On September 10th we spent $1600 for Red Bluff Auto Clinic to replace our A/C system. After less than 14 days our A/C is no longer blowing cold air or functioning properly. After the shop reevaluated our system they informed us there would be additional charges as they had not gone through the entire system as previously agreed on. We were verbally assaulted by the manager when we pressed to have the vehicle fixed correctly as agreed on. I DO NOT recommend this shop to anyone. We spent the extra money assuming we would have a completely new system covered by warranty, to be treated horribly by the manager and to be out a substantial amount of money.

They are always very professional as well as very friendly!! I completely trust their great work and great prices!! I have and will continue to take my vehicles to them and refer my family and friends!!! Again I drive away knowing they’ve done a great job!

They are amazing they did work on my Honda Civic si pretty much saved my car from being messed up I’m grateful for them and all there workers and how kind they were to me and my family if we ever come out to California again we will definitely be going there again!!

Horrible experience. I took my car in due to a leak. When I got my car back there was more that $3000 worth of body damage done, they claimed they had hit a fence post, however there was significant paint transfer and damage it appears as though it was literally rammed by another vehicle. They are paying for the damage, but honesty would have really helped. My estimate increased by several hundred dollars and I wasnt notified until it was time to pick up my car, I should have been notified of any extra work needing to be done prior, a simple phone call would have been nice and professional. Overall experience here was not positive.

Called Red Bluff Auto about noon and was told to bring my car right in and the would look at it right away. Got there and they were coming out the door and immediately checked out the problem.I was given a very accurate estimate by a very professional and kind person and they even gave me a ride home!Two hours later and I got a call that my car was ready and they picked me up.I am so glad I called them and I will continue using them for any car problems. My car does have over 314,000 miles on it and he is back and running well!The repairs all had to do with solenoids, exhaust system, and they even cleaned my brakes.I highly recommend Red Bluff Auto Clinic for service, speed, and truthfulness!!

Dont waste your time anywhere else. Joe was the third mechanic Ive seen for the same problem but he was the only one to actually find the problem. He found it so quickly I honestly cant figure how the other shops couldnt. I wish I would have gone to him first before the damage was too far done. This is now the only place I will go.

I was on a 16 hour road trip with truck camper and cargo trailer in tow when I had engine trouble 7.5 hours from home. I blindly chose Red Bluff auto clinic as my tow destination. Joe was above and beyond kind, given my complicated situation. They diagnosed my 2004 Ford F150 engine problem and gave me a very clear explanation of what had happened, showing me the damaged spark plug, etc. I have an automatic suspicion of mechanics, due to previous dishonest experiences and Joe did much to change that view. I felt like they dropped everything to attend to me! I never felt like I was being coerced or manipulated. He gave clear and reasonable options for repair. Unfortunately, given the distance I needed to go, the potential 5 days to get parts and do deep engine work, my COVID fears of hotels, and my husbands desire for me to bring it back to him to fuss with, I ended up having the whole mess towed home (for a pretty penny), and did not get to have them prove their repair skills. However, ladies, if you want a mechanic who does not talk down to you or pressure you into a decision in their favor, I would recommend Joe and his crew at Red Bluff! Thanks guys!

I am so grateful for this shop. I have never been treated like a friend before when getting repairs done but these guys were great. Joseph was helpful and even assisted me with transportation while my car was in their shop. He called and was commutative about updating me on things that I asked him to check. He also was able to get the car detailed for me, which it sorely needed. All in all he saved me $600! I will take my car here from now on. Its hard to find stellar customer service like this. Tried to charge for unnecessary repairs. Did not fix the real problem and let my friend drive away in an unsafe vehicle.

