The Westchester store was full up and I needed an oil change. I called for an appointment. I was given to a service receptionist who refused to schedule an appointment for me without the vehicle identification number. When you are trying to win customers over you need to get them in the door first. What is convenient for me as the customer should be what a service manager strives to deliver. When I am going to check off a large number of things on my To-do list and I am making calls, I do not have time for the nonsense of going to my car to find it’s VIN. Piazza has lost a customer to the boneheaded practice of trying to data mine Before I am ever in the door. No one needs to reply here to offer the nonsense excuse that they have to have the VIN to know what kind of oil or filter I have. They know that if I’m coming to a Mazda dealer it is one of a few filters and it is one of two or three grades of oil, All of which they have in stock. This policy is nothing more than a money grab to see if the car that is coming into them might have some warranty work recall issues that they can capitalize on. If the short sighted bean counters in accounting could be kicked out the door and the service people allowed to do their job, then there would be no need for a review like this.
I went in to get the state inspection done and ended up wasting 3 hours waiting for the inspection to be done and in the end I was told that I needed to pay almost $2000 to get different areas fixed in order to pass the exam. Which by the way, we had gotten the vehicle checked and maintenance on September and it was perfectly fine. Instead of looking for other solutions or being realistic and honest regarding the issues in the car, the supervisor said they were going to fail it unless we paid it. I decided to not get the vehicle fixed and I still ended up paying for the service costing $74. Very disappointed and will not come back.
Picked my new Mazda CX-5 up after an oil change, tire rotation and cabin filter replacement. Got up the 61 a little and my car would not run?? It totally shut down! Supposedly, it was a loose ground wire. Never had a issue at at all until they serviced my car. Steve the Service Manager, never apologized or called me the next day to update me on the status of my vehicle, I had to call him. Like it wasn’t an inconvenience at all to break down on 61 during rush hour traffic?!?? I went to pick my car up he wouldn’t even look at me. Obviously, it was their fault!! Nope, never going here again!!

Steve is the greatest!! My husband and I were driving from Harrisburg this morning and our Mazda CX 9 was making a noise. We drove 30 minutes out of our way to see what the problem was. Steve came out right away and drove with my husband to listen for the sound. He thought it was something with the all wheel drive and would take days to repair. My husband started looking at used cars to buy! LOL - a few minutes later Steve walks out and hands us our car keys and said we were good to go! It was the lug nuts that were loose on the wheel. We were so relieved!! Thank you Steve!!! So much!!

If you dont want to take the time to read it all, my conclusion is that Id absolutely recommend Piazza Mazda of Reading to anyone interested in purchasing a Mazda, even if youre not from the area. I enjoyed doing business with them so much, Id make another out-of-state, 2 1/2 hour drive to them for my next car purchase.***FULL REVIEW***Being a New Jersey resident, I initially began the process of purchasing my 2017 Mazda 3 GT Hatchback at a local New Jersey-based Mazda dealership. After receiving extremely poor service from them over the course of a week while they tried to locate the car I wanted, which they ultimately failed to do so and then lied to me about the reasons why, I decided to pull my $500 deposit and look elsewhere.I searched on Mazdas official website for the exact car, color, and trim level I wanted, and the closest dealership with an exact match was Piazza Mazda of Reading. I called them immediately, and spoke with Kristen Fink. I explained my situation to Kristen and told her that if they had the car on the lot and we could agree on a fair price, I would make the 2 1/2 hour drive out to Pennsylvania to buy it the following day. Kristen understood and got straight to the point with me.To give perspective on how efficiently Kristen worked, let me just say that my outgoing phone call was at 1:44 PM. By 2:58 PM, Kristen had: 1) confirmed the car was on the lot, 2) negotiated a reasonable price with me, 3) obtained my trade-in info and gave me a ballpark value, 4) obtained my personal info, 5) ran my credit request, 6) confirmed my interest rate and payment amount with me, and 7) made an appointment with me for 10:00 AM the next day. Kristen did more in that hour or so than my local NJ dealership did in a week.The following day, my girlfriend and I arrived at the dealership around 10:00 AM to see the Mazda 3 I intended to purchase was freshly detailed and waiting for me in front of the dealership building, just as Kristen had promised. Kristen promptly greeted us upon entering the building, and we got right down to business. There were no tricks or reneging on anything we discussed over the phone. The sales price was as agreed. The zero percent interest rate was as agreed. I got the exact amount I wanted for my trade-in on my first request; there was no annoying back-and-forth haggling. We were in and out as quickly as possible with no wasted time.Overall, I am extremely impressed and pleased with Piazza Mazda of Reading. Every person I dealt with that day --- the trade-in manager, the finance manager, Kristen --- was honest, straightforward, and professional. Its how car-buying should be everywhere, but sadly isnt. That makes Piazza Mazda of Reading very special, in my opinion.PS - This dealership apparently changed ownership back around August 2016, so if you see negative reviews, check the date of the review. I was taken in time for my appointment, the services that would be performed were explained and a loaner vehicle was provided (this is a big plus as opposed to waiting or asking for a ride). My vehicle was serviced promptly and a video of what was occuring was provided real-time. I enjoyed the text message letting me know when my vehicle was ready for pickup. Upon return all of the touch surfaces had been covered with plastic for CV19 which was appreciated.
Had to take car in for scheduled check-up as well as two recalls. Clear communication, including pictures, occurred during the process. Nothing was done until I gave the go ahead.

