazing!! 1 day and done I would HIGHLY recommend taking a few minutes to look at this option before redoing your bath this is both money and time saving option

Dennis was great and professional. He was on time and cleaned up after it was all done. The tub and shower surround looks like new. We are even going to update all the fixtures and plates to new. I will be scheduling my next job with them for our standup shower.

All the folks in the crew were friendly, organized, courteous, knew what they were doing, cleaned up behind themselves. Pricing was fair, they managed to get the work done with in my time frame. I recommend them and will use them again when the time comes.

Dennis was on time and did a great job. He cleaned up very well afterwards . BUT the best part was he was singing just about the whole time he was working!! Pretty clear he enjoys his job. (did I mention the tub looks better than new? )

This was the worst company I’ve ever hired!The installer broke my window screen and blinds. Got product all over the bathroom. Contacted company twice, said they were going to come out and make it right and both times were a no show without even a notification!! Did not inform me of the follow up work “I”would need to do afterwards! I feel being a single woman I was taken advantage of! I like the new finish on the tub but it sure came costly to me to fix all that was damaged!

My parents counter tops after coming out for a third time to finish, still were not done. The third time they came out to add a gloss but when I came over after they were completely dry, I noticed that the sides to the counter tops and the island counter top were still a matte finish. My folks were so frustrated with the whole process. From getting the refrigerator scratched, some of the floor messed up and a piece of their wood cabinet messed up. I took pictures of everything. It was a complete rush job. I was looking forward to one day getting my counter tops resurfaced but now that I saw the quality of work firsthand from this company I will definitely go with some one else.

I hired them to refinish my sink and started calling after I noticed the peeling months ago. I get nothing but promises of the owner calling me back! Even today I called them and still nothing! Just received your answer and Im talking about the peeling not the chips which you told me as a courtesy you would fix. If youre not good for your word then dont offer services. Recently bought my first forever home and my tubs and sinks were not in the best shape luckily When I searched for a refinishing company I found BKC, they were very polite and professional.The quality of my tubs and sinks are phenomenal I couldn’t believe the turn around on it all . Highly thankful for them coming and doing the work. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

Having had Miracle Method do some reglazing for me on a couple properties over the last few years I was planning on using them for this project. They were unfortunately unable for the time line I needed so google led me to Best Refinishers. I should have just waited... there was multiple delays and the end result was really bad. There are several runs on the tile where it looks like it was over sprayed. I had them epoxy the floor and there are several bubbles that are very visible. I was very clear with my time line and was assured it could be met. I could have had Miracle Method do the job and get it done earlier than when they finally finished. I would look elsewhere.

3 things I didnt know: 1= total time to resurface my tub was approx 5.5 hours from start to finish. 2 = weird smells from chemicals so make sure you have decent ventilation if you arent expecting that. 3= the resurfacing process needs time to dry. (Less than 24 hours) so you need to re install the drain which makes sense. Dennis was on time and uber focused. He answered all my questions and was very low maintenance as far as checking on his progress or needs. He completed 15 minutes early and his results exceeded all expectations. My original tub in my house built in 1906 looks 2020 new--clean and functional. Thank you Dennis and Best Kansas City Refinishers. Great value and great customer experience from scheduling to completion.

I wanted to update my bathroom tile and tub. I had not remodeled my bathroom for years because of cost. A friend of mine used this company to refinish her bathroom and she was in love. I am extremely happy about the results my whole bathroom looks completely new and remodeled. The color is sparkling white. They were very professional the tech was very neat and did such a great job they were very professional.

Recently hired this company to do our bathtub. Did not know about this company until a friend recommended. I was very pleased with how the tub turned out it was really old was the original tub in our home and looks like new. Everyone was great the guy who came to our home to do the tub was very professional. Would highly recommend and price was very reasonable.