Took my PT Cruiser in to have the water pump and timing belt replaced. they found other things that needed to be fixed, not a problem with that. The problems that came up when I picked up the were: First, the throttle cable was not connected properly and could not get the car above 30 MPH. Got it home took care of it myself not hard just needed to be clipped in to the housing. The 2nd problem was that the power steering was leaking BAD! I had a nuisance leek for a while, but this was so bad it was flowing to to the ground as soon as put it in. The High pressure line was backed out from the pump so far that I could see the threads. Again I fixed it my self as I knew how to since I replaced the pump and reservoir 6th months prior. Then when it was warm outside I turned on my A/C to find that it would not blow cold even after a few minutes. This system had been ICE cold, and this shop worked on the A/C system and put in dye in 2015. This was before I had the car but the service sticker is on the underside of my hood. Thankfully they are refilling my system at no charge to me. Really wish they had done everything correctly the first time.

Broke down on my way home And these guys got me back on the road in about 2 hrs! Very quick and very helpful/professonial crew!

This amazing staff and family went over and beyond to help us as we were stranded right before Christmas weekend. They not only provided us great service they helped us AGAIN as we were stranded once more at the airport because of can rental issues. My alternator went out while traveling down I-5 from Oregon to N. California. We were about 30 miles from Red Bluff at 4:15 PM on a Friday afternoon and needed to meet my sister the following day. I called Red Bluff Auto Clinic after looking them up on the web and was told to try to make it into the shop if possible. We managed to drive to Red Bluff and made it off the freeway but the car completely stalled 2 blocks from the shop. Joe sent over a mechanic who helped me get to the shop. I expected that we would be spending the week-end in Red Bluff but much to my surprise and pleasure found that the shop was open 7 days a week. After calling around Joe found the correct replacement alternator which was delivered at 8:00 on Saturday morning and 2 hours later we were on our way again! Joe drove us to a hotel and picked us up for our short stay in Red Bluff and went above and beyond to take care of us. While it is never pleasant to break down while traveling, if you do and are in the Red Bluff area, I highly recommend that you give Joe a call. If you live in Red Bluff, make sure that you contact Joe if you need any work done on your car! Thank you, Joe. It was pleasure doing business with you!

Joe and the guys here are top notch, genuine mechanics. This is the kind of place you hope for when bringing your vehicle to a shop. We were from out of town and having trouble with our vehicle driving South on the I-5. We found this place while passing Red Bluff and I am so glad we did. Joe stopped what he was doing and inspected our car from head to toe, ran diagnostics and test drove it to see what was going on. He gave us several options and didnt charge us a penny. We truly appreciate all the kindness and time you gave us during a pretty rough time, when we had very little money. I was literally stranded with a cracked radiator while I was traveling and they really were wonderful and truly an amazing miracle. They saved me and will always be grateful. I used to love this place. It was my go-to for the $80 oil changes they would charge me every 3,000 miles or so. I have a Prius, and it was one of the only places in Red Bluff that was “confident” they could service it properly. My last visit here was almost exactly a year ago when I was planning an 18-hour drive. They did a routine oil change and a tune-up spark plug replacement.The technician who did the oil change left the oil cap off, and it was tucked in the spot where my wipers do. The only reason I was able to find and correct this was because my stepdad luckily changed out my wipers for me before I left. I was admittedly irritated by their carelessness, but as I was planning a big drive, sending in a complaint wasn’t really on my agenda.Fast forward to a year later, and my car is misfiring due to the WRONG SPARKPLUGS BEING INSTALLED! And I definitely know I was charged the “Prius price” for what they gave me. So now here I am paying $300 AGAIN for a service I was guaranteed a year ago. Idk if they’ll even read this review, but if they do, I would like to try to request my money back. I still have the receipts.It’s a shame, I used to give this place raving reviews to my friends and family in Red Bluff. I’m saddened that this review has to be such a negative one.

Would never take my car here. Very unhelpful not very knowledgeable. Messed my car up had to take to another mechanic to fix. Ruined my wheel bearing and said they could not fix it. Said it was 6 1/2 hour job. Would not recommend to anyone.