I ended up at Piazza Mazda due to a friends recommendation. Needless to say, we were so impressed with atmosphere, kindness, and dedication of their workers. We drove away with a car. We are on our third Mazda and we are happy to say that we will continue to support them and be loyal customers. How you treat people goes a long way and Piazza Mazda doesnt fail in that.

The entire staff at Piazza Mazda were extremely friendly and easy to work with. Even though I called from 500 miles away to ask about a car they had it stock, Bob took me as seriously as if I were standing on the lot with cash in hand. He answered all my questions and described the condition of the vehicle in great detail. Faith worked very hard getting the out-of-state paperwork sorted out over the phone, and did a great job dealing with my local credit union. While at the dealership I spoke with the general manager and various other employees, all of whom were very friendly. The vehicle was as described and well worth the 1000 mile drive. I highly recommend this dealership.
I had an amazing experience buying a car here with Andres. He was easy to talk to with a welcoming personality. While we wait on financing Andres and the general manager cleaned the car again, filled up the tank, and had service look it over again. Jobin the finance guy offered a loan with a lower interest rate than the one I already had and went over all the terms and additional services clearly.Cannot recommend Andres and the staff if the dealership enough.
Please do not go here if you wish to have a nice car buying experience. I was interested in a car that had to be imported and was told it would be there within the week, and about a month later it finally came in. I went in JUST to look at it and said that many times. I was going to finance throughy bank and asked for the total price of the car so i could give the bank that number.The salesman kept trying to work numbers with me and I broke down and gave them a credit check. Directly after that I said I needed to leave and that this wasnt the right time, and the financial manager got extremely rude with me. He claimed he had pulled many favors for me to be approved and that my bank gave them the hardest time, even though he had been on the phone for only around 5-10 minutes. They kept hounding me and asking me why I was having second thoughts and being very hostile towards me and acting like I was an inconvenience to them. So I took my business elsewhere. And my bank approved me with a great rate. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE or TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE to be serviced. I have just experienced terrible customer service from this dealership and service department. I purchased a BRAND NEW CX-5 8/30/2019 from Cris Lund. On Thursday morning my car was not running properly and the check engine light came on. Now remember this is a new vehicle with 22,000 miles on it, and well maintained and taken care of. I reached out to the service department to make an appt. I drove an hour to drop off my vehicle and pick up a loaner. Friday morning I receive a video that a Accuator part was faulty and they needed to order the part and replace. Rough 20 minutes later I receive a text message blaming the shop who serviced my vehicle for “putting too much oil” in the car and they would not cover the warranty and it would cost $1997. COMPLETELY FALSE and UNACCEPTABLE. I went to the shop I’ve been going to for 21 years that changed the oil to have them call Piazza. After a lot of back and forth and Piazza being unable to answer objections they charged me $250 to just diagnose the faulty part, never put the engine mount back together, as a matter of fact they just threw the parts in the trunk of the vehicle. On top of that the service rep was cocky and rude. I would love to know what their thoughts would be if it were them to purchase a brand new vehicle and have the warranty denied of total bs. Typical slimeball dealership. To close my car will now be towed and fixed elsewhere with a large chunk of money coming out of my pocket, due to no fault of my own. Lies on top of putrid customer service. I will do everything in my power to make sure anyone I come across shopping for a vehicle does not visit this dealership.