This is in response to the earlier post regarding the service that was provided at our residence. We had had Best KC Refinishing to come our home and refinish our counter tops. We were told it would be a one day service. That was not the truth it turned into what amounted to 7 days. They done the counter tops and there were lines of demarcation on the counter tops. It was clear that they were not even.I do not wish to go over everything that was wrong because there was plenty. The screw and bolts from the kitchen sink after it was replaced, were found underneath the kitchen table. There was a piece of the parquet floor that was displaced and fixed. The refrigerator was scratched with the product they were using. It was fixed. But the fact that you use steel wool on that finish to try and remove your product.I understand that management said they tried to reach out to me. I have a home phone and a cell phone. I have e-mail and voicemail on both devices. No one has tried to reach out to me. This is misinformation, I understand you have to say that for your future potential customers. By the time they were done it had been such an emotional roller coaster that I just needed to complete the other task at hand. I needed them out of my house.Let me just say that old saying that you pay for what you get is true. So for the future, note to self. I will say that I would not use this service again. It makes me wonder if I lived in Johnson County would I have received this kind of service. After all they keep leaving and going to Johnson County to Lenexa, Prairie Villiage and Leawood to finish up parts of the job and returning to complete mine. Were we even a priority?

It was easy to make an appointment. The service person showed up on time, and did the job well. This job was done about 6 months ago on a rental property. Not sure how the product will hold up... time will tell.

Wonderful job of refinishing our severely damaged 100 year old porcelain tub. Looks so clean and as if it were new!

They did a great job of communicating & refinishing the bathtub.

Price was lower than Miracle Method. The shower floor wasnt completely painted and I followed up for a touch up and no response. Bathtub started peeling after less than 6 months. Tape was left on shower light, very difficult to remove. House was vacant with a lockbox and a paint sprayer was missing later that day--cannot prove the gentleman who worked for the company was responsible but my concern was immediately dismissed as the worker said he did not steal it.

Contacted them for a quote to redo my kitchen. Professional and very respectful of the time commitment I needed. The work was done fast, honest, and turned out much better than I thought. I greatly appreciate having my countertop being displayed in their advertisement as am I thoroughly pleased with the results!

I was selling my home and I needed to update my counter top. I was originally going to replace the counter top with a new one until I learned about counter top refinishing. They were extremely professional from the time they came and did the estimate through the entire process. I was truly amazed with how new the counter top looked and the money I saved on refinishing instead of replacing the counter top was quite astonishing. They were fast, clean, and so precise, I would highly recommend them again.

First I will say the finished product looks great. However with that said my experience was that the company or its worker have no pride in there work. This service was on a rental property. I was told by the person who scheduled my appointment that I didnt need to stick around and that they would do the work, shut everything off and lock everything up when they left. They called when they finished and when I showed up they had spilled a substantial amount of product on my driveway along with a handful of razor blades, the front door was completely unlocked, when I walked in a substantial amount of lights were left on in the house including areas of they house they should not even have been in, They removed the storm window and screen for there ventilation system and let the window completely open with putting the screen & storm window back, found another handful of razor blades on the bathroom floor, they used masking tape on my recently painted walls and when I removed the tape it ripped the paint off. When I called to let them know this had happened they offered to give me a discount on future services as I am a real estate investor...…..Why would they think I would use them again?

My wife and I were selling one of our rental properties but didnt want to invest a lot of money to install new counter tops. We called these guys and they were able to research our countertops and save us some money. There schedule was very flexible for us, which what we were needing because we no longer live in Kansas City Area, and we definitely appreciate them saving us some money.

I hired them to refinish my kitchen countertops. There were a few flaws in the finish after he was done the fist day but I emailed them and they sent the guy(Jesse) back out the next morning and he fixed them. They look amazing. Im very happy with the results. 4 stars only because he had to come back a second day. Very satisfied with their customer service in being quick to respond back to me. Thank you!

