There were mouse droppings everywhere, would say the access to unit was ok but when we got ready to leave the gate wouldnt open so my son had to climb the fence.,for the space its expensive.

Not the fanciest facility. However, Ryon makes the rental space more attractive with his pleasant personality and professionalism. Ive had 3 very courtesy and professional interactions with him. Quality customer service is HUGE for me!!!!

First storage unit I’ve ever had and I’m glad I went with them! It’s clean, the gentleman were polite and helpful, and the price is affordable!

The man working was very nice. He showed me the unit before paying for it. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. The only reason not 5 star is because I paid $29 for 3 days and come 4th day $60 due plus online it says $50 which the price is why I choose this place and its $60 once I get there. But only need 10 notice ur vacating premises. The customer service is worth the extra money.

While looking for storage, I called in to see if I could tour the place, Arthur was great at showing me around and explaining the different rates.

Renting online was super convenient. Its great that the office has weekend hours.

Had a good outdoor spot for our travel trailer.

Went in with my son on Saturday and Arthur was super nice we got a unit and we are happy with the choice we made.

Ryon is ALWAYS professional, courteous, patient...& kind. I almost did not choose Simply Storage for my rental option. Ryon went above and beyond to explain ALL the details of the rental. Ryon help ease my fears of any surprise charges. Ryon is ALWAYS on duty, ALWAYS standing by...& ALWAYS willing to help in any way possible.

They are a little pricy. Almost all storages have locking gates and people on site

Moving back from Georgia with my family, this place was quick to respond and have a unit ready waiting for me when I arrived in Kansas City.

I needed to allow a stranger to pick up the last large piece of furniture in my unit. I spoke with Consuelo regarding logistics for this transaction given the pandemic issues. She was very accommodating and made additional suggestions to ensure safety and social distancing. She called me once the furniture was removed and processed the close-out of my unit. This transaction went better than I could have expected thanks to Consuelo!

I reserved the unit online and within minutes of submitting my request, Melissa, the property manager called following up to see if I had any questions. Once at the facility, the process was quite painless. Melissa was very informative covering all aspects and provided the best customer service with a smile despite being outside on a chilly windy day showing me the unit. She even taped a lollipop to my paperwork, which I found to be a thoughtful and cute gesture. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of storage.

The storage buildings are up on a mound. (Which is understandable, so water doesnt collect and puddle) but the slopes are very steep and when trying to move in the wintertime...well I would just say I wouldnt advise it! Especially if you like your bottom half all intact.

Couldnt make it out here to pay my bill for a while but every call that I got from Melissa was always courteous and positive never harassing or rude I always felt like she had more concern for making sure that we were happy here. When I did make it in she notified me that some of the units had been water damaged and of course mine was one of the affected units she promptly gave me all of the relevant insurance information and let me know how to proceed. Its nice to feel that we have someone on our side who actually cares and sees people as more than just customers. Move in was easy. Carrie was great she showed me the unit of interest and allowed me to make sure it worked for me. The prices are great. The units are safe and secure and allow for easy access to movers.

I originally thought I needed a small unit. After telling Carrie how much stuff I had she suggested a 10x10. I was doubting that I needed that much space. Well she was right. The 10x10 is packed to the brim. I would have been in a bad spot if she hadn’t suggested the bigger unit.Thanks for great customer service.

I recently had 2 trailers stolen a week apart. First one was part of a massive break in and thefts. Second one was because the electric gate was burnt up. Management did nothing to secure the gate and did not notify tenants. There were 13 police reports for that nite at this location. I have called corporate to get some answers but they haven’t returned my call

Customer service is all around spot on, and while Melissa is really nice, I got sold to this facility by a different gal who is very very personable. I dont think shes with the facility anymore, unfortunately. Thankfully my unit has always been dry, despite its low altitude in the scope of the storage lot. I didnt know that flooding could even be an issue, so Im glad I decided to take the time to read some other reviews!I definitely have found cheaper storage facilities, but I was in a hurry to get my things quickly moved from a different storage facility that was trying to rip me off. I didnt feel that I received that type of treatment here, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality over quantity.

What a joke. I would leave no star rating, if that was an option. If you want the staff to leave your possessions available for anyone and everyone to take... this is ur place. We rarely remembered to pay this bill without a reminder call as we no longer live in raytown BUT it always got paid every month. [with a late fee] This month I received an email saying we were locked out until we paid with FIRST ATTEMPT in the subject line, so we cleared everything out. Was that a necessary email? You made extra with the late fee, after all. I notice a fair amount of people writing these glowing reviews have ONLY written that one single review in their history. Me thinkith our friends here are needing extra praise.

Right off0 350hwy in Raytown, they offer low rates and secure storage units. Just wish theyd fix the axle-busting potholes at the front gate. They are treacherous