Oh my God you would not believe the way my wife and sister were treated you would think they were family! My wife and sister were on there way to visit their sister who was ill in Oregon they had left San Francisco in the early afternoon when they where about 6 miles outside of Red Bluff the fuel pump in my 2002 Chevy Silverado stopped working around 7pm thank god they had pulled over at a rest stop when they starting loosing power two tows latter they were able to get to the Red Bluff Auto Clinic in the morning Rene the women there and the mechanics got on it as soon as the rack opened up she drove my wife and sister to their hotel and even went back and got them to get some things out of the truck after everything was done late that afternoon the Rene picked them up at the restaurant were they were eating and brought them to get the truck all though my wife and sister had to stay in Red Bluff for a couple of nights because of the vehicle they could not have been welcomed or better taken care of we will always remember the professionalism and warm hearted people at the Red Bluff Auto Clinic. We were traveling from Seattle to Sequoia when our AC went out. It was 105 degrees on a Friday night and we were panicked. We called the next morning (on a Saturday!) before they were even open and they told us to come on in. They were fantastic and went above and beyond to find parts that we needed and get us back on the road as quickly as possible. Everyone was very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

These guys are awesome! We were headed south to visit friends when our serpentine belt broke off as we were driving down the freeway. Had the tow guy take us to the only place that was open and willing to fix it. Turns out the tension rod was also broken. It was almost closing time, so we were prepared to either have to spend the night so they could fix it in the morning or get a rental car and pick it up on our way home. The guy in charge offered to stay open for us and pay his guys overtime just so we could get back on the road! If we lived in Red Bluff this would totally be our go to mechanic!

Cant say enough about the quick turn around service the Red Bluff Auto Clinic gave my husband and myself. Our transmission went down in our pick up truck, Joe and his crew had us up and running in no time. The price was less than he quoted us as well as the repair time. GREAT guys. I stopped in on a road trip from Sac to Tacoma, WA when my AC went out. I was looking for a quick fix. Turns out thats not a quick fix kind of thing, but these guys located the issues and went above and beyond in getting my AC functional again. In addition to that, they made sure that the fan that wasnt running got running by the time I left, so that it would be more efficient. Cant even express how grateful I am. Thank you!!!

My experience with this place was beyond amazing, my car was acting super weird and the serives agent light went on out of the blue and far away from home... The car was shacking as I kept forcing it to drive so I woulswou get stranded. Finally got to town and looked up the nearest mechanic around me and we made a different stop before this one, the guy was kind of mean and told me he was all booked and that he could only check my car the nest day. Well I needed to get back home asap and I also had my 9 month old baby with me, so I called red Bluff auto clinic and told him my situation and they said they would check my car right away and they did. They even fixed it in less than 3 hours! It was the best customer service Ive ever had in a while. Everyone was super nice and them finish my car right away meant a lot because I had a hotel away from town and I was 4 hours away from hime. Definitely recommend this place

When I called to get my Escapes transmission serviced, I was invited to bring my car in the next (Saturday) morning anytime. When I arrived, my cars stats were entered into their system, I was given an estimate of $188 and told the car would be ready in an hour and a half to two hours. Right on time, Joe called to say the Escape was ready, and that they discovered it didnt have a standard filter, meaning the bill was reduced to $103!. The tranny runs so much smoother, the service was done in a timely manner, and their integrity about the bill was an example of true customer service.

This place is hands down the worst shop in red bluff.

I took my car in to just have the coolant flushed and they talked me into having over $1,000 worth of work done. When my husband brought the car home I noticed they had broke my driver side mirror off, and the bolt holding the main motor mount wasnt even finger tight. So we took the car back the next morning and they tighten the bolt, but they didnt want to look to see if anything else was loose as well. Then when I asked about what happened to my mirror they tried to tell me that it was already like that, when I told him no that I knew it was still on when I took it in he just kept saying no its been like that for a long time.