The representative they sent to provide a quote was great, and I immediately hired them to refinish my countertops. The day they were scheduled to arrive, I was told they may be there as early as 7:00 a.m., since I told them I needed to leave by 3:00 that day. After waiting almost two hours for someone to show, I finally got a call at 8:45 and was told they would be there soon. They finally showed up around 10:00. The gentleman they sent to complete the work was friendly and professional. After preparing the area, he sprayed the primer and then left, telling me he would return to spray the backsplash. He did, but it was quite a while before he returned, and I felt the job was rushed, because I had to leave at 3:00 (which I told them several times when I booked the job, and when they arrived to do the job). The next day they didn’t arrive until close to 9:00. The worker sprayed and said he would be back later to spray the final coat. I waited for hours, and someone finally came back at 2:30 and told me it wasn’t dry enough to finish and they would be back the next day. They left all their equipment spread all over the kitchen. The next day the worker again didn’t arrive until after 9:00. It was a different worker, and he was friendly and professional. They did complete the work and reinstalled my sink, which I paid an additional $100 for them to take out and put back in. They left a mess on my floor, which they made no attempt to clean. When I went to return the stuff under my sink, there was a leak in it, with a big puddle of water accumulated. I mopped it, put a bucket under it and called the company. I had to leave a message and never received a return call. The finished product looks good, but it is gritty. It does not feel like the sample I was shown when I booked the job, and the appearance at an angle has dips in the surface. Overall I would rate the sales rep as excellent, although I’m not sure the product is the quality promised. I would rate the workers as friendly, and they did protect my cabinets and the remainder of the kitchen from being damaged during the process. The mess on the floor didn’t pose a problem, since the floors are being refinished next week, but they could have attempted to clean it. The promptness of completing the work left a little to be desired, as they took three days to complete the project, when I was told it would take two days. Communication was horrid, as they arrived late and I was never given specific times when they would return, as they left for the product to dry before they could complete the next step. The finished product was not what I expected, as it is gritty to the touch. Also, I have a leak under my sink and no one is returning my call. I was stuck at home for two whole days, without knowing when the would arrive and when they would return, then had to be home a third morning, for which I hadn’t planned. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this company. Hopefully they will make it right eventually. In that event I will post a more positive review.

Im more than happy with the service provided. I love my WHITE tub now. My experience with Best KC was great. I had committed to a different company, who will remain unnamed, because I am leaving them a horrible review. After three no call no shows I called Best KC. They were booked out but managed to get me on schedule, and I am happy! I highly recommend this company. I had my tub and countertops completed, and paid 1400. Had a contractor quote me to replace my tub and countertops at 5,900. Decided to just refinish and replace my tile. Huge savings, and a great product. I have teenagers and no matter how many times I ask them to stay out the kitchen, it doesnt happen. My new countertops are still in great shape.

When we were about to sell our house in Blue Springs we had a lot of minor work that needed to be done but our kitchen was dated. We needed someone to come out last minute to help us with a solution for our laminate countertops. Kansas City Refinishing came out that same day gave us a quote and within days refinished our countertop. I recommend them especially if youre selling your home looking for a cost effective solution.

We had our bathtub regalzed this company and they never returned the next day to finish the job and we had to hire someone else to fix their work! The gentleman that came out for the quote was very nice and professional and the kid they sent out to scrape the old tub was very nice and did hard work. Everyone else, terrible. I called and called and called because the new reglaze they had just out down was already chipped and they kept saying they would send someone and after three and half weeks they just stopped returning my phone calls, kept our deposit and the tub was never redone or sealed. Very poor customer service, would not recommend.Their prices are competitive, but now I know why. I’d rather pay more.

We used this company to get our bathtub reglazed. The first time they did it, it started chipping in a few weeks. Also the employee damaged our base boards while he did it. The second time they came out to fix the first problem, they did a terrible job and now our tub is even worse than it was when we first had them come out! They do not return phone calls and when they say they will come back to fix it and make it right they don’t!

Buyer beware! I chose this company after reading the 5 star reviews. i also planned our bath remodel around this tub being done first. they didn’t seal my tub the first time around and it started flaking and peeling instantly! they came to repair the tub after me submitting two claims with no answer back after 4 days (almost 8 weeks after they originally sprayed the tub). after terrible communication from tamra the receptionist and workers randomly showing up at my house without me knowing, they finally came to finish the project. after they finished, we noticed our new floors were scratched up and now they need replaced and paint is missing from our vanity and walls that we just painted! horrible experience, i even had to reach back out again just to get my measly refund of $55 for the damaged floors. Now we still have to re-do floors and re-touch paint.
