Ah, we went on a Sunday to view the new Santa Cruz truck and I gave it a thumbs up. Too nice to take out in traffic what with the way people drive today! ( Lol.) Honestly, the truck is mighty fine, the grill has several lights; not just the main headlamps. Its real nice inside- the jack is under the right passenger seat in the back. It has plenty of room. Go see for yourself! Its mighty nice looking too.

I came in to Seidel Hyundai today July 6 To have my car serviced for a recall. Some lady from the office screamed at me because I went through a door that had the signs posted on it and said if their insurance prohibited people from going through these doors. I’m not sure if Covid affects peoples brains but it sure seems that way since they have signs that say this way to the customer lounge. She was rude she was crude and she was embarrassing me in front of other people.I cannot recommend this place to purchase anything have your car serviced or even consider buying a car from them. I understand the rules but it’s 7:30 in the morning to be yelled at by someone for walking through a door that says this way to customer lounge I didn’t put those signs therePlease if you have a chance bye from another dealer any other dealer there lots of Honda dealers then I’m sure treat their customers better than Seidel Hyundai

The personnel and service were very satisfactory. However, I received a 15% off coupon for the 30,000 mile service at the 3-year mark (September.) Because of Covid limiting travel, I did not reach 30,000 miles until July. Although I was given a 5% discount on the service, the coupon for 15% had an expiration date which had already passed. 1) either do not list an expiration date, or 2) state that it can be used when 30,000 miles are reached. Otherwise, it appears to be a come-on.

Always polite and ask what you want done.If there are any problems, they check with you first to see if you want the work done. Then they fix it for you. While you are waiting they have refreshments, a place if you need to get work done, and TV. I always enjoy coming here.

I took my 2012 Veracruz in because oil leaked on the alternator, causing it to fail. While this is the subject of a safety recall that was initially issued in November 2020, Hyundai still had not found a solution for the leaking vale cover gasket. Sigh! So I broke down, needed a tow and lost the use of the car for 4 days. But I digress - that is Hyundai corporate.Seidel Hyundai told me that Hyundai policy is that since there is no fix for the safety recall, I would need to pay for the repairs and then request reimbursement from Hyundai later. That would be a hassle since I dont exactly have a lot of income right now.After they told me this, they contacted Hyundai corporate and were able to get approval to do the fix for free (the part that will likely be covered by the safety recall). I greatly appreciate the way they went the extra mile to get this matter handled without my needing to swing Hyundai a loan.Having said that, I did have one disappointment with them. While they were replacing the leaky valve cover gasket on one side of the engine (for free) I had them change the leaking gasket on the other side (which in theory should be something Hyundai should be covering, but again I digress). The disappointment was at their ability to make an accurate estimate. They estimated a cost of $215 for the extra work, but it ended up costing me $294! I dont think there were any unexpected problems (at least they did not tell me of any). So being off by that much was quite disappointing.Bottom line, they seem willing to go the extra mile to help and are quite friendly. But take their estimates with a large grain of salt.

This is a mixed review. The salesman we were dealing with was great, however the management is horrible. The general manager Jerome actually yelled “I can sell that car in half a second” while trying to negotiate trade in value. Steve was very condescending to my wife in trying to talk her into ridiculous financing. After leaving I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again for a reassessment on trade in. Jerome took the keys from my wife, said nothing, came back in about 2 minutes, and offered 200 more dollars. I’ve negotiated several car purchases, and have never been treated like this. Don’t bother, drive up to Kelly Hyundai in Hamburg, much more reasonable people.

I highly recommend coming to Seidel Hyundai to purchase a vehicle. It’s great that they have someone like Jerome Seidel that will treat his customers with class. The moment you walk in the door you can feel that family business atmosphere which is very welcoming!Jerome hooked me up with Chris Caruso, who is an experienced Sales Representative. Chris was awesome! He sold me a beautiful 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe! I love it! Chris knew his stuff and was great to work with. He gave me some different options and let me make my own decision. It’s nice working with somebody who is patient and will work with his customers. Chris is the type of person who truly cares about his customers and their experience in a new vehicle. Worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. Just got my car a month ago and it’s already having trouble. I tried to come in two weeks ago and trade for something else and got treated like trash by Steve. I also couldn’t get an appointment until the end of June so I’ve been stuck with this car for weeks. Chris Rob and Larry are very nice but Steve is very rude and made me felt horrible when I literally just got this car in May . I chose this place over several places after a car accident to deal with nonsense. I will make sure to not refer this place to anyone. Huge Scam!