I am enjoying my vehicle and the sales representative (Kaitlyn) was very pleasant. She was super responsive throughout the entire process and made coordinating virtually a breeze.However, I was disappointed in the customer service I received from the finance department. There was a lack of discretion in discussing my finances since questions were asked from an office while I was sitting at a desk in the showroom. I also found myself being interrupted several times when asking to review details of my purchase. I was also questioned about “who I split my rent with?,” as if I couldn’t possibly pay the amount that was entered on my finance application. Hope this feedback can help improve future experiences for your customers.

SHADY & LYING. I brought my car in to get looked at due to a rattling noise. Apparently the bushing was rotted so they suggested to replace the whole control arm for $650 w/alignment & diagnosis. That was ridiculous so I replaced the bushing myself. It didnt fix the issue!! Plus the bushing looked okay beforehand. So I took it to another mechanic...something was just loose...Literally what the dealership replaced in Nov19, that was what was loose. Cost $40 to fix. Screw Piazza Mazda.

My wife bought her car here 3 years ago and has been coming for inspections since. She brought her car to be inspected the other day for what seemed to be pretty routine. Well we received a text stating that it would be 1466 with everything. Now the only thing that said needed to be replaced to pass inspection was the RF strut, both recommend both and alignment. The price they came back with was obnoxious considering you can pick both struts for around 200 at advance or auto zone. The next reach was they recommend 60 full vehicle maint which included a cabin air filter, batt check etc etc. Which was over 300. Last year her car was at 59k if I remember and her car is now around 62k and no mention of this 60k maintenance. Overall during this pandemic I get it everyone needs money but it really bothered us that we felt like they were reaching for every little thing and over charging.
Updated: I got my first servicing here (since it included a free oil change), and while they inspected my car and got the registration, etc. they even washed my car. They have a lot of different cars, multiple models and levels of each (as opposed to others who only have 1 of each trim). They also arent pushy. Seemed down-to-earth, and helpful. Ive been going all over to different dealers (DAmbrosio Dodge, Reading Mercedes, West Chester Infiniti, a couple Ford dealers, Exton Nissan, you name it, Ive probably been there), and the service elsewhere was sleezier. It didnt influence my decision to buy, but Piazza Mazda seemed like regular folks, which made the whole transaction a lot more enjoyable.They also had, hands-down, the best price for value, but thats a bit more subjective person-to-person.

Unfortunately after several years of service at Piazza Mazda of Reading, I’ve had enough of the questionable and borderline fraudulent business tactics within the service department. Historically between the last business owner and the current owner (Piazza), I have purchased my last three vehicles and have had over 12 years of experience dealing with this facility. After my most recent purchase in 2018, of a new Mazda CX-5 I expressed my frustration to the general manager Robert Douglas regarding the service department. Long story short, involves replacing cabin filters and engine filters, and then suggesting a needed replacement within 30 days after that service was performed. I could not trust, what the service department told me. To Mr. Douglass’s credit, those service members were changed.Unfortunately, shady business practices continue to manifest. When I took my car in for an inspection in April 2020, they suggested several things be changed including battery ($25), power steering fluid flush ($130), brake fluid, cooling service ($150), and spark plugs ($370). This information was presented in a video by technician Cody, and then in paper by the service manager Steve. There actually used the words “failed”, “dirty sediment”, and “needs serviced soon”. I declined all services except state inspection and battery, as well as declining filter checks because I was not working due to COVID. Flash forward September 2020, I took my car into service for another unrelated item, and asked if his prior services could be performed, but they told me the services were no longer required. I questioned why ??? as prior video evidence, personal conversation, and a paper as to why these services were needed, but now these items magically fixed themselves, and service manage Steve told me all the services where performed just 12 months sooner. Further I questioned, so why was I given a video, in person conversation, and a paper, that said otherwise… I basically got a shoulder shrug from Steve Santin, and then later from Robert Douglass, who redirected me back to service manager Steve.Frustrated, I went to the Piazza auto group, and voiced my concerns to a Dave Rogers. Who basically said the “Silver lining is you didn’t have the services performed’. Wrong, the only reason I didn’t have the services performed, was because I wasn’t working at the time and was concerned for money. Dave said he would investigate, and get back to me in few days, that was 14 days ago.I’m done with Piazza auto group and Piazza Mazda. I will take my two cars elsewhere, and my next car purchase, in the next year, I will not purchase from your facilities.General warning - If you use the service department, keep accurate records, and do not trust what they say about cabin filters, engine filters, tire wear, battery charge, coolant or other fluid flushes, because either its staged or not being performed and that’s why the services keep needing to be required after a month or year. Video, Verbal, and paper records reveal the poor service department