I came in last week to get my inspection done. I just replaced my battery on my 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe. When I came to pick it up they told me they where not able to do the inspection because if you change the battery then there aren’t any codes. So they directed me to drive the car around to put on some miles, then bring it back. I had to pay them even though they told me to bring it back. So I didn’t pass or fail. So I bring it back the next week and they told me I failed because of my breaks and they are charging me again. This is ridiculous. Employees need to be retrained when it comes to inspection. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE A SCAM. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

Update: So a used Hyundai Tucson with 60K miles, purchased less than 2 years ago with less than 20,000 miles on it now needs the transmission to be completely replaced. $4,000 to $8,000 additional cost to buying this car. Avoid Hyundai Tucson. (Again, staff here couldnt be nicer, but feel little swindled here.)Pro Tip - If you are going to buy a used car here, go for the extended limited warranty. Less than 2 years and 20,000 miles on my Hyundai Tucson, the transmission is now shot and I am going to have to have it towed to get fixed for who knows how much. I would have expect a higher quality used care from Hyundai, but I guess it is what it is. Since it hasnt been driven much in the last 12 months due to COVID-19, maybe COVID impacts transmissions.With that said, the staff here are very nice and have returned all of my phone calls. The purchase process was very smooth and certainly did not have any hiccups at the time.My one star more or less reflects the poor quality of car Hyundais end up being sold when they are pre-owned. I will not be making any future used car purchases at any Hyundai dealerships. I think any well put together car wouldnt start having significant problems until they are at least over 100k miles.Update: Hyundai HQ said theyd give me a ring, they havent, so Ill continue to comment about Hyundai as a whole on my radio show.

Bought a car years ago and no longer have the car. Seidel Hyundai keeps contacting me asking to buy back my car that I no longer have. Email, mailing, phone calls all for a car that no one wanted even when it was new. I have called multiple times asking for them to stop contacting me. I dont like receiving the mail...its a waste of resources and the phone calls are a waste of time. I wouldnt deal with this company again even if I were interested in owning a Hyundai again.

Where to start? They harass you to buy a car you no longer own. Even after asking to be off their phone and mailing list. When you did own it, they had it in the shop for recalls for a month but never properly fixed it. When you were looking at their cars they never call you. Had much better experiences at other dealers in the Hyundai family.

He had robust product knowledge and thorough communication regarding all aspects of the transaction. Tyler was also very friendly and accommodating making for a stress-free time. I met Steve, Jerome, and Matt as well; all of which were great which further added to the solid experience. The lot had a nice selection and easy-to-navigate layout. Great customer service. My engine blew out, they were able to get it covered under warranty at absolutely no cost to me. They were able to provide me a courtesy vehicle while mine was in the shop. JP with the service department was an absolute professional all around. When my vehicle was finished they even had their courtesy driver deliver the vehicle and pick up the rental to avoid any charges to me, since I was sick at home. Highly recommend this place.