Terrible dealership. Sales manager doesnt return phone calls. Service managers change all of the time . Salesmen that you build a relationship with are let go . Dont trust this dealership.
The service team at Piazza Mazda was very accommodating. After purchasing my car at another dealership, I took it to Piazza after the check engine light came on. Not only did they fix the problem the other dealership caused, but they educated me on what happened. Really nice service.

BBB needs to shut this place down. They sell defective cars, lie about vehicle recalls, and refuse to do service requested. Nothing honest or good about this place. Avoid at all costs. Managers are disrespectful, and ownership refuses to respond to efforts to reach them.
I couldnt give it zero stars because it doesnt allow me to. I had a terrible experience with the service department of Mazda. I took my car in for a inspection on a Tuesday. Later in the day recieve a text with 650$ worth of things that need done for a 2015 CX5. Make sure to give a quick look over your car before you take it. To name a few. One was to replace air filter for 55$ when it was changed a few months ago. Another was 25$ for a tail light when its a 2$ part. And 280$ for a belt tensioner that cost 50$ and my belt doesnt even make a sound. So I said no to all but had to have them replace a tire and light to pass inspection. The tire which is only a couple months old had a plug in it which they said it was to close to sidewall so they ordered a new one. Told me car would be done Wednesday. Wednesday comes and get a text saying couldnt get tire would be done Thursday. So we wait, they never offer a loaner or anything. Thursday comes and I hear nothing all day so I call at 5pm and ask if I can pick up my car. They told me it didnt make it on truck so it will be done Friday. Still no mention of helping out with loaner or anything and its my wifes car with our sons car seat in it. Friday comes and they tell me pick up by 6pm. Ok I was gonna work OT til 5 and pick it up. Couple hours later recieve a text saying needs to be picked up by 5pm. So now I gotta lose money to go pick it up. Get there and they dont offer nothing for my troubles and or me losing money for having to pick it up. Very poor customer service. Plus I got tire back they replaced and sent pictures to other mechanics and they told me that it wouldve passed inspection.Update. They now have agreed to do a future oil change on them for my troubles.Much appreciated and appreciate the quick response.

Updated--They now have agreed to do a future oil change on them for my troubles. I appreciate the quick response.I couldnt give it zero stars because it doesnt allow me to. I had a terrible experience with the service department of Mazda. I took my car in for a inspection on a Tuesday. Later in the day recieve a text with 650$ worth of things that need done for a 2015 CX5. Make sure to give a quick look over your car before you take it. To name a few. One was to replace air filter for 55$ when it was changed a few months ago. Another was 25$ for a tail light when its a 2$ part. And 280$ for a belt tensioner that cost 50$ and my belt doesnt even make a sound. So I said no to all but had to have them replace a tire and light to pass inspection. The tire which is only a couple months old had a plug in it which they said it was to close to sidewall so they ordered a new one. Told me car would be done Wednesday. Wednesday comes and get a text saying couldnt get tire would be done Thursday. So we wait, they never offer a loaner or anything. Thursday comes and I hear nothing all day so I call at 5pm and ask if I can pick up my car. They told me it didnt make it on truck so it will be done Friday. Still no mention of helping out with loaner or anything and its my wifes car with our sons car seat in it. Friday comes and they tell me pick up by 6pm. Ok I was gonna work OT til 5 and pick it up. Couple hours later recieve a text saying needs to be picked up by 5pm. So now I gotta lose money to go pick it up. Get there and they dont offer nothing for my troubles and or me losing money for having to pick it up. Very poor customer service. Plus I got tire back they replaced and sent pictures to other mechanics and they told me that it wouldve passed inspection.