Long story.....I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT through a dealer (not Hyundai) on New Years Eve 2019. Less than a week after purchase, I began to hear a knocking noise when the engine was cold. After several people looked at the car over the next few weeks and told me that they felt that there was nothing major wrong, I dropped it at Seidel Hyundai on a cold night so that they could hear the noise in the (cold) morning. They called me the next day with bad news...the knock was a major issue and my car needed a new engine. Hyundai does have a 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty which drops to 5 years 60,000 miles for the second owner. My car was only at 55,000 miles but was 6 years old so was out of warranty. However, within 24 hours, service representative Kyle told me that in good faith, Hyundai had agreed to pay 85% of the new engine and 85% towards a rental while I waited 3-4 weeks for the engine to arrive. I had received a 2 year aftermarket warranty with the car when purchased and Kyle contacted the warranty company to pay the remaining 15% which they agreed to do minus my $200 deductible. Less than two weeks later, way before the timeline they gave me, I got a call that the car was done. Total cost to me was $326 for the repairs and the rental car. I have driven the car for 10 days now and it seems to be completely repaired. I feel like Kyle went above and beyond to make a poor situation bearable for me. I have owned 6 Hyundais since 2001 and still have faith that Hyundai makes a great car and back them up with great warranties. I will go back to Seidel when we need another car or more importantly when we need service to our existing cars.Follow up--3 months later. Still very satisfied. I happened to be dropping my daughters Hyundai off at Seidel for a recall when I noticed an antifreeze drip on my car. Good timing! I left both cars there and Seidel repaired a leaky hose clamp for no charge, even though the part was not one that was replaced when the engine rebuild was done 3 months prior. Still a satisfied customer.

They took care of my car with oil change, tire rotation, replaced the shroud for my power seat controls, front brake pads. rotor resurfacing. They did an amazing job on it. Feels like im driving a new car. The price was less than expected for all of this.Been here for all my service. Sensor issue covered under warranty. Seat belts covered under warranty. oil change and inspection. Every time I come here, I feel like a respected customer. Kyle my service adviser is great! Always greets me and knows who I am. Had issues with a sound coming from my Hyundai (tires) and inspection being done. From the time I called - to the time I left, I had a great experience. Brad the service adviser was friendly and accommodating. Spoke to a dude named Tyler and the gang and was at first thinking I was not going to get anything really because I needed a reliable car. Not for just work but leisure. So they gave me a sweet deal on this 2016 Nissan sentra superman blue color. With very low miles. God bless that old couple who did not even touch this car! 23,000. Miles! Cmon. Fit me close. I was worried about the payments and things but I traded in my 98 corolla and price of payments went down. Couldnt believe and still cant I finally have a reliable car. I could drive this thing to alaska and back if i wanted to. Realistically Texas. Lol. Super annoying with telemarketing and junk mail. I love how they write your name and address on the envelope making it look a card and then in the sender area not even putting the name of the person who is sending the mail and then you open it to find out whats inside, them advertising. And I just love how when you take your car there for service they think its ok to send you in the mail a buy-back offer. I didnt ask for one, just annoying. I have had nothing but issues with Seidel since I bought my car in 2015. 1st off there was damage to the car the day I bought it and it was never disclosed. When I pointed it out my sales person promised to have it replaced and fixed correctly. I took it back in and all that was done was touch up paint applied. When I questioned why it wasnt fixed like promised, I was then told I would have to split the cost with the salesman since he made a promise the dealership didnt approve. Then at just under 58,000 miles my motor blew. My car sat on the lot for days waiting for the warranty to be approved and in the meantime I was told I could not have a rental/ loaner car until they knew if the warranty was approved and it could then take months to fix the car. I called Hyundia direct and within 2 days my car was fixed. Just not correctly. The next day it was making a horrible vibrating noise, I took it back to dealership and was told it was a normal noise that they all make that noise. Fast forward to 2 days ago, Took my car to be inspected, (at a different location) and was told That I am missing bolts and that there is a cover unsecured under my motor exactly where I explained to service that I was hearing a noise from. Now I must once again be inconvenienced and wait until the weekend to have them again look at the car because they did not offer any type of loaner car or shuttle service for me to get to work. I have more issues and noises with my car now then I ever did prior to them replacing the motor and it still has less than 60,000 miles.

Found a small problem with our car shortly after purchasing it. Brought the car in and we were told that they never had this problem before but they would fix it. After ordering several parts to cover all bases, I was given an appointment and was told it would hopefully take about an hour. I came back an hour later after shopping and the car was done. Very happy that they were able to fix the problem and wanted to do anything they could to accommodate us - even doing the service on a Saturday. The only way this could have been any better was if they washed and vacuumed the car.

We have been taking our cars for service at Seidel Hundai since we purchased them. The service has always been very good, the staff very friendly. We are able to get an appointment promptly. I recently had an oil change and decided to wait for the car. It was done in 1/2 hour which was much quicker than I expected.