I started out well with Piazza Mazda enjoying our salesman. Unfortunately it has been all downhill since then. At my complimentary first service and oil change I waited two hours. Apparently there was an issue with the oil machine but no one even bothered to update me while I was sitting in the waiting area or offer to reschedule. Then, I contacted the service department about replacing a windshield with a crack. I called the service manager three times in a week leaving messages and never heard back. I love my Mazda CX-5 but will never again go back to this dealership!
It was so convenient to set up a time and have them pick up my car take it back to the shop to the inspection and return it, no so that I did not have to leave the house. Thanks for going above and beyond to service your customers.

We originally only came in to checkout and test drive the 2019 Mazda CX-5 as my Honda lease was soon expiring. Honestly had no intentions of purchasing at that time, but with the great financing incentives and the offer we received, we ended up moving forward with the purchase. We have had less than ideal experiences with other dealerships in the past, but found the overall experience here very refreshing. We drove 2 hours to pick up a slightly used 2018 Mazda CX5. We arrived at 7:30pm and the salesman Andres Castro had the car already sitting outside so we can literally hop in and go for a drive. We enjoyed the car and notice a few minor items wrong with the car and their team was able to help us. He was polite and informative. The team stayed late which we appreciated because we did purchase the car and absolutely love it. If you are thinking about buying a Mazda please hit up Andres. He is the man.

In less than 24 hours I researched 2 used 2013/2015 Mazda CX-5s from Piazza Mazda Reading, test drove them, and drove away with one purchased. I was in need of a care asap and I am so thankful and happy I came to Piazza Mazda. Their service is so incredibly fast and efficient and they truly are there to help you in every way possible. All of the staff is so nice and they really explain the ins and outs of the cars in detail. I give them a 5/5 and would go back any day!

Dont drive by too fast or you will miss this gem. The team at Piazza Mazda was awesome! We have been using their service department since we moved and have only been treated like family, even when the kids run in circles. With my wife wanting to upgrade and have AWD so she spoke with Kristen our sales associate during a scheduled service. Kristen spent the time needed to understand our needs and wants. She also provided us the best available promotions and knowing our ask to stay within our budget she put in the work. When all was said and done, this was the most relaxed, non pressured, friendly and professional car purchase ever. Even when all the paperwork was done we felt great, and we still do. If you want a Mazda, go out of your way and go see Piazza Mazda as they will take great care of you and your family. Michael was terrific to work with. He worked with me to find the vehicle I was looking for. It took a few weeks to acquire the vehicle that had the interior color that I wanted with the white exterior and a 2.5. Michael kept me informed and actually texted a picture of the vehicle when it arrived on the truck at the dealership. The finance dept was terrific as well. Quick and painless which is what I prefer. I would definitely refer a Michael to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

I first met Syrah at Piazza Mazda of Reading back in October when I started looking for a new car. I made it clear that I was not there to buy a car that day; I was simply browsing so that I would know what I want come November (when I was ready to buy a car). She was not pushy and understood that she would not be making a sale (with me) that day, but she still dedicated an hour and a half of her day to me. She helped answer all the questions I had, let me do a test drive, and even took the time to prepare numbers for me so that I could compare to other cars I was interested in. Long story short, Piazza Mazda was the only stop I made that day; I left highly satisfied thanks to Syrah. We stayed in contact for the next month and when I was ready to actually buy a car, she was there. She really helped me when it came to getting my monthly payment down to around what I wanted as well as helping me get more money for my trade-in.
